Flowerfur|Hunting with Mothstar|Hawkeyes258
Flowerfur nodded, following Mothstar down the steep slope. When they got to the bottom, she followed her leader to a small swath of trees, where hunting was good. Flowerfur opened her scent glands and instantly smelled rabbit. She signaled for Mothstar to stay where they were. "I'll chase to to you, be ready," Flowerfur crept to the other side of the small animal, making sure not to make a sound. Then, when she got to the right side, she ran at it, making sure to snap a few twigs on her way. The rabbit bolted, running straight to Mothstar.

Mothstar waited for a moment before racing forward and pounces on the rabbit. She holds the rabbit down and bites down on it's neck killing it. She climbs off and looks up at Flowerfur. "Good job!"

Flowerfur grinned as Mothstar killed the rabbit, then padded up to her leader. "Great Catch, should we bring it back now or continue hunting?" She asked Mothstar, the scent from the dead rabbit making her slightly hungry. |
