anybody up for it? I have yet to come up with a plot, but I've got a few characters im dying to try out free for anyone to join! though I do ask that you have more than one liners most of the time and none of that mary sue gary stu and whatnot no need for character references unless you feel like writing them up~
heres a starter //clears throat A lean figure was making its way down mainstreet, abandoned in the darkness and rain. There were a few lights shone dimly along the sides of the road, some flickering and some not shining at all from lack of maintenance. As the figure walked past the lights, they cast long shadows out to the middle of the street, shadows giving away the tail that lashed from side to side behind her. Her face was hidden by a black and gray jacket, the hood pulled up over her head to help shield herself from most of the rain. Of course, it didn't do much good now since it had soaked through long ago. Every few steps she would stop and glance back, then keep walking again.

[ when you say fantasy, what do you mean by that exactly? Like, including supernatural creatures, or like middle earth type things (orcs, elves, witches and wizards and warlocks)? ]

A young teen was lurking in the shadows, her plain black dress, tights, and combat boots making her look rather cold in the middle of the rainstorm, yet the athletically built girl refused to shiver, eyes darting back and forth as she looked for other signs of life. Her curly hair was in a high ponytail, dark brown hair looking practically black from the rain. On her arm was a tribal tattoo of a dragon, her eyes a dark blue. (She's a hypnotist/illusionist who has a dragon. The dragons in the tattoo, it can either be called out of her in which she will appear or it can lend her some powers, however briefly they may be.)

oohhh very cool EDIT: hey rari! ^^ )
Her pace slowed after a bit of walking and her nose twitched. She stopped, lifting one hand and trying to muffle a sneeze. Grumbling about the cold and disliking the wetness, she kept walking. The further she went, the more anxious she became, wondering if she really was alone. There were other people around, but they were all sleeping. No, she meant there was someone else around that was actually quite alert. However, she couldn't be sure if it was who she thought it was or not, the rain dampening her sense.

[ thought "huh maybe I shouldn't also have a girl" but ehhhhh ]
She was perfectly amicable. Perfectly! A nice, good person who did nice, good things for the gooder of the world. Er, better of the world. All in the name of good. That's what she did, right? The girl had always been told so. Walking down the street, a windbreaker pulled taut over her fluffy sweatshirt, the girl puffed out her cheeks. Sheesh, could they have sent her out on a colder day? Jeez, this weather was absolutely awful. It certainly made the prospect of killing much more gloomy. And with her recent reconsiderings of the family's operations? Admittedly it wasn't a good combination. She wrapped her arms around herself, jaw set and gaze boring ahead of her. She was almost too focused on her task that she didn't even notice the task. She didn't even notice the person directly in front of her, snapping out of her reverie when the light caught on the other person's coat. In an attempt to veer out of the way, she tripped over the edge of the sidewalk, stumbling knees first into the small riven of rain in the little drainage area. Oh god. This was embarrassing. She almost didn't even want to move, hoping she would poof out of existence in that moment.

no worries, just gives me more of a reason to use my men later hehehe also, gonna be just a bit poofy)
At this point, she had gotten so tense that she was just about ready to make a bolt for it and hope for the best. As soon as she heard something hit the ground she whipped around and stood in a defensive pose with her hands up and balled into fists, looking just about ready to shred whoever it was. She stared down at the stranger, glowing blue eyes wide with surprise. This wasn't who'd she thought it was at all. Though she was still worried there was someone else out there, maybe more than one someone, she relaxed immediately and walked over, holding out a hand and offering to help whoever it was up. "Are you alright?" she asked, tilting her head.

(( Hmm... I think I'll have Vyra accidentally teleport into the area and arlo can follow her ))
A girl of around seventeen wearing a green striped hoodie over a cream t-shirt was walking down the street, looking from side to side as if trying to find something. Carefully avoiding a puddle, the girl darted under an awning in front of a closed shop and looked back down the road. "Arlo?" she called.

Rhydian was also stuck out in the rain, but he didn't seem to mind it as much. His face was shadowed until he passed through the light, which revealed a very troubled expression. Hearing someone call out, he glanced over and stopped in his tracks, straining to hear anything else over the rainfall. For a moment he wondered if his mind was playing tricks on him, but decided to test it and called back. "Hello?"

Aw, I hope your cat gets better soon Sorry if my posts are bad, i haven't really rped much recently and it's 6 am, lol ))
"Ar-" Vyra stopped and turned, looking in the direction she thought the unfamiliar voice had come from. "Over here by-" She stepped away from the awning long enough to read the sign, or try to, most of the letters were missing. "-the store with the messed up sign.. Who's there?" she asked, starting to feel a bit nervous. Arlo would come once she figured out where she was, but for now she was lost in the rain, talking to a stranger she couldn't even see.

so do I, and its alright I know just how you feel cx )
Rhydian still wondered if his mind was just playing tricks on him, but headed toward where the voice was coming from, squinting through the falling droplets and few that were pooling in his eyes. "Uh- Rhydian. Whos there?-" He cut himself off with a yelp when the rain suddenly stopped falling in front of him as he stepped unknowingly under the awning and he was face to face with the strange girl he'd heard. "Oh. Hi there," he said, blinking rain out of his eyes and smiling slightly, still a bit startled.

