(Glad to hear you finally made it to Spain in one piece. It must have been chaotic for you, but at least you're settled in now. As for me, I've had my ups and downs, but overall I've been doing fine. ^^ )
(XD)
Anya believed him. After all, he had done just that the first time her power had manifested. Granted, that day had ended up with her badly hung-over, but it had cheered her up for a few hours at least. The young woman glanced over to Alia. "Is there anything we have to do now?" she asked. They hadn't discussed what they would do after the test, and she knew it would take a day or so to pack and ready themselves for their travels. Still, she wanted to check with her mentor before running off and doing something else.

Anya released her and smiled. "I came here to learn to be a Rider, and, even with our rocky start, I wasn't going to just give up. I'm glad I didn't," she told her. Really, if they hadn't worked things out between them, who knows what she would be doing now. Not about to go train while exploring the world. "Thank you, again. If you need me to help you with the preparations, just let me now. I'm sure Corrik will be easy to find if nothing else."

(Here ya go! I hope I got the right one lol. )
Maverick, as much as he wanted to reach out to her again, kept his hands to his side and smiled. "Good night Tori, I'll see you first thing tomorrow," he said, before starting to back up. He reached into his pocket for the keys, but once he found them he didn't take them out. He instead decided to watch her go until he couldn't see her anymore, then the boy would enter his dorm room.
(Huh I don't remember what my answer would have been the last time, so maybe no? Like maybe he can meet his roommate the next morning or something? Oooor, maybe they meet and he's really mean during sometime in the day, then later they find each other to be their roommates?)
.-=-.-=-.
Lach nodded slowly, blinking. She was right of course. That was the one thing he wasn't a huge fan about camping, not always having somewhere even nice to sleep. It was the reason he always tried to bring his hammock if he could help it. When she sat up, he simply shrugged, propingg himself up on his shoulder to speak, "Not wonderful, but I'm well enough to move around now at least." Honestly, he was starting to get restless, even homesick for Underland. He couldn't even imagine how Celia would be feeling about being here as long as they had been.
.-=-.-=-.
Rico blinked for a moment, before nodding. He was thinking of hoisting her up by putting her foot on his hands, but this might work easier now she mentioned it. "Yeah that should w-work," he said, changing position to have his back facing her so she could climb her way up. He knew he could hold Phallon, at least enough to get her up.
.-=-.-=-.
Lachy nodded, noticing a subtle bite to her words. He realised he should probably hold back on questions like this. She didn't like him fretting, he figured that out. However when she continued, he kind of tilted his head. "Well, I mean, I wouldn't imagine you'd be all that fine after," he paused to glance at her, "what happened. You're taking this better then anyone else would, that's for sure." Lachy looked back at the river after a couple seconds, somewhat frowning.

(Yep. XD)
He really did make it hard to leave him. Tori, once inside her dorm, had cast her boyfriend one last glance only to find him still watching her. If it hadn't been the need to not get into trouble on their first night as university, she might have broke down and asked him to stay. She didn't, but she wanted to. With a final wave, she closed the door, sealing them to the new rooming arrangement for the next year or more, depending on what will happen.
(I like the idea of the two running into each other during classes, have a bad encounter, and then find out they're roommates.)
~*
Celia nodded. "Then we should try to find the portal," she said. "Thankfully, we have Sam to help us. Should we try to look for the building it was in last time?" She didn't know if the portal would remain in the same place as before, but it was at least a place to start.
~*
(Honestly, I have no idea which option of how she's getting up to the grate we really chose, so I'm just going with this one. XD ) Phallon waited until he was ready before she started to climbing onto his back. From this spot, she could reach the edge of the opening. It took some time, but she eventually hauled herself out of the tunnel.
~*
"I'm not one to play weak," Celia replied. She knew that there was no shame in displaying pain or weakness that came with injury or illness, however, she also had never been the one fond of having people dote over her in those times. Having a huge family as she did, if someone got sick, everyone took care of them. It got suffocating very quickly. "Not to mention, the more normal I act, the sooner I get to leave the medical ward."

