Boz w/ Wonder (Light ) Location // The BarnBoz looked over the waking cat with a pinch of worry, nodding at the groggy molly. "Yeah.. It'll be a bit high to get to but I think it'd be a lot better." He says, figuring that what she has isn't too contagious, he nudges her, helping her up, and leads her out of the hay bale's nook. His fur bristles as they leave it's warmth, not being too much colder out of it as he slips through the hay, his ears swiveling, the windows around giving him the information that it's almost night-time now. Shaking his head, he leads her carefully for an easier, if longer, way up to the loft, and hopes Zee doesn't mind one of their sleeping spots being borrowed too, too much. Leaping up onto a hay bale, a lower one by the horse pens, he then steps up onto the gates, walking along until they get to the walls wood, letting her go up first, which lead them up higher, and eventually, with a little bit of easy enough maneuvering, up to the loft. He keeps a careful eye on her, looking around the loft, flicking his tail to tell her to follow him, one quick pit stop then he'll let her get some more rest. Walking languidly, and quietly, over the lofts hay and dust addled floors, he walks over to a few of the bowls the twolegs set out, filled with water for them to drink. He gestures to it lightly "Get some of that first, if you're sick you'll need to drink more." The tom says sternly, waiting for her to finish before leading her over to the edges of the loft, and onto the rafters, walking slowly, and carefully, letting her go forward so he could keep an eye on her steps. Once far enough, he turns towards the slanted roofing, where there's a sort of angled piece connected to the roof that leaves a triangular space. Spackle mostly sleeps here, or up top on one of the higher rafters, that's on occasion though, mostly sleeping by the windows. Spackle.. when he's tired, usually isn't very social. He's a social cat generally, but in his nature he's also a bit.. aloof, unless it's them or a friend. He just puts up with other's very well, he's a lot like Zee in that way. Bristling his fur again, it puffing up unconsciously at the cold, he looks to Wonder, and across the minimal gap. "Just jump over there, me and Zee set up some extra, and fresh hay for a big nest, it'll be warmer up here too.. it's always warmer higher up in the barn." He says, saving any possible inquiries about that for later. Just making sure Wonder makes it across, watching her disappear behind the paneling, only her ears poking up above it before leaping after her himself, paws landing on plush, fresh and shredded hay. Quick to nudge her to lay down in a comfy, and nice deep corner of the nest, he settles close to her, leaning over and against the slanted wall rather than laying down. He remembers Zee taking care of him when he was sick, and now he's gotta make sure Wonder's okay.. and he might ask Zee how to help, and he's also slightly scared Alice will have his tail- Shaking his head, he just looks over the sick and groggy cat, hoping she didn't get sick too bad.

Hi, so sorry for my inactivity lately, a lot has been going on in my personal life, but I should be able to be online regularly from now on!// Apple With: Solomon, FeathertalonThe last thing Apple expected was that Solomon would ask what was wrong. He knew Solomon wasn't uncaring, given that he was helping him, just that Solomon didn't seem like the type of cat to talk about feelings. Usually, Apple would jump at the chance to speak about his emotions, but at the moment, his thoughts seemed compressed within his chest, and he felt like speaking them out would mean unleashing a torrent. Apple had little experience in keeping his emotions inside before now, and he was already struggling to maintain control. "I..." he began, but couldn't find the words to continue. Solomon's question about two-leg nest preferences left Apple at a loss as well. What would he prefer? He didn't know much about the variety of two-leg nests, only bits and pieces he'd picked up from other cats, who had mostly complained about them. He lifts his gaze from the ground to Solomon. "I don't know," he said tiredly, maybe to both questions. "I guess... A big one? One not too close to where the monsters run." He says, tensing at the thought of seeing them again, with their low growls and wide bodies, which swallowed up prey and tore down anything in their path. He clenched his teeth and swallowed the burning in his jaw, casting the memories away for the time being.

