“Thank you.” Urchin said quietly as he took the mouse and watched as the cat bandaged his leg. “I’m mighty grateful. I think I can take care of myself from here… although if possible maybe I’d like to talk to the leader of your ‘clan’? I’ve watched your cats swim around in the water and I think I’d like to try to join if possible.”

MoonSky nodded, "GulfStar is kind, he aceptted my mate, kits, and I after all," another chuckle escaped him, "About 4 moons ago half the apprentices were rouges," he glanced out to the rain, "I'll come check on you tommorrow, maybe even bring GulfStar himself if I can convince him," he dipped his head in farwell to Urchin, "Be careful, that wound is pretty nasty, I wouldn't recomend walking much yet."

After MoonSky returned to camp he poked his head inside the nursery. ViperMoon was asleep along with her three kits. "Hi," A voice said beside him and he nearly jumped out of hs fur, "Oh erm- hi Tidepaw," he told his daughter, Was she there the whole time? "I was checking on the queens, hows your apprenticship?" "Not much so far, DrizzleHeart hasn't taken me out to train yet.." she looked down saddly, "I could bring you outside tommorrow if she can't," "Really? Thanks dad," He nodded and headed into the nursery, careful not to disturb the newly born kits, he dipped his head respectfully at Lavender and then curled up next to BloomFlower, "StarClan, have I got a story for you," he murmered to her.

Vipermoon woke up with a small yawn, her copper eyes flickering open. She wrapped her tail around the kits sleeping at her belly, looking down at them with a soft expression. It felt strange for them to be here; she hadn't been fully prepared for the emotions surging through her. Never in her life had she felt this much love for somebody, in a way even more than Shadewing. They are my own, she thought with a jolt. These are my kits. Gently she pulled them closer to her face, inspecting every small nose and whisker. They were perfect in all respects. As she gazed at them, she felt her heart fall as she saw little Skykit not breathing but snuggled next to his siblings. She looked up as Shadewing entered the den, trying to keep the tears from her eyes. "We'll... we'll have to set up a time to bury him, my little brave one." A tear rolled down her cheek as her throat became tight. "Such a brave and courageous little kit," she murmured. "he's bravely plunging into something we will not know for moons to come. I know he will be the best kit in Starclan."

Vipermoon smiled at him, purring as he snuggled her and the kits. “Hopefully they’ll be compassionate and kind like you.” She gently nuzzled one of the toms away from the other as he tried to shove them to get at her belly. “There’s plenty for all of you,” she said with a small laugh. “No need to try to starve your brother.” The tom huffed almost silently but went back to suckling immediately. “Perhaps they’ll have some spunk like my mother. She’d be so proud of all of them.” She sighed in contentment as she nuzzled Shadewing. It was cozy in the den, and she soon felt sleepy again. But then her stomach grumbled and she sighed. “Would you be a dear and get me a mouse please? It would make me very happy.”

“I never said I don’t like crabs,” she protested. “I just don’t feel like cracking through the outer shell after kitting! A soft mouse sounds much better.” After he came back with a mouse she gave him a purr and began eating it with relish. When she had finished it she gave a contented sigh. It felt good to have a cozy den to sleep in, and a full belly. The kits had mostly stopped suckling and now were sleeping. She gazed at them for a few moments, then pulled Skykit up to her face where she began grooming his slightly warm little body. “Shadewing,” she said in a soft voice, “will you go get Gulfstar for me please? I want to speak to him about a burial.”

Otterkit padded out of the nursery with a yawn, sitting outside the bramble walls. With a joyous mew, she leaped up and prodded a small leaf, her tiny paws battering the walls of the den.

Gulfstar || Talking with Shadewing and Vipermoon || ✦⚝Stormscar⚝✦ Ravenshadow

He noticed Shadewing, the father of a new litter heading towards him and he quickly stood. The pain of loosing a kit at birth had washed over him and he dipped his head towards the warrior. "Is everything alright?" He asked Shadewing as he watched his own kit, Otterkit play with a leaf.

The sleek gray she-cat peeked into the nursery, looking for Tidepaw. Her eyes fell on Moonsky and Bloomflower in one corner and Vipermoon with her kits in another. Somewhat near the entrance was Tidepaw. "Congratulations, Vipermoon." She dipped her head at the she-cat before motioning with one paw for Tidepaw to follow her. "Come on out, Tidepaw, we're going to train."
