Blunt | Determined | Intimidating A large, dark long-furred tom with orange undertones and a white chin. He has a scar over his closed left eye and various scars on his pelt. His tail is half-length due to injury. Rogue // Possibly Sylvanclan? Depends on who he gets to know. // 44 moons // Light Yes. I doodled on this to make him look all battle scarred. XP Extra Info: He will probably rename himself Suneater once he comes to terms with being a warrior. It is the old name his father had once given him: Sun Eater. Common Knowledge: - His father was called Big Daddy and he and his "family" were seen as a big threat to the twolegplace cats, stray and kittypet. - 30ish moons ago, Big Daddy's family was dispersed, driven out by the combined efforts of cats of the twolegplace and the human catcatchers that interrupted the big fight. - Tales of Big Daddy have become stories to scare kits into listening (Big Daddy = Boogie Monster) - Sun Eater was a name known to be one of Big Daddy's dreaded sons. He reappeared on the streets at the age of 20 moons, bigger and stronger than ever. Rumours about Sun Eater (exaggerated so not really true): - That he was a violent menace just like his father - That he hurts/kills other cats just for fun - That dogs would think twice before challenging him - That he had even killed a twoleg (not true, though he has attacked a twoleg) - The cats of the twolegplace feared that Sun Eater would become like his father so they gathered together once more to drive him out. To his great shame, Sun Eater fled to the forest and was never seen again in the twolegplace.

(I hope so, haha. ^^) (Nice. Who knows what'd happen if they ever met. ) (Also, everyone's welcome to throw in any past connections to these throwdowns in the twolegplace. Whether you lost a family member or friend to Big Daddy's family shenanigans. ^^ Or be one of the cats to have driven Sun Eater (Killer) away. I'm up for anything, really.)

(Ouu he looks like fun! I love the backstory of the gang/mafia cats I’m thinking maybe these are the cats that scares Fran away from the forest when she was younger?
And as for Killer and Lotus i think they would have a love hate relationship if they both joined sylvanclan 😅)

(That would work! :3 They could have started in the forest by the twolegplace and spread into the edge of the twolegplace as their “family” grew. Perhaps Fran ran into them before they started expanding much into the twolegplace. I’m considering somehow using it as an excuse for the disappearance of Frazzle’s family too. Not sure quite how to do it yet. Maybe Frazzle’s father (Fran’s kittypet brother) partook in driving Sun Eater out and died in the process. Maybe because he knew his mate was having kits and he wanted the twolegplace to be a safe place for them? Maybe also because he knew what his sister had experienced. Frazzle’s mum and siblings may have just been found and taken by the cat catchers later- because I don’t have a better idea for them. The time doesn’t line up for being involved in the “gang” stuff.)
(Also, the cats who were once a part of Big Daddy’s “family” will all have a specific scar. I’m still debating whether it should be on the face or the shoulder. Two lines on the shoulder was an idea.
(Haha. Maybe. ^^ I’ll have to delve out his personality a bit, and see where it goes from there. I think it’ll be fun. :3)

