(Im okay I guess, just tired. But I'm also happy because I got my portfolio score back today^^ I thought I was going to fail it, but I passed! How are you?)
Matteo blinked into the waterpark room, right at the edge of the pool. Carefully so he didn't trip into the pool, the boy turned around, spotting the other blinker. He gave a huge grin and waved to her. "Pajarito! It's been a long time!" He exclaimed, taking a few steps forward. "Hey, I heard this place is called a pool. Do you like swimming?"

(Wooh! That's great that you passed. Plus, weekend. Sleeping in. I'm good. Finishing up my math homework. Hopefully I'll get it do today. ) Pajarito, who hadn't seen Matt in two weeks, grinned. "Yes, it has been some time." She looked down at the water and shrugged. "Don't know. I've never been swimming before." She didn't think she could swim, but had never really tired. She looked back at Matteo. "Do you like swimming?" she asked.

(i wish I could sleep in xD Oh I actually like math im weird)
Matteo looked away from her and back towards the water also, shrugging. "I've never been swimming either, so I really don't know. It looks like fun, though!" The boy replied, his eyes moving to one of the slides. He pointed toward it. "But that looks more fun than swimming! I was going to go on it last time, but I blinked out." He paused, looking back at Pajarito. "Do you wanna go on it with me?"

(Welp, nothing says fun like a sun doggo getting wet!
and a lizard thing too i guess)
For the second time in her stay in the House, Ammy found herself in water. She yelped and flailed around wildly, causing large splashes as her paws hit the... bottom? Oh. I can stand in this. The wolf huffed and walked over to the side of the strange-tasting pool of water, hauling herself onto the concrete. She glared at a certain haxorus, who was snickering a few feet away. "Not funny."

*throws Touka*)
Touka pushed off from the ground with as much force as she could muster, flinging herself high in the air. She realized mid-leap that instead of the balcony that had been dead ahead of her, she now seemed to be heading straight for a long, plastic surface - a slide? Thinking fast, she flung her arms out in front of her, gripping the edge and hanging, precariously, several feet above the water. After a moment's hesitation she pulled herself the rest of the way up, climbing to sit neatly on the edge, and finally took a look around her. Spotting the others, she shifted her position impatiently, wondering if she could find a safe way down so she could join them.

Blade looked up, squinting at the slide. Was someone up there? It was... Touka, if he remembered correctly. "Oh, hey! Guess the House dumped you up there!" he shouted. "I guess it's some kinda human park thing!" A... amusement park? No that wasn't right...

Pajarito looked up at the slide in time to see Touka blink in. "Well," she muttered. "We have to wait for Touka to get down first." She hadn't met Touka yet. But she was in Katio's notebook from when they had been in the supermarket room. She also noticed Ammy and Blade, though didn't say anything about them. Ammy had been the one she had seen in the living room ages ago. "Don't know," she said, tilting her head. "We might end up in the water yet."

"I think it's called a water park." said Touka to Blade, making her way down the slide. She recognized Ammy and Matteo, but she wasn't sure she'd met the others yet. Eventually, after a bit of scrambling, she gave up on the idea of finesse and let go of the edge, dropping into the waist-deep water below. It soaked through her clothes, of course, and she mentally cursed herself for forgetting to take off her jacket first. She waded to the edge of the pool, pulling herself up to join the others. "Ok, so what's the catch? Sharks? Carnivorous octopi?" It was the House, after all. There had to be something.

Sort of here ^^. )
L blinked in directly over the pool. He uttered a low grunt and kicked out his legs in an effort to catch himself, but only succeeded in making an enormous splash as he was dunked. The detective thrashed around for a couple of seconds before one of his flailing hands hit the bottom, causing pain to shoot up his arm. Panic filled his chest, and he found himself wondering what would happen if he were to drown, just like that; in a strange universe where not even Watari could find him. Then his head surfaced and he gasped, sucking in the cold air until his lungs ached. As he pushed his streaming black hair out of his eyes, his bare feet easily supported him, and he found himself staring at a small marker on the side of the pool. "This is only the shallow end?" He said aloud.

"Other than dunking me into water and nearly giving me a heart attack, nothing seems dangerous," Ammy said. She shook herself off, delibrately spraying Blade with the water droplets. Farther down the poolside, she heard a splash. "...Make that two people who had that experience," she muttered, only half-joking.

"Carnivorous octopi?" questioned Pajarito, raising a doudtful eyebrow. "No. According to Kid, it's just this. Water, slide, pool, ect." When L blinked in, the bird shifter leaned down until she was looking directly down at Ryuga. "You landed in the shallow end, yes." Her eyes showed that she thought he was an idiot. "Ryuga with the fake name, correct?" she said bluntly.

(So short, sorry)
Matteo blinked, watching Touka softly. He headed toward the edge of the pool, kneeling down and dipping his hand in. He then heard her go off about something and he looked at the ghoul. "What does carn...carn whatever octopi mean?" The little boy asked, looking between all the blinkers now.

"So far..." muttered Touka, casting a dubious glance at the water. When Ryuga blinked in she passively watched his struggles for a moment, turning to glance at Matteo once she was satisfied he wouldn't drown. "An octopus is like a big fish with lots of arms." she explained, one eye still on the other things going on around her. "Like a squid, but bigger."

L blinked up at Pajarito, still trying to get the chlorine out of his eyes. She was looking at him like she thought he must be really stupid, which he supposed was fair, under the circumstances. As she continued, he dragged himself up out of the pool and stood with streams of water running down his clothes. "Yes, that's right." He answered her, not bothering to try and deny that the name was a fake. Even if Kira was somehow responsible for this, he already knew the name was a fake, that was the whole point. "What about you, what's your name?" He asked next, firmly squeezing his shirt in an attempt to dry it.