Vyra jumped when Rhydian suddenly appeared in front of her. "Hi.. I was, uh..." Arlo had been showing her a picture, and then she'd accidentally teleported into the city, but she couldn't say that, he'd probably think she was crazy. "I was looking for my sister and I got lost... You haven't seen a girl with short blonde hair and a leather jacket, have you?" She doubted he'd seen her since Arlo couldn't teleport, but it was worth asking.

Rhydian took a respectful step back. Not into the rain, just to the side. If possible, he wanted to avoid getting soaked to the bone. When she asked if he'd seen her sister, he thought for a moment then shook his head. "I'm afraid I haven't, in fact I haven't really seen anyone around here since... yesterday, I think? Since before it started raining," he said, looking a bit uncertain with that answer. His shoulders lifted in a shrug. "You live around here?" he asked curiously, tilting his head slightly to the side.

"Oh, okay. It's been raining since yesterday? Wow." Vyra said. She wondered if it would stop anytime soon. "Uh.." she hesitated to answer his question, "Not really, I don't know... Where is here?"

here-ish! heheh, its alright guys, i passed out as well x'D and oki rari)
Rhydian nodded slowly, still thinking a bit more over how long it had been raining. He shook his head to break the train of thought and looked back down at her. "I'm not quite sure myself, actually. I know that its a city of some sort, and that there are people around, but the whole place is more than a bit run down," he said.

Ugh. This was awful. This was terrible. The girl silently cursed that rain as she looked up, a voice approaching her. "Uh- thanks," she offered a sheepish grin, using the offered hand to pull herself up. "God, I'm drenched now..." She mumbled, looking down her now-soaked clothing. "Sorry about that!" She chirped towards the other person, having momentarily forgotten that this person wasn't just a figment of her imagination. It was easy to assume so, considering what a ghost town the place had been recently. "Didn't have to help me, sure I could've gotten up on my own. But thanks anyways." She gave the person a soft, friendly punch to the shoulder. "What brings you out into this awful weather?"

"im heree!~ *poofss*" pfffft)
She nodded back to her as she got to her feet, letting go of her hand and letting it fall back to her side. This person seemed much nicer than who she'd first expected and it was extremely relieving, so much she actually smiled. Her eyes darted down when she lightly punched her shoulder, then she looked back up to the strangers face and the smile turned into a friendly, amused smirk. "No problem," she said with a shrug, then continued, "Oh, not much, just trying to avoid some crazy guy and find somewhere to hideout, how about you?" Her tail tip flicked from side to side, and though she had relaxed, she still cast wary glances over her shoulder now and then.

The girl's eyes widened. "Oh!" She laughed. Sounded like everyone in this town had awful things going on with them. "Well... I certainly hope you have luck with that! You know, not get killed, or whatever, haha!" She crossed her arms over her chest, almost defensively. "Not that you would get killed here. Hah, that would be weird. And bad. And entirely not true! Actually-!" Her rambling was cut off by a sound. Something hidden. Body tensing, she shoved this stranger behind her with a surprising amount of force for someone so tiny. It was practically instinct, force of habit, to immediately protect who ever was nearby. A hand slid beneath her windbreaker, normally warm green eyes boring into the nothingness in front of her. She couldn't actually see anything, but certainly something had to be there. "Get out here."

This seemed like a nice stranger, or at least, nicer than most she had met. She gave a quiet, soft laugh that was almost drowned out by the rain, then her eyes widened and her eyebrows shot up, a yelp escaping her when she was suddenly shoved back to the side. "Wh-" It took her a moment to process what had just happened, and it took even longer to avoid slipping and falling flat on her face. She waved her arms and tail around and tried to catch her balance, but in the end managed to just thump onto her knees with a grunt. Nothing too bad, she pushed herself back up without any trouble and looked over the girls shoulder, eyeing the darkness. Her hood slid off when she perked her ears forward, letting rain more freely soak her hair, resulting in it sticking to her face. She grumbled quietly with annoyance, but focused more on whoever was hiding in the shadows.

AJ stilled, her breath hitching in her throat, before unraveling her illusion carefully, revealing a small, thin teen with a short sleeved black dress, black tights, and boots. She clasped her hands behind her back, ready to flee if necessary, she could sense her dragon wanting to escape at that moment, her thoughts tugging at AJs mind. The girl said nothing, holding her ground and studying the people as closely as she could, putting on an almost mock bravado. It was clear she had been in this situation before.