Zee, Boz w/ Wonder (Light ) Location // The Barn
Zee was laid neatly in a ball of fur inside of a nook, just inside of one of the horse pens inside the barn, a makeshift burrow, one he replaces every so often. This particular pen is one of the more smaller ones, easy access to water, and it has a better draft, being closer to the door. Which.. is a bit of a pain tonight, but the hay's kept the sleek blue tom particularly warm tonight with how he closed it off, only a bit of an opening so he's not breathing in pure hay addled air. He's still asleep, normally waking up in only just a bit, once the light peaks through a tad bit more, his ears twitching as he slept, long whiskers grazing against the hay burrows walls. He dreams silently of random moments, almost more memories than dreams really, of when he first say Boz jump down all the way from the rafters to a pile of hay, his heart beating near out of his chest. When he first crossed the road- or Thunderpath as some call it. And when he first went on a stroll around the twoleg place by himself, eager to explore without a leash. --- Boz stayed there idly, looking around the Barn as he did, letting his eyes look up towards the roof, and the sky barely peaking through the window, getting an idea, the tom puffs up his fur before settling it again. Looking up further, almost just above him, he sees another rafter, this one leading directly towards the little area where that extra window is, a bit smaller, slightly shattered, how he sometimes gets to the roof. Balancing with his four legs on the beam he's currently on, he waits a moment, eyes flickering as they squint, looking at their target before he pounces up, claws unsheathing just in time to gat a grip on the wood, climbing up, hearing an odd echo of the same sound while doing so.. from below? He's probably just hearing things. Climbing up, and unsticking his claws from the wood after, he strolls casually over to the window, stepping up on it's little edge of wood just in front of it, and settling down, sitting with his tail hanging over the edge behind him, head laid down to stare out of the window intently. He' idly happy for the cool breeze, less tired and achy, and more welcoming of it now.
(Spackle would have totally met the cat gang plenty of times before, being the kind of know every one cat he is. The friend of a friend of a friend you could say xD But he'd definitely know them, and maybe when he was out with Zee they met them once before? And I love that scar idea- definitely helps be differentiate, lol.) (And I totally get that, I didn't have a fully set thing for any of my cats besides an idea, which I put more solidly once I started actually rping with 'em, like jello indeed, haha. And if you want mr. tough guy to get politely harassed by Zee's amazingness, just lemme know. And I can totally have seen Zee getting curious about the gang stuff too, maybe even a bit involved with it at some point just to see their inner workings.)

Spackle w/ Quinn (whispering) Location // The Fenceline
Spackle gave a considering humm at the molly's response, considering it greatly as he did. Life is what you make of it's worth, so what did he make of his life's worth? His first response is.. how much he knows, his experiences are something many cats would want, and try to achieve. Does where he come from effect his worth, or merely what he makes of it? He's from a mill, and he's.. escaped, and now he's- well, Spackle. He knows a lot of things, and he's done just about as much, he's clever, and capable. He's got three kits he found, and took care of, and helped survive, and they're.. too much like him in some ways. He.. would say that that's worth quite a bit, isn't it? Like she said, some decide to have mates, to have kits, some stay together, some don't. He's never had a mate, and he's.. never found a molly he was particularly interested in. He's always reminded a bit too much of his own mother and father- he.. doesn't want to be like them. Not that he knew them to their very core, but- it's the fact that he had so many siblings that he was only.. half related to. Not that he denied them, but.. he feels that something like having kits, and mates-? Shouldn't be so freely given. He knows plenty of cats who know everyone around the entire twoleg place, but he figures if you're going to do something like that, have kits and such, it should be.. Genuine, real? Not just simple. Life isn't simple, and trying to make it simple will make it even worse, in his experience anyway. Shaking his head slightly, ears tilting, he looks over to Quinn intently, a deep look of debate in his eyes and tone. "If we simply make our worth.. what we want it to be, it seems like it'd be- not genuine. Or real. If it's simply what we want, say someone's a terrible cat, but the worth of what they are- what they do.. is simply what they want it to be? Than beliefs don't truly mean anything." He mumbles, considering, staring down at his stepping, aching paws, in thought. If everything and everyone is simply the worth we want it to be, than what's even the meaning of the word worth?
(Just a warning- Spackle takes peoples opinions genuinely, but he sometimes spills a little of his own to the point it might seem he's making what they said, like invalid, or like he thinks it's wrong. He don't! He just honest boi .w.)

Sunny with Fran whispering Sunny nodded slowly, unsure if what she was saying was true; he wasn't too happy about his new home. What if he never adapted? What if he didn't want to stay there? Would they let him be free? To go about as he pleased and search for his lost brother. Sunny shook out his thick fur and looked around the kitchen. It was huge. But higher up, he could see outside- those were called windows, he knew. "Can we go outside?" He asked quietly, curiosity dancing in his amber eyes. It seemed unlikely, but he knew some kittypets often went outdoors. Was Fran one of those kittypets? Maybe leaving would be easier than he'd thought.

