Leapkit raised an eyebrow, "No, I for sure didn't, you were already getting the zoomies or something. I was literally just standing here." He lifted a foot to scratch his ear and extended his own small purple bat wings.

"I- I- I wasn't expecting anyone else to be here..." She trailed off nervously, glancing at the crowds of cats and trying to see Sorrelvine or Lapislake. "Um. My name's Shinedawn by the way, what about you?"

Leapkit made an expression with his paws up like the other cat was stupid. "Didn't expect any cat's to be here, then what are those? Dogs?" He gestures to the other cats in the clearing. "I'm Leapkit."

Leapkit shook his head "Not a clue, one minute I was trying to chase a hare, and the next I was here. It sure looks like a gathering-place but I've never seen any of these cats before or smelled any of their clans. I'm just as confused as you. Where did you come from?"

"I came from the Dusk Skies... I was practicing my diving when suddenly I was here and I got hit by the tree branches before I was able to stop." She glanced at Leapkit's bat wings. "You're not from the Night Skies, are you? You have similar wings to some of their warriors." Shinedawn knew deep down that Leapkit was almost definitely not from her own familiar territories, but she was so desperate to not be the only familiar cat alone here that she was begging for him to be from somewhere familiar.

She peers at the symbol curiously, watching over Leapkits shoulder as he draws. "Oh, that's very nice." She looked into the clearing nervously, still unable to see anyone recognisable. "Um. Do you think we should maybe try to get out of here? I should get back to the Dusk Skies before someone gets suspicious... and I don't really like being around so many cats."

((Ooc: some fun Leapkit history is that AwesomeClan/OMGYesClan was the first clan I made on the forums. OMGYesClan was the original name but my mom had made me change it because "omg" was taking god's name in vein and she didn't think it was funny even after I explained the meme. The goofy part was despite sounding like a joke I took it so seriously to the point I got into fights with other forumers who told me my clan was bad and that's why no one was joining when I complained about it because that was a thing that very much upset child-me. I post-stalked some poor guy with a seekers icon to other boards just to continue the argument after he left my clan thread because I was so mad about it. I vividly remember this as a core memory of joining the forums and, if seekers guy ever finds this again I'm sorry for what I did when I was 11. 😂))
Leapkit shook his head. "I already tried walking out of here and back to my territory from the way I came, somehow even if your paws go that way through the forest eventually you circle back around to the other side. We could go for a hunt though, there's still plenty of forest to walk through before that happens and I did chase that hare here with me."

"Oh.... Okay then, I guess hunting can't do any harm." She gestures for Leapkit to lead the way, hoping that they're able to find a way back to their homes soon. My clanmates would think that I crossed the border if I'm lost for too long... She shudders, the thought bringing on an unwanted flashback. She focuses on her breathing and tries to drive the memories away, knowing that there's much more important things happening right now.

Leapkit starts walking them through, trying to pick up any scent of prey in the area but having trouble with the smell of so many cats still lingering in his nose. "I sure hope the noise hasn't scared everything away."

Leapkit sighs, "This is worrying." He looks up at the sky "The moon hasn't moved from it's position even a smidge and I've been here for at least a while. What happens if everyone gets hungry and there's no prey in this weird place?" his spine shivers at the thought that some cats he saw definitely won't be as nice as others about going hungry.

Leapkit looks at her with concern. "Well, I don't know but you need to calm down" He said, trying to make his voice more soothing than the usual snark. "If you freak out now, you're more likely to start getting lost or have a panic attack. We're all in this together and we can probably find a way out together as long as we stay calm.... maybe we don't let anyone know about the possibility of there not being any food though." he says quietly, worried that going back to the clearing with that information could start an immediate panic.

Shinedawn winces, looking up worriedly. "Oh no no no no. If we-we're in Night Skies, this would be v-very bad. It's kind of c-c-complicated, but the Day and N-night skies aren't too friendly t-to outsiders. I w-was in my own t-territory, a-and I've never seen a p-place like this in Dusk Skies."
Now that the thought of them being in the Night Skies territory has entered her mind, it is impossible to get it to stop circulating. Shinedawn is almost wishing that she was with the crowd right now, so she'd have at least a tiny bit of protection.

Poppyheart glanced around. The wind blew through the trees as she paced the clearing. Why are we here? Is it some kind of trick? Is some cat going to leap out at us and ambush us? Is it Dawn's Kin again? No, Acorn would surely never allow that. Or would she?
