ooc;; cloudberry's a perma-queen! no pregnancies here yet :3c CLOUDBERRY The small queen nodded gratefully to Stoatpaw, flattered by the young cat's warm greeting. She remembered how tiny he used to be. He really had grown a lot. She padded after Birchfog, fondly tapping the apprentice's flank with her tail as she went.
Her head tilted to the medicine cat's voice with a hum, "I'm not sure how well the herbs survived further in the territory..." Cloudberry's nose wrinkled, before her eyes lit up, "I used to grab borage at our border not far from here, though!" She would often make the trip to collect from it when things were busier. She was certain she could find it with her eyes closed!
HAWKHEART Hawkheart huffed, shuffling his paws where he stood, " I don't know about noble." He said, a little embarrassed at the praise. Though he wouldn't deny it was nice to know Skyfall supported him.

HAWKHEART - Skyfall, open
"That would be wonderful, if you could," Hawkheart dipped his head to Skyfall gratefully. Much as he tried to remain composed and on-top of things, it was made signifcantly harder without either guidance from Starclan; or a trustworthy deputy to rely on.
But, as he glanced around the crowd of cats, Hawkheart was acutely aware of the divide that still lingered among them. The Breezeclan warriors especially... he wasn't sure what he could do to bridge that gap. Or if he even could.
CRAGFUR - Yewpaw, open
The old cat sighed. Their bones ached, and a particularly well dug-in tick itched at their flank- but try as they might; they still had a soft heart for the little ones. Especially after everything. With a small oof, the elder rocked up onto their paws, making their way over to Yewpaw's side. Cragfur tapped the apprentice's side with the tip of their fluffy tail. They paused, mouth open, but found themselves at a loss for words. Choosing instead to settle in, in the hopes their presence was at least some comfort.
YewPaw she glanced at the old cat with surprise. For a moment she seemed confused, before a look of acceptance crossed her eyes. She spoke up, "my mother must really be gone, huh?" she whispered. She stared at her paws

Skyfall - Hollow - Mintypuddle, Open The warrior looked towards the she-cat. "I appreciate the gusto Mintypuddle. I suppose you could run that by Birchfog or Hawkheart, though Hawkheart did announce he would like us to focus on preparing for leafbare now. I am trying to assemble groups to help hunt or collect bedding. You are more than welcome to join either of these two groups if you like. Any and all help is certainly appreciated. I do believe Shadestep will lead a group to collect bedding" they glanced with a bit of a frown past Mintypuddle to the black she cat walked cooley away. "If you are interested in leading a group to hunt, that would also be greatly appreciated. I'm afraid the colder weather does a number on my hunting capabilities with my old injury" he mused a bit out loud. He didn't want to seem like he was passing off the duty to someone else, but he knew where his strengths lie. I might relegate myself to bedding duty. Oh how far you have fallen Skyfall they thought to themself. Amberheart - Hollow - Rowanfern, mentions Hazelwatcher and Woodpeckerpaw Amberheart nodded in agreement with her sister. "It's hard to trust those who abandon you" she looked out at the cats gathering to form parties with a haunted gaze. She didn't particularly trust any of the other cats, but if she had to put her faith in someone, it would be medicine cats. They were always so wise in the ways of herbs and healing, in addition to the mysticism of Starclan. If there weren't spirits to have faith in, at least they could try and have faith in the natural. For whatever that was worth after the calamity. Amberheart butted her head into her sister. "I'm just glad you are safe and here. I don't know what I'd do without you." She gave her sister a lick on the head. "Do you want to see if we could find Hazelwatcher and Woodpeckerpaw?" She wanted to check in on what was left of their clan. Maybe they could go hunting together? Shadestep - Hollow - Open, Yewpaw, Cragfur, mentions Acepaw, Stoatpaw, and Birchfog Shadestep pushed passed Skyfall calling together for the parties and looked into the crowd of cats. She spotted Acepaw and Stoatpaw in deep conversation with her sibling Brichfog, who seemed vastly unamused and a bit irritated by whatever was being said. Altogether that was pretty typical for them. Instead she turned her focus towards where she had heard a young voice crying out and saw Yewpaw and Cragfur. The black she-cat approached cautiously, so as to not startle the two. "Hey there" she spoke in a soft voice to the young apprentice who looked very distraught. She crouched a bit so she could look on eye level with her. "I am looking to go out and collect some bedding. Would you be interested in joining? Maybe we can keep a look out for Briardust" Shadestep offered. She had no idea who Briardust was, but many cats had lost loved ones to the recent disasters, so she felt it was safe to assume something similar happened her. She didn't really believe they would find this cat, but sometimes going out and looking would help. YewPaw She then turned to ShadeStep, "yes," she murmured softly, "In a moment..." she trailed off, awaiting the answer of CragFur.

