Wrenpaw - Mothwind, Falconeye, Honeydusk (( I am so obsessed with Clangen rn lol, I used Catgen by nimaereth! It's not an easy download tho I recommend watching a video on how to download it, that's what I had to do since you need thonny and I've never used it before ))
Wrenpaw tipped her head at the acknowledgement from the warrior, looking satisfied with herself but not an overwhelming amount. She was quite humble, as much as an apprentice could be anyway, and telling by how she spoke and held herself it wasn't hard to see she had to grow up quite quickly. She was a very young apprentice still, but she acted like a fresh warrior at most. Having to fend for yourself and protect your weakened brother from wolves after watching your parents get torn apart would do that to a cat. Wrenpaw knew a lot of these cats around her now have gone through similar, just with varying circumstances, so of course she would not wail like a kit over it. At least, not out loud. She was hoping this patrol would take her mind off of it all for a while, as long as Falconeye stayed out of her way. Hunting was her favorite thing to do and she would not let the tom ruin whatever solace she could find.

CLOUDBERRY " Oh!" Cloudberry's ears pricked as she noticed Coppertwist, " well, good to have another pair of paws." She mustered up a warm look for the warrior, glancing at Birchfog from the corner of her eye. One Breezeclan cat was intense enough, but two? Stars above. She also had the sneaking suspicion that Mothwind and by extension, under the sharp eyes of Coppertwist himself, doubt on her ability to take care of issues was abound. The she-cat bit back a sigh, ruffling up her fur against the slight breeze. More paws were good! Just focus on that. CRAGFUR The elder inclined their head to the apprentice, stalling for a long moment as they cast about for the young cat's name, " ...Pebblepaw. I'm fine, worry about yourself." Cragfur mewed at last, though not unkindly. They always did have a soft spot for the young ones. Mothwind's voice cut across the clearing, singling out the elder and the small group nearby. They held their tongue till Mothwind was well out of sight, and then let out a loud grumbling sigh. Cragfur could appreciate the she-cat's quote on quote passion- to an extent. But they were half convinced if the Breezeclan deputy was any more wound up, her ears would pop straight off her head! Nevertheless, the elder put their paws underneath themself, shaking out their dull coat with another muttered curse.

(snow and i have stories about clangen xD so much fantastic drama)
Mothwind held in her sigh of annoyance. A deputy showed better control. But she did pull farther away from him. "We are hunting as a group, Falconeye." She answered without looking at the tom. "And you will treat our new clanmates with respect. Warriors are warriors; we all follow the same code and earn our names." Now she gave him a sharp glare to get her message across. Unfortunately, he was used to such looks and merely shrugged, that bright look in his eyes still present. So long as they had to work together, they would have to get used to each other.
In truth, Mothwind wanted Falconeye as far from her as possible. His mistakes still stung given she was the one who'd appointed him head of the patrol originally. But to err was part of life and she could not hold that to him for the rest of his, as unfortunate as the effects of this particular one had been. The warrior was still skilled and she intended to put those skills to good use. She'd been debating sending him instead of Coppertwist, but, while she was willing to give him a chance to redeem himself as reliable, she did not trust his judgement so quickly just yet. He would have to prove himself to her. And, unfortunately, to do that she had to keep an eye on him. Hopefully he wouldn't waste it.
"Thank you, Honeydusk." Addressing the she-cat more gently, she nodded. Slowing her pace, she allowed the former Oakclan cat to take a more leading position in the patrol. Glancing down at her apprentice, she purred slightly. "Well thought, Wrenpaw." With a flick of her tail, she added "Who knows. Maybe the we'll find traces of prey easier in the ash."

Hi Jaybun! - I've pretty much stop rping here, but I've loved the plot and everything, so I'd really love a second change. I ask that you delete my current chracter, but If it's still open (And I compltely understand if it's too late and I can't join, so no pressure) I'd like to create a new character. Thanks so much for your consideration.

