"What would that even do to help We don't know well enough about signs from Starclan and all that. And even if it worked," She sighed, "We don't know how to navigate the territory because we are kits!!" Her voice was still very quiet, but noticeably annoyed. |

Geckokit was surprised that it was Snakekit who protested first. And loudly at that, to the point he worried that the older cats overheard. To his relief, none of them seemed to.
“That’s not true! I’ve been outta camp before. All we have to do now is follow Coaststar’s scent. And I don’t know how it will help, but no one else is thinking about stuff like that at all! Is it better to just sit around and do nothing? If something happened, there might be clues at the Sacred Place.”
How are we even related?!? Geckokit asked himself this nearly every day. Snakekit and Crocodilekit always seemed so cautious and boring only liking games that they deemed as non-troublesome. And now his littermates were acting like they were only a moon or 2 old, not a little under half a moon away from being apprentices. He understood Snakekit for being like that; she got nervous easily. But Crocodilekit was just a stick in the mud most of the time.
While he did want to help Coaststar and the older cats, that wasn’t the only reason Geckokit wanted to leave camp of course. He was also bored. Very bored. So bored that he was nearly driven to tears. A trip out of camp seemed fun. And it could help the clan somehow too.
Decided to split this into two posts. Hopefully the second half won’t have to be edited too much. XD |

Sorry for not being around. Life caught up with me and I got busy. I have to worka long shift today but I shouldbe able to get tesponses up sometime tonight or rhis weekend. Again, sorry for being gone)

He glanced around, seeming almost scared someone may have heard his brother's plan and punish them simply for the thought of doing it. "And there's nothing we'd be able to do once there anyways." |

kit ~ he/him ~ 5 moons ”Look, if you don’t want to go, that’s okay. I can go by myself. Because good clanmates help each other!” Geckokit got up and turned around.
“Just don’t snitch. Mom wouldn’t understand,” he added over his shoulder. Moms worried too much over stuff like this, and there was no reason for her to worry. He would be back before she even knew he was gone.
Geckokit darted away from his littermates and headed towards the rear of the camp, away from prying eyes. He knew from Egretpaw ways to sneak out of camp and it didn’t take him long to find a way out. The kit pushed himself thru the barrier and emerged on the other side. He paused to look around and scent the air before tentatively setting his paws on a path that took him away from camp.
And he’s out! Yes, he’s a rash idiot and a troublemaker. But he’s my rash idiot and troublemaker.
There’s no doubt in my mind that he snuck out of camp before. |

His eyes went wide as his brother all but darted off, not giving him any chance whatsoever to stop him. "Geckokit! Stop!" He followed after him, his worry and cautious nature overshadowed by his protectiveness over his family, his protectiveness over his siblings. If he let him go alone and he got hurt he would feel guilty forever. "Slow down! We really shouldn't do this. Come on, let's go back. You should just tell the warriors about your idea and they can go look around. Or better yet just tell the medicine cats."
