Finley Ackerman ; they/them ; June 5th (Gemini) Finley is pretty tall -- around 5’11” and while they definitely have height they are nowhere near intimidating. Even with a more typically masculine build with wider shoulders the whole feeling they give off is soft. Up until their sophomore year they were more stocky and shorter before they suddenly hit a huge growth spurt. Now in their junior year they became more health orientated, most recently turning to being vegetarian. Finley’s on the tanner side, coming from a mixed family with a Hispanic mom. Their hair is sort of shaggy and can look a bit ratty with the curls and thickness but it cleans up nice when they pull it into a small ponytail. Their hair is a dark brown, nearly black, and their eyes are brown with flecks of green, leaving them with slight heterochromia. They have a splash of freckles over their cheeks but they’re easy to miss if you’re not really looking closely. Since birth, Finley has been missing their left leg from the knee down and has opted for a prosthetic over a wheelchair, they just prefer to not feel like they burdened people by needing help with a chair. Finley just loves to love. They're incredibly sweet and love all things soft, leaving them shy and prone to stay quiet in conversation. They never want to lash out or hurt anyone. Being the quiet type no one really noticed them, until they landed a spot in the popular crowd for amazing forgery skills.

[ here's a short little description of him sorry if it's meh, I usually develop characters through rp and just have a baseline idea for them Cody Brent | Male, Bisexual Cody’s an average guy all around, he’s average height and weight, if on the slim side. Despite playing soccer and practicing religiously, he doesn’t have much muscle definition compared to others. He tends to be more of a wallflower, rarely talking much or going out of his way to approach someone. He’s deeply loyal to those he likes(which are few in number) and greatly dislikes people who lie or are dishonest. He's easy to befriend as he has a fairly easy going nature, but is slow to fall in love. He can get along with most anyone, but he never compromises his morals. He's argumentative and isn't afraid to challenge others. Cody’s a fairly sarcastic guy, his sense of humor usually standing on the dry side. He has messy dark brown curly hair that curls over his ears and warm dark brown eyes. He has olive skin with groupings of freckles on his nose, arms, and legs. ]

Yet again Finley found themselves facing the school's doors, the late Summer sun hot on the back of their neck. Bustle surrounded them, kids hugging or shoving or kissing. There weren't many people that they could see themselves greeting as they climbed the stairs a bit haphazardly. Stumbling some on their prosthetic they moved around a group of sophomores huddled in the middle of the stairs.
As they stepped through the front doors they lost the soft breeze, left with the thick, warm air inside the school. The lack of air conditioning was a bit annoying but they shrugged it off, unwilling to be bothered at the time. Height let them see over most kids, keeping an eye out for their closest and really..only friend. A dorky, wheelchair bound teen in their grade, Pax Clark. Originally the two got to know each other through common ground, two kids one missing one leg and the other missing both since very young ages. While they loved Pax they couldn't help but dream of being part of the in crowd, top of the pack. No one would ever bother them again if they could only spend one lunch together.
The halls were full of kids, old faces and new. The first day of school meant it was time to play the game of "did they just move here" or "are they a freshman". Typically it wasn't too hard, the freshman were typically baby-faced with wide eyes while transfer students -- unless they were freshman -- just looked like they had everything a bit more together. But you couldn't always get it right. Lost in their thoughts they didn't notice someone in their way until it was too late -- their shoulders clipping, the force almost knocking Finley over. "Oh -- sorry!"

