I really have the itch to do a vampire plot right now. I'm not too picky on roleplay requirements as long as replies are at least a paragraph long and you have a grasp on grammar ^^

*slides in* Similar thoughts any specific ideas?

Hm, kinda? But they're vague 1) a law has been passed that outlaws the existence of vampires - this could go a variety of ways 2) the law above has been repealed and we're dealing with its aftermath - could go a variety of ways 3) vampires doing normal stuff, like going to college or working - seems basic, but we could add to it; maybe throw in elements of the above ideas 4) I feel like there's more but I'm blanking at the moment
Also, I think I would prefer if the "pairings" for each idea were a human and a vampire, but I'm cool with having more than one character

I'm good for more than one character, though slice of life tends to go so slowly for me ;w; one or two interest me.)

(Yeah, the third one sounded 1000% better in my head. But yay for one and two! Did you want to do one or the other, or did you want to do both?)

I'm really like super neutral. We could go with one, and have it lead into two, or i can go for either option.)

So am I xD I feel like there's more we can do with one, and we can have it lead into two if we want it to.

Sure thing. We can both run human and vampire characters to start :3)

Yeah, that's what I was thinking ^^ Did you want to keep each "set" of characters separate or should they be a little group of sorts?

Eh, that's up to you. They might start separate and find each other later, or they might start together.

Okay ^^ Did you have any particular way you wanted to start this?

Not really. And quick, how are we doing the vampires? Like, there's so many takes on them, even subclasses.

I usually do them where they're faster/stronger/better looking than humans and the sun doesn't burn them alive but it's something they try to avoid. As for weaknesses, I kinda wing it but I like it when they can be injured with normal weapons though it's unlikely they'll die that way. I also like the idea where they can have a family and can age if they're born vampires. But we don't have to do all of this ^^

(Nah, this works :3 Just want to know how you wanted to do it~ Do you want character sheets, or in-play description? I also do a lot of character art.)

(If you want to post character sheets, that's fine. I probably won't because I don't actually have fully written descriptions for all of my characters. Describing in the roleplay is fine too ^^)

X3 alright, I'll try a decent start. Do you believe that the new law would lead to legal hunters? Just checking before I start.)

(Perhaps almost a year for a happy medium. People are to where they see way less vampires, but can identify one with relative ease in the appropriate setting. Passing glance, you might not know, but watch a guy avoid sunlight for 10min and you might start getting suspicious.)

Tact and subtly where never her strong suits. In the many years she'd been left to roam this place, she'd learned that the fastest way to get answer was to be direct. She didn't usually see eye to eye with people who lacked the same mindset. After all, the fools on the ground at her feet had spent so long trying to get any suspicious answer out of her that she'd realized their intent and attacked before most of them had been able to draw their weapons. She was a little surprised they didn't have a ranged ally to cover them. Then again, they weren't exactly the most talented bunch she'd cut down. Even for a vampire, she was very pale. Enough so that blending in with humans wasn't really an option for her. She unbuttoned the cloak she'd been covering herself with. It was soaked through from the fight, if you could call it a fight, and she suspected the cloak might have been part of the reason she'd been questioned. She dropped it and continued walking. Ghostly grey eyes watched the path ahead for any other movement. She didn't want to lose her jacket to a conspicuous bloodstain too. She still had a few hours until daybreak. She'd have to find a place to settle for the day. Perhaps she could clear the city limits and just go through the woods? Then again, the woods weren't super close to the city if she remembered clearly, so she might get stuck under a tree's shade for the day's duration...

Blair had only been hunting for a few months. He'd been in training since shortly after the new law was passed. He didn't have a true issue against vampires, but he wasn't fond of them. Really, it was like a policeman's position. Catch and deliver the undead, the higher ups decided what happened to them from there. He'd been out most of the night, and he was coming to the end of his patrol. He checked his phone and frowned. He hadn't gotten any response from the others. He highly doubted their phones had collectively died... He reached up with his free hand and twisted the ends of his blond hair nervously. Had something happened? He'd have to run their route and look for any sign that something had gone wrong. After he waited a few minutes at the rendezvous point.

Lucas came to a stop and pressed his right hand against a thick tree as he looked around the area. He didn’t see anything in the area that had the potential to be a threat for him, so he let out a quiet sigh before stretching his arms to relieve the tension that had built up in his shoulders. He then pushed a hand through his hair as he let out another sigh. He pulled down on his long shirt sleeves as he gently bit his lower lip, trying to figure out if he had enough time to get through the next city before the sun rose. While he knew he would be okay – for the most part – with the long-sleeved shirt, he didn’t want to risk the sunburn, but he also didn’t want to get stuck in one place for too long. “Dammit,” he mumbled under his breath, continuing to walk. He’d have to make a decision soon, but for now, he figured he might as well try to enjoy the quiet.
Cassie’s hand hovered above her gun, ready to grab it if she needed it to defend herself. However, it soon became clear that she wouldn’t need it. She stood straight and leaned against a wall as she let out a sigh. She had been incredibly jumpy for the last year or so – since the law had passed and since she had a near-death encounter with a vampire – so her first response to nearly anything was to reach for her gun, which, if she didn’t watch it, could get her in trouble. Cass pushed some strands of her navy blue hair out of her face before pressing both hands against the wall in front of her. She hated being assigned to work in the city. There were too many places for a vampire to hide and too many ways for him or her to get away. While the woods presented the same challenges, she at least knew that anyone out there was very likely a threat.

(Ok back, Sorry. She only had a little time before she had to go to bed and I'm still salty about some junk)
The pale woman continued toward the edge of the city. The shift in the quality of buildings was clearly visible, where more cracks and boarded windows were present with every street she traversed. It was sort of a sorry sight. Even if she wasn't particularly fond of humans, she'd found many an abandoned towns doors and windows boarded over with plywood and not another soul in sight. It was a sad reminder of the changing world, one that now she couldn't even pretend to be part of. She decided it was too close to dawn to reach the woods, so she selected one of the abandoned buildings and walked over. She spent a moment inspecting it before she hooked her fingers under the board outside one of the windows and pulled it loose. She lifted it enough to slip her small frame inside and let it drop quietly behind her. With a quiet place to rest for the day, she removed her green jacket and tied it around her waist. Without the hood to keep her pale hair in place, it fell around her easily, sticking to her skin in some places. It was a little warm in here since the boarded windows didn't allow for ventilation and her scalp was already a little sweaty. Oh well. She'd have to spend the day, find a snack, and then take out once the sun was fully set.
---
Blair reached the rendezvous point. No one else seemed to be here. He couldn't help feeling another knot of worry form in his gut and he checked his phone again. Still no messages. He decided a mass text was the best solution. Even if their phones were dead, he'd feel better sending it. At least one of them had to have a charge in their battery, right?
At meeting spot. Where are you guys?
Blair hit send and waited. He kept his phone in his hand but his eyes stayed upward, watching the streets for any movement. This spot was as likely as any for a vampire to pass through, and he had to stay alert.
