(We are still in the waterpark room as far as I know (since no one has RPed since we last did.))
Pajarito blinked in just above the water and shifted back into pigeon form before she could get wet. She flapped over to the top of the water slide and perched there, looking around. After Kid blinked back into his world, he always wrote down what happened, so she already knew this was the latest room. But she also really didn't want to deal with any blinkers today. Or any time really. Except Matteo. She enjoyed his energy and fun loving nature. Everyone else annoyed her.

(So far? I don't know if it's been described further than a large pool with a waterslide to the side of it, going into a pool. Other than that, it hasn't really gotten much more. ^^' )

got it!)
A tall, muscular figured blinked into the room on top of the slide just in front of Pajarito. Before be was able to even process where he was, he was sliding down and landing in the pool with a loud splash. Moments later, his head broke the surface and he started sputtering, waving his hands about until he was able to find his balance and stay afloat in the water, looking around with surprise and anger. "What the --?! Eugh!" he hissed, then started to cough as he swam over to the edge of the pool and heaved his upper body out of the water.

Parjarito watched him, glad her claws were dug into the side of the slide, though it was still slippery from spray. By this time, she already knew that sooner or later she'd have to turn into her human form. But for now she chuckled inwardly as she watched the man swim in the pool. Once he had gotten to the side of the pool she took off, flying to the side of the pool. There she shifted into her human form. Tall, pale, white skinned, white hair, white shirt mixed with feathers, deep black eyes and crest of feather on her head as well as black shoulder feathers. "Are you new here?" she asked, having not seen him around.

Andrew watched as a pigeon flew over then transformed into a more human figure and couldn't believe his eyes. His jaw dropped and he stared at her, utterly speechless and much too shocked to even care about his messy red hair hanging over his eyes and guiding water droplets down his face. Then, he realized she had asked him a question and stiffened up a bit. "Here...?" Where even was here? "I... um... yes? Where even is 'here'? Why am I in a pool when I was just in the forest? ... Who are you and how did you just... you were a bird..."

Gah, thought the pigeon-shifter. Not another new one. "Welcome to the Paradox House," she said dryly, not sounding very welcoming. It was the introduction Katio had received, so she gave it as well. "This will probably, if you are unlucky, become a very familiar place in the future. You 'blinked' in here. Just appeared. When you 'blink' out again, you'll be back in your normal, mundane world as if you never left." She paused for breath, then pointed to herself. "I am Pajarito. I am a bird that can shape-shift into a rather useless human body. The reason behind this is because I am cursed. If you don't come from a world where magic exists, well, get used to it, because in this place, anything happens every day."

Throughout the whole time Pajarito was speaking Andrew was progressively starting to more firmly believe that this wasn't real, that he had been knocked out somehow and was hallucinating. Perhaps lucid dreaming? He had been practicing that, so it would make sense. That didn't explain, however, how his fairly plain mind had come up with something so bizarre. "The Paradox House, eh..? Is there a way I can just get out of here? I need to get back..." he mumbled, grunting softly with effort as he hauled himself up and out of the pool, standing and trying to wring the water out of his pants.
EDIT: awww, alright see you around!)

Arlo blinked in, dressed the same as last time she'd blinked in and still a bit damp. "Yes, a waterpa-AAARK!" Her words turned into a startled shout as the ground suddenly tilted under her bare feet and sent her flying down a slide. She reached up to grab her sunglasses just before she hit the water to keep them from sinking to the bottom of the pool again. It wasn't until she climbed out of the pool that she noticed an unfamiliar man with red hair. Judging by how confused he looked, he was a newbie, most likely a first-time blinker. "Guess you're new here," she said, glancing around the room. She didn't see any other blinkers. "Has anyone explained yet?"

His eyes popped wide open as the odd bird-girl disappeared, and another screaming someone replaced her. Andrew whipped around and reached down to grip his ax, which was hanging at his thigh, then stopped when he realized she wasn't trying to attack him. At her assumption he frowned, suddenly feeling very inexperienced. "Um... yes, I suppose I am, and yeah there was a... another girl... Pajarito? Shes gone now. This isn't real, right? Just a dream? I'm lucid dreaming, and you're in it?"

Arlo started wringing the water out of her hair while she listened to him. She remembered hearing the name "Pajarito" before, but she couldn't really remember who she was. "You aren't dreaming," she replied, putting her sunglasses on her head so she wouldn't lose them if she blinked out, "That's what most of us thought when we started coming here, but we're in the Paradox House. It's a bit... well, maybe more than a bit weird, but you kind of get used to it eventually. It pulls people from different worlds and times and brings us here for awhile, then sends us back to the exact moment it pulled us from. The only room that we really consider 'safe' is the living room, the other rooms are usually dangerous and literally anything can happen in them. Occasionally we find rooms that don't seem to be too dangerous, like this one, but you can never tell what's in a room until you walk in and shut the door, so you have to be careful." She hoped she was at least sort of making sense.

Nonsense, all of it. Andrew only knew of his own, sturdy little world and anything beyond it was ridiculously impossible. But yet, here he was and there didn't seem to be anything he could do about it for the moment. So he decided that for now he would just wait to see what happens, then he would take action once he got sick of waiting. "...Alright. I'll just take your word for it," he grunted, pulling off his shirt and wringing it out. "I'm Andrew, or just Andy if you like."

"Arlo," she replied. She wasn't surprised by his reaction to her explanation, it usually took awhile for the newbies to get used to the idea of the House. "I don't blame you for not believing me, I don't think I'd have believed it either if someone had tried to explain it to me back when I started coming here." For awhile when she'd started blinking, she'd thought she was dreaming too. It had made more sense than the truth had. "Hey, you were here before I blinked in," she started, remembering what she'd been doing before she'd blinked out earlier. "You didn't happen to see a door anywhere did you?" She doubted that he had, she'd been looking for a door for what had felt like hours when Katio had blinked out.
((not quite sure how they're going to get out, I was thinking the room could flood and they'd have to swim to a door on the ceiling or something but idk. The slide was possibly going to be the exit, but they've both went down it already and they just landed in the pool))

At least she let him believe it was a dream without complaining. Meeting someone that was calm was extremely pleasant, especially since he hadn't gotten to talk to anybody in quite a while. It was good to ease back into it. "You're looking for a door? Shouldn't there be one on one of the--" He cut himself off, having turned to gesture towards the wall but seeing that there was in fact no door anywhere. This caused concern to blossom and he frowned. "Oh. Huh. No door."
ohhh, that'd be fun or maybe they'd have to go down the pool drain / into the filter, i remember that being pretty terrifying when i was younger lmao)

Arlo smiled slightly. "I forgot to mention that the doors disappear once you go into the rooms. Finding the way out can take quite awhile, the exits are usually in some strange places," she explained. She walked along the wall, tapping on it every couple of steps as if searching for a hidden door. She knew it probably wouldn't be that easy, but she might as well check. "Sometimes the exit isn't even a door, the was one room a little while back that the floor caved in and we all fell into the living room... you never know what the exit's going to be until you find it." She stopped and looked at the wall, then shot a slightly irritated glance at the ceiling. "It's probably not going to be as easy as finding a hidden door in this wall though."
(( Oh yeah that could work too. ^^ would they end up in the living room, or another room? ))

(Yep. ) (So how are you doing?) Pajarito blinked back into the waterpark room. Once again, she found herself in human form, but at least she had appeared on the side of the pool instead of above it. She looked around, realizing that the new blinker from last time wasn't there anymore and shrugged. That at least meant she wouldn't have to explain more of the House. Of course, that didn't mean he or someone else wouldn't blink in again.