WonderLocation: Barn With: Boz ( soot ) As soon as Boz said it would be 'high up', Wonder's ears tilted back and she sunk her head back down into her nest, as if to hide from Boz. She knew exactly where he meant. The loft. It was always a bit warmer up there. "Do we haave to..?" she whined from her huddled spot in her nest. She hadn't gone to the loft earlier, because she really hadn't felt like going up there again. That was then. Now she felt even less like going up there. Apparently Boz wasn't taking no for an answer. He came to her little hole and nudged her to her feet. Wonder begrudgingly allowed herself to be guided away from their little shelter. Her unusually hay-tangled fur poofed out, and she braced against another shiver when they exited the bale stack. She watched as Boz padded away, leaving a path for her to follow. Their conversation from before came back to her. As Boz had said, it wouldn't be so bad as long as they stuck together. She smiled a little and forced herself to follow, ignoring her paws that begged her to go back into their 'cozy' little den. As she followed, she became a bit frustrated with lack of coordination in her movements. Instead of her normal quiet gliding, her steps were twitchy and stiff. Perhaps she really was sick... She glanced around self-consciously, hoping no one noticed her dishevelled appearance. They came up to a low bale, and Wonder's ears tilted back. On a normal day this way would be kitten's play, but today, it only filled her with dread. Boz hopped onto the bale. Wonder frowned up at him from below, her uncharacteristically glaring eyes saying everything. She really didn't want to go up to the loft right now. I looked like more of a pain than it was worth. Her tail lashed once. Twice. Then she stepped forward, easily climbing the side of the short bale despite a short wince. She followed onto the fence, where she had to put much more focus than usual to keep her balance. When they reached the wooden wall she let out an exasperated sigh and subtly rolled her eyes. Grumbling to herself, she unsheathed her claws and bunched her muscles. She gathered whatever energy she could muster and leapt up, hooking her claws into the wall and pulling herself up on the intended path to the loft. The maneuvering that should have been easy proved to be quick exhausting to the young molly. Being sick was a pain. She didn't like this. Pulling herself up into the loft, she let out a big whoosh of air, followed by a short cough. She was tempted to lie down right there. Her eyes were quick to spot a nest not too far off. The end in sight, she stepped towards it, eager to lie down again. Fur brushed by her, and she glanced over to see Boz walking away, his tail beckoning her to follow. Whaaaat? Where was he going now!? Why did he want her to follow? They were in the loft! Why couldn't she just lie down here!? Booooooozzzzz! Wonder growled a little~ a completely non-threatening sound~ and against her better judgement, she followed Boz. She glanced regretfully back at the nest as she followed. She stumbled over some of the lofts of hay, despite trying her best to walk as gracefully as she usually does. After she was about to call it quits and find a nest, the bowls of water came into sight. She ran her tongue over her mouth and licked her dry lips. She was pretty thirsty. Her frustration toward Boz for making her walk this far eased as she came to a stop near one of the bowls. His stern tone however quickly changed her mind. She shot another glare at her new friend, this one more sharp than the last. "You better have a drink as well. You were out just as long as me. You must be thirsty by now," she mewed in a forcefully passive voice. She leaned down to lap at the water, and closed her eyes at the soothing cool water against her sore throat. Some of the water splashed against her hot nose, which felt good. She held her breath and dipped her muzzle in for a moment. By the time she finished, the water in that bowl was almost gone and her belly sloshed uncomfortably. Any grudge she might have had seemed to have subsided. She blinked tiredly and mindlessly followed Boz's instructions. As she slipped into the large comfy nest, she instantly lay down and settled herself, letting Boz nudge her into place. She was starting to feel hot after all that work. It was quite pitiful that such minor things now took so much energy to do. She hoped Boz didn't think less of her because of this. Her fur still felt pretty hot. "What was this nest for..." she murmured, curious, but unsure if she would be awake enough to hear the answer. It was a nice nest. And made fairly large. And if Zee and Boz made it, surely it had a purpose... (Wonder is apparently uncharacteristically grumpy and whiny when sick. XD)