(My bad, good to know. Forgot to ask but can she be a sorta motherly figure to Stoatpaw?) Shadestep - Hollow - Yewpaw, Cragfur The she-cat felt bad for the apprentice. She was clearly taking the loss of her mother hard. Shadestep sat next to the brown she-cat and wrapped her tail around Yewpaw's body. "We don't know for sure if your mother is gone, but it's very possible. It's ok if you need time to grieve. These past moons have been hard on everyone. Maybe you can find another apprentice who you can relate to about this." She sat quietly for a moment. "You know I lost my mother, in a way, when I was about your age. She left us" Shadestep nodded towards Birchfog leaving the Hollow with Stoatpaw and Cloudberry in tow "with Breezeclan when were young. We weren't really given a reason why, or given time to say goodbye. We were just sorta offloaded and she went on her way. I was upset about it for a while. And after several moons, I realized it was out of my control, and I eventually moved on. But it takes time. Time heals wounds." The she-cat gave Yewpaw a lick on her head.

ooc;; for sure! she would dote on stoatpaw no matter what CRAGFUR - Shadestep, Yewpaw The old cat nodded along to Shadestep's words, before dipping their head down to Yewpaw's level, " It's alright to hope, little one. But no matter your mother's fate, take solace that one day you will see her again. Whether it's in this life or within the Waterfall, only time will tell." Cragfur hid a grimace. It was a bit morbid, but the knowledge helped them cope with their kin's loss, at least a little. They hoped it would grant Yewpaw some strength as well.

It was a bit morbid, but the knowledge helped them cope with their kin's loss, at least a little. They hoped it would grant Yewpaw some strength as well. YewPaw - ShadeStep, CragFur She hestiated, before looking at her brother, AcePaw, who had been talking to other cats before padding away. "AcePaw thinks shes gone," she mewed, "He doesn't say it, but...I know it's what he thinks," she lowered her eyes. "But I know theres a chance she's alive... she has to be!" AcePaw - Shadow, open AcePaw watched the other cats leave, and was suddenly aware of his fathers presence next to him. For a moment he bristled. He couldn't help but feel nervous- this father had killed his mother, after all... Then he forced himself to calm. "Shadow..." he mewed Shadow - AcePaw, open Shadow narrowed his eyes as he looked at his son- was that nervousness in his gaze? He scowled. Sometime I'll teach him to be braver than what he is now- a whimpering kit. "AcePaw," he mewed, tone betraying no emotion. His blue eyes flashed, and he leaned forward to whisper in his sons ear. "You'll tell no cat what you saw," he hissed. "Not even YewPaw," his claws dug into the earth below. Suddenly, a sinister grin crossed his features, eyes gleaming with bitter amusement. Aware that no cat was paying attention to the two of them, headed closer to his son, until their noses met. "Why would any cat believe you, anyway? Loyal Shadow would never murder his precious BriarDust!" He trilled. Then, he rose to his paws, and padded away from his son.He glanced back at AcePaw, pretending to smile happily as if he had just had a fun little talk with his kin. "Meet me outside of camp at sunset, don't be late," he padded away

[ shoot, sorry about the mistake! ] Birchfog - leaving Hollow - with Stoatpaw & Cloudberry Birchfog listened to Cloudberry and Stoatpaw's suggestions attentively. The group was padding towards the entrance while the medicine cat padded closely behind. They began to weigh a decision in their mind. They knew that BreezeClan didn't have a lot of borage near the border. The white and black cat nodded to both felines, letting out a small chuckle at Cloudberry's comment. If the permanent queen was useful, they might as well let her become a helper for the medicine cats.
"I trust that you'll lead us to the borage, Cloudberry," they remarked to the red and white tabby she-cat before continuing on. "Let's head to the MarshClan border then. If we don't find anything, we can head towards CreekClan," they mewed, noticing that Cloudberry seemed quite close to Stoatpaw. At least the two seemed to be in good spirits. However, the brown apprentice seemed lost, in Birchfog's opinion. Clearly something else was bothering the young tom. "Are you alright, Stoatpaw?" Rowanfern - Hollow - with Amberheart Rowanfern knew she had made a terrible mistake as soon as Amberheart's demeanor changed. She almost leapt out of her fur when the ginger tabby whirled around. It was obvious that her littermate was panicking. "Amberheart! No, that's not what I meant at all," she mewed, padding up to her sibling carefully. She put her fluffy white and ginger tail on to Amberheart's shoulder.
"Woodpeckerpaw and Hazelwatcher are still in camp. They didn't go out and they didn't get hurt. I promise that they are safe," she meowed, trying her best to reassure the ginger she-cat. "Why don't we go out and hunt on our own? We'll catch more prey than Hawkheart and Skyfall!"

ooc;; loving amberheart & rowanfern reaching mean girls levels of drama while the creekclan cats are all chilling /gen CRAGFUR - Yewpaw, Shadestep Cragfur merely hummed, wary of giving of the young she-cat any false hope, " We all have ways of dealing with loss." Their eyes flicked across the camp, tracking Yewpaw's father, Shadow, move about. They were unsure on their thoughts about the other cat. Past the usual cross-clan hesitance, Cragfur couldn't help but be put off by the tom's distant attitude toward his children.

