(Me: Oh dear, I have to practice writing break downs and sad emotions. *glances at Owlina* Oh well, guess its time for some past trauma to make a return!)
Friends? Owlina seemed in shock for a moment before leaping for joy. A friend! A friend! She hadn't made one in centuries, it was hard when most thought you were a witch. The hats on her eyes momentarily were everywhere at once before turning back to her.
She stalked through the undergrowth, sticking close to Deftfoot and Vipersnap, purring as she walked. Her brows furrowed and Owlina let out a gentle, reassuring meow at Captain Deftfoot's distress.
"It's ok, I can make a portal back to anyone's home. Speaking of...I should be heading back to my..." She paused, not knowing what to call the abyss she had made for herself. The yawning blackness that hid her from anything, the comforting, but cold shadows that called to her troubled soul...what does one call that? Not home, it felt to sad...but she hadn't been in any place that made her happier, so.... I don't have a home.
Her black claws unsheathed as she prepared to make a portal, she sliced a claw through the air. Blue sparks flew, before landing like glowing stones of starlight at her paws.
There was nothing.
Owlina chest began moving rapidly, her breaths becoming quick, but heavy. Her lavender eyes flickered from side to side wildly, and she desperately struck at corners away from the crowd, but nothing changed. I've done something wrong.
"Pardon me for a moment." She faked a smile, imagining a great mask was covering up her panicked state. Rapidly, she departed from the group and scaled a willow.
The long, soft leaf-vines stroking and hiding her thick coat. She felt her hat and cloak turn blackish-blue, not the normal -green-to-blue it normally was. The eyes on her hat stared at her, the sharp pupils were trembling inside the cloth with made up her once-beautiful hat. Paws to her face, Owlina put her paws over her eyes and wiped away the tears that streamed down her white face. They were hot and salty, soaking the area below her eyes. Her throat felt as if she had swallowed a icy ball and it was lodged in there, she couldn't get it to go away. The feline's chest ached with the pain of hiding her terror of the unknown.
This wasn't a world she could control, and she couldn't leave if she wanted to. Owlina was stuck, she was trapped.

Deftfoot smiles innocently as Vipersnap asks about the watch. “Well, I don’t typically use it for fun,” he chuckles. “The watch was given to me by my superiors, to be used only for missions that they send me on; like right now. But I’ve traveled to many places, many times. I’ve seen worlds where twolegs live in Clans, and cats are the dominant species of this planet.” Deftfoot pauses, a somber look passing over his face. “Then I’ve seen worlds where cats don’t exist at all,” he adds. “Where we’ve gone extinct.”
Blinking away the sadness of that memory, Deftfoot focuses back on Viperfang. “StarClan is a body of heavenly warriors, you could say. In our realm, when warriors loyal to the code have passed on, they are granted eternal life in the stars.” He nods at the dead deer beside them. “And there’s a never-ending supply of food there, unlike this place.”
Deftfoot suddenly scales the Great Rock and crouches at the top. The cool night breeze blows at his scarf, and he brings his goggles back over his eyes. “Now, if my watch isn’t working, I’ll need to see what I’m working with here . . . Perhaps I can manually make a portal back home.”
Through the lens’ of his goggles, he can see multiple tunnels of time in the surrounding area.
”I see, I see,” he mumbles beneath his breath.
Deftfoot lifts his goggles again and stares blankly at the group below, lost in thought.
Finally, he speaks up. “See, every material thing has wrinkles, right?” He grabs at his scarf for proof. “Like this. So, by that same logic, the material universe has wrinkles, too. There are tiny crevices, or wrinkles, in time. Tunnels through which we can pass from one point . . . to another. We call these wormholes. They exist on an infinitesimal scale all around us; tinier, even, than the atoms that make up you and I. My watch hones in on one of these tunnels and enlarges it trillions of times over, granting passage for people of our stature. Then it allows me to designate where and when the end of the tunnel will take us; be that the past, future, or another universe.” Deftfoot slides down the rock and lands firmly on the ground. “That’s it in layman’s terms, anyways. The good news is that I can see wormholes all around us. Now we just need to find a way to enlarge one of them . . .”

Deftfoot was taken aback by Owlina’s sudden departure. He looked around at the group. “Uh. One second, guys.”
Deftfoot walked away lightly, careful not to make a ruckus as he approached where Owlina had run off to. “Owlina?” he called softly. “Is everything okay?”
He stopped at the tree, eyes scanning the floor. What should he say?
“I-If you’d like a moment, that’s okay. I won’t encroach. But I’d just like you to know that we’re here for you. We’re all in this together.”

Owlina looked away shamefully, eyes tightly shut. "Everything is fine." She steadied her breathing, appearing calm and collected. The eyes on her hat were still largely focused on herself. She smoothed her coat and stretched, her stubby legs cautiously climbing down the tree.
"I'm fine," The words were repeated firmly, but carefully, as if she didn't believe them. "I am thankful for the help," She smiled, tilting her head slightly.
However a hole was being clawed out inside her, she didn't believe him, she didn't even believe herself. But if she said it enough times...it would be true. Her pure white face was fluffing out again as the crisp breeze dried the bitter tears and comforted her sorrow.
The feline pondered telling Deftfoot about her lack of abilities, but remained silent. Her eyes narrowed as she returned to the group. Is something wrong with this place...or
Is something wrong with me?

