(Very sorry for taking a break! :c )
Tigerthyme blushed as she covered her stomach up with her paws for a brief moment. "Ah-hah! Good idea," She laughed sheepishly. The orange and black ticked tabby bounded on with Sunblaze. The two took a slight detour to go hunting, something Tigerthyme could preform quite well. It wasn't long before she had secured a plump forest mouse, happily she trotted back towards Sunblaze, fluffy chest puffed up a bit with pride. "Mmf-youf ready?" She inquired from beyond the prey in her jaws.

(Hi there, is it possible for me to try for this one?) GlowwormGhostkit- A Black tom kit with blues eyes. He can see the spirits of cats that have passed but not entered star clan. He doesn't know what to do about this and is afraid others won't believe him. -5 moons. Status: ((lol one of my favorite children! You can tell since I made a whole clan around this theme. Sure. Post your intro when ready.)) (Just got home from work, so I'm here now. And thank you. ) From the thorn bushes near the front of the center, a golden she-cat padded carefully, her ears perked for even the slightest hint of pursuit. "Doesn't seem like anyone from the clan followed me out here, at least." She said under her breath, straightening as tall as she could to try and see as much of the area as she could, her green eyes narrowed slightly. No cat in the clan knew her dark secret, one that would get her demoted to warrior faster than you could say 'mouse'. Her family had been leaders of GraniteClan for as long as any cat could remember, but here she was, unable to bear kits, unable to continue the lineage of her family's Star Sight abilities. Once she was certain the area was clear, she continued on towards the adoption center, letting her senses guide her paws. StarClan would show themselves to the one that would see their successor, of that she was certain, which is what had brought her out here in the first place.

"I think Pumpkinkit phrased it as you have the best sense of smell out of everyone here." Basilwhisker said hoping the wolf-dog wouldn't be offended that they were asking for her help. Shasta nodded and bent forward to sniff the kit. Pumpkinkit giggled at the tickling sensation. Shasta sat back up and looked thoughtful. "Well I actually can't tell your smell from a real leaf-fall day." She explained. "I guess what I am saying is it hides your cat scent." Basilwhisker watched the wolf-dog sniff the small kit and waited for her answer. He laughed when she said it hid Pumpkinkit's cat scent. "That could be a good thing for you. I wonder how it would work with prey." He said to the orange kit.

Brindlebriar took a deep breath. "I am okay. It doesnt hurt too bad. I just wanted to make sure you two were going ot be alright." She mewed, hoping that she didnt lose the trust of the two kits by following them in there. Gemkit purred soothingly. "I'm fine. I promise." Yewkit came back a moment later with Nightsong following. The black she cat looked worried as she padded into the room. "There is a reason things we haven't checked out are off limits." She muttered as she approached. "What hurts and where?" She asked as she carefully looked Brindle over. Yewkit watched nearby quietly. She was so mad at herself. She had been acting so mouse-brained to come here and get away. She had just wanted to collect her thoughts. She should have just told Brindle her thoughts instead. Brindle listed her front left leg. "I think I fell wrong on my leg." Brindle mewed, lifting her paw for the other cat to look at. "Don't be too harsh on these kits, they didnt mean any harm, they were just needing time away from me to collect their thoughts. Ink told me this room hadnt been checked yet, which is why I followed, I just wanted to make sure they were safe. Id rather me get hurt than them." She whispered, hoping that she didn't over step by being in here and not watching Yewkit and Gemkit closer.