OOC:Text (Lol good. X3 Also whoops I forgot we were at her dorm lol.)
Waving back, he watched the door click closed, painfully slowly. It was then he sighed, looking down at the wooden floor and quietly tapping his heel twice as he thought. He was worried about Victoria. He would never tell her that of course, but he was worried about how she would cope with all this, being at university.
(Cool, I'm glad you like that one lol. I guess tonight we could say he was out at a party or something?)
.-=-.-=-.
Lachlan nodded, looking over at the bird in question. She was still roosting on the back of an armchair in the corner, though she would probably wake soon enough. He supposed that was how she was affected on Earth. Sam looked to be very lethargic, sleeping any chance she got, compared to her being able to fly and stay awake for days at a time in Underland. Lach thought, before shrugging. "Yeah, I think so. One would think it would still be there. If not, then like you said, Sam can help track it down," he said, attempting to sit himself up, with a small groan. "Do you want to head out ASAP?"
.-=-.-=-.
(Yeah lol, to be honest I think we both got a little confused with that bit. Oh well, happens sometimes. XD)
Rico attempted to help her up further once she was off his back, however quickly changed his mind and just held his arms out to catch her in case she slipped. Then, once she was up, Rico began to haul himself up as well.
.-=-.-=-.
It took his will not to scoff at her words, looking at her again. "Weak? Celia, you've been through hell and back these past few weeks, you've got," he stopped suddenly. He was going to explain the extent of her wounds to prove a point, however, he decided against it, instead settling with, "You're a miracle to have survived, so I doubt that 'weak' is a word people would use to describe you." Maybe he didn't need to be so adamant in his argument, but he was thoroughly surprised by her response, though he shouldn't have been with how she had acted so far. His words were a little softer when he continued, a hint of light amusement in his voice. "I suppose you would want to get out of there as soon as you can. If you ask me that's not an amazing idea, no matter how restless you are," he pointed out.

(Lol, it's fine. ^^ Should we time skip then to them meeting? Maybe it could be either before or after a class that they share? Or did you want Tori and her roommate to interact some before we end the night? Either option I'm down for.)
~*
"Preferably," Celia answered, "but I don't want you to push yourself. If you're not fit to travel, then another day here won't hurt." It killed her to say that, yet there was nothing she could do. If Lach wasn't well enough to move, then forcing him to do so might just make things worse for him.
~*
(It's Wonderland, nothing makes sense. We'll let that be the excuse. XD)
From her vantage point, Phallon did what she could in helping Rico up the exit. If nothing else, then she helped him keep from falling. "Alright then," she muttered once he was safely on the ground beside her. "Where to now?"
~*
Celia only watched Lach as he responded so adamantly about her statement. She would agree with what he said: her time on Earth was the closest experience to hell as she would like to be. She would never make that mistake twice. However, it was strange to have this boy telling her all this. After all, they barely knew each other. Well, she guessed she couldn't keep saying that. They had gotten to know certain things about each other in their time together. It wasn't a lot of information, but it was information nonetheless. "I just want to go home," she stated in response. Simple and honest. She longed for the safety of her tree house and the safety it held. She just wanted to put an end to this trip as soon as possible.

(Ooh that's a good question actually… maybe, do you want to have a little scene with Sky and Tori, then skip to Mav and his roommate? Maybe just before a class Mav has with Tori, so just after the interaction he suppresses the annoyance he had with him.)
.-=-.-=-.
Lach raised his eyebrow slightly at her comment. He wouldn't have expected her to offer another day to hela if he needed it, but it made him smile a little that she did. Slowly he shook his head. "No. No its fine, we don't need to stay another day. I can make it back to Underland, I'm sure," he said, offering the girl a slight reassuring smile.
.-=-.-=-.
(Lol that works for me, nothing makes sense here. XD)
Rico thought for a moment, "there's a small village n-nearby we can go to, it's this way," he explained, starting toward where he gestured to, however he was stopped by a small squeak behind him. "I don't think I can come," said Nira quietly, her small snout twisted into a frown. Rico blinked in surprise, turning to face her. "Why not?" "I've never been away… From the castle, I mean," she explained. Rico of course wanted to encourage the little mouse to come with them. After all she didn't seem like she wanted to stay, but he also wasn't sure. Maybe he should just let her make her own decision. The boy eventually turned to Phallon, silently asking what she thought.
.-=-.-=-.
Maybe no, they didn't know each other well enough to be making statement like that. However, he could also remember the number of conversations they had while Celia was barely even conscious, though they were short and far apart. He was all but certain he knew a lot more about her then she realised, though he would avoid letting her know that, if he could help it. Lachlan sighed, nodding. "Yeah, I understand." The boy's mouth twitched, and he looked down at his hands for a moment, soon redirecting his eyes to her. "You'll get there eventually though, no matter how long the healing takes. You're at least safe now."

