Elwrin left camp and examined the trees until he found a thick, sturdy oak. He then recited a song in the ancient language known as 'Du Silbena Datia.'
"O liquid temptress 'neath the azure sky, Your gilded expanse calls me, calls me. For I would sail ever on, Were it not for the elven maid, Who calls me, calls me. She binds my heart with a lily-white tie, Never to be broken, save by the sea, Ever to be torn twixt the trees and the waves."
Before long, the tree took shape, a bow forming from it's branches. After a while, an oak bow fell to the ground. The weapon was sturdy and strong, yet weighed less than a bow made of metal.

Lillian scanned the forest and listened to the sounds of the forest. A soft wind brushed through the trees making the leaves rustle. The night was filled with chirping crickets and the noise was familiar and easy to tune out. She couldn't hear Elwrin, but she knew he couldn't be very far away and Lillian couldn't help but wonder how he was going to make a bow out of a tree. Most people, she'd read at least, found sturdy, arch-shaped branches to use and she doubted it was common to carve one out of the trunk of a tree. Perhaps he would use his enchantments to make it, she didn't know. Lillian focused on Echo's breathing and let herself stay on that for a while before listening to the crickets again, ever alert.

Elwrin walked back to camp, his new bow firm in hand. The bow was about half his size, yet the force of the string was extremely powerful, impossible if not for Elwrin's magical capabilities. The bow's string was a extremely durable, as to accommodate Elwrin's inhuman strength. He walked into camp, nodding to Lillian as he arrived. "Everything clear while I was gone?" He asked quietly, as not to awake Echo.

"Very interesting. So, I'm not normally one for much chatter, but, without a cursed gear, how do you possess the power of a demon?" Shawn questioned further. Perhaps it was human experimentation again, it wasn't uncommon for humans to repeat there mistakes, despite the virus being spread not long ago. Ari gave the vampire a questioning look, having never heard of a cursed gear before. He let out a sigh, not usually one for idle chatter either, but he felt the vampire was misunderstanding him. "I said power of a devil, not demon, but I suppose the two words could be interchangeable," he murmured. He shifted the way he stood, thinking for a moment to choose his words before speaking. "Where I come from there are these fruits known as devil fruits. They are incredibly rare and fetch quite a price on the black market. Rumor has it they possess a piece of a devil's soul, though whether that it true or not, the fact is that whoever eats one receives the power it possesses. One fell into my lap not too many years ago and of course I ate it, granting me these powers."

Nerade suddenly stopped, hearing muffled voices up ahead. She slapped a hand to Mitsuo's torso, stopping him in his tracks. "There are others ahead!" she whispered. "Well, yeah, that's what I told you isn't it?" Mitsuo replied, rolling his eyes. "Ah, hey! Wait!" he called as Nerade started practically running ahead. Nerade pushed branch after branch out of the way, many of them hitting the shinigami behind her in the face. "Hello? Hello!!" she called, hoping her voice reached those camped ahead of her.

Lillian looked up as Elwrin entered her view and she noted the sturdy bow in his hands and his hushed tone. "Yeah," Lillian began, throwing another protein bar at him. "No threats so far." Lillian heard snapping from not far away and a too-loud voice yelling an uncertain greeting. Whoever it was, she was sure they weren't far away. She watched as Echo began to stir and looked around with a questioning expression. She summoned her bow, though she knew it wasn't Elwrin or the Vampire they'd first ran into, neither would make this much noise. -- So his power would indeed kill me, if what he says is true. Demons and devils are rather alike and from another world, it may work similarly. "Devil fruits, interesting." Shawn said. He was curious to test Ari's power, but it was, more or less, useless seeing as he had no blood to offer and there weren't any people around to care if he died.

Elwrin drew his blade at the sound of voices. Reaching out with his mind, he established a connection with Logondi in case he may need to draw energy from the dragon while simultaneously inspecting the newcomers without invading their minds. "There's two of them." Elwrin whispered to Lillian. Through his mental connection, Elwrin heard Logondi's low, rumbling voice.
Elwrin, how fare you?
We've got two people coming into our camp. I may need your assistance if my spells prove too much for my body.
Be safe.