(( I just googled the generator you used and it is absolutely boggling, can you tell I don't mess with codes? LOL Very impressive ))
((The stories are wild and I would love to share!))
Falconeye resisted the urge to roll his eyes at her tone and shrugged it off instead, immensely pleased that she still chose to spend time with him. The OakClan cat and apprentice must be a cover up on how much she misses me. He let out a pleased purr at that thought and trotted back up to her side "Of course, of course Mothwind. Whatever you say my dear. I play nice with the other warriors." Falconeye attempted to appease the smaller she cat, it wouldn't do him any good to blow her cover wide open. The apprentice is still very young after all.
Honeydusk could not resist rolling her eyes at the tom's obvious lie but proceeded to take the lead with a nod towards Mothwind and with a twitch of her tail, she raised her voice a bit louder. "The firestorm burnt most of everything to the ground; there would be unstable trees and no cover so we will need to be more observant than usual. If the prey started to return, it might be where the storm first started in the training grounds.." Her voice trailed off at that, her tail lowering as she remembered that day. With a shiver, she forced that memory to the very corners of her mind and quickened her pace. The faster they get this done with, the less time she had to remiss about.

Sorry it's been a minute. Happy to see lots of new faces around! =^.^= Stoatpaw - Herb Hunting - Birchfog, Cloudberry, Coppertwist The brown tom searched through his little brain for the smell of borage, "Um, is that one more sweet? Or, no, is it bitter? I really just remember the purple flowers and hairy stems. They kinda look like weird little flower porcupines if you think about it..." as Stoatpaw rambled a bit about the looks of borage, he was caught a off guard by the sudden presence of the reddish brown tom in their patrol. Stoatpaw hadn't socialized much, especially outside of his clan, so he wasn't too comfortable with most of the non Marshclan cats. The medicine cats, elders, and queens were pretty much the only ones he spent time with. As the tom approached, he lost whatever confidence he was starting to portray. "Oh hi. Um, what's your name again?" He looked up at the tom's blue eyes with his wide yellow ones, his tail slowly dropping. Shadestep - Camp - Yewpaw, Cragfur, Pebblepaw, mentions Mothwind Shadestep flicked her tail in annoyance at Mothwind's demands. She was not unfamiliar with these as the she-cat was her deputy in Breezeclan, but even there she cared little for the deputy's directions. Often she was only commanded to do whatever she had been doing, as the black she-cat often had the insight to know what needed to be done. It simply felt redundant and showy to the older she-cat, though she supposed that was because the deputy always seemed to have something to prove. Ever since she found out about the cat's heritage, Shadestep was able to key into how so many frivolous interactions were based solely on Mothwind and Coppertwist's half-clan status. She and her sibling Birchfog faced some of the same struggles having been born outside the clan, though seemingly to a lesser intensity. It appeared to Shadestep that to be born outside and join the clan was better than being born of two Clan bloodlines, probably for the questionability of loyalty or whatever. It was all a bunch of clan hogwash to her. Regardless, Shadestep stood up from behind Yewpaw. "Well then, I suppose we should get out of the camp and get some fresh air. Pebblepaw was it? I'd be happy to check out this area of moss you've seen. That sound like a wonderful place to start." the black she-cat readied the apprentices and elder to head out of the camp. As Shadow diverted to join the party, Shadestep caught him before he got too close. "Why don't you stay out of sight but in earshot. I don't need Yewpaw going into another emotional spell with you here." the she cat met the tom's eyes with an intensity she didn't normally carry. She did not know exactly what was going on in this family of Creekclan cats, but she didn't want to continue the drama if she could help it. She was a little irritated that Mothwing had sent him specifically on this patrol for exactly that reason. Shadestep gave a stern nod, then turned to help lead the moss gathering patrol. "Alright Pebblepaw, why don't you lead the way?" she said to the smaller silver tom. Amberheart, Skyfall - on route to Breezeclan territory - Hawkheart, Rowanfern Amberheart chuckled to her sister as they followed the Creekclan cats out of the camp. "I don't think I could see anything but the number of fleas on his tail" she snorted. Skyfall, hearing some quiet laughing between the sisters, gave their tail a flick in amusement, which had the side effect of bapping Amberheart in the face. "Hey watch where you point that thing!" she exclaimed through a mouthful of fur. She batted the silver tail with her orange paws. "Oh, sorry, not used to being in front" the silver cat was a tad slow with his limp and it caused him to fall just a few steps behind in formation, enough to bap the she-cat with their tail apparently. "Why don't I just take the rear?" they let the she-cats pass by, eyeing them with intrigue. before picking back up in the rear of the patrol. Amberheart shivered as they locked yellow eyes for just a moment before passing by him. "Gosh they are just a wierdo" she huffed to her sister under her breathe. Skyfall, trying to make casual conversation, picked up as if nothing had happened. "So what's everybody's favorite prey? I'm preferential to squirrels personally" he mused aloud.

