Michiko saw his face and immediately felt terrible. "I'm so sorry! I won't judge you. I'm not that normal either, so I don't care if you are different. As long as you aren't dangerous, I don't really care. You are my friend, and I won't just leave over something so simple as a psychic power. I will listen, and I promise that I won't judge you unless I have a legitimate reason," Michiko stuttered out, shaking. She was being honest, she wasn't the type to judge. She would rather accept others for who they were than leave them over something stupid.

He didn't know what to do with her response to his reaction. Well, thought he didn't know what to do with her response. Michiko sounded so sincere, and for a second he truly found himself believing that she wouldn't leave him of her own accord. But only for a second.
It seemed that she wouldn't know, but he'd been labeled. Orion the Royal Assassin, Orion the Iron Fist, and a couple others he couldn't remember. Anybody he hadn't managed to get to banded together and had him exiled from the fae realm for his atrocities. So here he was, among the humans who believed his eyes to be so interesting that he could no longer hold eye contact. But how was she to know that?
Even still, he found that he wanted to tell her. The term friend had him relaxing, but only slightly. "I..." he stopped, unable to form a proper sentence for a moment which was unlike him. "I'm of the fae and I can control metal." His voice was quiet, waiting for some form of ridicule. After all, it was clear she'd been raised human, so he didn't think she'd believe him so easily.
(I know!! It's awesome~)

"Oh." Michiko blinked. "That sounds really farfetched, but you don't seem to be the type to bs, nor have you given me a reason to think you are a liar. I believe you. But why are you here then? Do all fae live among humans?" Michiko's eyes widened in interest. "I'm kinda jealous. Being a fae sounds kind of cool. " She blushed a bit and looked down. Sure, it was a bit weird, but in a way, it was just like learning about a different culture. Michiko had been raised around exchange students, so this was a familiar concept to her. "I'm sorry for asking so many questions, but this is so interesting." She felt her heat beat pick up from excitement and a little bit of nerves.

Listening to her response, Orion turned his gaze to her slowly, watching as interest took her features rather than disbelief. Relief flooded him and he managed to relax, unsure of exactly when he'd become so tense. Did it actually matter if she believed him? Yes. 'No, you have to be rid of her.' But she mattered, right? 'No - this a means to an end.' Something told him not end it, see where it went. Questions piercing his thoughts, he left his little plans for later.
"Thank you," was the first thing out of his mouth. She actually believed in what he said, and she was still here. She hadn't left. "I don't mind the questions," the male added before he set to answer everything she asked.
"No, the fae... we live in a different realm, but I wasn't particularly wanted - I was something of a reject, a mistake, in a way." He paused, eyes glazing over momentarily as he thought back on his family. It wasn't pleasant and he was quick to dismiss the memories, choosing to address her jealousy statement. "You don't have to be jealous. After all you're-" Stopping abruptly, he just looked at her. Sure, she believed he was a fae, but what of herself? He hardly thought that she'd believe him even for a second.

"I'm so sorry to hear that," Michiko said, sympathy filling her eyes. She looked him dead in the eyes, her yellow orbs glowing with a fresh batch of pain for his situation. "I understand being an outcast," she laughed bitterly. "I'm glad us misfits found each other." She continued to listen to him, finding it attractive how he worried his bottom lip. She blushed, feeling a little dizzy from her situation. How could day get any weirder. She absored the information like a sponge, leaning forward in interest. She suddenly pulled back when she heard him say "You are a,". Michiko looked at him as her eyes widened in surprise and fear. "I'm a what? A poor excuse scue for a human being? A misfit?" She listened with rapt attention, her heartbeat accelerating rapidly.

