@borderline - omg so true. I always get lost without one, at least for myself to look back on.
ᴄᴇʟʟɪsᴛ - the struggle of timezones is a real one omg that's absolutely fine! I'll take Muse B without a problem. I didn't write the plot with romance as a definite subplot as I prefer to keep that up in the air and see if it develops or not, but on the off chance that you want it to develop and it does, do you have a preference when it comes to pairing?

wildsong🎧 - aahh, alright! don't worry about it, I got it in the end. anyway, I really like that. it's a nice twist on it. we could even make powers be more or less commonplace, rare but accepted and definitely not unheard of.

@borderline - right, yeah! I usually boil personality down to a few keywords and let the rest of it be general appearance and habits to keep in mind when I write. ooo, if you could that would be great!

(Oh lordy, he's beautiful and precious and I want~ XD)
Rei expected this to end like most other fights did. They narrowed their eyes for a moment before slowly walking into the cage while stretching their arms, and causing their portion of the cage to be coated with ice just for the sake of entertainment. As they looked up, a smirk came to their lips at the sight of their opponent. A fire user? Could they really not be any more original? Oh well, maybe they were at a slight disadvantage. It really was no matter to them. As long as the fight put up a good show, there would be some form of payment.
With a laugh, Rei threw the first punch, which sent a bolt of ice towards the man, who easily melted it, but got a face full of water. Perfect. They grinned before coating their arms and legs with a form of ice-armor, and charged in to swing a kick at the guy, only to get their leg caught, and burned at the feeling of fire. They let out a yell of pain while scrambling to get away from them. Ugh, and here Rei thought that maybe they could get a decent night of sleep. They growled before using their other leg to kick the guy in the face, then moved to the opposite side of the cage before getting really ticked.
More kicks and punches sent ice at the fire user, and they were yelling all the same. If anything, they were trying their best to make sure this guy never came around again. But the man moved in nevertheless and punched them in the face, making them fall to the floor so he could pin them there. Rei proceeded to swear and cuss violently in Spanish since they were small as it was, and struggling to use their powers. But this guy was radiating heat, which was making them uneasy and nauseous.

[ The struggle is absolutely terrifyingly real. Gahh why can't timezones just be united as one ;v; Oh! I'm totally fine either way with or without romance, actually -- I know that a planned one usually ends up looking kind of forced :/ I'm not too picky with the pairing, really >< I do prefer to rp guys but if you feel much more comfortable with FxF, I'd be more than happy to go with that cx ]

Mackensie Peterson // 17 // god parent: Hermes Mackensie can be characterised as boisterous, exuberant, unorthodox, etc. etc. He inherited his mother's tic, as his left eye commonly twitches when he's excited or frustrated. Though he responds best to competition and is not afraid to ask for assistance. He is extremely stubborn and can forget some concepts that he himself noted earlier if he is too emotional. Mackensie is aware of his faults, and admits he acts strong to mask his embarrassment and frustration about them. Despite his hotheadedness, Mackensie can be quite observant, picking up on things others miss and retaining information casually gathered through conversation.
Growing up as an orphan who suffered years of social isolation has influenced Mackensie's character in a number of ways: he is heedless to formality and social standings, addressing certain people with nicknames instead of honorifics; he didn't understand the real meaning of "love" and believes that loving and/or being loved by someone and loving food are both the same. Despite his quirks and the criticism they earn him, Mackensie is said to have a personality that draws people to him, inspiring friendship and loyalty through acts of genuine kindness that could change a person's world view.
Mackensie carries a wrist watch with him at all times. This watch is rather peculiar as it has only one 'hand' thus not being able to tell the time. Mackensie actually uses the watch as a weapon, as it was a gift to him by his father Hermes, who totally didn't steal it from Hephaestus by the way. Well he doesn't exactly use the watch itself, instead he turns the crown, much like how you would when changing the time on a real watch, and the hour hand spins, randomly stopping on a number. Depending on what the number is, Mackensie get's a different weapon, meaning he has twelve total weapons at his disposal, all of which he is lethal with. The weapons his watch can turn into are as follows: 1 o'clock is a large warhammer, 2 o'clock is an ornate Gunbai fan, 3 o'clock is an intricate sickle with a ball and chain attached 4 o'clock is a xiphos and hoplon, 5 o'clock is a large scythe, 6 o'clock is a bow and arrow, 7 o'clock is a pair of sharp daggers, 8 o'clock is a flanged mace, 9 o'clock is a winged spear, 10 o'clock is a quarterstaff, 11 o'clock is a kopis sword, while 12 o'clock is pretty much just Greek fire Molotov cocktails. There are two drawbacks when it comes to using his watch. The first being he can only use one weapon at a time for a maximum of one hour. The other being that it creates a great deal of energy to manifest the weapons from the watch as it also requires the users willpower and strength to manifest.
Mackensie is of average height, standing at 5'11" and weighing in at 190 pounds. He runs often, which is to be expected of a son of Hermes, and it definitely shows. He's got a muscular lower body with big calfs, as well as a tan that shows off how much time he spends outdoors. He does spend a lot of time training his upper body as he does a lot of combat training, whether it be hand to hand or with weapons. This being said, he isn't a gym rat but he is very much in shape.
Mackensie has medium length dark brown colored hair that, with a bit of help from hair gel, he keeps swept back off of his face. His eyes are a common dark brown in color and are asymmetrical in shape. His hands are littered with scars, as he has plenty on his knuckles thanks to all of the fights he got into when he was younger. He also has a light layer of facial hair on the lower halves of his cheek bones, on his neck, his jawline, above his upper lip and around his mouth.
I hope you don't mind I stole your format ^^'

