“I wonder how they managed to bring Pokémon back to life, that is amazing!” Nova gushed, wanting to see the Pokémon for herself now. “I plan on going that way next as well. Um.. would you perhaps like to keep traveling with me, since we’re heading the same way? I hear that most trainers tend to stick together in small groups.” She suggested tentatively, hoping that Liliana would agree. Lilina inwardly felt a surge of relief, though she did her best to remain calm and polite as she smiled. “If you don’t mind it, I certainly wouldn’t mind it! I was hoping I wouldn’t have to travel all of this journey alone. Besides, uhm… with how easy you made it for me to catch my Surskit, I might need your good luck and skills a few more times to fill up the team.” She teased, half-joking, before she held out her hand. “I’ll shake on it… travel partners.” |

Nova shook Liliana’s hand with her own excitedly, “I can’t wait to see where this journey will take us! I used to hear so many stories from the trainers that were always passing through my hometown, I can only hope that we experience the same kind of adventures.” She said, her excitement clearly showing in her eyes.

Nova shook Liliana’s hand with her own excitedly, “I can’t wait to see where this journey will take us! I used to hear so many stories from the trainers that were always passing through my hometown, I can only hope that we experience the same kind of adventures.” She said, her excitement clearly showing in her eyes. “That would be nice. Having a grand adventure. Even if I don’t win the league, I want to travel and see as much as I can.” Lilina nodded her agreement, speeding up a bit as she could make out the tall buildings of Jubilife City through the trees. “Almost there, Nova!” |

“I can’t wait to see the city!” Nova said, turning her head to look for the lights of Jubilife City. She had never been outside of her hometown before, and was more than excited to see more of the world, “Have you been there before?” She asked Liliana.

She had never been outside of her hometown before, and was more than excited to see more of the world, “Have you been there before?” She asked Liliana. “Mhm.” Lilina hummed a bit distractedly, seeming to speak with a vagueness that didn’t invite much questioning. “I went with my dad a few times, a while back. Not so much anymore, but now that I’m traveling, I can go where I like.” She smiled again, stepping off the dirt and grass and onto the beginning of the asphalt and stone of the city street. “Oh. Do you have a Poketch? I got a ticket for one a while back, but I already have mine. Would you like to get one?” She offered. |

The idea of having her own Pokétech was exciting, but she didn’t want to take advantage of Liliana’s generosity and kindness towards her. As they grew closer to the city, she couldn’t help but feel not just excitement, but nervousness as well. Her hometown was rather small, and Jubilife City would certainly be the first big city she’s ever been to.

Once she had finished paying for her new mask, Echo made her way down to meet Valentino and Carter. She inspected the mask for a moment before putting it on, adjusting it slightly to fit. “This might take some time to get used to.” She said to herself.

Carter had finished his shopping and was waiting on the bottom level of the department store. He was fiddling with his phone, typing down some notes and sending a few texts to people back at the lab.

“You look like a deviant undercover mistress, hellbent on revenge in the dark of the night towards an unfaithful spouse.” Valentino spoke with a dramatic flare, before he flashed a cheeky grin and nodded. “Jokes aside, it looks fine. Go in a large enough crowd and you can hide under people’s noses.” He waved his hands.
“Chop chop. Let’s not leave Carter waiting, yes?”

Echo rolled her eyes at Valentino and followed him out. “Well, boys. This has been fun, but I think it’s time I take my leave.” She said once they had reached Carter. As much as she enjoyed spending time with her old friends, there were things that she needed to take care of. “I’m glad I ran into you two though. It felt like the old days for a bit there.”

Valentino seemed to hesitate only for the quickest of moments, before his usual charming smile creased over the faint disappointment he felt at having to say good-bye to her so soon. He humored. “Well. Don’t be a stranger, my dear. Hearthome City is always here to serve our esteemed League Champion. And do be sure to rest between your adventures, you never could pamper yourself for a day or two.” He reminded, waving his finger knowingly.