I am so here for the Oakclan mean girls club Amberheart - Hollow - Rowanfern Amberheart took a wild glance around again. As her sister put her tail on her should, she looked in her sister's eyes with great concern. "You're sure right? They're ok?" She took a deep breadth and looked back at her sister for a long moment. "Yeah, they're ok." She thought for a moment, looking back at the two toms standing in the middle of the camp. "It's kinda dangerous out there. Maybe, maybe... Oh this is dumb. Maybe we should go with them? But only to show them we're better!" she really didn't trust them, but also, going out just the two of them did make her nervous. It was better to have questionable support over no support if something went bad she supposed. But she would surely keep a safe distance between them. Stoatpaw - Outside Hollow - Birchfog, Cloudberry As they began to walk towards the Marshclan boarder, Stoatpaw became a little distracted in looking at the environment around them. He traced a fallen tree with his eyes as they walked by. When he heard his name, he jumped a bit. "Oh uh, what? Yeah, yeah..." he trailed off and looked down a bit at his paws. They're gonna think it's stupid he thought to himself. "Well, I, uh, I was just thinking about, maybe if..." he trailed off. "Nevermind it's dumb" and he shook his head. Shadestep - Hollow - Yepaw, Cragfur "There's no way to know for sure" Shadestep was careful to give too much hope to the apprentice. She was afraid that could very quickly go bad if they found out her mother was dead. "Well Cragfur, is there anything your old bones would like to rest on this leafbare?" the she-cat inquired, trying to change the subject a bit. She still did not move from next to Yewpaw, continuing to offer some physical comfort. (My RP is going to be a bit rough for the month b/c finals are upon us)

ooc;; good luck!!! CLOUDBERRY - Birchfog, Stoatpaw " Dumb?" Cloudberry chirped, " Stoatttttt." she drew out the small cat's name, playfully bumping along his side. She glanced at Birchfog meaningfully, whiskers twitching as she not-so-subtly tilted her head in Stoatpaw's direction.

Birchfog - in the territory - with Stoatpaw & Cloudberry Birchfog glanced around the territory that surrounded the patrol. They were a bit unsure about entering MarshClan's territory, but they needed herbs. They weren't going to pass up an opportunity like this. The medicine cat noticed Stoatpaw's small leap and fixated their gaze on the apprentice. They didn't know Stoatpaw that well, yet it was obvious that something was wrong.
As Stoatpaw chose to not share his idea, the white and black cat frowned. Was the brown tom not comfortable with sharing things? Clearly he had something in mind, but Birchfog couldn't figure it out. They caught Cloudberry's gaze and nodded sternly in her direction. "There's no need for hesitation," they mewed coolly, their yellow gaze resting on Stoatpaw.
The medicine cat turned around, their gaze still fixated on Stoatpaw. Birchfog would not take 'no' for an answer. Their body language, rigid and firm, was demanding an answer. "I'm sure your idea isn't dumb. Tell us, it could be quite helpful," the feline asked as they did not move an inch. Rowanfern - Camp - with Amberheart Rowanfern nodded quickly to Amberheart as she began to calm down. At least she was coming back from the bursty of panic. "I promise that they are okay," she assured her once more, placing her fluffy tail on Amberheart's shoulder gently.
The ginger and white tabby didn't exactly agree with her sibling. She wanted nothing to do with the CreekClan cats, but... they needed to hunt. Since they couldn't find Chestnutwatcher or Woodpeckerpaw, their chances of hunting with them were very slim. Rowanfern let out a heavy sigh, doing her best to hold back on the insults that came to her mind. "Well, I guess you do have a point," she mewed reluctantly. "It isn't safe for us to go out alone. I don't want anything happening to us."
Rowanfern was cringing on the inside. She really did not want to hunt with Hawkheart and Skyfall. However, she didn't have choice. The she-cat would have to get used to their current home with the cats living together as one clan, instead of four clans. "Fine, but we're only hunting with them to prove that we're better!" she declared with confidence. "Let's go show them our perfect hunting skills."
The warrior began padding in the direction of Hawkheart and Skyfall, holding her head high. "Hey!" she called out towards the two toms.