(That's up to you. I don't mind having a small scene with Tori and Sky, but I also didn't know if you wanted to go on and have Mav meet his roommate. I didn't want to keep dragging it out if you're eager for that scene.)
~*
Celia nodded, feeling more relieved than she would admit that he hadn't agreed to take another day of rest. This place was keeping her in panic mode. It was a wonder she was able to sleep at all here. "Do you want to eat something before we go?" she asked, at least going to give him a chance to eat before forcing him out to look for the portal.
~*
Phallon shrugged when he looked to her, then glanced down at Nira. "If you join us, you might get hurt as well if the Queen finds us again," she pointed out. "But if you don't mind that, then you're more than welcome to come along. We'll do our best to keep you safe."
~*
Celia tore her gaze from him. Why did he have to be so agreeable? There were still plenty of things that he did that annoyed her, yet with each day that passed, she was starting to tolerate it bit by bit. At least some of the things he said made sense, and he wasn't as bad as the others of his kind had been. "I'd heal faster if I was at home," she muttered. It wasn't a good argument, but it was all she had. "I think the world of Toadsworth and his wife, but I just need some time on my own. I can't take all this doting and close watchfulness."

(Okay, maybe a little scene with her and Sky then. I've been thinking about her, and I might have a good little thing I can do with her for Tori. Then we can do the thing with Mav and his new enemy. X3 Do you want me to start?)
.-=-.-=-.
Lachy thought for a moment. The offer was cartainly tempting, but he still shook his head. "No I'm okay. I think I can hold out till we get to Underland. As long as you promise I can get a feast when we get home," he said in an attempt to lighten the mood, laughing lightly until it ended in a cough. He then sat up, moving so he was sitting next to Celia instead of laying behind her. "Shall we?"
.-=-.-=-.
Nira looked between the two of them, clearly torn by the options laid out before her. "Would I not be a hinderance, coming you you two?" She asked, unsure of herself. Rico adamantly shook his head. "No, n-not at all. You're no hinderance to us," he reassured her. Fiddling with her small hands, the mouse slowly nodded, looking between them both again. "O-okay then. I… II tthink I'll come with you," she finally decided.
(I was thinking, about that idea of Phallon and Rico living here for a while, seeing as time hardly passes on Earth? Like if they inadvertently, or directly, did something about the war in Wonderland with their travelling? Did we decide for or against that idea?)
.-=-.-=-.
Lach kept his eyes on Celia until she spoke, which caused him to smirk and look down. It seemed she hadn't much in the way of a counter argument if that's all she had. However when she continued, his smile faded again, and all he could do was nod in response. "I understand," he said simply. He was never really in her shoes personally, he never had been doted on to begin with, but he could imagine how she would feel well enough to understand. "Yeah, I guess being home would do you good. And I'll try to avoid doting if I can help it while there too." Lachlan glanced sideways at her when he said that. He wasn't sure if he had brought up the idea of going with her to her home, so he wanted to see how she reacted to his words, if she would at all.