Boz w/ Wonder (Light ) Location // The BarnBoz easily ignores the growl, and subsequent snippy tone from the molly, more than used to his fair share of.. bad moods, either from himself, or other cats. He's more used to seeing a scowl twisted face than a sharp tone though. Shaking his head idly, and taking a quick lick of water to appease the molly, he's happy to let her rest in the nest, understanding the dislike of being sick, if a tad annoyed with her own tone. He understands, again, he really does, but it doesn't mean he's ever been a fan of such a tone. Boz isn't.. very visually expressive, much like literally everyone in his family (If.. he can call it that?), so visible displeasure isn't seen too often, unless they're tired, or exhausted. He can't say he's not still a little tired, he didn't sleep too well, he slept yes, peacefully, just not.. deeply. He's usually decently quick to his paws, but not quite so like this, and he doubts he'll really want to sleep now that he's got a sick cat on his paws. Looking over the molly, turning his face to be more pleasantly neutral like usual, if an unnoticed scrunch around his eyes, and a slight downturn of his ears. He gives an idle look around the nest at her quiet question, thankful, and slightly worried she's already about to fall asleep again. He supposes he did push her up here, but he'd rather her somewhere where she's not to freezing.. but it also isn't good to be too warm while having any sort of fever- if she does have on. As minor as it may be. "We just made it as a place to sleep, and be in during the day or night to watch over the other cats. Without being.. noticed. A place to rest in general." He ends, sure she won't take it in the wrong way with her own- eh, tendencies? Shaking his fur, and squinting in the slowly more dark Barn, he turns, putting his front paws on the edge of the triangular nook, and peaks his head over. Zee's probably sleeping in the other place they have- oh.. he hopes Zee didn't get too worried about them disappearing. And.. now that he's thinking of it, he swear he might have caught a whiff of a familiar scent earlier down in the hay? Shaking his head, he lets his paws drop, settling to lean against the colder bit of the nook's wall, his head resting against it, enjoying the coolness. As much as he likes not freezing, he doesn't take too well to being in the warm and stuffy too long either. Looking back to the molly, he just sighs silently as to not grab her attention, quick to shove his annoyance down. He's felt.. cooped up lately, as much as he enjoys the Farm, he's been here since the cold started to even lick the air, as loose as Spackle usually is with that sort of stuff, he's always careful in the cold. Past.. experiences breed anxiety. Which, whenever it comes to Spackle, he always lets the cat off.. unless it's too outrageous. Not that'd he'd act all rude and aloof to Spackle, he'll always listen, Spackle's his father-? Well, yeah, he is, so he's a good cat, and listens to him, even if he's sometimes a bit too anxiety driven. It's not like it's anything that'd actually harm him anyway, he just feels a bit cooped up here in the Barn and Farm.. he was almost thinking of asking Zee about them going out to stay a couple nights in the forest, but he doubts it. It's not liked he'd be able to soon anyway, depending on how long Wonder stays sick, it's not like he can just leave her to fend for herself- not that.. she doesn't have others, but leaving your friend when there sick just feels a bit- ah.. not cruel, but- uncaring? Especially when there adventures he suggested might have been the cause.. Fluffing up his fur, and pulling himself from his stupor, he settles his fur down again, and shuffles his paws, figuring he can at least lie down while he looks over Wonder, maybe get something to eat later.. they've not eaten much have they- Like.. at all. Bringing a paw up to hold over his muzzle at his own idiocy, the tom is quick to look down over the edge again, and over to Wonder, flicking his ears in subtly festering annoyance. At what? He doesn't really know, but he figures it's better to get moving than sit there a do nothing about it. "I'm going to go get us something small to eat.. just rest here I'll be quick." He says in his usual way, accent a bit more strong than usual oddly enough, his tail disappearing out of her view as he kicks up and jumps over to the rafter they'd used before. Settling his paws on it steadily, claws helping his balance, before he's setting off back towards where they came from, eyes flicking to where he's walking, and down bellow where his eyes quickly adjust to the dark. Squinting, his shoulders bunching as he spots a good place to jump down, but shakes his head, refraining from the urge to make a leap for it, and goes down the normal way (and safer-), making sure to be quiet as he goes to avoid waking any other cats. He finds the pile of prey easy enough, where it always is, snatching two very small pieces, not that it's too, too hard with the colder season. Just a mice, always in higher supply in the Barn. Once he sinks his teeth into them, water building in his mouth when he realizes he didn't eat a single bit today, and neither did Wonder, they were both too distracted to really even think of it he'd say. he returns easy enough, making a larger than normal leap up onto the hay, instead of landing on the first bale, instead latching onto nearly the top of the second one, and making a quick getaway for the rafters. Tail flicking once, than twice as he tries to shake his oddly sour mood, annoyed at his annoyance- ugh, great. Shaking his head, he looks over to the nook, leaping over quietly, and his paws landing easily, and softly. Looking around the thin, but hay fluffed nest, he sets his piece, bigger, he knows she won't eat too much if she's sick, down on the other side. And than turns tail, and sets the other piece down in front of her. He'll stay a bit further away- he figures he won't get sick, but two sick cat's certainly can't do much good with each other, other than be sick together.
(Cue, slightly annoyed care taker, and also slightly annoyed patient, lool, and sorry this ones a bit late ;w; And bit too long ._.)

WonderLocation: Barn With: Boz ( soot ) Wonder gave a soft and thoughtful hum at the explanation. She had some similar places of her own that she had around the barn. She gave a long slow blink. It made her feel more at ease to know that she wasn't the only one who liked to watch the others. Through slightly opened eyes, she turned her head to peer down at the quiet shadowed barn below. Each and every cat were in their own little worlds, with their own dreams and aspirations. It was really all quite amazing. Wonder smiled and closed her eyes. When Boz mentioned food and slipped away, Wonder's eyes opened once more and she watched him go. That's right... Food. With all the time she spent with her new friend it had completely slipped her mind. And then she just had to get sick- which had put food even further out of mind. She was a bit hungry, despite not really feeling the energy required to eat much. Ah... She thought back to their exchanges throughout the day, including Boz's efforts to look after her in the last while. Her ears drooped back as she thought of how she had begrudgingly followed. She hadn't even thanked him. She must thank him as soon as he got back. The calico resolved to stay awake until he came, and ended up in a strange hazy in and out kind of sleep. The shuffle of hay and scent of mouse stirred her back to her senses. She blinked her eyes open to see her portion lying before her and Boz sitting at the other end of the nest. Her mouth watered at the scent that wafted forth from the mouse. Swallowing, Wonder instead chose to look at Boz, shifting a little so she was in a seated resting position rather than a sleeping position. Her ears tilted back and she looked down to one side before beginning. "Thank you, Boz." She gathered to courage to look at him once more. "You really didn't have to do all this, but thank you. I- I apologize if I've been a pain. I didn't mean to get sick on you like this." Her tired eyes were apologetic and a tad watery. It was hard to tell whether they were watery from emotion or fever. The chills had seemed to have receded. She gave him a small smile, her eyes squinting closed as she did. She hoped that this wouldn't ruin their sprouting friendship. He didn't seem too bothered, but the last thing she would have wanted was to be a burden to him- especially right after things seemed to be going so well. But if it did... She resolved that she wouldn't hold it against him. She had never been very good at the whole socializing thing after all. She took a nibble from her prey, relishing the flavour and the peace it seemed to spread through her tired body. Why hadn't she done this earlier? She noted the distance between Boz and herself. Ah, that was right... She'd heard that sicknesses could spread from cat to cat. "After this, I should be good for tonight." In other words, she didn't want him to feel obliged to stay on her behalf. She would feel terrible if she got her new friend sick. (Hehe. Ah yes. The joys of being cooped up in the winter. And thanks! ^^) (The temperatures Wonder feels are mostly irrelevant to what the actual temperature is. XD Before it was the chills, now it's a bit of a fever. It will pass with some sleep. The cause of this type of cold is likely due to it being her first winter outdoors. ^^)