Cody had been in a smaller school before coming to this one. A private school with probably only six hundred kids and little to no sports. He'd always played soccer, ever since peewee soccer camp. That was the only thing he was looking forward to that day, was talking to the soccer coach. Everything else came in second, especially his classes. Which none of them he wanted, he'd signed up late and the school apologized to him saying there was nothing they could do, that he had to endure whatever they could squeeze him into. Which was why he was in an art class when he could flip a pancake, and in a cooking class when he could... well barely flip a pancake. First impressions weren't going so well, he hadn't even reached first period and people were staring at him. It was as if he'd grown a third head or something-- well two heads that is, but he certainly hadn't! He was a perfectly normal guy with no defining features(save for his annoying curly hair), yet everyone was staring at him as if he had 'loser' tattooed on his forehead. He heard whispers of 'is that guy new?' and 'is he from around here?' as he passed, and he couldn't help but grow irritated. He was a hard guy to rattle, at least he liked to think. But this all had him shaken.
Cody jumped slightly in surprise as someone knocked into him. He turned and saw them stumble. He immediately opened his mouth to apologize, but they had already stolen his words. He offered them a small apologetic smile. "It's probably my fault, I wasn't paying attention." He paused for a moment, considering introducing himself. Was that weird? Did people do that here, just talk to strangers? He'd heard of cliques and the likes, but there weren't many at his previous school. Maybe this person wasn't even remotely interested in his name, he didn't want to force it on them.

If Finley told Pax that they totally believed in love at first sight now they would make fun of them for the next year. Well. Maybe love was an exaggeration but as they caught their balance and raised their eyes to look at the kid they definitely felt winded. A hand moved the brush bangs away from their eyes and a grin tugged at their lips. "Oh I -- uh. Are you new here? I've never seen you before," they stumbled through their words, mentally cursing themselves. They were seventeen now, not a twelve year old with a crush. This wasn't the first time they'd ran into a cute boy so this whole reaction was a bit silly.
Within seconds they'd already mapped out his face, they didn't even know his name! But they definitely could tell you he had very pretty eyes. A blush fell over their face, heat building on their ears. Silently Finley mentally thanked their mom for the tanner complexion they'd inherited, it definitely made blushes less noticeable. Especially with a Summer's tan.
Kids had begun to swerve around them, making their way through the hall. A few kids tossed them glares, though probably just for blocking the way. But Finley could not care at all -- besides, they were a junior, they definitely didn't care if an underclassman was annoyed by them.

[ aww Finley <3 ] Cody's smile fell slightly for a second, but he quickly regained. "Is it that obvious?" he asked with a small chuckle. He ran a hand through his hair nervously. He didn't want to mess this up, they seemed nice so far, even though they'd almost fallen. This could even potentially be his first friend in the school!
"Yeah, I moved here a few weeks ago," Cody added anxiously. "I'm uh-- I'm Cody." He silently prayed to any and every god that he was going to fit in, that this pleasant interaction was a sign moving to a new state wasn't a mistake, that there was potential for him to build a new life. Either way, he'd half to deal with it. He'd rather figure out his place and try and fit in best he could.
He noticed people glaring as they passed by and he felt a little sheepish, he hadn't meant to cause a road block. In his old school it didn't matter at all, there was plenty of room for everyone. Here? It was almost the complete opposite. It was surprising to see underclassmen glaring at him, he probably had a foot on most of them. He was sixteen finally, with keys to a car and a licence to prove he was somewhat of an adult.

(i love finley lol. sorta meshing them with musical and movie veronica.)
"Well -- there's not too many people here, you kinda notice a new kid." Finley almost had an apologetic air, they hadn't meant to make it seem like he was entirely singled out. Well -- he kinda was but that wasn't really the point. Either way they gave a small smile, shifting their bag on their back as they looked at the kid.
"I'm Finley. It's not..too bad here. I mean it's high school but if you lay low you're usually fine. Or if you're on top and people love you. Just don't make a target out of yourself," their expression changed a bit, eyebrows drawing in more sadly as they kept their slight smile. "You'll probably be fine in a couple weeks, I wouldn't worry too much."
The bell trilled, making Finley jump a bit. Realizing this a heavy blush fell over their cheeks and they had a mildly mortified look. Pausing they wondered if they should say something else -- would they have any classes together? What if they didn't see this kid again for like..days! This just left them standing in the middle of the hall, not walking to class, and just looking at Cody.

