Hawkheart Dawnlight looked at Sparrowkit. She was a little small, even for a kit her age, but even the tiniest kit could become a great hunter one day. She licked her gently, trying to get her to be more comfortable. The massive molly looked over to Lightsong, who seemed to be staring at her a little bit. "I think this is going to go well... Were you wanting to say something? she asked. (OOC: How old is Lightsong in moons?)

Lightsong opened her mouth to say something then changed her mind and said- " Nothing." Then she paused and said. " Yeah. It will be great!" Tagging- asrise (Dawnlight) OOC-Lightsong is 5 moons and 8 years-seasons old. Can Lightsong and Dawnlight maybe become mates later in RP? Or would Lightsong just have a crush on Dawnlight? |

"Since the naming is almost over should we start getting together the materials for nests?" Featherspark asked Rustclaw. She definitely did not want to sleep on the floor but didn't pressure him and kept her appearance neutral.

Hawkheart (OOC: Maybe a bit later! Obviously Lightsong has to admit it, but I think that Dawnlight has already clued into it (As she does). What are your ideas?) Dawnlight narrowed her eyes a little when Lightsong deflected the question, but didn't press her on it. "Featherspark and Rustclaw have the right idea. Sparrowkit needs a nice soft nest to sleep in... and so do I." She padded towards the others.

Wisteriapaw stood hoping to be given a task, she looked only seeing Rustclaw and Featherspark at the entrance. Maybe later? She thought not wanting to interrupt the warriors.

Lightsong sighed the words she had wanted to say lingered in her brain but dawnlight had already walked over to featherspark and rustclaw to get bedding. She then turned her attention to wisteriapaw sitting in the clearing and walked up to her. "Wisteriapaw. Where's your mentor roseclaw?" She asked. Tagging- asrise (dawnlight) 🎄tansypool🪿 (wisteriapaw) OOC- I think lightsong would tell dawnlight her feelings later,maybe after taking care of the kit a bit? Also if they become mates they would be the mothers to Sparrowkit. |

"Just anything soft." Rustclaw answered as he starts walking into the forest. "Keep your eye out for any moss though that shouldn't be to hard to find."
Timber takes a few steps back hoping to disappear from everything. He was happy that the kit had a name at least.

"I'm not sure... But I'm sure they'll be fine! Maybe out collecting herbs? Or collecting water?" She listed off a few ideas but in the end shrugged and stared at the dirt, her tail wrapped gracefully around her paws.

Featherspark nodded and looked around scouting for the perfect thing to put in a nest. She found a large owl feather. "Will this do?" She asked spitting out the feather in front of Rustclaw.

"Roseclaw will be back in a moment, she's just busy with something right now. He looked at the other cats. Maybe there'll be enough kits for me to get my own apprentice! He thought.

"Alright!"She smiled, her ears flicked patiently. Be patient, medicine cats are BUSY. she reminded herself silently. Which means one day YOU'LL be busy! Then you'll have cats depending on you as well. Her eye twitched lightly attempting to be positive. "Anyways thank you again!" She looked at the black cat with a positive face. her tail still wrapped tightly around her paws.

As lightsong and dawnlight looked for moss an awkward silence fell over them and lightsong walked over to a tree stump and found some moss. "I found some moss." She said to brake the silence and she twitched her tail to signal dawnlight to come over. As she raised her head she bumped into the she-cat and said quickly- "Sorry!"she said blushing As she grabbed the moss for they're dens. Tagging- asrise (dawnlight) |

Hawkheart Dawnlight shrugged, dragging back her own bundle of moss, brushing past Lightsong as they took back the moss that they had collected from the base of the tree. She noticed the blush and the way Lightsong's eyes darted away from her whenever she looked in her direction. "Don't be sorry." Dawnlight meowed. "Are you okay, Lightsong? I don't see you this jumpy most of the time."

Hawkheart OOC: (Sure!) "If you're sure..." Dawnlight meowed. The older calico started to line a nest in a small hollow close by to camp, starting on another for Lightsong as well. Still, as the two worked, Dawnlight couldn't take her mind off it. She walked out to the clearing, watching the sun sink below the trees and the sky go dark. "You know, you can tell me... I wouldn't be the cat to play tricks on you for telling the truth."

" You are an amazing cat. You may not realize it but you are. You're strong and quick and wise you're everything i want to be and more.
Dawnlight you're the cat that i want to be with the cat i want by my side...forever." Lightsong smiled and looked down feeling stronger then she ever thought she would feel. "Y our...I...I never envisioned myself with anyone before only me becoming leader of my clan and starting each new day with a fresh start and never attaching myself to anything but my clan.