“... I’d like that,” said Everkit, suddenly grinning and raising her tail high. This seemed perfect to her. Then she looked after him as he hurried forward. Glade looked over. “I’m not sure. Are there specific questions you have? I have a lot of answers.” Wasppaw shook his head as he heard Tigerpaw’s question. “No. Have you?” There hadn't been a lot of adopters around as of late. But he was curious if Tigerpaw had had any interest as of late. “Do you want to stay here or go?” He thought Tigerpaw would be adopted, but she didn’t seem to think so. It was sad Stromwatcher thought for a moment before answering Glade's question. "I guess I just wondered if you knew her history. As far as I know there aren't any cats talking to her and I was wondering if she and I might be a good match for an adoption." He explained. He figured just being straight forward about the whole thing was best.
Tigerpaw looked unsure. "I haven't talked to anyone yet but I guess I don't really care if I stay or go I just want someone to want me." she felt her pelt heat up in a blush. "I sometimes think I would be better off in a clan with out powers and wings because I could be useful there but at the same time. I do like it here. There are several workers that I would love to be family with." She turned to look at him. "What about you? Do you want to stay?"
"I don't know," said Wasppaw. "I'd have to see who turns up." It was a bit had to grasp what he wanted to say. "I kinda what to find a place that I fit, but I think that's gonna depend on the cats I meet. I think, anyway." Glade, on the other paw, looked at Stormwatcher with an amused whisker twitch. "Maybe. She seems like a good kit. I think the question you should be asking is to her, not to me. But maybe. Your interest could possibly align. Maybe see how this outing goes to find out." He poked a paw into the pond water as he said this, hummed, and pulled it out again, shaking his paw. "Kinda slimy, but it seems like the pond is okay."

Sunblaze laughed at the she cat's full mouthed question. He had already put down his prey to answer. "Sure am." He picked up his prey and flicked his tail at her in a follow me motion. He led her to the two-leg mansion's front door and in through the missing pannel of glass they used as an entrance. He trotted through the rooms to the place they placed the fresh kill pile and dropped his prey. Kits and a few choice other animals were everywhere one looked. "Welcome to Glowing Paws!" He told her with a bright smile.

Normally she let the cats welcome new comers, most were afraid of other animals but surely the she cat would understand with all the kits around that she could be trusted. "Hello?" She called out quietly. "Are you looking for a kit perhaps?"

Nightsong felt down the she cats leg gingerly with her own. "I am feeling for a break." She explained. "Let me know if I do anything to painful and I will stop." She sighed. "I won't punish them even though I think keeping this room a secret from most of us was very foolish. I think these two have been scared enough by what happened. As for Ink.." She shrugged. "He wouldn't listen anyway."
Yewkit looked at gemkit and whispered something to her. Gemkit nodded frowning but smiled back at Brindle. Yewkit padded gently back through the tunnel that led to the rest of the center. "Yewkit says she wants to talk to you one on one when Nightsong finished checking you over. She is going to wait in the room some of the powerkits practice in." She explained.

Stormwatcher did a quick look around the area, sniffing the air for any sign of trouble. "I guess your right. I have never done this before though. Do you have any tips for first time adopters? I know you have a few of your own."
He watched Glade shake the slime off his paw with a disappointed look. "I am not a fan of slimy water."

Brindlebriar whined as Nightsong applied pressure to her bone. "That spot hurt just a little more than the other, its not broken is it?" Brindle asked. She had never broken a leg before, and how fun would that be? She wouldn't be able to play hide and seek like she had hoped with Jack if her leg was broke.
Brindle looked up at Gemkit a Yewkit headed out of the room. Brindles ears grew hot as Nightsong spoke disapprovingly towards the situation. "Kits will be kits." She tried to laugh, her heart thumping. "I will meet with Yewkit once we get this sorted out." She mewed to Gemkit, smiling at her.

The golden she-cat jumped slightly, leaning back on her haunches as her ears flattened in surprise. Hearing the fox talk, she blinked, her brain having to take a moment to process the fact that the fox actually spoke catspeak. "Er...yes. Yes I am." She said, forcing herself to straighten. "Forgive me, I'm not quite used to actually conversing with a fox." Having a fox around all these kits was a bit strange, and it took everything in her not to let her tail bush out nervously. "My name is Ravenstar of GraniteClan." She said, lowing her head slightly in greeting. She was still a bit wary of the fact that this was a fox, but a part of her was also curious as to why such a creature was allowed to be around kits, let alone the fact that it could actually talk to her. Were all foxes capable of such a feat or was there something special about this one? The question buzzed around the back of her mind, though she kept the curiosity shoved down for the moment.