"That's reassuring," Cody said with a smile. "So I guess that means there's a social hierarchy of some kind?" Cody asked. He noticed their expression shift into what he thought was almost sadness despite the smile, but it was gone the second the bell rang. He didn't inquire about it and decided to brush it off. It was high school, anyone was bound to be sad to be in school.
He noticed a slight tint to their cheeks and the corners of his lips quirked down for a moment. Were they embarrased? He wondered briefly. He hadn't realized the bell had rang, the sound was softer than the ones he was used to. He glanced around at the kids scrambling to get away. He wasn't quite ready to leave, he felt drawn to Finley. More than that, he felt comfortable by them. They were reassuring, a lighthouse in a storm.
"I-- uh..." Cody said lamely, trying to wrack his mind for an excuse or something to stay for a moment longer. Truth be told, he didn't know where he was going. "Are you a junior? Maybe we'll have a class together-" he stopped upon hearing a door close nearby.

(you want to have some background characters to be the heathers? we could each rp one or two maybe?)
"Yeah..kinda. You'll know the popular kids when you see 'em." Finley gave a sort of half shrug. Award for understatement of the year. There was definitely a pretty rough social hierarchy. But as long as Cody steered clear of bugging football players he'd probably be fine. Besides, they were juniors, two years was all there was left. Even if he stirred up some trouble he wouldn't have to face it for too much longer. Assuming he didn't move away from this town.
"Yeah, I'm a junior. We might. Depends on what types of classes you're taking." Every piece of them was willing them to wrap it up and get off to class. Were they really willing to get a late on the first day of school? They answered that for themselves when they hung around for a few more moments to hear an answer, swaying where they stood, ready to take off down the hall as soon as it would be okay to break the conversation.
"There's always lunch," Finley added as they finally let their legs begin to carry them off towards glance, turning their head to flash Cody a smile as they left. Hand raised in a quick wave before they grabbed their backpack straps and picked up the pace. Moving a bit faster accentuated the strangeness of their gait, the slight limp they had from their prosthetic leg.

[ sure! do you want them to be the same people or just the same idea?] "Oh." Cody wasn't sure how else to reply to that, he wasn't thrilled to hear that. Having a group of popular kids was always annoying, especially if you had classes with them. He just hoped that they were nice, some were at his old school. If they weren't, he could deal with it. Probably couldn't keep his mouth shut, but that was normal.
He nodded, excited to hear they were a junior. That at least had the possibility they'd have one or two together. He glanced down the hall, realizing it was nearly barren now. He tried to convince himself it was fine to be late, that he could easily say he was just lost.
"Yeah," Cody said lamely, nodding in agreement. Lunch. He could find them at lunch, as long as the lunches weren't split. He watched as they left, wishing he'd said more. He wasn't quite able to muster out anything and simply sighed. He was about to turn away when they smiled. He returned the wave eagerly, and turned on his heel to leave. His gaze stayed on them for a moment as he noticed something strange in the way they stepped. Then he noticed it, a prosthetic leg. He was very glad he hadn't noticed it early, he didn't want to seem rude and be as stunned as he was then. He'd only seen a prosthetic a couple times before, but never on someone that young. He instantly felt guilty for keeping them, now they had to hurry.
Wait, is that rude? He wondered, pondering on that. He knew his grandpa hated it whenever someone apologized to him for not helping with his wheelchair, or keeping him waiting. He sighed, running a hand through his hair. He hadn't noticed the teacher walking towards him until they coughed. He froze instantly.
The teacher ushered him off to class, and after getting directions he headed there. It was in the opposite direction of Finley. They didn't have first period together. That thought hung in his stomach like a rock, but he somehow managed to pay attention to the class.

(maybe not the heathers but like? a trio. they dont have to have the same name but they could. then maybe we can have like two background jocks too? how close to heathers do we want this? are the murders gonna happen? sorry this is shorter but this could be where finley gets into the popular crowd if were taking that path? i always use ocs i already have so maybe my oc riley could be one of the popular trio? maybe in place of heather chandler or duke?)
The first few classes of Finley's day were impossibly long. English was boring, going over a boring syllabus, listening to a boring teacher. They'd never been one to overly criticize classes but now they had something to look forward to past their classes. They also nearly fell asleep a few times, leaning their chin heavily on their hand.
After first period they found themselves passing the bathrooms, they'd dawdled, hoping to catch a glimpse of the new kid. Though he was nowhere to be seen. Since they had already made themselves late they decided to stop into the bathrooms, hearing some familiar voices inside. What was it with popular kids just hanging out in bathrooms? They weren't fun.