Deftfoot could tell something was off, but he didn’t want to pry. “Owlina,” he said gently. “I’m scared, too.” His eyes grew large for a moment, and there was definite uncertainty in them. He wondered how he’d ever be able to recreate what his watch could do using only sticks and stones. He also hoped that by being transparent about himself, Owlina would see he’d never judge her for how she felt, or what she could and couldn’t do.
“I don’t think any of us are able to get home as easily as we thought we could. So don’t put any pressure on yourself, okay? It’s a big help just having you around. And I think your hat agrees!”
Deftfoot chuckled and smiled softly. “C’mon. Let’s head back. And if you need another moment to yourself, that’s absolutely fine. The group will understand.” They walked back to the cluster of cats.

Owlina's tail twitched once, then twice. Her eyes were widened in a façade of truth. She didn't believe him when he said the group would understand, but she nodded. "Thank you," She wanted to believe him, but something in her heart told her it was a lie. Nothing's changed, She thought to herself.
The multi-colored feline greeted the group quickly. She didn't want to explain anything, she didn't want to talk. Her folded ears twitched as she listened to Captain Deftfoot's talk of StarClan and the others' many prying questions. She yawned, appearing tired, but her mind was moving fast as lightning bolts.
Then the idea struck her. As monstrous as it seemed, the more she thought, the more she believed it was the truth. If Deftfoot came from a world where they travelled the stars, and he could travel between worlds. Well, used to. What if StarClan was alive, what if StarClan trapped in a planet...or worse, a wormhole.
"Do you think it was StarClan that brought us here?" She said simply, her eyes opening as she offered her suggestion.

(Bloodyrose still hasn't interacted with anyone yet.)
Bloodyrose edged around the clearing with a look of contempt at the other cats, though some part of her was still impressed that the larger leopard had managed to take down a deer by itself. With the things she was overhearing it was likely they'd be stuck together for a long time- a thought that made her furious. If she wanted to stay in a Clan and keep going to pointless gatherings she wouldn't have annihilated her clanmates and run away from the forest.

(Darkfeather - a dark blue-gray she-cat with a black dorsal stripe. Black around her icy blue eyes and black from her paws to her elbows. She has a white heart shape spot in her chest and a white tipped tail. Darkfeather also sports two scars on the bridge of her muzzle from dark Forest training and a scar on her left eye extending from her forehead to just above her jawline. She is from ShadeClan.)
Darkfeather crouched at the edge of fourtrees watching these cats mingle in the clearing. She was pleased that she had yet to be spotted, not sure how to interact with such strangers. This didn't appear to be the usual kind of gathering she was used to back in ShadeClan.

Sunnyflight had had enough of being ignored. She was going to find Shinedawn, and plead to her that she was sorry, thought she didn't know what for, still. Taking a lift off into the trees. She danced around in the sky in hesitation, wondering what to say. She decided to wing it! (Ha. ha. ha.) Diving down she met with Shinedawn, and excitedly announced, (although she tried to hide it.) "I'm not going back to our sky! I've decided I want to stay with those clans, and I think you do, too."

"You say that like we have a choice! We were dragged into whatever this place is against our will, and we'll be dragged back to wherever the universe wants us against our will! We don't get a choice." She puffed out her wings, slowly climbing down the tree she was in because she didn't trust herself not to fall out of the sky with Sunnyflight watching her.

((Sorry I took so long I had to read through the old pages to remember why I was mad lmao))
Shinedawn turned around, fluffing out her wings angrily. "Because you keep treating me like a helpless kit! You made it look like I was too pathetic to fly or use magic properly in front of Sorrelvine, and you scolded me when i didn't race over to meet the two-headed cat with you! You're not my mother, and I don't need you to take it upon yourself to try and keep me in line! It's not just you-- the whole sky thinks that I'm a burden they need to look after, someone who only got given a warrior name out of pity! I didn't even want to be here! I was hiding from everyone before I was dragged out to talk to Sorrelvine and the others, and just when I finally think hey, I might make a friend, you show up and make them all think I'm an idiot!" She growled, her tail lashing. Her voice rose to a shout at the end of her rant, and she isn't sure she's ever said so many words in a row without stuttering.
((Ha ha ha drama))

Sunnyflight bowed her head respectfully. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do anything, I just wanted to help you because you were hurt, but I'm guessing I only made you hurt more. I won't be of a burden to you anymore, goodbye, Shinedawn." Sunnyflight replied, a stream of tears making her cheeks fluff up from the water.

Bramblestar looks around for someone to chat with. He tried looking for one of the other leaders but couldn't spot them. "This is strange." He mumbled as he flicked his tail back and forth. Perhaps, I shouldn't have come.

Trying to ignore her bloodshot eyes, Sunnyflight flew in the opposite direction of Shinedawn. She had to act like nothing was wrong in front of all her normal-cat friends.

"Woah, another clan cat! It's good to meet you. I'm not from a clan, by the way, I'm from a sky! It's where cats with wings like me are from. We live in like, a mountain, and sleep on clouds n' stuff. It's really great," here, Sunnyflight sat down next to Pumkinpaw. "I think you'd like it, just judging your quietness."