(Thank you! Also I changed Stoatpaw to all brown with medium fur. I just kept imagining him that way so I figured why not) Stoatpaw - Herb Hunting in the territory - Brichfog, Cloudberry The brown tom smirked a bit as Cloudberry teased him lightly. He gave a small playful bump back, but quickly returned to looking sheepishly at his feet, which almost caused him to crash right into Birchfog when the cat turned around and stopped in front of him. He skidded to a halt at Brichfog's white feet. The choclate tom could feel the intense burn of Brichfog's eyes upon him. "Well," Stoatpaw let out a long sigh, having a hard time making eye contact with either of the two older cats with him. He shifted his brown feet beneath him in the dirt. "Well, I don't know, I just thought, maybe, maybe while we were looking for herbs if we found any of those who were lost in the floods and put their bodies to rest, maybe then Starclan would come back" he turned his hopeful yellow eyes up to meet his mentor's green ones for just a moment, before breaking eye contact and looking back down at his paws. "I dunno it was just a thought. I really want to get Starclan back. I just don't know what we'll do without them..." his voice trailed off as the tom leaned into Cloudberry. "I'm just so scared" He finally quietly admitted into her shoulder. Amberheart, Skyfall - Hollow - Rowanfern, Hawkheart Amberheart nodded at her sister's words. "Yeah, we're going to show 'em just how Oakclan cats hunt" she said with newfound resolve. She turned on an angle and began to march over to where the two toms were standing. But as they walked further into the crowd, her tail began to drop a bit and she looked at the unfamiliar cats around them. She looked back at her sister skeptically, but when she looked back she accidentally made eye contact with Skyfall, and as his yellow eyes grew wide in interest, hers dialated in fear. Skyfall, getting mildly frustrated at the fact that maybe no one would join them and Hawkheart in hunting, turned his head at an exclamation and saw two orange cats padding their way. His silver ears peaked in interest as the cats cut through those milling around. "Why hello there. Roawnheart and Amberfern wasn't it? What can I do for you? Would you ladies perchance be interested in going on a hunting expedition with Hawkheart and I?" the cat inquired casually. The orange she-cat, holding back a bit of panic once again, feeling her hackles on the edge of rising in this crowd. When she heard the misnomer, she snapped back to the large silver cat "It's AmberHEART. It would do you well to remember that with that big head of yours" she scoffed back. Skyfall twitched an ear at this response, clearly unphased. "Right. My bad" Internally, Skyfall did kicked themself a bit. They wanted to make a good impression on all the cats, trying to put aside old grievances and move towards a brighter tomorrow. That wasn't going to happen if he couldn't remember these cats names.

Wildpaw • They/Them • Hollow • Open Wildpaw was currently pacing back and forth impatiently in front of Magpiefur, their two white front paws moving rhythmically as they paced only a few steps at a time. Because of the stress that all the clans had been going through lately, they hadn’t yet been assigned a mentor. However, that wasn’t necessarily that surprising considering they JUST became apprentice-aged today. But that logic didn’t seem to cross the ginger feline’s mind as they moved to and fro impatiently, sheathing and unsheathing their claws every so often. Magpiefur • He/Him • Hollow • Open He watched his impatient kit pace back and forth in front of him for a while, slightly amused. “Oh, quit all that pacing, you’re making me dizzy watching you,” The tom said with a good-natured growl.

HAWKHEART - Skyfall, Rowanfern, Amberheart He perked up at the call, surprised to see the two Oakclan she-cats approach. Out of everyone in their piecemeal group, Hawkheart had assumed they would be the hardest to start working together with; after Breezeclan, of course. Internally wincing at Skyfall's minor blunder, he tried his own paw at diplomacy, " We- I, would greatly appreciate your help hunting. If you two would be willing."