Boz w/ Wonder (Light) Location // The Barn
Boz's ears twitched when he heard Wonder's voice, looking up from where he was as she spoke. His head tilted a tad, ears flattening slightly as he looked at her in the dark, flicking his tail, head turning just slightly to the side. Shaking himself a tad internally, he looks back at her with a genuine, albeit small, smile, head leaning against the side of the edge a bit tiredly. "It's not as if you decided to get sick.." The tom paused, huffing a quiet, chattered sound of amusement. "Unless you did, which would be a bit of a problem." His whiskers twitched, grazing against the wall idly, bending slightly. "And of course I did-" He starts slightly incredulous before evening his tone. "It's what friends do, so you don't need to thank me." He finishes, shuffling his paws and leaning down to pick at the prey he got for himself. Munching on that a bit before looking back up to Wonder, tail flicking at her extra few words. "Good." He says simply, giving a small nod. "I hope you don't feel too, too bad.." He states, nudging his prey to the side to munch on a bit more, but to also give himself some space to lay down when his done, he'll probably wait for her to finish before moving the bones somewhere off to the side for the night. "Make sure to eat as much as you can as well- being sick, and not eating much isn't a very good combination." He adds idly, and a bit matter-o-factly, just his usual tone, nothing rude meant by it. And also a bit upset at his own forgetfulness. Finishing his prey, he leaves the rest there for now, and simply waits for Wonder. he's pretty sure he might wake up quite early, what with having slept earlier as well. He'll make sure to wake Wonder up early-ish too, rest is vital, but having water is a must as well. Bristling his fur idly, nudging his muzzle against the hay beneath him in a random bout of instinctual.. need to move it just a bit to the left- it'd be more soft that way. Looking intently at the shredded hay of the nest, he hopes it's soft enough for Wonder's liking.
(Oh yeah- I nearly forgot about that, Boz's never even been in a house before so he's like:P And gotta love being sick. Boz's just like ._. Need some water?)

WonderLocation: Barn With: Boz ( soot ) She purred weakly in amusement at the idea of trying to get sick. She couldn't picture anyone wanting to feel like this. She closed her eyes and peeked through one at Boz. Though... It was kind of nice being doted on like this. The attention was a bit overwhelming at times, but wasn't completely unwanted. She kind of liked the attention, but she knew that she would feel terrible if she burdened those around her too much. A friend. He really just called her a friend! It was official now. Boz was Wonder's friend. That made the young molly very happy. She dipped her head to her friend with a happy gleam in her eye. "Tha-" she paused then, remembering his words and flattening her ears in embarrassment. She had been about to say 'thank you'. "I've enjoyed today. I'm glad that I have you as a friend," she purred before lowering her head to nibble further at her prey. "No no..." Wonder quickly assured. "I'm fine, really. Just a little warm and tired. Sorry for worrying you." She put on a brave smile and closed her eyes again as she did, a habit that she seemed to have. She was glad that the nest was near the wall. While it was usually a bit warmer up here, the nearby wall radiated a bit of coolness, which eased her fever some. She took another bite of the mouse and listened to Boz give another tad of information. Now that she was resting and had reasoned that Boz was just trying to be helpful, she didn't take annoyance to it as she had before. It reminded her of Alice. "Sure thing, leader," she teased with a twinkle in her eye as she took another bite. Her ears flicked once and her whiskers twitched as she awaited his reaction. She relished the flavour of the mouse. It wasn't fresh, but it still tasted good. She was already getting full, but luckily there wasn't much left. Wonder had once heard an older cat talking about how young cats no longer understood the need to finish the food set before them. Ever since, she had made sure that every piece of prey she had didn't go to waste. It was a few minutes after Boz finished his that Wonder managed to finish hers, forcing the last couple of bites down. She nudged her bones aside and settled further into the comfy nest. Her eyes were growing heavy now that her stomach was full. "I'll take my bones out later after some shut-eye..." she murmured, resting her head upon her paws and looking up at him. "You think you'll be able to find your way back to your nest?"(Lol. Water is very important. :3 Ah, you said Boz's voice was posh. Wonder's voice is usually soft and quiet, and any growls, snaps and yowls would seem quite pitiful/squeaky and not as scary as some cats might sound. Kind of like those actresses in the old movies, the gentle honest ones.)