Two? Could it be an ambush? Lillian thought anxiously, staying alert as she didn't want someone to jump them from the back. It looked as though Echo had a fair idea of her though and he moved behind Elwrin and her and faced the other direction, having their backs.

Hello!]]
Nerade walked around one more tree before stepping into the clearing. She saw Lillian and immediately held up her sword, though made no move to fight. "Who are you and where is this?" she demanded, holding a steady gaze on Lillian. Mitsuo popped out behind her and moseyed around the knight, coming to stand right in between. He was much more casual in his approach and left his weapon sheathed. He gave Lillian a wave and sent a glance to Echo. "Hello!" he greeted them. "Don't mind her, she's rude," he added, pointing back to Nerade.
~~~
"Yes, quite," Ari replied. They were quite fascinating powers, though he had no proof they were actually caused by anything related to devils in the slightest. These powers had their weaknesses of course, but he didn't feel quite like sharing that just yet. "Are you satisfied with my abilities now? Or do you still need further proof?" he asked.
(heyo) "No, I'm rather satisfied." Shawn said and not four seconds later he was behind Ari, hand giving a tap on his shoulder. "Well, goodbye then." He began walking away. He would have aggravated Ari to where they would fight, but there was no point when he wasn't going to get blood in the end. -- "I'm Lillian from the Vampire Extermination, Moon Demon Company under the Japanese Imperial Demon Army." Lillian introduced, her bow still in her hand, but she was more lad with Mitsuo's greeting. "What about you both?" She asked and she noted that Echo had turned to face the two.
Sorry I poofed!]]
Ari blinked and watched the man walk away. That... that was it? This man made him explain about devil fruits and everything just to walk away? He shrugged and took a step in the opposite direction. Ari felt that he was capable of getting out of this world on his own, and the vampire didn't seem to have anything to offer him either. He then decided it would be better to get a view of the area from a higher vantage point and looked to the nearest tall building. He picked one and then closed his eyes. Starting from his head, his body began to break down into particles of sand. In a steady stream they floated to the top of the building he had picked and there reformed into his physical body. He scanned the area with a very satisfied look on his face, he really enjoyed having these powers.
~~~
"I am Lady Nerade of the House of Telcontar, heir to the throne of Gondor... well, after my brother, that is," Nerade stated, standing there trying to look as dignified as she could. However, she tired of that after five seconds and took to a much less regal posture. "You can just call me Nerade though, I'm not one for stuffy titles."
"Oh, you're from Japan?" Mitsuo asked Lillian. "Lovely place, I visit often." He flashed an amused grin before giving a slight bow. "Miyamura Mitsuo, captain of the seventh division in Soul Society under the, uh, Soul King? I guess? Yeah, I'll go with that," he said

Lillian listened as they introduced themselves, bit surprised to here that a Nerade was princess. After Mitsuo finished speaking, Lillian spoke again. "Well, I wouldn't know. Japan isn't exactly a lovely place, well, the world isn't either. At least in my world." Then, with a more curious tone, she asked, "What are your worlds like? Oh, incase you didn't pick up on this, we're from different worlds." She added quickly and let her bow fade away. She was curious to here how an oh-so-divine princess lived and what the Japan is like and what Mitsuo's army is like. It seemed that he had a world closer to hers before the virus broke out and maybe it made her let her guard down a bit, but if these two joined they'd have enough for a proper squad which was also reassuring.

Elwrin still held had his arrow nocked, though he aimed it down to prevent any accidents from occurring. "Well, from what I got from their statements as they're both high in rank where they're from." Dropping into a quieter tone so only Lillian could hear, he added, "For better or for worse, I've not a clue, but from touching their consciences, I can see no evident ill-will directed towards us."

"Yes, I have noticed that," Nerade said with a glance to Mitsuo. Where she came from, no sane swordsman would walk around wearing no armor of any sort. "I'm from the Kingdom of Gondor, part of the larger continent of Middle Earth. There are many other kingdoms there. At first I though I had woken up in one of the elven kingdoms, but I now see that is not so," she said. She sheathed her sword and glanced around. "If I am to be perfectly honest, a lot of my kingdom looks like this," she added jokingly. She then looked to Mitsuo expectantly, only to find the redhead wasn't paying attention.
Mitsuo had been staring off at a tree when he heard someone clear their throat. "Huh? What? Oh, my turn? Ok," he said after Nerade nodded to him. "Uh, I live in Soul Society. It's in the spirit world. To be more specific I live in the center, along with the other thirteen divisions. We kill bad spirits called hollows and purify them, sending them to a happily ever after in Soul Society. And, not to brag or anything, but I happen to be the strongest captain there," he said, covering up his lie with a wide grin.

