whitetail "I see..." He began to separate the pile into bundles that could be used for bedding. It was certainly easier than earlier, and he'd get a bed out of it. "What's going on with your sister? Moonblaze says he was worried about her, but I can't see what's the point of worrying over a hunting trip." He paused. "Well, there did turn out to be a badger, but other than that."

Moonblaze snuck into the underbrush with Badger as he soon managed to catch the scent as well. "Yeah... yeah that's way too close, it'll come upon our camp if it decides we're too comfortable around here... But now that we know where it is... you are right it is weird that one would be out in the daylight like this... we need a proper plan here."

Creek nodded at Keynes. "Nice to meet you Keynes, I'm Creek." She joined Keynes and Rose in sorting bedding, glancing worriedly at Snowy. "Poor Snowy." She said sadly. "It is very concerning that she rand into a badger so close to camp. You don't think it would come here, do you?" She asked worriedly

Rose chuckled. "When your only 2 moons old and watch your own mother die by one. Than come back to me saying that." She explained sadly.

whitetail "Ah." That seemed to shut Keynes up, but only for a second. "I never knew my own mother." He replied. "Maybe we're the same then, in that regard."

"Agreed." Badger stood and made his way back to camp.

volchitsa4 He soon followed close behind Badger as they made their way over back to the base camp to report their findings.

"They are." Rose answered her.

Snowy looked surprised and smiled sadly. "I'll be all right. Not the first time."

Moonblaze Keynes looked up to see Moonblaze and Badger re-enter the camp. "How bad is it?" He asked.

"Well it is likely exhausted since it's normally active at night... but given what Badger and Snowy mentioned, it was out and about at this time of day... if we try to attack near sunset, it likely won't be as well rested as it should be... and we can easily take that bastard down." He looked over to Snowy again. "We have a solid plan, and thankfully if at least one other cat volunteers, we're all gonna be safe, I promise you that."

Badger glanced between Snowy and Moonblaze shrewdly, And took a seat a little away from them. "Yes, Moonblaze and I discussed it on the way back from finding it's den. We think sunset would be the best time to attack, as it emerges from it's den for the night. We need a few volunteers to help drive it away though."

Creek's ears perked up as she listened intently to the two toms report. Sitting straighter, she quickly volunteered herself. "I'll go! I wish I had been here sooner to join you in finding it, but I would love the chance defend the camp. The quicker we get rid of it the better, I say!"

Creek swished her fluffy tail with excitement. "I think we might need one other cat to volunteer, I think the more we have the better, especially against a badger!" She mewed

"Another cat?" Keynes repeated. "Who?"

"And I do think that we should be choosing a leader. Maybe someone who's not going to get eaten by a badger."