Boz w/ Wonder (Light ) Location // The BarnBoz stared slightly amused as his newly appointed friend nearly thanked him, again, giving a head tilt, and a polite flick of the ear as she spoke. Boz liked having a.. friend- well, his age, if that makes any sense. Most of his friends are.. older cats, or even dogs, that they meet on their visits and walks around the twoleg place, or the forest. So having someone.. who's actually just his friend? And not just because he's Spackle's.. uh. Well- yeah, it's nice to have a friend, so his ears tilt back slightly, sorry for worrying him? Really? Well.. he supposes he says that sometimes too, but he feels a slight want to correct it, but he just lets it go, no need to be so- pushy? Shaking his head just slightly, the tom stares over the edge, he thinks he knows where Zee slept, he has a few favorite spots, so he'll probably find the older tom in the morning, Boz is a responsible cat, he's not just gonna.. partially disappear for a day and a part of a morning if he doesn't need too. His ears perk up, eyes rolling just barely in a random bout, a bit unusual for his normal reaction, and he just shuffles on his paws. He figures now would probably be a good time to take out the bones now that she's finished hers, the best place to set it would probably just be off to the side of the nest, on the bare wood for now. He can take it out later, once the lights back, he's got good vision in the dark, but he's tiny, and he's not keen on being an icicle like the ones on the edge of the Barn's roof. Even if the want to go outside and feel the blistering cold that nature can sew is very strong- He pauses in his own getting up to gather the bones, looking at her quizzically, his own nest?Oh. Does she want him to leave? He supposes that's.. fair? He guesses. Not really, but.. "Ah, I was- going to stay up here?" He fumbles out, slightly confused, either she didn't want him here or she thought he'd be leaving? And he's perfectly capable of navigating thank you very much- Bristling his fur slightly at a draft running through, he huffs a slight breath at it's intrusion, he loves nature, but sometimes it's a bit invasive. Sitting up straight, and staring down at the molly in question, he sends a small prayer to the star's that he's not.. ah, being too- Too? Too something.
(Very much! I can attest- And that's good to know- helps figure out reaction to tones and stuff, lol, and Boz also has a slightly softer, more neutral sort of voice, if he ever yowls or hisses it's a bit more of a worrying sound cause he basically never does unless he's hurt himself or something. And that's a great comparison- I'll keep that in mind :3 And even Boz has his, 'I'm too tired to understand this situation' moments xD)

(Yes. I have a habit of not drinking enough water, so I feel the effects sometimes. I’m working on it though. ;3 Good to know. I’ll keep that in mind as well. ^^ Yeah. At the moment Wonder is a curious coward, a bit spoiled, but somewhat isolated by her own fears (which can cause social exhaustion). Definitely a character with the capability to change and grow in a multitude of different directions depending on how the story goes. ^^ I’ll try to get up a reply tomorrow.)
(I’ve also been considering introducing another character. I decided not to do the housecat as I had pondered earlier, but instead am thinking of a large tom rogue who is rough around the edges. I dunno how well I’d be able to be able to roleplay him, but it might be fun to try. He’s supposed to be really good at fighting (with limitations of course), so that also makes me unsure. XP I kind of suck at battle roleplaying- though I do hope to get better at finding that balance. We’ll see.)

WonderLocation: Barn With: Boz ( soot ) So he had been planning to stay. Wonder hadn't been sure and had been fishing indirectly for an answer while not expressing any expectation. Boz was looking at her in confusion. He bristled and huffed, though she wasn't sure if it was because of the brief draft or her statement. The draft actually felt pretty good against her overheated fur. Oh dear. Boz was a thinker, similar to herself. Of course he would ponder the purpose of her question. She reran the wording in her head. Did he think she was insinuating that he should leave? Or perhaps insulting his capability? Wonder closed her eyes, her head hurting a little with all the thinking. At this rate, she should have just asked directly. "I uh- I mean you know... The dark. I've heard some cats have a hard time manuevering cluttered spaces in the dark. Not to say you are one of those cats!" She flinched at her own attempts to dig herself out of a hole. Her ears flattened and she opened her eyes to look up at him, her eyes apologetic. "I- I was just worried that I might make you sick. Though I won't stop you if you want to stay. It's your nest after all." She mrrowed a quiet nervous laugh and lifted her ears a tad.

Boz w/ Wonder (Light ) Location // The Barn
Boz's fur quickly settles at Wonder's fumbling, the tom realizing he might've misread a few things. Ears perking back up, if one tilting a bit embarrassedly, he sits back down, tail curled slightly. "Ah- sorry, I didn't mean.. to be defensive. I'm a bit tired.. I misread a bit." He apologizes, tail curling into a near circle behind him in a tell of his own.. ah- awkwardness. The tom quickly shakes his head, giving a small laugh with the same energy as Wonder's, his head tilting down a bit, his whiskers twitching. "I don't think what you have is contagious, and even if it is, I'd rather be here and get sick, than leave you alone.. while you're sick and could get worse." He says with a shrug he hopes she can see well enough in the dark, his own night vision is quite good actually. He's always had keen eyesight, and deft paws. Ruffling his fur, he blinks slowly, and a bit apologetically, before getting to his paws slightly, moving forward, and quickly taking the bones left from her prey, turning tail with them, hopping forward to the other end of the nest, and setting them down off of the soft, meticulously placed hay by yours truly. Nudging them a bit further off before setting his own left with it, and turning back towards wonder with a tired, and still a bit awkward smile, tail still a bit curled at the end as he settles back down onto the nest. He sits down a moment, paws shuffling before his resists rolling his eyes at himself exhaustedly. "I'll.. let you sleep now, I'm sure we could both use the rest." The tom says, spinning in a little circle before laying down, his head laid gently on the hay as he curls up into a little ball of fur. His thoughts are a bit slow, muddled even, and his limbs feel a bit sluggish now, so when he closes his eyes, he's not keen on opening them again.