Birchfog - herb hunting- with Cloudberry & Stoatpaw Birchfog let out a grunt as soon as Stoatpaw skidded to a halt by his paws. They were lucky that the apprentice hadn't ran into them accidentally. They continued to stare at Stoatpaw and barely moved. The more that the chocolate brown tom went on without saying anything meaningful, the more it annoyed Birchfog. Was it really so hard for the medicine cat apprentice to speak his mind? To them, it was incomprehensible.
Deep in thought, the medicine cat glanced at Cloudberry for a fleeting moment before settling their gaze on Stoatpaw. "It's a fine idea, but the herbs come first," they finally mewed before pausing for a second. "I'm willing to look for the cats to give them a proper burial. I'm not sure if StarClan will contact us because of it, but we do not have many options."
Watching Stoatpaw as he leaned onto Cloudberry, the white and black cat couldn't exactly figure out what Stoatpaw had told the permanent queen. It wasn't like it mattered to them anyways, there were more important things to worry about. "We will find StarClan eventually. It's going to take some time whether we like it or not," they added, not bothering to comfort the young brown tom. Stoatpaw was going to have to learn things the hard way.
Rowanfern - hollow - with Amberheart, Skyfall & Hawkheart Rowanfern padded next to Amberheart, giving all of her might to act confident and brave. She shook out her long fur and held her tail high. As soon as her littermate accidentally made eye contact with Skyfall, she came to a halt. Although Amberheart was afraid, Rowanfern didn't feel the same way. If anything, she was willing to bully these two CreekClan cats if they hurt any OakClan cats.
The ginger and white she-cat's nose scrunched up in confusion as she stared at Skyfall. Really? Amberfern and Rowanheart? she thought before rolling her eyes at the tom. "I'm Rowanfern," she meowed slowly, enunciating each part of her name. "Amberheart's right. You better remember our names because we're sticking around for good."
She quickly set her white and ginger tail on Amberheart's shoulder before glancing at the orange tabby. Rowanfern wanted her littermate to feel comfortable, but it seemed like that wasn't going to happen yet. The crowd felt intimidating though that may have been due to the amount of cats. Rowanfern focused her gaze on Hawkheart, giving a nod to the tom. "We'll join with you two," she replied, briefly glancing at Skyfall and then Amberheart. She then turned towards Hawkheart. "So, where are we headed? I hope you already have a plan."

CLOUDBERRY - Birchfog, Stoatpaw The she-cat's ears twitched as Cloudberry fought the urge to flatten them. Breezeclan. How could she have forgotten? She dropped a quick, rough lick to Stoatpaw's head, " Birchfog is right, for now. We need to focus on the herbs." Cloudberry paused, glancing at Birchfog, before continuing a little quieter " Starclan has never left us wanting before, Marshclan or not. We just need to have faith." HAWKHEART - Rowanfern, Amberheart, Skyfall Hawkheart hesitated, glancing at Skyfall before he answered. He didn't want to step on the other tom's paws, this had been his idea first, after all.

(Sorry finals have been A LOT but I finally have a second to do a quick post :3) Skyfall, Amberheart - Camp - Hawkheart, Rowanfern Skyfall shared a glance with Hawkheart and gave his tail a small flick. "Well, I suppose we should head out then. The way I see it, I think we have two options" the silver tabby stood up with a shake, letting their long fur fall where it may for the time being. The cat began to pad towards the river at the edge of the Hollow, parting the sea of cats around them. "We could push out towards Breezeclan territory, which would be the most intact land to hunt in, though it may be dangerous if wolves are continuing to move around" They glanced up at the sun hanging in the middle of the sky, "though I doubt that would be a problem at this hour. Or we could push into one of the other territories and see what may have regrown in the last few moons. Any thoughts?" he inquired over a broad should towards the she-cats behind him. "Can you believe that. Amberfern and Rowanheart?!?" the she-cat scoffed quietly to her sister as she fell in line behind Skyfall. Amberheart was never really one to lead, though she was unamused to have Skyfall's giant fluffy tail in her face. She felt better to get moving and hopfully get all these cat's eyes off of them. One of the other annoying side effects about being by these loud Creekclan cats, especially the leader. Stoatpaw - Herb Hunting - Cloudberry, Brichfog Stoatpaw closed his eyes for a second with Cloudberry's comforting lick. "Have faith" the tom quietly repeated back, more so for himself than for her. They'll come back. They have to. he thought to himself. he took a second before giving a short trot to catch back up to his mentor with mildly renewed energy. He quietly, but more attentively padded at his mentor's side.

Birchfog - herb hunting- with Cloudberry & Stoatpaw
Birchfog was surprised that Cloudberry actually agreed with them. They glanced at the red she-cat, giving her a nod of approval. However, they found the whispers from Cloudberry and Stoatpaw to be impolite. They cleared their throat, staring at both cats with a narrowed gaze. "Let's find the borage first," the white and black cat mewed before continuing on. "Stoatpaw, do you know what borage smells like?"
In their life, Birchfog only had one apprentice before the clans went almost extinct. His apprentice was a young cream tabby she-cat named Ivorypaw. Like a majority of Birchfog's former clanmates, Ivorypaw died from the roaming wolves. It was too bad as Ivorypaw's medicine cat ceremony was going to come up. If the wolves would have left BreezeClan alone, maybe she would be here today... but that was far too unrealistic.
Rowanfern - camp - with Amberheart, Skyfall & Hawkheart Rowanfern fell in line behind Amberheart, bringing up the rear of the patrol. Although she didn't like the idea of being with CreekClan cats, at least they were proving to be motivated. As they made their way to the edge of the river, the ginger and white tabby's nose twitched. Skyfall's suggestions were interesting to say the least. She didn't mind hunting on BreezeClan's territory as there was nothing left of OakClan's. She was just going to have to get used to change and she'd have to get used to it fast. "I highly doubt that the wolves are wandering around at this time of day," Rowanfern mewed in a deadpan voice. "I'm fine with going to BreezeClan's territory. If you two want to risk it, then we can head to another territory."
The warrior saw the hunting situation in two ways. They would have more chances to find prey in BreezeClan's trees than territories that were still suffering from destruction. As soon as she heard Amberheart's comment, Rowanfern couldn't help but snort. "Hey, at least he knows the first part of our names," she teased, glancing at Skyfall's tail as it bounced in front of her sibling's face. "Do you see anything with that big tail of his in front of your face?"