Shadow (TW: Animal death mentioned)He glared at ShadeStep, his lip curling as the she-cat hissed at him, her eyes narrowed. How dare she act like I'm such an insufferable father? He thought angrily, his claws digging into the earth. I could easily kill her, just how I killed BriarDust. He could imagine it already, digging his claws into her black fur, her eyes fading to a blank stare, as he shook her to the ground. Dropping her into the dust as she bled out, and leaving her body for the crows to pick away, never to be found. Of course, I can't do that. He thought. Or, at least, not yet. Perhaps one day. YewPaw rolled her eyes, annoyed by the bickering, when they could be doing much more, well, useful, things. "It doesn't really matter," she mewed quickly, flicking her tail. Why create a scene with tension? "Lets just get headed out..." AcePaw (open for interaction!)
AcePaw noticed PebblePaw, YewPaw, ShadeStep, CragFur and MothWing gathered in a large group, discussing. He was aware of ShadeStep glaring into the eyes of Shadow, and then Shadow glaring back, his eyes a dangerous fire. AcePaw shivered, his eyes narrowing. I know that look. HAWKHEART - Amberheart, Rowanfern, Skyfall This time he couldn't stifle his amusement, glancing back at the rest of the group with crescented-eyes. " Prey, Skyfall really?" Hawkheart teased the other tom, with a grin, feeling lighter than he had in quite a while. And with that realization brought a sense of melancholy he quickly shrug away. Hawkheart turned to the area around them, looking this way and that as they began to officially cross into Breezeclan territory.

Birchfog - herb hunting, nearing MarshClan border - with Cloudberry, Coppertwist & Stoatpaw Birchfog was able to make out Coppertwist's presence easily from the sound of his pawsteps. Although he would have mistaken him for Mothwind, the large tom wasn't hard to notice at all. His greeting was less than friendly in Birchfog's opinion. Despite the fact that Coppertwist was half OakClan and half BreezeClan, the medicine cat never found it to be bothersome. Not many of the cats in their newfound clan bothered Birchfog. Maybe their past as a loner simply helped them in a way.
"Nice of you to join us, Coppertwist," the white and black cat remarked, flicking their stocky tail at the warrior. Their yellow gaze caught Cloudberry's glance and they glanced back reassuringly. "Today we're gathering borage and other herbs near the MarshClan border. After that, Stoatpaw suggested that we try to find some bodies of our deceased clanmates. They deserve a proper burial."
It appeared that Cloudberry wasn't too comfortable with a second BreezeClan cat. Birchfog shrugged their shoulders, allowing the permanent queen's reaction to dissipate. There is no difference between the clans anymore, they reminded themself. The healer returned their focus to Stoatpaw, silently hoping that the young tom knew what borage looked, smelled, and tasted like. "Bitter. Borage tastes as bitter as burdock root and even tansy. You're right, Stoatpaw, they are purple flowers with hairy stems," Birchfog informed, realizing that they had a slew of questions for the brown tom. "Borage helps with fevers, bad bellies, and tightness in one's chest. We will need it once whitecough comes around."
Coming to a pause, the white and black medicine cat wanted to think through their questions carefully. They didn't mind stepping on others' toes so to speak, but if they were going to be Stoatpaw's mentor, this information would be vital. "How long did you train with your former mentor, Stoatpaw? If we need to go over all the herbs and their usages again, we will do it. We do not have any room for error."
Rowanfern - BreezeClan territory - with Amberheart, Skyfall & Hawkheart Rowanfern didn't want to admit it, but Hawkheart was right-- checking BreezeClan's territory for the wolves was necessary. She wasn't going to tell him that just yet anyways. Maybe another day when she would feel more welcomed by the CreekClan cats. As soon as she saw Amberheart get bapped in the face by Skyfall's tail, she stifled a mrrow of amusement.
"Looks like his tail isn't full of that many fleas after all, Amberheart!" she quipped, hurrying forward after Skyfall chose to take up the rear. Despite the silver cat having a limp, at least he was somewhat efficient. Hearing her sister's comment, Rowanfern couldn't help but snort. "Obviously," she meowed underneath her breath.
Once Skyfall asked about their favorite prey, the white and ginger tabby slowed down. "He's got a point," she replied, flicking her tail towards Hawkheart. "That's the only topic you could pick for a conversation? Prey?"
Rowanfern noticed they were passing into BreezeClan's territory as unwanted memories washed over her. If anything it was more like trauma. "I suppose if you really want to know, I prefer finches," the warrior commented nonchalantly. She decided to change the subject to avoid any awkwardness. "Should we look for the wolves now? Or are we hunting first?"