( haha, he's precious. I haven't used him in so long and now that I'm about to write with him again I 100% regret that. )
So in hindsight, maybe storming a cage fight wasn't exactly a good idea. But what could Eamon say, he was a dramatic guy, he needed some drama once in a while. And the last few days had all been the same, he needed to spice it up before things started dragging out and he became a regular man working a nine to five job that he hated. So, in the moment, he'd decided that this would do.
He walked into the building peacefully enough. The positive thing about his powers was that he could use them without drawing attention to himself, so that's what he did. One by one, objects around the room started to shift. Other than the focused look on Eamon's face and the occasional twitching of his hand, there was no way to see he was doing this. And in a crowded room like this one, nobody was paying attention to the guy who looked way too invested in the fight.
Maybe, he reasoned as he focused on a water-bottle in some guy's hand and clenched his fist, splashing water into the man's face, if the fight had been more entertaining he could let that be it. Maybe even ask to fight in one himself. That would be interesting. But no, the fight featured the oh-so-creative match-up of a fire-user and an ice-user, and Eamon had seen that a dozen times before.
That was when he felt a hand on his shoulder, spinning him so that he was face to face with the bulky man it belonged to. "Quit messing around," the guy demanded. "Nobody here came to be subjected to some awkward display of powers."
Eamon forced a smile. "What are you talking about?" he asked, feigning innocence. Unfortunately for him, the other man didn't buy it and before he knew it, a fist was flying towards his face. It caught his jaw and sent him reeling, and by the time he caught himself and then the man with a telekinetic grip around his throat, the rest of the room was starting fights, too. Things like that moved quickly in a place like this. All it took was one person accusing another, and soon everyone were accusing everyone.

Bluespur - not at all! I think I'll make them greek, just because I already have a character I'd like to use. I absolutely don't mind if you keep him greek, though, that should work just as well.
ᴄᴇʟʟɪsᴛ - right? omg that would make things so much easier I'm just as comfortable with mxf or mxm as I am fxf really, so if you want to play a guy, that's perfectly fine, please do! it might even make more sense given the setting and time-period.

Things like that moved quickly in a place like this. All it took was one person accusing another, and soon everyone were accusing everyone. Rei looked up wildly at the sight of some kind of disruption. "Hey." they growled at the fire-user before wincing. "No one is paying attention anymore, so get off." they snapped at him before they soon grunted a little more while trying to peal themselves off from the guy. At least that didn't take much effort. If anything, they needed to find a way out...or something. They looked around before seeing that there was one guy in particular that seemed to be calm about this. With narrowed eyes, Rei climbed out of the cage and slid down on some ice while landing on the floor. Just what the hell did this guy think he was doing? With an angry huff, Rei punched the air, which was to send ice towards Eamon to get him to step off. There was no way some upstart was going to shake things down. If anything, the government would probably try to pull something like that. The fact that one mutant was able to cause this much, there was something wrong with them. Their pale eyes flickered with energy while they looked over their shoulder to see that some other fighter was making her way at them. Rei didn't even hesitate to kick at their head with their foot coated in ice. If anything, that should help set in some kind of unconscious state. The last thing that was needed was actual blood on their hands. With a huff, Rei stormed over to the upstart in an attempt to take them down. "Hey, you." Probably not the best choice in memorable words. Not like it mattered. "Just what makes you think you have the right to strut in here?" they demanded while baring their teeth angrily. If anything, maybe it would take one good punch to the stomach on this guy to get him to cut it out. Of course Rei didn't take into account that this guy had a good eight inches on them in terms of height. Jesus, what did his parents feed him?! It shouldn't have mattered to them, but it was certainly going to be annoying if this guy thought it was funny to literally size up challengers.