That sympathy. Oh how he hated it. He remembered those looks from when he was younger, how he'd received them almost constantly because people knew how he was treated, and they agreed and thus did nothing about it. They only looked on him with pity and a few with sympathy but mother ever changed. But from the other college student, everything about it felt sincere, like if he just had a break down she would stay and talk him through it. He took comfort in the idea, his internal battle with himself calming slightly.
When she mentioned her own experience, he couldn't help but frown. Orion knew why, and he wanted to tell her so badly. She deserved to know. She needed to know. It was then that he decided he would tell her. Not that he had much choice as she was assuming ending for his abruptly ended sentence.
Finally meeting her gaze, he saw the fear, and flashes of panic showed in his own optics. "No! You aren't any of those things," he rushed out, wanting her to know he wasn't going to say any of those things - he hadn't even been thinking them. Even still, he hesitated, unsure of how she'd take the next bit of information. "You're a fae." It'd taken an extra minute, but now it was out there.
(It occurs to me that it's past 3 in the morning Lolz so I'm going to go to bed for now, and I'll respond when I can! Good night~)

Michiko froze instantly. "What?" She had been relaxing into the piano bench when he denied that she was a failure of a human being- that is until he dropped the revelation that she was not human at all. How could that be possible? And yet it would explain so much. It would explain why her eyes were a yellow color that was not natural in any other human she had ever met. It would explain her amnesia and lack of childhood sentiment. It would even explain why she was an outcast, and that thought was the most comforting of all. finally, after all these years of thinking that she was a monster, she would finally have somewhere to belong. It would be a miracle. "I guess it makes sense. It would explain why I don't remember anything. But why am I here? Am I exiled too?" And yet for all of that, how could be possible. Could it really be true that she could be something other than human? Is that why Oiron's energy drew her in like a moth to a flame. And yet, there were some obvious differences between the two of them. First of all, his eyes were a steely gray while her's seemed to reflect the sunrise. She thought about the differences, and then a slow fear snuck in like molasses crawling into a bucket from a sap tree. He was metal, technology. He represented the night terrors that had haunted her every week in her dreams for years. His energy matched the source of what she endured in her nightmares time after time. The mechanic whirring, the screaming, the horrible clashing of iron against iron. Was he really related to such a terror. He couldn't be, could he ? Could the seemingly sweet Orion be behind such terrors? He seemed to be so gentle, and yet looks could be deceiving. And yet she didn't want to believe it. But at least that would explain while he was exiled. Michiko realized with a sudden sick rush that she may be in the presence of someone extremely dangerous. She decided to proceed with action. "Orion, why did you get banished?" Michiko asked this gently, in a soft voice as not to alarm him. She believed that she was a fae, and if she wasn't alive in the next few minutes then what would it matter if she was or was not a fae. She tensed up, preparing to spring away if she needed to. Terror coursed through her body, and the frigid adrelnainre had shocked her completely away. She tried to hide her tenseness as she waited on pains and needles for his response, most scared than she had even been in her life to hear a reply.

The fae watched as a new range of emotions took her face. She didn't seem to be rejecting his statement, so he took her questions in stride, saving the fact that she didn't remember anything for later. "I don't know if you were exiled - I wasn't really allowed to speak much to others." The second part of his response sounded a bit choked out, as he was beginning to find it hard to speak.
He hardly knew her. Orion barely knew her yet today was the most he'd talked to one person in weeks, and don't even talk about how much we was sharing. Michiko had gotten to see him dance and that was no small feat with him. And now he was here in a situation that demanded him to practically give away his life story because he'd been careless.
He hadn't wanted this. When he first found her, he didn't think it would turn out anything like this. The dancer had simply thought he'd use the day to devise a plan to take her down, follow through, then move on with his life. But now? He didn't want to. A growing part of him just wanted to have her around, have somebody who understood and actually wanted him around. Even still, original intentions clawed at him and his internal struggle was born anew bringing with it a fresh bout of panic, anxiety, and a head ache that was quick to follow. 'She doesn't want you - she'll turn out like all the others.'
'She's so sweet. She wouldn't lie to me, right?'
'She knows your worth. It's a pity party - get rid of her.'
'She's my first real friend. I need her to stay.'
'She'll figure it out a leave you so take care of her yourself.'
It had only been a few moments of silence between them - it couldn't have been any longer than two minutes - but his breaths had already become uneven and he had a splitting head ache. 'Why did you get banished?' The question was simple enough, but it pierced his thoughts well. Still unable to meet her gaze, he turned slightly to the mirror. Staring into his own eyes, he decided he didn't like what he saw; he also decided he wasn't capable of sharing anything else for the day. Then head ache was starting to blur his vision, and anxiety racked his brain like a beast trying to escape a cage.
Turning away from the mirror, Orion crouched down, throwing all his belongings into his bag however they would fit before closing it and standing once more. He needed to leave, he needed to breath. Anything to get his nerves together and to take a break from talking. He'd never realized how taxing it was to actually talk and share things about himself. "I... I'm sorry," was all he could muster before he was making his away across the room towards the door in hopes of escaping. The thought of her possibly trying to stop him didn't really occur in his mind.

