So, I know Wicca and witchcraft aren't necessarily the same thing, and as I've said before, I know that Catholic witches are a thing. How would that work, exactly? Wicca and Catholicism are both religions, while witchcraft is just that: a craft. Theoretically, you could combine it with any religion. Not all Wiccans are witches, not all pagans are witches, and witches can even be atheist. If a Catholic or Christian wants to get involved in witchcraft, that's their decision to make as many view it as against their religion. It's what you make of the Bible/other religious texts, not what others say imo.

Sorry for not being cleaer. ^^" I do agree with the other stuff you've said, though.

Hmm...I'm not sure if I believe in anything specifically. But we do have some bibles in our home. And I've been told not to use sprit boards(if that's what they're called).

i'm a christian lately ive been kind of questioning things though. i still believe in God and that he died on the cross and yeah, but some rules and things seem sort of dumb, like i don't think homosexuality is a sin. i'm afraid to say that out loud though because my dad will probably try to explain it to me but i don't want him to

hey I'm curious if their is a god known for uniting the oceans or something. I think just about any ocean God/dess could fall under that character in a metaphorical sense, as far as literally uniting the oceans in a story nobody comes to mind off the top of my head. Here's some names though, maybe someone will stick out to you and you can research them to see if anybody fits the bill: Nodens (Nudens, Nodons) is a Celtic deity associated with healing, the sea, hunting and dogs. Nu (Nun) is the deification of the primordial watery abyss in ancient Egyptian religion. Ahti (Ahto) god of the depths and fish in Finnish religion. Poseidon, Olympian God of the Oceans and king of the sea gods; also god of rivers, storms, flood and drought, earthquakes, and horses. He controlled every aspect of the seas. His Roman equivalent is Neptune, king of the sea.Tiamat, Mesopotamian goddess of salt water and chaos, also mother of all gods Njörðr (Njord) Norse god of the sea, particularly of seafaring Veles, Slavicgod of earth, waters, and the underworld There are also the four dragon kings/gods of the four seas of Chinese religion/mythology, if you want to go research them too. DISCLAIMER: I just kind of skimmed the internet for these, the only one I know jack about is Tiamat lol. Sorry if something here is incorrect!

Thank you for the names. I feel close to the greek/roman pantheon because it has been with me throughout my life so I'm thinking its Poseidon it was what first came to mind when waking up but I wasn't sure. Thank you for the names though but seeing them all helped solidify my thinking its Poseidon since it seems to resonate with me somehow

ive read on this thread that you have connected to your patrons through your dreams, what were those dreams like for you?

Hmm, that's a tough question to answer. the short version is, they just feel different from your average meaningless dream. You can feel that there's something bigger trying to contact you. it's pretty tough to describe, if you have one you'll know it.

I think I know what you mean. Usually I forget my dreams soon after I wake up but the one I had last night seemed more vivid and is still fresh in my mind. It was really interesting and I felt lighter after I had it. I just wanted to see if what I experienced was similar

Oh I'm glad this showed up again! I was thinking: I often have things around me in groups of three, kind of in a pattern like Orion's Belt (the constellation)? Could that mean anything, be a deity or spirit? it's been happening for years now, and I've never really understood why.

It was insanely strict in comparison to other sites. I pretty much abandoned it as I grew up and discovered websites that didn't have censorship. I mean, I get that there were kids on there and they wanted to protect them (protect themselves from liability, more likely), but you weren't allowed to even mention homosexuality, religion, politics, and other stuff. This thread and the Christian thread would both have been insta-deleted there.