"Kid? As in Kaito Kid?" Ammy asked. Something about the girl's scent had been familiar. The strange water had just muffled her sense of smell. She dipped her head to the newcomer. "Pleasure to meet you."
"Pretty formal for a wolf," Blade muttered, whiping the water off his scales.

"Oh wow, well I think you should think differently about the House, really!" Matteo replied, still half-distracted by the water in the pool. He splashed his hands in it, then eyed the edge of the pool, seeing a ladder now too far away. The little boy stood up again, running over. He paused in front of it, looking over at Touka. "Just enjoy the room! It can be fun and maybe the House is being nice to us!"

Touka laughed, smiling up at the boy as he stood up. He reminded her a little bit of Hinami - she could totally picture her saying something similar, even in a situation as unpredictable and dangerous as this. "Maybe you're right." she said with a shrug, standing up to follow him. "I've never been in water much, though...can you swim?"

"Ive never been swimming," admitted Matteo, looking away from her and toward the large number 3 on the side of the pool. He pointed toward it as he approached the side. "But it doesn't look very deep here...so I want to try! It looks like so much fun! can you not swim?"

Pajarito stood straight again, looking over at Ammy. "Correct. I am his...well, I've been using the term assistant. I help him with his magic shows." She shrugged and the crest of feathers on her head fluffed out in response to her mood. Then she turned to look back at Ryuga, eyebrow raised. "Considering that someone in your world is killing with names, I would find it rather rude to ask for one." She seemed rather smug that she had knowledge about Ryuga when he knew nothing about her. "My name is Pajarito," she added after a couple of seconds. It meant small bird in Spanish. She had no last name.

Touka shrugged. "Maybe? I dunno - I learned a little when I was a kid." Taking off her jacket and laying it by the side of the pool, she hopped onto the ladder and made her way into the water. "One way to find out, I guess." She let go of the ladder, feeling her shoes brush against the bottom. "It's shallow enough here anyway. So it's fine even if I can't swim." She looked up at him, bouncing lightly on her toes to keep her balance. "You coming in?"

If you know that much, you must have been speaking with someone from the store room. L decided, giving up his attempt to dry his clothes. It was probably a good experiment anyway, to see if he'd still be wet when he blinked out. He smiled slight; THAT would be hard to explain. The pale boy raised his eyebrows when Pajarito gave her name, he hadn't really expected her to after her remark. "Well, Pajarito, it's nice to meet you. From what you've said, I now know that I made at least some impression from my earlier visits." Probably Kid, though why he'd choose to talk about me in that kind of detail I don't know. "Anyway, you've been blinking in for a while now?"

"Me? Yeah of course?" Matteo replied, heading toward the ladder. He grabbed ahold of it, slowly stepping into the pool until he was totally in, still holding on. He turned, looking at rp where Touka was. "Are you sure you can touch?" He asked, trying to look down at the bottom of the pool. "It looks really deep from here..." He trailed off as he accidentally let go of the ladder, beginning to do a messy doggy paddle, though it wasn't really working out too well. That was until he realized that he could actually just barely touch the bottom of the pool if he was on his tiptoes. "Oh...it's not too bad right now."

"Kid. He writes everything down once he blinks back into his world. Or while he's still here," said Pajarito, figuring that if this guy was as smart as Kid had said, then Ryuga would have figured out that Kid was the one who had told her. Then again, this guy had almost drowned when he could touch the bottom of the pool, so maybe she'd misread something in Katio's notebook. She started shake her head, then stopped, shrugging. "I've been coming here longer than Shinichi, but not as long as Kid. I just don't blink in often." The pigeon shifter was starting to look bored. Talking only kept her attention for so long, and unlike the thief, she couldn't really see any interest in learning about another person. She wondered if they were going to try and get out of this room soon.

Touka watched his descent, slightly concerned he wouldn't be able to reach. He was shorter than her. When he let go of the ladder and stood up without too much difficulty, she relaxed. "Yeah - as long as we don't go too far towards the deep end, we should be fine." she agreed, slowly making her way back over to the side of the pool so she didn't drift off. It was quite relaxing - not that she intended to let her guard down anytime soon. She hadn't entirely given up on her octopus theory. "Wow - this is weird. I haven't been swimming in forever." she mused, faint memories of first grade swimming classes dancing across her memory as she ran her fingers through the water.

L smiled, he'd been right, and he'd also been justified in his confusion about the idea of Kid chatting about him. A notebook made perfect sense: all the information would be recorded there, so nothing specifically had to come up in the conversation. "The length between blinks seems to vary between visitors by quite a lot." He mused as she continued, but for the moment he left it at that, guessing from her answers that Pajarito wasn't the person to bounce theories off of. She already looked bored with him, so he changed the subject to a more pressing matter. "So, any ideas about how to get out of here? I haven't seen it personally, but rooms are supposedly deadly most of the time."

"Right?" Matteo grinned, grabbing the side of the pool to keep from getting tired. He pulled himself up a little bit, looking over at her. "Anyways..." he looked around some, realizing the others who were still not in the pool yet. "How do you think we're going to get out of this room?"

(Arlo suggested the room flooding and the door being on the ceiling. Should we do that?)
Pajarito shrugged. She'd never paid much attention to the other blinkers. Kid gave her the notebook to read and she wrote in it when something new happened to her here. That was about as much as she payed attention to. "I have no idea how we are going to get out of here," she said. "The last time Kid was in a room with this much water it flooded and everyone nearly drowned. Not to mention that he had to deal with the fish." The thing about Pajarito was, where Kid knew when not to say something, where he was considerate of what his words could do to another, the shape-shifter was not. She'd said Katio's greatest fear and had shrugged it off as nothing.