[ hmm alright, I'm not 100% familiar with the plot of it so it's up to you, I can also take one of the trio and a jock? I don't particularly mind either way I'll just reply with something with Cody so I can get a few ocs straight cx ] Cody hadn't seen Finley in any of their classes. Not in culinary, not in art, and not in math. They didn't do anything interesting in any of his classes, it was just the basic rundown of 'don't goof off, be good and keep your head down'. Cody didn't need to hear it over and over and over, and he quickly found himself zoning out. He'd met a few new people, not that peaked his interest quite like Finley. He hadn't ran into the popular kids yet, or if he had he didn't know. People were generally nice enough, most at least.
Cody was bored of this, and ready for lunch. He'd taken up enough time during periods between classes trying to find the classrom, let alone look around for Finley. He kept an eye out just in case, but he had no such luck.

(how much of the plot do you know? the smaller stuff we can alter. are you familiar with the whole like death of the main heather and the two jocks? and okay my two for the trio will be Riley and Enzo. Maybe if you want to read a plot summary you can get more of the gist? And we can go from there. I'm thinking Riley maybe as Heather Chandler the main one and Enzo as Heather Duke? They both use they/them too! this part can just be finley getting into the in crowd by being able to do good forgery which is plot important. o: hope thats okay! i can post mini desc of those two if you want to visualize them! as for a jock i have a few ocs i could use. sorry if im blabbering a lot i love heathers.)
Finley washed their hands quick, keeping their eyes down and pointedly not looking at the most popular trio in the school. Riley stood next to them, looking in the mirror as they applied a dark lipstick. A teacher poked their head in, sighing when they were met with the normal scene of the trio ducking out of class. As they started to get a talking to Finley scrambled with some paper scrap from their bag and a pen from their pencil case. Behind the teacher's back they scribbled out a hall pass, using one from the previous year as a reference.
"Um -- sorry, we're all actually out on a hall pass," Finley interrupted the teacher shyly, who narrowed their eyes, looking between the pass, Finley, and the trio. With a sigh they headed back out of the bathroom, "get to where you're going."
Riley gave Finley an impressed look before turning their head to look back at the two other teen's of their group. Enzo looked back with a half shrug. "This is an outstanding forgery," Riley finally spoke, hands on their hips.

[ I know like the general story, but I don't mind looking over more if it's needed :"3 would you want Finley and Cody to poison them ? I'm cool with having Cody go all psycho and follow that plot line if you want, I'll just need to start characterization on that I'll have my member of the trio be Briar Summers, and I'm planning on having her generally alright but just likes to start stuff if that sounds good? ]

(yeah! so yeah they could poison riley and then the jocks death comes later. as for that character she sounds good! she could be like heather m who ends up being friends with veronica in the end so her and finley could end up as friends. we can also alter this and at the end cody doesnt have to die and we can have plot of them getting back to a normal life?)

[ alright c: that sounds good to me! ] Blair had frozen the moment the teacher spoke and tried to force out some sort of lie. Before she could come up with anything good, someone else spoke. She hadn't realized there was another person in the restroom. Or perhaps she had, but had just pushed it to the back of her mind. She exchanged a look with Enzo and Riley as the teacher left.
Blair bobbed her head in agreement with Riley, her eyes scanning the forgery before moving back to Finley. She hadn't known this kid, they didn't seem like the type they'd usually get to do forgeries. In fact they were sort of cute, in the way a wrinkled shirt looks good but still needs ironing. She kept quiet, not wanting to step on Riley's toes. Blair counted herself lucky to be in this group, and there was no way she was messing it up for a nobody. [ sorry this has literally no dialog xD I'm trying to get a feel for Blair still ]