Coppertwist stared down at the apprentice for a moment. Despite his almost constant bad attitude he was never intentionally cruel. He averted his gaze as he spoke "Coppertwist." He turned his attention to Birchfog as the other cat enlightened him on what they were all doing. At the mention of their clanmates his ears fell slightly, even though he was close with very few cats, if any, it was a tragedy how many lives had been lost. "then I'm glad Mothwing sent me." He said her name with resentment, of course his sister would be the deputy of their new clan as well. She had to prove herself everywhere she went. She probably deserved the title but Coppertwist would never admit that aloud. He watched his sister push and push herself to her limits to become accepted by a clan that was no more. Now they were all one broken clan. He turned his piercing eyes to Cloudberry, unsure of what to say to the queen she was treating him with kindness but she had caught her glancing at Birchfog. He didn't try to decipher the look, he had never been great with things like that anyway. He would take her kindness at face value. Maybe he would even find time to run off and find some peace and quiet later.
(Sorry still trying to get into the groove of things I'll get a bit better the more I get into it! )

HAWKHEART - Rowanfern, Amberheart, Skyfall Hawkheart hummed to Rowanfern's question, eyes flicking about the territory in view once more, " I'm partial to checking the general area, briefly. If that's amenable to all of you?" He was well aware of his deputy's (and oh, didn't that feel strange to think?) philosophy when it came to leadership. But Hawkheart had always preferred a collaborative approach...though Creekclan's former leader may have had something to do with that. But even here, he couldn't find it in himself to order these cats, possibly to their death, with the same level of stoic command he'd seen other leaders do in the past. They'd all lost enough without adding control on top of it.

Pebblepaw - Shadestep, Yewpaw, Shadow, Cragfur "Alright Cragfur, I will." Pebblepaw mewed to the elder with a quick purr. He knew they hadn't meant it in a rude way, and he figured they were right. It would be hard to kick that thinking, of not looking after himself in favor of only looking out for the clan. But he wanted to do all he could to help, it was his duty after all. He gave Cragfur one last nod before looking to the others shyly. He hoped having another cat her age would help give Yewpaw some comfort as he looked at her sympathetically. Pebblepaw hadn't heard whatever she had been upset about before, but he could take a good guess about what it was, and he understood that feeling beyond words. "Yes, that's me." He mewed as Shadestep came up behind Yewpaw, looking up at the warrior with his odd eyes. "I saw the patch when I was looking for herbs the other day, and made note of it. It's not far from camp-" A large figure approaching the group made him shiver and cut himself off. That was Yewpaw's father? Shadow's demeanor and the way he looked at Shadestep made the hair along his spine bristle, and he forced himself to calm down enough to flatten the fur again. Pebblepaw and Wrenpaw's own father, a warrior named Robinflight, had been a gentle giant with eyes that shone with the love for adventure and his children. Pebblepaw got up to his paws quickly and avoided looking at Shadow, instead to Shadestep. "Yes, right this way." The medicine cat apprentice took off then for the exit of the camp, making sure the others were with him as he did. Allowing selfishness for a fleeting moment, he wished he had gone off to find Stoatpaw and Birchfog instead.
Wrenpaw - Mothwind, Honeydusk, Falconeye Wrenpaw looked up at Mothwind with shining eyes at the praise, nodding her head. Then her gaze followed Honeydusk as she took the lead and began describing what they could expect. She made note of the unstable trees, knowing not to try climbing them if a bird got away and needed to be pursued. Better to not allow the prey to escape in the first place, then. The young cat's eyes went soft and sad as Honeydusk trailed off, lowering her head and sending a small prayer silently to StarClan for all the cats who had been lost to the flames. She was well aware that her and Pebblepaw held a very strong belief in StarClan when most who had come from BreezeClan didn't, their parents had been strong believers and it just came naturally, she guessed. Wrenpaw picked up her pace as well and continued to follow the OakClan cat into unknown territory.