HAWKHEART - Skyfall, Amberheart, Rowanfern " Someone would have to check Breezeclan's territory for the wolves, anyhow." Hawkheart shrugged, following Skyfall's pace idly, " Two birds with one swipe." The big tom kept his ears resolutely pricked forward, but couldn't help overhear the whispers of the two she-cat's following behind. He didn't laugh, he wouldn't, but if his whiskers twitched in amusement from their comments that was between him and the sky. Though Hawkheart wished they could all get along as easily as their former lives; he did appreciate the spunk some of the other clan cats showed. It was an adjustment to be for sure.

Wrenpaw - open
Wrenpaw was seated by Pebblepaw, near the middle of the crowd of cats. She was still and silent, sitting with her chest puffed out slightly. While other cats seemed to group by past Clans, the two young cats did not. The she-cat saw no use in staying together yet divided. Whether they all liked it or not they had to work together to survive as well as thrive once again. Though she did take notice of familiar faces, other former BreezeClan cats, including one of the current medicine cats. Hawkheart's news made her ear twitch uneasily, the only sign the news got to her at all. StarClan remained silent, and the path to Star Stump was still unclear. As Hawkheart dismissed the group and cats began to disperse, she glanced to the side at Pebblepaw. The smaller cat was shifting nervously and his odd eyes were cast down at the ground.
"Pebblepaw." Wrenpaw mewed softly, letting their flanks brush in an attempt to comfort her brother. "It'll be alright. We survived, and we are together. That's some proof at least that StarClan hasn't left us entirely..." Well, not all of them survived. The two apprentices were the last living kin of their line, now. She closed her eyes slowly for a moment, wondering if their parents were proud of them. They had both been strong warriors, no doubt they were in StarClan now. Wrenpaw blinked her eyes open again with a sigh. "Go on, you've got an important job to do, I believe in you." She nudged him with a proud purr. She began to lick her paw then, and ran it over her torn ear carefully.
Pebblepaw - Cragfur, open
Pebblepaw listened to his kin, trying hard to let her words ease his worry. They had survived, and even if there was still a cloud of uncertainty upon this newfound group, that is the one thing they all could say. They survived. He looked up then, his eyes meeting Wrenpaw's, and blinked gratefully at her. "Thank you. I'll remember that..." He didn't enjoying thinking of their parents, it left a painful pang in his chest that almost made it hard to breathe. The two warriors died protecting the Clan from wolves, they had followed the warrior code faithfully to the very end. So why did he feel awful still about the situation? Perhaps it was because he wasn't quite sure yet if their deaths had been for anything. If this newfound Clan could keep it together... Then it would be. Pebblepaw rose to his paws steadily, and stretched out his back. Wrenpaw was right, he was a medicine cat apprentice now. Before the collapse of BreezeClan, he had been a warrior apprentice, something he was dreading in shame. He knew he would never be much use as a warrior especially in a clan known for their speed and climbing ability. Activities that did not come as easily to the silver tom, due to a bad case of kitcough after he was born which left his lungs weak. Perhaps things had worked out in a morbid way, if it led him to the path he was on now.
Leaving his sister to her grooming, Pebblepaw looked around the camp with ears pricked. He noticed Birchfog, Cloudberry and Stoatpaw leaving camp and figured the three of them were enough to complete whatever task they set out to do. He couldn't see the other medicine cat either, so he decided to stay in camp in case he was needed. The young cat's eyes stopped at Cragfur, the group's only elder. He started to pad towards them, knowing there were no kits or expecting cats as of now, so he wanted to check on them first. Pebblepaw stopped beside them, and dipped his head in a respectful greeting. "Hi Cragfur." He meowed to them politely. "How are you today?" He knew the elder was formerly of CreekClan, one of his own Clan's constant rivals, but that hardly mattered to him now. He only thought of the concern and urge to take care of the Hollow's survivors regardless of origin.
occ; finally got around to my starter! happy to be here, Wrenpaw and Pebblepaw are both open to interactions :>