(I love when characters have that ability to grow- it's always amazing to see actually development, whether it technically be bad or good for the character. Boz is always ready to jump and help out of she'll need it from now on, so with however she continues, she's gonna have a friend. Boz is that, meet ya once, see ya forever type, lol.)
(And that rogue does sound pretty fun! Zee, for as much as he worries a bit over Boz leaving in the cold, though it's more like keeping to Spackle's instructions, always goes out near the edges of the Farm when he can, and Zee would absolutely love to meet some random rogue, loll. And if you need help practicing with fighting scenarios I could always help ya out? Not that I'm very well versed myself-)

The farm. Quinn's ears twitched slightly at the mention of the farm cats she remembered; Spackle spent his time on the other side of the stream roaming the moors. She wondered if he ever came across any other moorcats. No. The molly shook the thought away, offering Spackle an approving smile as she remembered the dappled young tom. "Ah, that's good to hear. I can't say I got to say much to him, but it's good to know he made a friend." She purred, kneading her paws in the thawing snow. "Do you want to walk and talk?" She asked, tilting her head quizzically. The tabby wasn't quite ready to return home.
✰✰✰
Lotus was sure the newcomer would leave her to fend for herself. Coward! But just as she was about to wish demise on them, a flash of red flew towards the fox. The molly growled back her curses- for now, at least.
With a yowl of fury, she charged toward the beast, launching herself onto its flanks and clawing her way up onto its back, sinking her claws deep into the fox's shoulders. With a snarl, she snapped her teeth into the neck, satisfied at the painful growl that rumbled from the fox. "Keep driving it!" She ordered down to the feline as the fox began to buck, trying to knock the stocky she-cat off of its back.
✰✰✰
Fran nodded in understanding, wondering what troubles he had to go through to get into his predicament; one minute, a wild cat, the next, trapped in a house. Her heart went out to the little ginger tom. The grief in his eyes and the hurt in his voice. This poor kitten. "Well, I know you're unhappy, but you're safe here." The white molly began softly, longing to reach out and comfort him, but she knew Sunny was not exactly fond of her. "My housefolk are very kind. You'll come around eventually, I'm sure." Since he was so young, she was sure they would not allow him to go outside as they did with Fran. Not yet, at least.
✰✰✰
Smoke rolled his eyes playfully, "Of course, I'm sure, healer's orders." He watched as Percy leaned down to take his share of the furry morsel, rumbling a purr at the satisfaction on the ginger cat's face. "I'm glad you're enjoying it." He mewed before bending his neck to take his bite, instantly feeling warm and energized as it eased his grumbling belly.
(heyo! i am so sorry for my absence everyone! my life is not as flexible as it used to be and i am still adapting my god these are almost embarrassingly short, but I had to write something out for my return, please bear with me x.x i shall return to my normal length of post when i re-immerse myself in roleplaying.)

WonderLocation: Barn With: Boz ( soot ) Wonder looked relieved when Boz explained that it was likely not contagious. She let out a breath of relief and looked back at him with shimmering eyes as he continued with a shrug. Having been used to some more nocturnal habits before meeting Boz, she could see and move fairly well in the dark. Boz was being so friendly and kind, and was so nonchalant about it as if it was nothing. This... This is what friendship is? Wonder gave a wavering smile before closing her eyes and crossing her paws over her face. She was feeling strangely sentimental. After her emotions calmed some, she let her forelegs shift enough for her to peer at Boz from in between her paws. "Thank you Boz. Some day, I'll be sure to return the favour," she mewed genuinely, her eyes still tired looking, but bright nonetheless. She would no longer fight this kindness. They would face it together, come what may. According to their earlier conversation, whatever happens must be because it was the right time for it to happen. Right? She gave a short mrrow of amusement and lowered her paws, once more resting her chin on top of them. She watched Boz move the bones. If Boz was ever in trouble, she wanted to be there for him, just as he was here for her now. Because they were friends. "Alright," she murmured. "Sleep well Boz." It was hot. More specifically, she was hot. She was glad to have drank the water when she did, because her mouth already felt dry. She knew her stomach was still full of water and mouse, so she shouldn't have to worry about drinking more quite yet. She would likely have to get up in the night anyways, so she could see about dropping by for more then. Right now there was nothing more she wanted than to close her eyes and drift off. So she did. ~ Later that Night ~Wonder opened her eyes. There was nothing in particular that woke her. She was just... Awake. It was still dark and quiet for the most part. She stared into the darkness for a time, then silently rose to her paws. She was no longer hot. It was relatively cool, but not uncomfortably so. Her abdomen was heavy, and she knew something must be done. It must've been all that water she drank. Thinking of water, she felt absolutely parched, but first thing's first. With nearly silent paw steps, she carefully climbed out of the nest and maneuvered her way through the barn and to the litterplace. After relieving herself, she padded back up to the bowls of water. Empty. The bowls must've been finished off while they had been sleeping.
(Yes. Me too! ^^ All my characters have the ability to develop/change/grow, but of all my characters, Wonder is the most malleable. She's almost like a kit with many things, because she was too scared to experience most things that could potentially go wrong. So that leaves her to be quite gullible. Left on her own, she would likely grow to be a curious scaredy cat all her life. But with a cat like Boz helping her overcome her fears? Along with any other cats she gets to know along the way, and scenarios they face. The possibilities of what she could become are endless.) (Hehe. I have a weakness for comedy. The big rogue was inspired by a fun, cute little comedy show I watched, where there is a gangster that forgoes violence and suddenly becomes a humble househusband. So he looks sketchy and scary all the time when he is doing simple things. XD My dude would be a little different than that. I'm thinking he was from the twolegplace, and his dad was this big baddie and had a whole family of blood and non-blood children (gang). There were lots of battles and eventually the oppressive family was dispersed/wiped out/driven away- with the help of twoleg cat-catchers. Lots of stuff happens and my rogue cat finds himself driven out of the twolegplace because the other streetcats fear that he will become like his father. He will probably live in the forest- maybe the pines. Whether he really is good or bad... is... relitave? And he can develop into someone good or bad. If you want any connection to the story, let me know. ;3 Though I still got to get him posted and approved. I guess we'll both figure out the fighting stuff together. XD I think it's something you kind of figure out with each person as you go. ) (Also: Boz is such a sweetie. <3)