(Okay! Let's do that then. ^^ And it doesn't matter to me. I can if you want me to.)
~*
His attempt to lighten the mood did not go unnoticed, and had they been back home, she might have smirked. "You'll get as much as you want to eat," she promised, standing up from the couch. Everything was still pretty much packed into her bag. She didn't want their supplies strewn around everywhere in case they needed to make a run for it. So she simply just scooped it up and threw it over her shoulders. Then the woman turned to help Lach to his feet.
~*
"I doubt you'd be a hindrance," Phallon added, smiling. The little mouse barely took up any space at all. She certainly wouldn't mind carrying Nira. When she agreed to come with them, her smile widened and she knelt down to offer her hand for their new companion to step onto. "Then we'll be happy to have you."
(I think we were going to have them stay in Underland for a bit. I think we talked a little about them going to see the White Queen too, eventually. I'm not sure, but it'll be something for them to do and add some plot points for them.)
~*
"So you're still set on following me home?" Celia asked, her eyes moved back to the boy. "Even though there's a chance that you might not see me much there?" Her house was a place to hide from the rest of the world after her travels are done. Having Lach there wouldn't change that. She wasn't going to go out of her way to keep him company all the time if he was going to join her.

OOC:Text (I can start!) Skylar was quietly writing at her desk, not even seeming to react when Tori walked into the room. It was only a few moment later when she realised the girl's presence after seeing her in the reflection of the window ahead of her. Quickly she fiddled with her ear, before turning around with a smile. "Victoria, you're back," she greeted her roommate happily.
.-=-.-=-.
Lachy chuckled, "I'll hold you to that." No, he wouldn't. He didn't need much in the way of food most times anyway. It was what made his travels a lot easier. And most of the time when they did need to eat, Sam preferred to hunt small rodents and things while he made a fire. Lach reached out and, with the help of Celia, got to his feet. "Well, let's head off before more people wake up," he suggested, smiling at her when he let go, and started toward the door. This was the part he was dreading the most.
.-=-.-=-.
Nira smiled as well, glad to see her newfound companions would be happy to have her with them. She was still surprised when Phallon knelt down to pick her up. She gave the girl a wide grin and obliged, dropping down to all fours and jumping onto her hand, holding on. "Thank you!" she squeaked. Rico, once they were done, turned again. "Everyone r-ready to get going?"
(I thought so, and ahh yeah I think I remember that too. And exactly right. Plus if it's like witch and the wardrobe, they could theoretically be there for 70 years and only have been gone for a week, and they only look a week older on Earth? But why I mentioned it, I'm just imagining that if they stay they just accumulate a big group of people coming with them on their travels. Oddities like Nira. Probably wouldn't work though lol.)
.-=-.-=-.
That's right, he had actually told her about his plan already. "Yeah I know don't worry. I'm sure it'll be fine though, I think I'll see you enough," he said. Honestly he underestimated the size of her tree house. Yeah everyone who told him about it, said it was massive, and Underland is pretty amazing, but surely it wasn't so large he'd almost never see Celia, right?

Tori noticed that Skylar was working at the desk, so she decided to just let the other girl be. Trying not to disturb her, she headed to her side of the room in order to get ready for the night. She made it half-way there before Sky addressed her. She looked up and nodded to the girl, offering a small smile. Then reached for her notebook and pen. "Sorry to disturb you. It looked like you were focused," she wrote before handing the book to her.
~*
Celia made no arguments for that. As he made his way to the door, she did something else that she normally wouldn't have done. The young woman tucked herself under one of his arms, taking his arm to wrap it over her shoulder while her arm went around his waist. This was her effort to try and help support him as he walked. Sure, she would have done this back home too if he needed it, just maybe not as close as she was now.
~*
"You're welcome," Phallon said, returning the smile as they stood up. "I think we're ready," she answered. The woman turned and waited for Rico to lead the way from the castle, hoping that all would go well.
(Yeah, that whole time difference thing is a mess and a half. XD I think we decided that no matter where they're at, the time in the other world is "frozen" until they return. I don't know how that would work or what messy details that would involve, but that's what we're going with. XD Yes, I can see them having a huge group by the end of their travels. XD)
~*
Celia shook her head slightly. "If you really feel like you must, then I can't stop you. You'll be free to leave if you ever change your mind. Just be sure to take a map. You'll need it to find your way around this place."