Michiko was stunned to see such anxiety wrack her new friend. The utter shattering of his confidence was simply a complete turn around from the normally calculating person she had come to know over the past 24 hours. A feeling of guilt consumed her at causing him such anxiety, and tears pricked her eyes. She felt like she was loosing him, and she didn't even know why. Her heart shattered, and he eyes glowed as silver tears slipped down her cheeks. "Nevermind, Orion, please don't leave," She stammered out, reaching out for him. She jumped from the piano bench to catch his arms, and she felt her fingertips brush his skin. Unlike earlier when she had been too dazed to comprhend fully, this time the touch send a terror to the very core of her heart. The nightmares were already playing at the edge of her vision, and his energy was just too similar to what she felt whenever she closed her eyes. A sudden fever swept over her she realized that her simple dreams were actually shreds of reality. Michiko looked into the mirror, and she saw his eyes alive and dancing. The gears in his iris were whirring, and the cold metal malice lurked deep within his gray depths. A cruel beauty. She jumped back, startled, and decided to let him go. The truth was right in front of her, and yet, she didn't even want to know it. She knew that she was about to shatter something fragile, and it could possible be his patience with her life. She sat down at the piano bench again, shaking in fear. Half of her wanted him to leave, but a tiny part of her wanted him to stay. An even more minuscule part of her thought he was going to kill her.

He hadn't meant for this to happen. If he knew things would turn out like this, he would've let the whole situation alone. But he wasn't one of the royals. He couldn't manipulate time or memories - there was no way for him to go back and change things as only they could. Nobody could with their blood line brought to a sudden halt but none other than himself. Even now, Orion despised them and the abilities they'd possessed, though not as much as he despised himself for the guilt he just barely managed to recognize on her face.
By now, the fae was likely to do anything she asked of him if it didn't include talking. When she requested he stay, he stopped short of the door, letting the hand that had been about to reach for the handle drop back to his side. He didn't turn to face her, rather opting to just stand there was his gaze on the floor. What was wrong with him? He was never like this. He never got like this - he was composed, calm, calculating. This? Lower than his lowest low.
A simple graze against his skin had him flinching. It startled him that even now she'd reach out for him, but what really scared him was her reaction. He knew why. Judging by anything tonight, the dancer was sure that she'd come to the realization of who he was on his own. 'Good she should fear you. You could be rid of her now and nobody would know.'
'I need her.'
His mind was quick to fly into a war with itself, and he wanted nothing but to leave. But she'd told him to stay. Besides his lack of self worth, his parents had drilled obedience into his head - to be obedient was to be accept. Even still, he no longer wanted to be in his most treasured place. Orion stood there for a minute longer before whispering "I'm sorry." With that, he was gone, out of the music building in record time and letting his feet take him to who knows where.