(youre fine!! its good to get some stuff ironed out. i dont wanna step on your toe either so im trying not to dominate this too much right now sorry if i am also doing some direct quotes from the musical lol)
Riley broke eye contact with Blair before not so subtly giving Finley a once over. "I uh..I crave a boon," Finely started before Riley could open their mouth again. The tall teen looked at the three in front of them, hands clasped nervously in front of them.
"I'd like to sit at your lunch table. We don't even have to talk..but if I was seen with you people wouldn't bother me --" Finley's gaze moved between the three, looking from Riley to Enzo to Blair. " -- before you answer I can do more than passes: report cards..absence notes..and permission slips!" There was an eager air to them, they licked their lips nervously.
As the self-proclaimed leader Riley knew they'd get the last say but they still turned a bit, a sort of conference with Enzo and Blair. Enzo gave a half shrug, now preoccupied with observing themself in the mirror. Rolling their eyes Riley turned to meet eyes with Blair, giving her a questioning look.

[ nah it's cool c'x i honestly wouldn't tell if you did xD there are very few things I remember from the snippets I've watched, so far i've seen mainly animatics for songs the most ]
Blair was stunned into silence by Finley's proclamation. She wanted to sit with them? That was it? She frowned slightly, considering it as Riley turned to conference with her and Enzo. She shrugged. "I don't see what harm it will do," Blair whispered.
She would be glad if Finley actually joined them, Blair was at the bottom of their small trio's peckign order. If a new person came in, she'd be bumped up one and wouldn't be asked to do so many tasks, such as getting coffee for everyone or having to find someone to change a grade. This really couldn't go wrong for her... as long as Finely was nice. They seemed nice enough, the few classes they'd had together she hadn't heard much from them. That had to be a good sign.
"It could work out really well, we won't have to use burnouts for that anymore." She was careful to not push her opinion to hard, not wanting to seem like she was trying to act like a leader.

(the animatics are all great. ive watched the full musical like?? 4 times? and do you want to stick with the heathers actual plot a bit more like cody gets in a fight with the jocks at lunch and finleys like?? omg i want him to fight for me)
Riley gave Blair a nod, turning to fix Finley with their hard stare. There was something about impeccable eyeliner and dark lipstick that was..pretty scary. And Riley nailed the look well. "I think we can do that..but we'll have to doll you up a bit. Pull back that hair..a bit of eyeliner, some lipstick. You'll be looking the part in no time. For a nobody you have great cheekbones," Riley rested a hand on their hip, a smirk curling over their lips.
"Blair, start on their hair. It looks so shaggy and messy like that," with almost a sneer Riley turned on their heel to meet Blair's eyes again. With purpose they stepped away from Finley, to the sink where their makeup bag rested. Picking through lipstick colors they furrowed their brows, trying to pick a shade that could compliment Finley's look.
While Finley's nerves were definitely high a grin fell over their face briefly. They tried to keep the smile toned down after a few moments, not wanting to come across as weird to the three teens before them. Enzo was picking out eyeliner and mascara while Riley pondered over lipstick. Finley hadn't really been huge on makeup in the past, they'd wear it but they tended to keep it subtle. But they didn't bother complaining, what harm could be done?

[ my favorite so far are galactibunny's i've watched their candy store like a hundred times that sounds good to me c: I can post with cody in a second where he meets the jocks and maybe start some sort of tension leading up to the fight ]
Blair nodded eagerly and immediately began to attack Finley's hair. Her own hair was naturally curly, it was quite annoying. She spent plenty of time in the morning getting it to lie flat and not be nearly as crazy. Hair was her specialty, she'd spent enough years fighting it that she had a routine down pat. It was harder now that Finley hadn't used proper conditioners and shampoos (if they used any at all). She grew frustrated with it early on, but hadn't given up. She pulled out a dry shampoo and used it. Which seemed to help quite a bit.
She noticed Finley's smile in the mirror and couldn't help but smile as well. How lucky were they? Riley wanted them to not only sit with them, but join them! This was an exciting day for them all, for the entire school! One new popular girl? That was going to be the top gossip for the day, it certainly would blow news of a new kid right out of the water.
"You're going to look great!" Blair said excitedly. "We can help teach you the ropes, and soon everyone will want to be you!"

