"You can come, silly." Creek poked Keynes with her paw. "I don't think it would be very fair to ask Snowy to fight a badger. You know how to fight, surely?"
Turning to Rose, she looked around at every cat. "I'll put myself forward too, I suppose. No harm in it. Are we still allowed to vote, but obviously not for ourselves?"

"Oh." Badger blinked. "I don't want to be leader, that's for sure."

"Ah... ha ha..." Keynes laughed nervously. "Did I just volunteer for fighting that badger?" His pelt prickled at the back of his neck. "Well, I can. Obviously. I wouldn't have put myself forwards if I couldn't fight a badger."

"I know that being recognised as becoming a Clan and choosing a leader is important, but perhaps we should focus on the badger first?" Creek suggested. "We should probably try and fit in some training, and rest before this evening, shouldn't we?." Pausing to think, Creek added "Rose, as the medicine cat you could take charge of this surely? If you gather the names of every cat who wishes to vote, and maybe tomorrow the nominees can sit in the camp clearing and the cats that wish to vote for them sit with them?"

Badger nodded at Creek's suggestion. "I think it's better to focus on the badger for now too. But I would like to know, can we nominate cats other than ourselves?"

"Someone out there?" He called out looking around. "I can smell you!"

Timber  turns in the direction of the bush and walks closer until he sees the kit. He narrows his eyes at her. "Who are you?"

Timber glances around for a moment before looking back down at the kit. "Where is your mother?" He questioned lowering his voice a little. Surely, someone wouldn't leave a lone kit by themselves.

Timber lowers his head to gently pick her up. She needed someone to take care of her. Wonder if those two cats from before can help her. He thought to himself.

How should we go about the badger attack without everyone here?))

Feather looked around. She saw a feather she brought it back to rust. "Something like this?" She asked. She wondered what it would be like to sleep on a soft bed of feathers. A nest of feathers for Feather. She returned her attention to rust.

Keynes sharpened his claws anxiously on a nearby rock, preparing for his meeting with the badger. Oh, the things I do for love and attention! Why didn't I just stay quiet? He thought. Well, if anyone was going to see him as a leader, he'd have to be a real hero here first!