"Then we should see if they'll join us." Lillian replied in a hushed tone. She listened to there stories and in a louder tone she spoke, "Interesting." So, maybe their worlds aren't so much like I thought they might be, but I'd rather know them than not if they were to join us. "I guess I'll tell you about my world then. Years ago, due to the result of human experimentation, a virus broke out killing almost 90% of the human population. Vampires, arrogant beings who drink blood and have inhuman strength, came out of hiding and began to take humans as livestock. The humans in Japan created JIDA with divisions like the Moon Demon Company to kill vampires so humans can one day regain a large enough population for things to return to how they were before the virus. There are two types of vampires, Nobles and non-nobles. Nobles have far more strength and speed than the average vampire which means they're much stronger than hums. To put it simply, within ten seconds of encountering a noble, you could be lying on the floor dead. Severing a vampires head won't kill them, but their bodies will be rendered useless unless the head is reattached. Take out a vampires heart will turn them into a demon and that's a whole nother problem in itself. We have weapons we call Cursed Gear and the good stuff has demons inside them, while average, multi-produced look-a likes are just made slightly stronger than its average form. These curses allow us to kill the vampires. That's about all you need to know about my world." She explained.

"That sounds... really depressing," Mitsuo commented. "And scary, and that's coming from someone who deals with soul sucking monsters as a day job." He tilted his head to the side for a moment of thought before speaking again. "Our weapons sound a bit similar, only we soul reapers don't use demons. Our swords have souls of their own that are connected to ours, and that's the source of their special abilities. As I mentioned before, mine is the best out of any soul reaper."
Nerade was frowning, she had never heard of such things as vampires. There were wraiths and spirits in Middle Earth, but those were quite different. She shook the thought away and moved on to more important things. "Is there anything about this world we should know about?" she asked LIllian.

"Depressing? That's the first time I've heard that word used to describe it." Lillian gave a wry laugh. "As for scary, I guess it is for people who aren't part of the army, but in the army, everyone's got a goal and to achieve that goal, there's no room for fear." She mused in reply. She continued listening until Nerade finished. "I don't know much about this world except it doesn't seem to have any natives, there are towns and cities just outside of this forest stocked with things you would normally find. Then there's us and our opposers. Warnick, a guy with pretty strong power from Elwrin's world and a vampire noble from my world are also here. We've run into both and it hasn't been very fun." She explained.

"I'm Elwrin." He informed the newcomers. "I'm a dragon rider from the land of Alagaësia. Where I'm from, we're currently in the middle of a civil war between the Varden, who control the majority of the human population, along with their allies, the elves, dwarves, Surda, which is another human state, and us, the riders. We are fighting a group of rebels who sympathise with the former human government, the empire. They were ruled by a rider named galbatorix, who nearly killed every dragon in existence aside from the eggs in vroengard, which no one knew about. He was a tyrant and a madman and now these rebels are trying to bring those dark ages back. Warnick is one of these rebels."

Hello!]]
"I see, thank you," Nerade murmured to Lillian after her explanation. She listened to Elwrin's introduction and her eyes went wide. "Dragon rider? Did you just say dragon rider?!" she gasped. "How in the name of Iluvatar did you manage to do that?! That is an incredible feat!" She stood in shock and awe at the thought. In Middle Earth, the dragons were monstrous things that all races feared. They were as large as mountains with impenetrable scales and flames that melted all they touched. Even the mightiest heroes of old didn't escape from an encounter unscathed.
Mitsuo was still focused on what Lillian had told them. So there were at least two dangerous forces in this world that they knew of. Well, if things ended up coming down to a fight, at least he was well-versed in the practice.