( oh yeah i love their stuff! for my jock itll probably be my oc Dominique just so you know his name. if you want mini descriptions of any of my side characters let me know bc i have them on hand! c: )
At Blair's words Finley cracked a wide smile again, "wow --" but soon they were swept up by Enzo and Riley who flashed each other a look as they both got to work. Having been born male the two popular kids had more masculine features and were used to applying makeup in ways that suited their faces while also letting themselves express how they wanted to look to amazing degrees. Finley's harder jawline and more square frame were exactly what the two were used to working with. While Enzo kept themself busy trying not to poke Finley's eyes with eyeliner and soon after, mascara Riley was also busy. The self-proclaimed leader applied a bold lipstick color before setting about applying some foundation and highlighter, making Finley almost glow.
Stepping back they admired their work. Between their hair being tamed and the makeup that accentuated the prettiest features of their face they looked stunning. At the lunch bell Finley practically jumped -- they'd never made it back to class. But that didn't matter much anymore. Turning on their heel Riley stopped to grab their backpack, Enzo following after as they stepped out of the bathroom. Finley scrambled for their bag and stood by Blair, still a bit in awe of everything.

[ alright! If you wouldn't mind that'll be good! I can post a little description in a second, I just need to figure out my jock ]
Blair beamed at Finley, pleased with their transformation. She stood, hands behind her back and leaning forward slightly as Finley picked up their bag. "What do you think?" Blair hummed. She thought Finley looked fantastic, considering how they'd looked before. She was very excited to teach Finley the ropes of everything. Finley seemed fairly nice too, they could possibly even be friends.
Cody's day had progressively gotten worse since Finley had left. It seemed they'd left his life forever as he went to his last period before lunch to see they still weren't there. Cody had been glowering for most of the day, they hadn't met anyone nearly as nice. Everyone seemed to have a double motive, the only person that hadn't, a pretty girl in his science class that had smiled at him, had ended up being more trouble than she was worth.
He knew something was up the moment she started flirting with him, there was just something in her eye. He'd figured it out once the guy across the room approached him after the period. Apparently they were broken up, but it was obvious at least to Cody that they both still had feelings. After having a lively debate where he tossed around many swears while the teacher was out of the room, the guy (Robby as he soon learned was his name) planned on teaching him a 'lesson' during lunch. Cody hadn't thought too much about it until he saw Robby again in the lunch room while he was trying to find Finley that he grew worried. There was someone else with them.
[ idk about Cody's bit but I think it works if that's how they get in a fight ?? Should Robby be like head jock or side jock? ]

(okay ill post mini descriptions in a post after this! you can take head jock since i have the head popular kid. and that works fine for setup!)
"It's great," Finley said softly to Blair, feeling much lighter as they walked through the hall to lunch now. They were untouchable. As the group walked into the lunchroom heads were turning. The first bit of guilt they felt was when Pax gave them a confused look -- but they must be happy for Finley right? This was the dream! It wasn't like they had to be rivals now.
Riley led the group to the front of the line, letting them all get their lunch quickly before they headed to their usual table. "I think Finley here could help us pull a fun little prank on someone. Which little nobody do you think should be next for this? I was thinking, a foraged note from the star football player, an invitation to tonight's party?" There was a fire in Riley's eye and they smirked as they picked at their lunch before looking to Blair and Enzo for input. There was a bit of worry starting a pit in Finley's stomach but..how could they oppose Riley? No one dared do that ever.
As this discussion was happening Finley had started to tune out, finally taking a breath and looking around the room. They caught the eye of plenty of other students, feeling a bit shy now in the face of all this attention. But when they finally saw Cody a smile grew on their face.