Having said what she wanted, Mothwind decided it was best to ignore Falconeye by now. Instead, she focused on Honeydusk's words. Even though she suggested prey would likely returned to where the fires originally started, she still slowed her pace and kept her senses sharp for any signs otherwise. In an effort of kindness, she did not draw attention to the warrior's faltering words. They all knew the feeling of being pushed from their homes and she doubted, united in survival as they were, that the former Oakclan she-cat would take well to words of comfort- it might be taken as pity.
"Something has moved in," she murmured. Straining, she could hear noise on wood. Whether it was a bird or rodent, it sounded too soft to be a predator, she wasn't entirely sure. Swiveling her ears in an effort to track the sound, the mentor in her glanced down to assess Wrenpaw's reaction.

Aldersong - (Anyone open for interactions) In camp clearing.Feeling keen to discuss with Hawkheart about his medicine duties, Aldersong had begun to wonder what'd be like as a medicine cat, his past in Breezeclan, working away with herbs flooding his senses. Of the injuries he'd seen! The blood, the births, the deaths. The cruelty of the great sky above when it came to sick and injured cats... The horrors were over, though. It was time to begin anew.
Then he recalled a small detail he hadn't considered. He'd be working in a pair. Of course, Birchfog would be there too! He'd never worked medicine cat duties with another, but he wasn't getting any younger, so he only could assume it'd be an easier life with four paws. He'd decided he need to make his presence heard. He'd have a chat with Birchfog once they returned from patrol (If that's okay, Sand) and discuss the possibility of working together. Or maybe he should talk to Hawkheart to have it confirmed? Yes. Hawkheart. That's who he'd go to first. Finally, I'll be a medicine cat once more!

[Phantom || Outskirts || open to interact]
A squirrel nibbled away at a nut on the ground. Unknown to it, a pair of eyes burned into it's tiny body. Phantom stared from the foliage and the shadows, waiting and plotting. He hadn't been very fortunate in regards to food today, which his stomach reminded him with a low rumble.
'You can do this,' he thought to himself, trying to build a sense of confidence over his frustration and unease. He slowly slithered through the grass, body pressed low to the ground and his ears were twitching ever so slightly. He listened to every single shift in movement and felt his mouth water as he crept so close...
He was almost there... but it seemed like luck had other plans today. Phantom crept forward and placed a back paw down, expecting smooth ground and instead getting a thorn in his paw. He yelped, both startled and in pain, and the tiny furry creature darted off. He sprang forward and attempted to catch it. Unfortunately he quickly fell behind it since he was limping. He stopped as he watched it run off, frustration and anger bubbling in him as he sat down. Phantom dug around for a few seconds before finding the offender lodged in between his toes. Phantom's pelt bristled in frustration as he washed the area. Luckily it wasn't a large or severe wound, and it would heal on its own. Still, his pride and stomach ached. He was usually pretty good at hunting, but today just felt like rotten luck.
The hunting had been enough for him to survive this moon on his own. That's how long it had been since he left his father and the group of loners to find the place in his dreams. It had been difficult and he had no luck finding this place so far. What if he was just going in circles and doing this for nothing? He shook his head slightly, frowning at the thought as he stood back up and continued to walk through the territory. "Dad said that it was a sign from my ancestors, and I need to trust them. Sooner or later I'll find it." He mumbled quietly to himself in an attempt to reassure himself, though it brought no ease to the doubts in his mind.