Boz w/ Wonder (Light ) Location // The BarnBoz's dreams were pleasant, most of the time, sometimes a bit.. scary on occasion. His oddly colored form was curled into a ball, ears tilting flat to his head as he slept, whiskers and nose twitching. He dreamt of nature, not a single scent of anything inside, not the unusual stillness of the Barn, or of the machines the farmers use. Simply.. grass- the blades rifling in the wind, and he was suddenly cold, the warmth taken, and instead filled with the biting, but content cold of leaf-bare. Snow under his paws, and the smell of water, and he looked up, eyes like that of the stars, tinged a small angle of green. What was once bright day, was suddenly dark night, looking up towards the stars, and suddenly that is all everything was, the stars. The night sky, the black, with dots among it, glittering and glowing. He could swear.. he could almost touch them, the light, the fire maybe? The chaos? Or peace? A life? Or merely.. just there, not living, just like a tree, sturdy, well used, and living for many moons.. simply just there. Could they speak? And then he was falling, his heart jumping like a rabbit in his chest, green eyes wide like marbles as they stared down to the clouds, flailing as he twirled before looking straight down... to nothing. He just kept on falling through the suddenly bright blue- and then he saw the white, not clouds this time, but the ground of the farm, approaching so fast, and suddenly it was all he could see and-
Two green, wide orbs were visible in the darkness of the barn, heart beating like a hammer, breath heaving for a moment as the tom calmed himself. Shaking his head, he looks around, he's.. still in the Barn, he's fine, no falling.. the tom heaved one last steadying breath before looking around, it was nearly morning and.. Wonder was gone? Bristling his fur happily at the pleasant coldness of the morning, getting to his paws in a still near crouch, and bumping his the flat of his forehead against the cold roof paneling before fully standing to his paws, turning and putting his front paws up on the edge of the side, green eyes squinted. There was just the tiniest of flickers of light, merely the slightly less dark room, though not lighter by much. He only assumed it was close to morning. He figures Wonder either.. had to relieve herself (she did drink quite a bit of water) or.. she went to get more water. Feeling oddly well rested ( Ohby the stars he's going to have such a hay wire sleep schedule now isn't he?), he hops forward onto the rafter in front of him.. and simply sits on it, looking over the sleepy Barn in a neat, but balanced sit, not a care at all for the heights, even after such a dream.
(I'd love to have some sort of connection to it! And I really like that sort of idea of like, a cat gang xD It makes sense, and the potential to become better or worse is what, in my opinion, make such a good character. Everyone can go down a certain path, it all just depends. And I gotta tell you, Zee would have an absolute blllast with that kind of cat, Zee's sort of the.. not to poke an angry bear, but certainly chat to them like the little weird fox he is. And fighting, definitely, everyone does things a tad differently- I've not done it much at all, but I thin it'd definitely be fun to learn a bit more of.. ideas with it sorta?) (Yeshh he iss xD And Boz, for any sort of future reference, takes more of.. intellectual compliments, or things about his ability to do things or think things over. He'd not bat an eye at a, like, pretty eyes- which i think he would be more bashful depending on how he feels towards the cat- but he's more inclined towards his abilities. Be all like, great jump! and he'll just be like :3)

