love letters to a stranger
It all started by coincidence, really. Muse A wasnβt planning on anything to happen; when they left that note in the crack in the wall they were just hoping for someone to pick it up, read it and then throw it away. Writing it down had been enough and nothing else was supposed to come of it, they were just bored is all. Nevertheless, it did start something extraordinary. Muse B later spotted that very same note, and after reading it carefully, left another, this one written like a letter. Muse A finds this one and leaves a reply, and so started the epistolary friendship/romance of Muse A and Muse B.
(this plot will be told, at least at first, through the letters they write to each other. if they ever meet maybe we can deviate from that, but as i'm currently very much fascinated by stories told this way. i'd like to keep the plot true to that spirit while it makes sense.)

below you can find a list of the genre's and tropes i'm a fan of. those that are bolded/ underlined are of especial interest right now. they will also be split into fandoms, other and things i won't do. in the list of fandoms, those that are italicised i already have a plot written for, but that doesn't mean we'll end up using that plot, it just means there's an idea there. this may be combined with bold and underlined. if you can't find what you're looking for here, you may of course still suggest it, though i may decline if i think my muse for that is too low.

hi there! i actually just posted a similar thread :'^) it seems like we're looking for the same thing in a partner! it looks like this could work omg and, i have to say, that love letter to a stranger plot is just. adorable. i high key would love to do that with you!
edit: i'm gonna be a bit less active, but i'll probably be online at least once or twice every couple days. i'll generally be more active on weekends. also, it's great that you tend to roleplay girls because i tend to make male characters!

hi! i just read your thread and it seems that we're basically looking for the same thing, so this works out perfectly, i think ^^ i'm so glad to hear you say that, i've been hoping for someone to ask for it for the longest time. i'd love to rp it with you!
that's absolutely fine, i completely understand! thanks for letting me know, though.

alright, awesome! so uh, heh, i already kinda have a character i'd like to use for this thread. z is my little angel and he's just so perfect, he would be great for this plot also, what was the age range you were thinking for this? young adult aged?
Ezekiel ("Z") Ben Haim // Male One could easily call Ezekiel an attractive young man, but in a somewhat ordinary sense, since he has no real extraordinarily rare physical traits. He stands at roughly 6β2β, making him somewhat taller than the average adult male. However, heβs as thin as a rail with a lanky frame due to his fast metabolism, but he does have some modest slender muscle on his arms and abs, most notably. And, almost embarrassingly, the rest of his traits are stereotypically Hebrew. Ezekiel has wild dark brown hair that curls and frizzes into a modest, shoulder-length afro (though he often ties it back in a small bun or ponytail, since it gets in his eyes rather often). His are a light brown, almost amber hue, and his skin is tanned rather nicely due to long days in the sun. His skin is also mostly free from blemishes, but like any young adult, heβs prone to getting a spot of acne every once in a while. Overall, he projects a rather nonthreatening image, and heβs someone your mother would encourage you to take to homecoming. Most likely, if youβve had even a small encounter with Ezekiel, youβll find that heβs one of the nicest people you could meet. He is known for his constant generosity and kindness, and heβll do literally almost anything for a total strangerβthereβs very little he wonβt do for his family and friends. Heβs got a pure heart and generally assumes the best in people, making him somewhat naΓ―ve. Ezekiel is one of those individuals that just radiates positivity and happiness, with a contagious smile and laugh; when heβs having a bad day, itβs very easy to tell, since his trademark wide smile wonβt be there. Heβs extremely loyal and devoted to those he cares about, but ironically, heβs a bit awkward and shy in social settings. He wonβt be one to start a conversation, but will talk his head off once you engage him. He also, strangely enough, has a serious side, especially when working on a task, and wonβt quit until itβs completed. Ezekiel was born in Jersusalem, Israel (did I mention that he's bilingual in English and Hebrew?) to a single mother. The two left the country when he was about 15 years old, and has lived in the United States ever since.

sunny (is that alright with you?) - he looks perfect! i'll find a suitable character as well c: would you mind rping in a different thread/pms? if so, would you prefer one over the other?
robin - hey, great! did you have anything you'd like to do already (genre, plot, premise, etc) or no?

oh yeah, sunny's totally fine! alright, cool! and i would probably prefer a different thread, but it's up to you. i'm good with either way c:
edit: i've just discovered the world of pm's and it's amazing. we can do that if you like!

hey c: I'd be interested in rping something with you, maybe along the lines of Harry Potter or the 100. the ideas of rivals to a relationship is also interesting.

sunny - i've actually not rped through pms in the longest time, i can't recall doing it on here even once, haha, oops. i don't mind either way, whichever is easier for you works with me.
robin - if i was to be given a free choice of those, i think i'd probably have to choose percy jackson if only because i haven't written anything in that universe for the longest time and i miss it. would that be alright with you?
ultramarine - is there one there you'd prefer over the others? i really don't mind any way, so if you have any preference i say we go with that.

robin - great, thanks! i have a few vague ideas if you'd like to hear them, none of them have been fully developed into fully fledged plots yet, though.

sure c: that works for me! i'm only up to the end of season two, you should probably know that, but otherwise i see no issue with it.
i'm actually heading off now to get some reading in before i inevitably fall asleep, so this is my last post for the night. sorry to cut this conversation short before it even started.

that's totally fine! the world has been pretty well established by that point. I'm sure we can work out a good plot when you're back online.
no problem, you go read your book. I'm actually about to go do the same thing (not sleeping yet though, it's still very early evening where I am)

great! do we want a plot more focused on romance or politics or something else entirely?

|
|
Post by Mα΄ΚΚΙͺΜΙ’α΄Ι΄ on Sept 9, 2016 21:01:29 GMT -5
Maybe a mix of both? I'm a sucker for romance, but I do like having more stuff going on in the plot - so political sounds great.

i guess the kind of politics we bring in depend on when on the timeline we want the plot to take place. before, just after the 100 landed or after the alliance with the grounders?
|
|
|
Post by Mα΄ΚΚΙͺΜΙ’α΄Ι΄ on Sept 10, 2016 14:29:09 GMT -5
true. I always liked the politics between the grounders and the sky people, so maybe we could do something after forging the alliance?

|
Post by π¨π°ππ₯π¦π― π΄πΆπ― on Sept 11, 2016 13:16:19 GMT -5
that works by me! would we want to do something between a grounder and a sky person then, or two sky people/two grounders? i don't mind either way.
|
|
|
Post by Mα΄ΚΚΙͺΜΙ’α΄Ι΄ on Sept 11, 2016 18:33:34 GMT -5
Grounder x sky could be a cause for more drama, because even if they're allied there are still tensions between the two groups, I guess. Would you prefer mxf, mxm or fxf?

|
Post by π¨π°ππ₯π¦π― π΄πΆπ― on Sept 12, 2016 15:04:45 GMT -5
very true. works for me. i don't really mind. i've been doing a lot of fxf when it comes to the 100 specifically, for some reason, so either mxf or mxm would be a nice change, but really i'm fine with whatever.

That actually works well because I'm kind of in the mood to do a male character. I'm fine with either depending on what gender you'd prefer your character to be. Also would you prefer the grounder or the sky person?

i'm basically playing just female characters right now, so if it'd be alright with you having them be a guy would be great for my muse, if nothing else. the sky person, if that's okay with you?

Ummm.. not really. Should we make a separate thread?