Mothwind crouched a distance away from the huddle of cats around Hawkheart. As leader, it would be his duty to break the news. Besides, such a position would offer her a better chance to gauge the clan's reaction. Her eyes narrowed as cats made a pitiful attempt to rustle up some sort of patrols. A leader does not ask. A leader delegates. She pitied Creekclan if this was the kind of deputy they had to look forward to every morning.
Reactions were as expected: many questioned what it meant for Starclan and themselves. Whiskers twitching, she bit back the retort that it didn't matter right now. Others were at least trying to focus on the present and near future. A future that included the impending cold. With a shake of her brown pelt, the she-cat rose to her paws and padded to join their 'leader' in the center. "If you take Breezeclan territory, I'll take the other." It felt strange to not be the one leading a group into her old home, but maybe it was for the best. A fresh set of eyes and all that...
After an affirmative, she glanced around the clearing at who was left and where they were. "Honeydusk, Falconeye you're with me." Without waiting for a response, ice blue eyes sought out one more small figure. "Wrenpaw, you too." As her apprentice hurried to her side, she called out louder.
"Shadestep," hoping to remind the warrior of the task they'd originally agreed to take, she called their name "take Mintypuddle, Pebblepaw, and Yewpaw for bedding. Cragfur," she gave a curt nod of respect to the elder, "if you're feeling strong enough, please join them." Although she sympathized with the young Yewpaw, there was work to be done. The cats could continue to comfort and fawn over the apprentice while staying busy. "Keep your eyes out for herbs while you're out. Shadow," noticing the tom lurking at the edge of camp, she summoned him next. "Join them as a guard. Hunt if you can, but remember your job and don't stray too far from the group." It was a rather large patrol just for moss, she knew. But it was a patrol that numbered 2 warriors, an elder, 2 medicine cats, and an apprentice. While she wasn't expecting trouble, she knew it sometimes found them anyways. And besides, more paws meant more moss.
"Coppertwist," calling for her littermate last, she nodded in the direction the other medicine cats had gone. "Catch up with Birchfog's group." She liked that one even less. A medicine cat, an apprentice, and a queen? Great Starclan. "Your job will also be watch duty. Same as Shadow, do whatever needs doing. Whether that's muscle, an extra set of paws, or scout. We cannot afford to lose any medicine cats." Sure they had their difference, but she knew he could be trusted at the very least.
Inhaling slowly, she met the eyes of every cat she named to give them a moment to question her orders- if they dared. Turning on her paws and with a flick of her tail, she headed for the last territory: Oakclan. Maybe some other animals had decided to see if anything survived the devastating fires. Normally she wouldn't leave so few to defend the camp, but in reality there wasn't much to defend. And she hoped that if trouble did come prowling, the cats left would prioritize self preservation and evacuate.
[whew. okay. hopefully i hit everything correctly. +I had to back up a bit to include what I wanted, but I didn't name cats owned by folks who haven't posted yet, but had joined before me so those would be the "cats left to defend camp" and we can always fuzzy them into another patrol if need be. +I tried to leave cats who were already interacting (Shade w/ Yew, Crag, and Pebble) together and add in cats that didn't seem to be doing anything...? (Shadow and Minty) to my understanding +I tried to keep numbers as even as possible (Hawk's patrol has 4, Birch's will have 4 once Copper joins them, Moth's has 4 as well) while also balancing roles (hence why the moss patrol has so many cats.) +I said Oakclan was the last remaining territory because, from my understanding: the Hallow is by Creekclan territory? the herb patrol is in or at least heading towards/nearing Marshclan. and ofc Hawk's patrol was heading towards Breezeclan. I kind of shoved some cats different places, so if anything needs adjusting, just let me know :3 but it's also kinda Mothwind's job? and cats are welcome to resent her for appeared 'bossiness' lol.]

Wrenpaw - Mothwind Wrenpaw's ears pricked at a familiar voice, and she stopped grooming to lift her head up. Mothwind. Her eyes lit up as the former BreezeClan deputy began giving orders and organizing different patrols. Now that was how a cat should get things done. The apprentice rose to her paws when summoned, padding up proudly beside her mentor. She was sure other cats might not like how Mothwind was commanding the others around, but to Wrenpaw it was a sign of confidence and experience. Things she admired in the deputy and it was clear how much respect the apprentice had for her. Wrenpaw looked to Pebblepaw, giving him a nod of reassurance since he looked a little weary. She wasn't worried for her brother, who was apart of a larger group only gathering moss, she was much too excited to be going to the former OakClan territory to scout it out. As Mothwind turned to start the trek, so did Wrenpaw, following with her tail held high. She was a little too proud to fully put it into words, but she hoped one day when she became a warrior she could be as strong and confident as her mentor was. To protect and server the clan, and most of all to protect Pepplepaw. They were the last of their line and she would not let it end without a fight. Pepplepaw - Cragfur, Mintypuddle, Yewpaw Pebblepaw blinked as he watched Wrenpaw leaving with Mothwind and the rest of their group, feeling uneasiness tug at his belly. They'll be alright, surely... He shook his head and looked to the other cats, now all a moss patrol, it seemed. "I think I remember seeing a moss patch not far." He mewed softly, obviously a little shy still around all these different cats, but determined to help. He was a medicine cat apprentice, after all. "We should be able to bring back plenty! And herbs if we come across any, StarClan willing." He then looked to Cragfur with bright, odd colored eyes. "Would you like to come with? The extra paws would be helpful." Though his words were not commanding one bit, or too soft either. If Cragfur were to come, Pebblepaw would keep an eye on the elder without seeming like he was babying them, either. Like most clan cats he had infinite respect for elders but also knew how they were at times.
Pebblepaw licked his paw and ran it over his ear a few times as the others in their group discussed. He was grateful to not be going anywhere near the old BreezeClan territory, just thinking about it made him shiver.