Spackle Location // The Forest
Spackle's head tilted plainly, letting her take the lead once more, as tired as is from his.. dead sprint, as one might say, he's sure his legs can hold him quite a bit longer. He'd hope so at least. Blue eyes flickering around slightly as he followed Quinn for a.. walk and talk, keeping as steady a pace with her as he could with the more cheered up molly, oh, how the river as shifted, he thinks with a slightly amused thought, letting out a quiet chatter. Flicking snow off of his tail, still there from the tree he'd been perched in, he steps with slightly heavier steps, rather less quiet then falling down, now wouldn't he?
Thinking on the spot, as he's so good at, the tom gives an idle bit of conversation, small talk, something he's mastered, as he'll say once again- and no, he is not arrogant thank you vey much. As he'll argue all day, being humble is good and all, but constantly down playing ones abilities, let alone your own? Not the best move, to do so constantly anyway, a bit of humility isn't bad, but constant won't- ugh. Ears perking up at a relaxed angle, happy to follow rather than lead, "A friend is always good to have." He supplies idly, giving a moments more of thought before saying anything more, head tilted towards her as an odd bout of.. willingness, and curiosity floods him. Stepping a bit.. hesitantly for a moment, the tom's ears twitching as he speaks, "This.. is an odd inquiry, but- what do you think of.. the worth of a life? In general, do.. you think things can effect someone's worth?" He asks, almost regretting asking such a question before figuring Quinn seems the type of cat to not be too off put by such a thing.
It's a simple curiosity to an... acquaintance, that's what he says until he gets an answer anywho.
(Life contemplation question timme, lol, he's like, 'It's just a question, this won't make me contemplate things at all depending on how you answer it, not at all.')

Quinn The fenceline // with Spackle soot
Hmm. Quinn shot Spackle a curious look at the quiet chatter he made, perhaps an inside joke between him and his conscience. She shrugged it away and continued through the mushy path, her ears pricking at his question.
What was life worth? She was silent. It was to live, wasn't it? To be born, and grow, and find a mate, have kits... Throw them out. Quinn suppressed a growl and stopped in her tracks to shake out her tabby coat. Not all cats abandoned their kits, or brushed off their feelings, she supposed. Only certain cats. Ones who lived across the stream, on the moor...
"I think life is what you make it." She concluded, with a reassuring nod, mostly to assure herself than for Spackle. "Like loners- they hold their independence dear so they choose a life of solitude. Some cats decide to find a mate and have kits; maybe they stay together or don't. Some cats choose to be housecats. What's a housecat's life worth? Pleasing their housefolk? Staring out a window wondering what life is like outdoors?" Not all housecats pondered the outdoors, Fran, for example, seemed to dread it. "You make your worth what you want it to be."

WonderLocation: Barn With: Boz ( soot ) Hm... Wonder padded to the edge of the loft and looked down towards the barn door, which was open just a crack. The faintest hint of light gave the snow trail at the entrance a ghostly appearance. Her gaze gradually shifted to a horse stall. If she remembered correctly, there was a water trough in there. Her tail lifted and she stood. She stepped out onto the rafters and padded along until she stood right above the stall. It was nice to stretch out. Her body had felt stiff and cramped when she had awoke, so it felt good to walk it off. She unsheathed her claws and began to climb down the post connected to the edge of the stall. There was no hiding the quiet scritch noises that claws made against wood. Once she was close enough to the fence below, she released her hold and landed neatly on the fence. She huffed softly. There was no way she could have pulled that off last night. She padded along the fence and when she found the trough, she hopped down onto it's edge, careful not to fall in. That was the last thing she wanted right now. Bending low in her somewhat precarious position, she lapped at the water. It was cold and soothing against her throat. When she finished, she lifted her head and turned to make her way out of the stall. Hopping down from the fence, she padded through the barn, careful not to wake anyone who might be sleeping. As she passed them, she watched their sleeping forms with affection. She paused when she saw another form that looked more skeletal and feathery than her furry friends. She padded closer and saw that it was the remains of a hawk. In amongst a variety of scents, there was a vague scent of Alice. Someone must have finished the bird off and left taking out the carcass for later. Speaking of... Wonder's eyes widened. She had forgotten to take out the bones from last night! But first, Wonder looked down at a sprawled wing of the hawk- more specifically, it's feathers. Surely if someone was going to take its feathers, they would have already done so, right? She had an idea, but wasn't sure if it was really alright to pull apart such a magnificent- and frighteningly large bird. She hesitantly reached down and tugged off some of the softest hawk feathers and gathered them in her jaws. Then she continued her near silent journey around the barn. She gently set a few feathers by Alice's nest, then proceeded to try and track down Zee. She wanted to leave some for him as well. She kind of felt bad for the way she had acted the other day, so she wanted to subtly make up for it. Her strange nocturnal habits and her familiarity with the barn gave her some inkling where the blue tom sometimes was. But he had a few different spots he would go, so it was harder to track down. Should I go and ask Boz? No... I don't want to wake him. Especially after all he did last night. Morning would be coming soon, and she didn't have much time before the early risers would begin to stir. She lifted her muzzle and sorted through her barnmates scents as she tried to find where Zee's scent was the strongest.
(Lol. I could try and get them to meet up for sure!) (Sidenote- I try and describe my characters one way, but sometimes they turn into something different than I really intended. ^^ So Mr. Tough Guy's personality will be largely in the air until I set some roleplaying. It's like making jello. It takes a while to set, lol.) (Aw yes. That's the way to be Boz! -thumbs up- I can honestly relate to that.)