Ice flew towards him and he relaxed his hand in response. The man who's approached him first sagged down as the pressure around his throat ceased. He made himself aware of him, watching him out of the corner of his eye, but his opponent seemed satisfied with this small ice-wielder taking care of him and left in a huff. Eamon took the opportunity to rub at his jaw, cursing the bruise that would bloom there overnight.
Eamon was looking down on them, quite literally. They were small, but angry. If there was one thing that told him, it was that he shouldn't make a condescending comment about their height. That wasn't going to end well for him, and no matter how bad the situation looked right at that moment, there was no point in making it worse. He had quite enough drama as it was, even he had to admit that.
"The door was open," he replied easily, shrugging as though that had been obvious. "Nobody told me I wasn't allowed in." Both were true, for once. It wouldn't have been the first time he unlocked a door with a click of his fingers - a skill he'd developed as a teenager. But today it really had been as easy as pushing a door open and creating havoc. It was entertaining, to say the least. It certainly wasn't boring.
He shrugged again, giving a slight smile, and not a very friendly one. "Looked like I got you out of a bit of a pickle, though. Can't have been comfortable to have that fire-user pinning you down. I can imagine that clash pretty badly with your ice thing."

Damn, that was probably the case with most of the interruptions in the fights. They didn't happen often, but some got lucky enough to find their ways in and start trouble. It was bad enough this guy had to come on in, then they heard gunshots and screaming. Great. Now someone was able to smuggle in an actual weapon? apparently the security didn't do as great of a job. "I had him where I wanted him." they snapped at the comment about the fire opponent, not really wanting to go into much detail about the experience. Fire really shouldn't have been a problem. It was always the heat that made them unable to even try using ice. They didn't know what about it messed them up so much. Rei ducked down, and grabbed the guy by his shirt to make sure that he didn't get shot now that the bangs were getting more frequent. "Dammit..." they muttered before seeing that uniformed authorities were making their way inside. Oh, now this was just great. "You want to get out in one piece? Then our best chance is to stick together." they said quickly before dragging the guy along, trying to keep out of sight as best as they could. Then again, it wasn't like either of them were masters of stealth. The best thing that could come out of this was that maybe they would be able to get out the door.

Cora Riccio // female // 17 // godly parent: Nemesis
o o o Being a daughter of Nemesis, you'd expect Cora to have great respect for the rules and the gods, but she really doesn't. While she's not an out-right rule-breaker, she possesses a laid-back attitude and is a forgiving enough person. She doesn't hesitate to talk back, either. She has inherited her mother's passion for morals, and if she believes something infringes upon those, she'll do whatever she can to show you that. o o o Cora is a bright spirit, she loves to laugh and spends a surprising amount of time messing around. Despite this, she's really not a very funny person herself, and her jokes consist mostly of puns and stale dad jokes. She doesn't care much about that, though, and continues to joke around in her more than slightly awkward way. o o o Despite what her outgoing personality would suggest, Cora is an introvert through and through. Spending a lot of time around others tends to make her grouchy, and she often falls quiet in large groups. Her preferred method of interaction is in pairs or possibly groups of three, as she can both interact and keep from getting drained or overwhelmed quickly.
Cora is just above average height, at 5'6". She has very slight curves, but her figure is more boyish than anything. She holds herself well, good posture being a natural consequence of years spent training. Those same years of training at camp have successfully made her toned and lean, but she has the appearance of someone that fights quickly and not with impressive strength. Cora's facial features are round and soft, from the gentle curves of her jawline to her rounded nose to her eyes, there's not an edge in sight. That, along with her nearly non-existent curves, makes her look far younger than she is, something she both appreciates and wishes was not the case. She wears enough make up to negate this effect, though.
Cora fights with a whip, gifted to her by her mother. She's made adjustments herself, with the help of the Hephaestus cabin, and now it can be snapped into place to form a staff instead. In this form, it is only a few inches shorter than she, and she favours it over the whip as she finds it easier to manometer. However, she can be lethal with both, as well as a sword. Projectiles, however, are strange to her and she avoids them at all costs.
Cora grew up with her father, a Venezuelan man who was often away working to provide for them both, and without a mother. This never bothered her much, she knew that most people had a mother but her dad did just fine on his own. She learned of her heritage early, at six she was told about who her mother was after some curious inquiry. Two years later, she was at Camp every summer before returning home for the school year. After the titan wars, however, she took to becoming a year rounder. Despite the knowledge that her father missed her, she also knows that it's safest for both of them and is nothing if not grateful to the camp for keeping it that way.

