Zei Some back alley near the tea shop, probably | With No One (@open)
Zei sighed in annoyance as she hovered in the back alley of a tea shop—it was a historical place, one she was almost too familiar with. After all, it was founded by family. The famous Iroh. Zei had heard stories of him passed down from generation to generation. Truly a remarkable man.
Unfortunately, Zei wasn’t here for tea.
Inhaling sharply, Zei tapped her foot against the ground and pulled out her phone to check the time. ”He’s late,” she muttered out loud and a large, snow leopard caribou let out a noise of utter disgruntlement behind her as her mount and longtime friend Sayaka settled onto the floor of the alleyway.
Zei reached over to pet Sayaka. ”I know, girl, but this is the price we pay for freelance work,” she whispered and folded her arms, looking out the alleyway. ”He’ll be here soon, we’ll discuss our next job, find my brother sulking somewhere and get the hell out of here,” Zei promised, her brows furrowed as she waited for her latest “employer” to appear.

( Aaa I'm really happy that you like them! ;a; I'm always nervous when introducing my characters-! I do think Oz & Yu will be fun to write! They have the same tagline as the Transformers though haha~
And I totally agree! Daiyu would definitely get along well with Reign~ She seems like such a sweetheart~ There may be a few hiccups at first because he thinks there should be prestige attached to the role of Avatar and might act accordingly- but in the end he can be surprisingly down to earth. Funny, for an airbender-
And I'm glad you're catching onto Oz's vibes! My initial thought for him was 'cool older brother'. He'd definitely have a motorcycle and pretend not to care about your problems while simultaneously working to solve them lol
Daiyu would likewise think Mika is 'cool as hell' because. The confidence to flirt!? And I love his Sokka vibes!
I totally get you with needing to write before you can definitively say anything about your characters- mine have switched up on me so many times...
I also look forward to seeing everyone's interactions! With Zei and Lanfen, we're slowly getting the band together~
But ah. I'm embarassed- I thought Uncle Iroh's was the name of the teashop from your post but I'm guessing it's just a nickname? ;;; Let me fix that! )

Oh, sorry, that might be a mistake on my part! I know in the show, Iroh names it the Jasmine Dragon, but didn’t consider that it could’ve been renamed as time went on!

-- i think The Jasmine Dragon is the tea shop Iroh opened in Ba Sing Se, so we can always just say it branched out and Zuko wanted to name at least one of the shops after his uncle after he passed? Or maybe its a whole different chain of tea shops zuko had built in his uncles honor !
Whichever works and makes the most sense works for me. I was going with Uncle Iroh's Tea Shop purely as an idea of a tea shop that was created in Iroh's honor :3 but if we want it to be jasmine dragon thats okay too! It's all flexible tbh. -- |

Idk if i mentioned the idea of this being set in a more modern timeline?? closer to like,, how we live now. I say that since TLOK had vehicles and mech suites and what not :3 so i figured that by the time reign is avatar - which is like,, two avatars after korra - theyve developed some kind of road system and phones and such (though, some nations can still be very traditional - i'm thinking the airbenders mightve stayed traditional???? but just the ones in the temples and not the repubi c city temple? Does that make sense?)
ALSO I'll do replies tmrw !! :3 i am free this weekend thankfully and have sm muse. my week's been hectic so im supper stoked to actually have time to sit and write this weekend. -- |
