1. A medicine cat may take a mate, but must put their responsibilities first. if an other medicine cat questions their priorities, they may have to break up and in the worst cases be exiled.
2. A medicine cat may have kits IF and only if there is another medicine cats ti replace them while they care for their kits.
3. A medicine cat may only retire when their apprentice is ready to take their place.
4. A medicine cat shares dreams with only StarClan.
5. A medicine cat may only discuss dreams, prophecies, etc. with their leader or other medicine cats at the monthly meeting; dreams of an otherwise prophetic nature should not be disclosed to any outside parties, or any other cats in the Clan.

- Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from the other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
- No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or in danger, even if that kit is from a different Clan.
- a truce is held each half-moon. it shall not be broken as long as the moon is visible.
- A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
- Elders and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders.
- An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense.
- a true warrior will not leave their friends and kin behind for the world of strays.
- If a Clan member believes that their leader is no longer leading with honor and integrity, they can challenge them. Three-quarters of the Clan members, including their medicine cats, must agree. Their objections will then be presented to the leaders of the other Clans. If the other leaders agree, all medicine cats will request that StarClan remove the leader’s remaining lives and give them to the deputy. These objections cannot be raised by the deputy.
- A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
- kits may do an apprentice assessment at 5 moons old to become an apprentice early. this is same for apprentices to warriors at 11 moons old.