Skylar took the small notepad from her roommate and read it. When she was done she smiled and shook her head, handing the book hack to her. "Oh no I'm not really, I just didn't hear you come in is all,” she admitted, shrugging. It was a problem she knew, her hearing was getting worse and worse, and she’s already having to use hearing aids to help. “Also, if it helps I can read lips, in case you’re sick of writing things down on that,” she gestured to the notepad.
.-=-.-=-.
Lachy was surprised at first by her action. He knew she never really did this, this closely at least. He tried to regain himself though and put his arm around her, gratefully accepting her help for him to walk. As they exited the building, Lach looked around. “Let’s see if I can remember the way,” he mumbled, and as Sam followed them out, he turned to look at her. “Sam, large building, made of metal, and breaking down, try that way,” he told her, pointing to their left, and they took off. “Let’s start that way too, so it might be easier when she finds it,” he said, this time turning to see Celia as much as she could, though she her face was very close near his.
.-=-.-=-.
Nira piped up, exclaiming that she was ready to go as well. As nervous as the little mouse was, she was also feeling the excitement of going somewhere new bubbling up in her stomach, and it took all she could not to bounce on her toes. Rico, satisfied with their answers, smiled a little and started walking. Unfortunately no soul was stupid enough to build their houses so close to the castle, so the walk turned out to be a good hour long through the forest. Here nature wasn’t so thick however, and they found themselves mostly walking through dead trees and scorched ground. Usually this would bother him but now he was thankful, slightly.
(Oh, it is a mess, the way we kept having to figure it out each post was annoying. XD But you know what, I agree, it just freezes on the other side of the portal, that'll make life much easier I think. XD And yeah, it would definitely be funny. I do kinda like the idea of them somehow ending the war, it would work with the prophecy too. But like, I figure if we have the world all to ourselves, may as well make the most of it right?)
.-=-.-=-.
Lach listened and nodded, but couldn't help but let out a small huff of amusement. "A map? Really? How big can it be, it's just a tree house right?" he asked, partly amused, and a little bit worried that maybe this place really is colossal in size.

Tori nodded a bit, and decided to use a combination of techniques. "Thanks," she mouthed, then wrote out a longer reply on paper. "I might just take you up on that offer, but I find that writing is better for longer pieces of conversation. Although, texting might actually do much nicer."
~*
Celia nodded. She was leaving this up to him. After all, the last time they went to the portal, she was only half in her right mind. There was little to no memories of her time on Earth, only small patches here and there from whenever the fever let her loose from its grip. "Start walking then. I'll follow," she said, though her voice wasn't that confident.
~*
Phallon followed Rico closely. While there might not have been any people or creatures around on their journey, she didn't want to risk losing him. If they got lost, she wasn't sure if Nira would be able to help direct them in the right direction. Not to mention if the Cards spotted them, she wanted to be close to Rico. If they found themselves in trouble, she didn't want to leave him on his own, or vice versa. However, the first stretch of their trip was quiet, almost pleasant.
(And you know what? It's our plot. We can do whatever we want without having to explain ourselves. XD No one can tell us differently, lol.)
~*
"I meant a map of the surrounding land," Celia clarified, but there was a twitch to her lips, the first sign of amusement shown. "If you decide to leave my home to go exploring on your own, it's best to do so prepared. And you sorely underestimate the size of my tree house."

While she ran to get her keys, Matthias grabbed his own was waiting for the young woman in the kitchen entry. When she was back, he nodded and lead her out of the front door. Just in time too, for footsteps could be heard descending the stairs. It wasn't that he didn't want the other members of the house to meet Alexa, but rather he didn't want their guest to be too overwhelmed. Mealtimes were the most hectic in the household, so he thought it'd be best to wait for a calmer time before everyone crowded her at once. Especially if she was to stay here for a couple of days.
~*
"What do you think we'll be having for dinner?" Charles asked as they made their way back into the city. Alexa heard everyone coming out and down the stairs as soon as she was out the front door. However, before she got very far out of the house she turned around and asked Matthais, "what are we doing with Rocky? Are we leaving him here?" She didn't have a problem with it, she just wanted to know what was going to be happening with her dog. --- Amelia thought for a moment, "I don't quite know since we are coming back a little early. We'll figure it out when we get there but it will probably be something we can make pretty fast."