The sound of gunshots echoed through the building, quickly followed by high-pitched screaming. Eamon, despite himself, flinched at the sound. Before he could do anything else to respond, though, he was being pulled down to Rei's level, and even further now that she was ducking. He yelped, coughing to cover it up when he realised the sound he'd let escape. He had to resist making a comment about how the last time he'd been this far down was in seventh grade, quite literally bitting his tongue.
"Sure you did," he said instead, mostly to distract himself from the jab that he could still so easily make. He followed them, refusing the respond to their orders. That would mean that he was following them, and not just trying to get out of here alive. He shrugged off her grip, but continued to follow behind her. She likely knew this place far better than he, after all. She was his best bet.
They neared the door, and nobody had been shot yet. That was good. But Eamon felt someone's gaze on him, and when he looked up he saw an official staring right at them. "I think this is the part where we make a run for it," he said, hurrying forwards, still hunched over for the extra protection.

Good to know. They let out a low huff as they moved to the door, then tensed at the sound of the guy's voice. "Dammit." they muttered before raising their hands up to make a decent shield of ice before shoving Eamon. "Go." the snapped while proceeding to follow after him. It was taking a lot of willpower to not swear like a sailor. Then again, no one would have probably known what they were saying unless they were fluent in Spanish anyway. So, they proceeded to cuss away as they ran behind their newfound ally before they turned around to seal the door over in a coat of ice to make it a little hard for any officials to be following them. "You have a car? Or have you been walking?" Rei called over to him as they were scanning the parking lot for a moment or two. A part of them was very tempted to just steal a car for the sake of having enough distance. The best they could do was grab the guy by the back of his shirt and duck down behind one of the cars. "Stealing a car sounds like something up your alley if you can cause enough trouble as it is." they pointed out to him. "Or we can make a break for the woods, it's your call." they added. If Rei was going to have to have this guy as a ally, they knew that they needed to try sharing some team decisions in the first place.

Eamon rushed out of the door, leaving it open for Rei and slamming it shut when they ran out after him. They sealed it with ice and, before Eamon could get to leaving, he was being dragged along again. So much for making his own decisions. But they were right. At least, if they were thinking what he assumed they did. Their chances doubles if they stuck together.
"Stealing a car does sound like something I would do," Eamon allowed. "I just have no idea how." He could crack a door lock just fine, he could even work safes. But he knew how those mechanisms worked. He'd never tried to understand a car lock and what went into it, and he was pretty sure any attempts wouldn't work.
"Unless you know how to hotwire a car, I vote bolt for the woods," he said. Now was not the time to start experimenting with various illegal activities. The gunshots were still sounding from inside, and as he spoke a pounding started against the door.

But of course it had been too much to ask for him to be able to unlock a car. Of all the moving and floating objects... And this guy didn't even know how to unlock a car in the first place. No. They couldn't dwell on that simple thought for too long, then that would just get the both of them into more trouble. "I'm not too savvy in that kind of tech, if we had more time, I'd definitely give it a shot." Rei pointed out before they pat his back, and made a run to the woods. "Come on, slowpoke!" they called over to him, "Use those legs and maybe you'll catch up to me!" they couldn't help but laugh a little at their own height joke. Damn, they knew that they were going to feel the sting of it sooner or later. If anything, making it to the treeline would be their first goal. Maybe then, they could try to actually get their bearings and run some more to hide themselves for a good moment or two. At that point, it would be pretty good to get introductions out of the way.