Riley ; they/them Riley comes from a mixed family, inheriting a slightly tan complexion. They wear contacts in place of glasses and bleach their naturally brown hair to be a blond color. They have a mess of freckles they usually cover with foundation and their hair is thick and wavy and cut very short, a typically male haircut.
Enzo ; they/them Enzo is a bit on the taller side and a bit lankier, they’re not very strong at all. Their family is hispanic, leaving them with a tanner skin tone and black hair. They have a short, typically male-read haircut. Enzo has darker hazel eyes, too. They can be rude but it’s typically in a more annoying, teasing way, like a seven year old bully.
Dominique ; he/him Dominique is definitely tall and very conscious about working out. He has a tanner complexion and dark eyes. His hair is very thick and has a curl to it and is a dark brown. Being on the football team definitely inflated his ego and he steps on other's toes a lot, making stuff about him.

Blair beamed at Finley and skipped towards the lunch room. She nodded in agreement with Riley. She began to list off a couple of nobody that were perfect candidates for this prank. At one point in time these sorts of pranks made Blair nervous, she was a people pleaser that hated it when someone well, hated her. She’d found that no one ended up blaming her, that most people immediately blamed Riley. She noticed Finley wasn’t paying much attention, but decided that they needed a moment to get used to the attention.
Cody hadn’t given the guy in his science class another thought, not until he saw him following him. Cody had been the target of bullies before, and had a knack for escaping. After a few times of disappearing, Robby’s attention would go somewhere else. Except it didn’t. After dodging around people and trying to sneak off into the hallway, his luck finally ran out and Robby stood imposingly in front of him. Cody wasn’t a big guy, nor was he a small guy. He was settled right in the middle, being tall but lacking muscle. Robby had little to no height on him, but he got the feeling this guy worked out much more than him. His gaze flickered to his lackey for a moment, before fixating back on Robby with a cold stare. ”Pardon me,” He said thinly. Robby blocked his way again and Cody sighed, realizing there was no escape. “You’re new here, aren’t ya?” Robby drawled in a thick north eastern U.S. accent. Cody shrugged. “Well let me give ya a tip, don’t walk around like you own these halls. I’ll give ya two options here, you can join me and Dominique for lunch and we can work out an agreement, maybe you’re one of us-“ Cody rolled his eyes and fire lit up in Robby’s eyes. “Guess that means you want option two,” he said cracking his knuckles menacingly. Cody had learned that most bullies or tall guys were all intimidation. So he wasn’t afraid. Then Robby hit him and his bravado stumbled. He swore, but managed to stay on his feet. He wasn’t proud of what next, but he did hti back. Something he usually considered himself above, but he supposed this was a special case considering the day he’d had.

(ive been playing my nintendo switch a bunch plus i saw hamilton yesterday and have been busy so youre fine! also in the musical the two jocks are framed as being secretly gay but maybe if you want to add more plot maybe they could actually both like each other but try to ignore it or something?)
Riley smirked a bit, turning in their seat to look around the lunch room. Leaning in towards Enzo and Blair they lowered their voice -- who better to trick than Finley's good friend. But they had to be quiet, otherwise the new addition would never agree to go along with it. But they were in their own little world, focused on a small group of kids who were heading out to the hallway. The crowd wasn't large enough to get teacher attention yet -- plenty of kids left lunch early.
"I was thinking Pax," Riley finally said, a cold smirk crossing their lips as they glanced between Enzo and Blair. They already grabbed a pencil and sheet of paper from their bag, digging out an old note they'd gotten from Robby sophomore year -- being the top dog meant you had all sorts of notes and handwriting examples.
Finley leaned in their seat, picking at French fries, trying to see what was drawing kids out of the lunch room. Trying to finish off their fries quick they were sure they could slip away from the trio to check it out in a minute.

Dominique was basically a glorified hype man, with the "yeah"s and "what he said"s and everything. Mostly he stood with arms crossed to Robby's side, eyes narrowed, something akin to a snarl on his face.
Maybe it wasn't a good idea to fight a guy when they had no idea about his strengths or who he was but he followed Robby's lead. Winding up a punch he went to move in once his friend had gotten hit.