"In the days before humans settled in alagaesia, the elves sailed over. The dragons, whom are as intelligent as you and I, ruled. The only other race, the Dwarves, were constantly pillaged by the dragons and their flocks devoured. One elf made the mistake of hunting down a dragon and killing it as you would a stag. In outrage, the dragons attacked the elves. It was a bloody war, many elves and dragons died. That is known as Du Fyrn Skulblaka, or the dragon war. An elf named Eragon discovered a dragon egg abandoned, some say the dragons did it on purpose, others say the parents were killed, but when the egg hatched, Eragon cared for it and raised it. Together, the two ended Du Fyrn Skulblaka as ambassadors for their own races and brought peace. The dragons and elves decided to create the riders. every year a few wild dragon eggs were given to the elves, who would cast spells over the eggs making the egg hatch only when it comes into contact with an elf that the dragon inside deems worthy of being its rider. When the egg hatches and comes into contact with the elf, the dragon and elf would be mentally bonded. They shared consciences and could even feel each other's pain. When the humans arrived to alagaesia, they were added to the blood oath. My dragon, Logondi, hatched for me soon after my sixteenth birthday."

"So, Elwrin, Echo and I have decided to work together to find out how to leave this place. To put it simply, you're either with us, or against us." She'd way rather these two join them, but if it came down to a fight, she wouldn't hesitate.

Nerade blinked, eyes still wide. "That is fascinating," she whispered. "The only dragons that have lived in my realm have always been evil to the core, they hoard treasure in their mountain caves, and roast anyone or any town who tries to defy them. It would be so amazing to be able to befriend one," she said. She let out a wistful sigh, picturing herself riding a dragon through the skies of Middle Earth. "The wraiths of the now the dark Lord Sauron had dragon-like creatures they rode called fell beasts, but none have been found since he was defeated and the One Ring destroyed," she sighed.
"That makes sense to me, I'd say we're with you," Mitsuo said to Lillian, answering right away. "Well at least I am, I can't answer for her," he added, pointing to Nerade.
"Of course I am with them, I want to return to my home as much as everyone else does," Nerade retorted.

Elwrin reached out with his mind and found Nerade's conscience. He was easily able to enter her mind, as there was no opposition. At the same time, Elwrin also grasped his mental link with Logondi.
Logondi? You still there? Elwrin asked.
Yes. what happened? The dragon inquired.
It's okay. The newcomers are friendly. In fact, I offered to introduce one of them to you. Elwrin informed him.
Of course you did.
What is that supposed to mean? Elwrin questioned humorously.
Just hurry up and introduce me.
Okay.
Through elwrin's link with both Logondi and Nerade, he directed Logondi to Nerade's mind.

Lillian sighed and walked a short ways away. "Azurine, why?" She asked quietly, having her bow manifest and she shot an arrow at a far away tree, watching as the bird-like figure stuck the tree and continued through it, making a small hole through the tree. "It seemed your senses are dulling, Lillian." Azurine whispered in her ear. "How so?" Lillian's normally calm voice had taken on an edge of annoyance. Seriously, she was so mixed up right now. She felt open without a squad or at least a formation, the newcomers were interesting, but ignorant and weren't thinking at all to be alert. Nerade was having a conversation with a far off dragon just for the fun of it and it was slightly annoying. Then, there was that dream/memory. "Perhaps not being surrounded by vampires and your squad has put you off-edge. Let me give you a hint. He's here." Azurine spoke back as Lillian fired three more arrows simultaneously. "I'll keep my eyes open, thanks." She said simply, watching as the arrows pierced the same tree. She imagined the first shot impaledthe heart, then the first of the three impaled the shoulder, the next grazed the neck and the last impaling the head. It was a nice refresher. The though that to anyone else it would look like she'd been talking to herself since she was the only one capable of hearing Azurine didn't occur to her, since in her world, it wasn't strange.

Nerade's eyes opened wider than they were before, if that was possible, at the threat from the dragon and she shook her head vigorously. I promise on my life, you will not have to worry about me doing anything of the sort! I will not raise my sword against an ally, only those who come between us.
As amusing as it was to watch Nerade's ever changing facial expressions, Mitsuo found himself watching Lillian fire her various arrows at a far off tree. "You're a pretty good shot," he commented. "A good friend of mine would be so jealous. Her clan's main weapon is the bow and arrows, but she can't hit a target to save her life," he said with a snicker. "Even I'm a better shot than her, and I barely use projectiles in combat."