Falconeye got a gleam in his eyes that promised love and mischief when Mothwind mentioned his name and he straightened up with a pleased shiver rolling down his spine. With a flick of his tail, he pushed past Wrenpaw rudely and slid up next to his ex-mate. He knew he was just irresistible. " My lithe, little night breeze, I knew you couldn't stay away from me" he purred out, brushing his flank up against hers. "So, my love, are we going to hunt together and leave the OakClan cat with the kit?"
Honeydusk fluffed up in aggravation at not only Mothwind's tone but also Falconeye's arrogance. With a quick shake of her fur and a lick to help tame it further, she stepped forward, her skin prickling at the knowledge she was the same size of the BreezeClan apprentice. Her ears flickered to the side before nodding at the deputy. "I can be your guide for the territory but I cannot promise prey. There has not been prey seen there for many moons, especially after the firestorm.." she murmured softly, hiding her distaste at the situation of BreezeClan warriors on her home territory. Especially Falconeye. She threw a side eye at the tom at the thought.

Wrenpaw - Mothwind, Falconeye, Honeydusk Wrenpaw's ears flicked in annoyance as Falconeye pushed past her and she watched as the tom tried smooth talking Mothwind. What a complete mouse brain. She thought to herself, keeping pace behind her mentor. Though she didn't like Falconeye one bit, she kept her mouth shut, knowing better than to talk back to warriors. She only answered to Mothwind anyway and she'd rather eat crow food than listen to cats like Falconeye. Stuck up and completely self-centered.
The apprentice listened to Honeydusk and took note of her side eye at Falconeye. She suppressed a noise of amusement and instead flicked her tail to the warrior in acknowledgement then looked to the tom, then back to Honeydusk. I can't stand him either, trust me. Her look said, her nose wrinkling up for only a moment. "Hopefully some birds have come back." She mewed. "To pick through what's left." Birds were her favorite to hunt, and she was certainly fast enough for it, like most BreezeClan cats. The creatures could've flown away easily from the fires and some who could thrive and rebuild in the charred environment should be back by now.
OCC; ((Made Wrenpaw and Pebblepaw in cat creator for ClanGen, so I'll be using their sprites for replies now! :> ))

((I have to admit I squealed like a kit when I saw the Clangen sprite LOL where'd you create it??))
A flicker in the corner of her gaze drew Honeydusk's attention to the apprentice next to her. Her eyes noted the irriation and nose scrunch and she had to twitch her whiskers rapidly to bite down a smile. With a chocolate gaze betraying her mirth she tilted her head to the side and flicked her ear in acknowledgement. "I suppose the firestorm may have burned away the taint in the land keeping the prey away. The birds should be attracted to the life in the soil now that it's exposed... You may have a point there." She mused quietly, studying the small warrior to be in a new light. Perhaps not all is lost with BreezeClan. Wrenpaw is proving to have some brain at least compared to her clan mate.

Coppertwist had been sitting as far as he could from other cats when his sister called for him to join the medicine cats group. He gave her a glare, his piercing blue eyes almost challenging her. It was obvious the two had their differences but after a few moments he turned and followed her orders. Annoying or not, she was right they needed a warrior with them. If something happened he was a good cat to have around despite his bad attitude. He followed the groups scent, luckily his size helped him catch up quickly. Although, he considered running off and spending his time sleeping somewhere. Even he knew it wasn't the time for that.
He caught up with the three cats and the large tom crept forward, making himself known to the group. "Mothwind sent me." He didn't know what else he was really supposed to say, maybe that he was here to help? No. He was the muscle, and he wasn't the best at conversation or making friends. He honestly thought the whole situation with the clans was ironic. His whole life he was deemed less than for his half-clan status and here they were, all together as one clan. He doubted it would be that simple. They were always going to belong to their clans deep down. He stared at the group, a medicine cat, an apprentice, and a queen. Great. If something happened at least he knew Birchfog was a cat that could handle themselves.