She padded over to the area, making little soft thumps from her soft paws. She flicked her tail and found the spot she wanted. It was a sunny area, so she laid in it. She stretched and smiled in comfort and laid her head on her paws, observing the camp. Can Aldersong interact? :3

Dapplefeather- Being a big bully (open to interaction!) Dapplefeather glanced at Pumpkinswipe angrily and hissed. “Are you going to stand around all day? It’s not like you’re the only cat around.” Dapplefeather didn’t care if she was being rude. They had been through enough to know that standing around was useless. “Not every cat is a happy-go-lucky like you.” She hissed again and started moving her tail. “Try hunting, or patrolling, doing something HELPFUL for once.” (OOC: My first draft of Dapple was supposed to be nice… you can see how that turned out…)

• Pumpkinswipe • In clearing with Dapplefeather • Open for any interactions •
Pumpkinswipe looked at Dapplefeather nervously. “I-I know i’m not the only cat here, Dapplefeather. I just sat down for a rest in the sun, can I do that?” The sweet she-cat asked hastily, flicking her tail. She didn’t like getting scolded by anyone. She always wanted to do the right thing. “And I’m planning on going on a patrol soon if that helps.” She smiled weakly. She put her head down in shame after being called out for being happy and go-lucky. “I-i’ll try better. I promise-“ She put her paws on her face nervously.

(OOC: aww poor baby) Dapplefeather- Still being a jerk and some backstory- open for interactions ”You better! I’m crippled and I still pull my weight!” Dapplefeather looked into Pumpkinswipe’s eyes and saw the fear. “Look, I know I’m not the nicest cat in the clan, but can you blame me? My family died when I was a kitten. I’ve always been taking care of one thing or another. And frankly? You don’t know what fear really is.” Dapplefeather was realized that this wasn’t helpful. They had never been the best at talking to cats, especially about her trauma. “Listen, I don’t mean to be hurtful, I just want to make sure you know how take care of yourself. Prepare for the worst.” Dapplefeather motioned to the fresh-kill pile white their tail. “I’m eating. You can sit with me, who am I to stop you?” Lowering her voice, they added, “Tell nobody about this or you’ll get it.” Rabbittail- Worried about his sister- open for interaction Rabbittail watched his sister snap at Pumpkinswipe. This can’t be good… He thought. He continued to watch his sister as he began to eat a starling. I wonder what they’ve gotten herself into… yelling about patrols? Being a waste of time? Both? He sighed. He turned his head to see many cats next to him. Oh Starclan, I hope they don’t think I’m insane! I totally spaced out! I hope I didn’t look weird…

Wrenpaw - Mothwind, Honeydusk, Falconeye At the deputy's glance, Wrenpaw opened her mouth to draw in what she could scent wise. Though the sounds of the wood made her freeze for a moment. The wolves that moved into BreezeClan territory were like death itself descending upon the cats. It happened so fast, and no one was quite expecting it. If Wrenpaw was being honest with herself, she was still shocked that Pebblepaw and herself survived with only scars. She snapped out of it quickly, her torn ear twitching before she mewed softly. "It's nothing big. I can't catch a scent but the sounds are soft." The brown cat looked up at Mothwind. "If we get a bit closer, we could scent it." Wrenpaw forced her fur to lie flat again, and dug her claws into the dirt for a quick moment, hoping to ground herself. She had to pull it together. WraithkitSmall paws stumbled forward into territory that was unknown, a kit trying desperately to hide under a bush from some large creature in the sky following it. He was small, and horribly scarred, and so so hungry. He had been able to catch tiny mice before but his luck as soon run out once the predator started following him, sensing his weakness. Something had caught the kit's attention however, something he hadn't smelled in so so long. Cats. So he followed the scent hastily when it seemed the bird had left him, perhaps to rest after following him for so long. And as soon as he heard the distant meowing of other cats, he mewed as loud as he could. He wailed for them. Even after the kit collapsed from exhaustion in a patch of grass, he didn't stop wailing. (( jaybun! Wraithkit is here for Cloudberry to find!! So happy for him to have a cat to look after him now :') Also happy new years everyone! ))