Michiko watched him leave. It was if time had slowed down in those moments- as if the jerk of his flinch had pressed a button on the universe to go 2x slow speed. He was exiting because he couldn't bare another moment with her. It's probably for the best, a small voice inside her said. He was only bound to bring you heart ache. Nonetheless. Her heart shattered when he stepped out the door. It was as if someone had a Chandalier hanging from the ceiling, and they sudden just released it. The crystalline art work rushed to the floor in a whosh, and it splintered into a million pieces in the floor. Little dribbles of silver light ran down Michiko 's face. They were a gentle river at first, and then all at once it was a waterfall as sobs racked her body. She slid to the floor, and cupped her hands to her head, clutching to the last normal thing she knew- the feeling of her skin. Her far skin. Not wanting to deal with anything, she closed her eyes, tears still leaking out, and sank to the floor in a heap of sorrow. In a pool of tears and moonlight that softly embraced her in a cacoon of lonliness- she drifted off into a fitful sleep where nightmares awaited her.

Sleep wouldn't make it better. So, he walked. And walked and walked and walked. He had no idea where he was going eyes staring blankly ahead at slightly fuzzy shapes and figures as he tried to quell the head ache that threatened to make him pass out. Orion needed to get somewhere, do something, anything to distract him and calm his nerves.
Even still, he felt terrible. He'd left her there. Working with what little sense he had left and pulled out his phone and fumbled through a text to Michiko that was probably full of spelling errors. Not that he was going for correctness, he just had to say something. It was supposed to read as 'I'm sorry. Tomorrow at practice I'll tell you anything you want to know. I promise.' Knowing him, it was probably still readable after a couple minutes of deciphering typos. But he didn't care enough to try and reread his message before pressing send and shoving his phone back into his pocket.
Eventually he found himself in a field - possibly a doctor field. How far from campus was he? Or was this part of campus? He couldn't tell. He didn't care. Dropping his bag, Orion pulled out his iPod and turned up the volume as high as it would go and set his dance playlist to shuffle before throwing it somewhere next to his bag. He shed his jacket and then began with whatever song came on. Time passed and he repeated the playlist again and again until he'd danced himself into exhaustion. He'd been going at it for hours before he finally resigned himself to laying in the grass and staring into the sky with no plans of sleep.

Michiko was standing in a feild also, but this one was bathed in warm sunlight, and her cheeks were dry. All around her tiny creatures fluttered around, and the grass sprouted to her waist while flowers dotted the landscape. She was younger, her hands were tiny- like that if a 5 year old, and she felt a giggle rise our of her lips as she started to run and pounce. She laughed, twirling her flower chain behind her, and making the light kiss all around her. Then all of a sudden the sky turned a steely gray, and the air grew nippy. She shivered, the smile slowly sliding from her face as the sky grew more and more ominous. Out of the blue, a warm pair of hands grabbed her, and she was on top of somebody's shoulders. Her dad? The warm light radiating from him body calmed her beating heart. "Sweet heart, you're going to go on a vacation with Gram for a while, darling. " She smiled, a vacation? "Are you and Mum coming?" She asked, feeling her heart flutter. Her father forced a smile, and a tear leaked from his eye. "No, my little lightning bug. Mum and Dad had to stay and the castle." A few moments later they were all standing in and room - her beautiful mother and loving father and caring granmother. Her mother's white eyes sparkled with tears and she lovingly embraced her child. "See you soon love," she kissed Michiko ' s forehead. Then her father pulled her close, and touched her forhead. "It'd for the best," he choked our as he sealed her memories. She would Fisk to remember her fae life unless in contact with a fae other than her gram. Michiko felt it all slip away as a loud bang was heard, and then the screaming and mechanic whirring started and it all faded away.the next morning she awoke in a bed. She had just moved to Chicago from New York the past day, and she had her first day of Elementary School to worry about. She was in 5th grade!

She looked at the messege FROM: ORION Is 5 still good with you? She sighed and texted back Sure. Then, Michiko heaved herself off the grounded and sprinted to her 9 am.