"I don't think so. If you had broke it you would be in more pain." She rolled her eyes at the kits will be kits remark. "I think you may have sprained it. I would suggest rest and not putting a lot of weight on it." She replied. "Lets get you back to the safer rooms." Gemkit walked beside Brindle as Nightsong helped her along the passage back to the library were the medicine cats and stylers stayed. "I don't think any of us really expected to find anyone interested in adopting us at this point. Jack is still so small that we thought it was likely for him but apprentices don't get adopted as often and Poppy, Yewkit, and I have been here for a long time. Poppy has always put herself out there when meeting new cats but its never worked. Yewkit has always been different though. She has always known that being a medicine cats was more important to her than anything. She says its like her destiny so she has never felt that adoption was needed for her. She did hope it would happen though. It wasn't until she started to get crushes on other she cats that she stopped thinking it might happen. As for me, well you know about me wanting to go find my friend. It took me a while to be ok with him having left and me staying."

"I imagine there are quite a few of us here you would find strange but rest easy none will hurt you here. Is there a specific kind of kit your looking for? I can try and help you find one that you think would fit with you or you can wander around and meet different kits and see if any catches your eye."

As the small group made their way out of the room and into the little tunnel, brindle paused, wanting to speak with Gemkit before night ushered her to the medicine cats den for her sprained leg. “I understand that Yewkit was hopeful once, about finding a family, and after so many times of being let down, any smart cat would find a path different that the one they had originally hoped. Yewkit will make a wonderful medicine cat, and if she so decides to join a family with me, I just hopes she knows I will continue to encourage her to the path of her desire. I just want her to know she’s loved and she has a place with us, if you so choose.” Brindle mewed, her mind going a million miles an hour.
As the cats made it back, brindle waved her tail to Gemkit as she made her way with Nightsong.

What is the scariest thing you have ever done?" Basilwhisker nodded and thought for a moment. "Now I haven't done many scary things. But one thing that I think is pretty scary is when we had to face down a fox that was in the territory." He paused thinking about the best way to tell the story. He still felt the pain that this attack left the clan. Having lost Thymestar and Basilwhisker's mentor, Elmsong. "This fox was vicious and not anything like the foxes you've probably met. She threw an apprentice into a tree causing him to break his leg and my mentor took a big hit blocking the fox from killing him." He sighed thinking of his mentor. Could he really tell this impressionable kit about the death of two cats. Especially when the fox attack took about 4 of Thymestar's lives.

Stormwatcher seemed like a decent cat - though he'd already known that. This just added to that feeling, however. Glad padded away from the water, still shaking his paw as he did. It was a bit damp. Maybe after a bit or so, it would feel less like he'd just walked through slime. He could hope. Wasppaw also seemed to be as interested in the pond as his fellow Adoption Center-mate, since he rushed forward too. Only he didn't trip, instead ending up jumping in which quite a large splash. This left Glade with wet paws - again. Elmheart couldn't help a chuckle. Everkit, on the other paw, looked at the pond with interest, but then looked to Stormwatcher, waiting for input.

As the cats made it back, brindle waved her tail to Gemkit as she made her way with Nightsong. Nightsong led the way to the medicine den without looking back at Brindlebriar. She asked a few questions and checked out a few scratches the she cat had got while helping the kits before collecting some herbs to make into a paste to soothe the scratches. "Now I can also give you a few poppy seeds to help you with pain and to help you sleep but otherwise your done." She she cat stretched and settled into a sitting position. "Your going to be staying with us aren't you?" She asked curious about the she cat.

Pumpkinkit thought hard. "I guess I want to hear more about you. Whats your favorite prey? No wait thats to easy a question. Pumpkinkit nodded somberly at the story of the fox attack. "Yeah the foxes that live here aren't like that but alot of us have met ones that were mean. When you live in a adoption and rescue clan you get used to meeting cats with sad stories." He looked up at Basilwhisker his eyes glinting gently. "That's why I try so hard to make others smile."