Orion remember that day. How old had he been? Old enough to have control, but... how old had he really been? He couldn't quite remember, be everything else came to him easily.
It was another bout of his parents degrading him, comparing him to his siblings. He hated it, it shook him to the care and instilled a constantly shrinking sense of self worth. That day though, rather then getting upset and feeling guilting for things he couldn't control, he only got angry. And they just kept going and going until he snapped. That particular moment was a blur, but the next he knew his parents were dead by his own hand. They'd been an accident, but at that point his rage hadn't been settled and he had a need to prove himself as something. Anything. It started there and it hadn't stopped until the Royals had gone done with everyone else in a blur of metal and haze of rage. The entire process of even working his way up to the royals had actually taken a few days, but it was all he needed to lose himself and become whatever he was now.
By the time the royals were dead, those he'd missed had gotten together and used their abilities in tandem, forcing him into the human realm. He hated it, hated them, though he hated himself more so than anything. When he came out of his own thoughts he looked to the sky and realized it was bright and blue, seemingly mocking him. Had he been out here all night? Surely he had. The only thing he really knew was that he'd gotten no sleep at all.
Gathering his things, he stood and made his way back to campus. He'd skip classes today, telling his teachers he was out on a mental health day. He'd keep himself in his room until he had to go to the dance studio to meet with Michiko - if she showed, that was. He didn't even remember texting her last night, so he didn't bother checking his phone.
It didn't take long, but he made it back to campus and his dorm and to his bed where he collapsed, tired but unable to sleep.

Orion had finally dragged himself out of bed to get to the studio. Once in the room, he resigned himself to sitting on the floor with his back against the mirrors. He felt terrible, and he didn't want to see her for fear of being told he wasn't enough or just being flat out rejected.
Soon enough the door opens, and a voice wormed its way into his thoughts. He didn't look up, but he reciprocated her greeting quietly. He hesitated, but finally offered, "Anything you want to know, I'll tell you. I promise."

Michiko sat down by the door, still hurt. "Why did you get exiled. Why do you think I'm a Fae? What does that even entail? " She was full to the brim with questions, and she asked them unapologetically.

There was that word - exile. He brought it on himself, he knew that. Even still, he couldn't get over how it brought back all the memories of rejection and hurt. So, he'd leave that one for last, answering the less taxing questions first.
"I don't think - I know. It's your eyes," Orion started, still refusing to look up at her. "The fae have the most beautiful eyes of any creatures. Compared to the humans, who simply have color in their irises, we have scenes. The fae's eyes contain scenes from nature that are often alive with subtle movement that the human eye can't comprehend. For example, your eyes contain a sunrise that humans can only dream of seeing." He paused, taking a moment to get the rest of his thoughts together. "A fae's eye scene gives a clue to their powers. I've come to realize that you have light abilities, which makes sense."
While he let that sink in, he let his mind turn to her primary question - his exile. He frowned slightly, heaving a sigh. "My exile..." he trailed off, trying to keep himself under control. "You can leave after I tell you - I honestly would be surprised if you stayed."
With that statement in the air, he figured he had nothing left to stall with. "I was exiled because of my crimes. They weren't my initial intention but being told you're unwanted and that you're useless takes it toll. I just snapped and flew into a rage.
"It lasted for days, and I lost myself to hatred that's been festering for years. So many died by my hand..." A sigh passed through him, and that was when he realized he was shaking slightly. "The Royals, too. They fell by my hand. By that time, a group had gotten together and forced me here. So, that's it. Now you know."

Michiko blushed initially at his description of her eyes. " That makes sense, I guess. But why do you saw I have light powers? I've never done anything abnormal in my life," she froze when she heard of his killing spree, ice in her veins. If her dream was correct, hwr parents were royals. "Y-you killed my parents?" She froze, a tear slipping from her eyes. Betrayal ran through her like a fire and she started shaking. "So our race is almost extinct then? Are you telling me I have no home to go back to?"