(Hehe. It would’ve been 30+ moons ago that the Big Daddy family was around. So you’re thinking Spackle would be kind of like a friend of the family? If he wasn’t an official member of the family, he might have been expected to pay passage with prey or valuable information. Killer would have been known as Sun Eater at the time. He would’ve been similar in age to Spackle, and the family remained until he was 14 moons old~ after which the family was dispersed and he was among those caught by the cat catchers. Maybe if they were pals, Spackle could have had a bit more leeway around there. If they were pals, I’m thinking maybe young Spackle beat young Sun Eater in a game of wits and gained Sun Eater’s respect from that.)
(I think... I shall hand Wonder’s title of overthinker to Spackle. XD If she ever spends much time around Spackle, I could see it very well rubbing off on her. Gotta love that guy’s questions. :3)
(I’ll get my roleplay post up later today.)

(Spackle would have been a bit.. young, around Sun Eater's age, yes, so I could definitely have seen that, he's very clever with tricks and puzzles, which is hard to write cause I'm not xD Spackled definitely pulled off seeming older than he was from a pretty young age, taking his independence from basically the day he was born. So he could have pulled that off, lol.)
(Pfttt- Spackle.. is very contemplative of his own life's worth, and if he truly means anything ;w; so I'm trying to rp him from a bad place, to a better place, finding his meaning ya know?)
(And take your time!)

Quinn The fenceline // with Spackle soot
What was her life worth? Quinn wondered suddenly, gazing up at the gray winter sky. Well, it was worth her freedom, though limited. But at least she had gotten out when she had the chance. Who knew who she would have turned out to be if she stayed with her mother and her littermates- what would her worth be then? She'd be a true rogue through and through. Perhaps she would take a mate and have kits- did Quinn want kits? I do not. At least, not now. What kind of mother would she be? Now I'm the one with the questions.
Shaking her head, she looked back up at Spackle, giving him a mild-mannered roll of her eyes. "Bad cats don't care if they're bad, so to them what they're doing is worth it, they probably think they're worth a lot- the biggest, baddest cat in town. That's what they believe in." She paused, turning to look him in the eye before continuing, "You, you're this loner who stumbled across two kits- who, by the way, I know aren't you're real kits- they need guidance and you gave it to them. Do you think that isn't worth anything?" Her voice was growing raw with emotion. Why was Spackle so insistent on worthiness? Didn't he see how much he was worth for being such a good cat?
"There are cats who..." Quinn paused, closing her eyes to take a breath. She was growing too passionate about the topic. "There are cats who don't grow up with such good parental figures. Without a cat to save them from the unknown. Is your relationship to them worth nothing to you? Or, better yet, do you think you're worth nothing to them?" Fran Fran's House // with Sunny 𝑏𝑙𝑒𝑢
Fran hummed before shaking her head. "No, you're too young. Maybe when you're a bit older, they will allow you to come outside with me.." She trailed off, padding past Sunny and leaping up onto the counter. Pressing her nose against the cold glass of the window and staring outside. "Until then, you'll have to stay put, I'm afraid." She finished with a small sigh, sitting down neatly.
She turned her head and beckoned with her feathery tail, "Come, sit with me, young Sunny." (Quinn despises anything that forces her to think back to her childhood x3)

Spackle w/ Quinn (whispering) Location // The Treeline
Spackle's paws took a sudden halt at that. Besides his brain starting to work again, and notice the molly's.. sudden emotion with the topic, he's thoughts take a turn when she says, not if he thinks they're worth nothing, but rather, he's worth nothing. His ears are pinned to his head, a sudden bout of defensiveness he quickly puts to a stop, acting like he'd only stumbled over his paws, and continuing on alongside the molly, his ears still tilted down. He knows.. every life is owrth something, but their thoughts, feelings, wants, does that make them all equal in worth? The tom's thoughts nearly start spiraling too much again, the classic- ah.. he'd rather not. The tom's long fur ruffles slightly, bristling idly before he speaks again. "What.. am I worth to them?" He asks, voice barely refraining from stopping. "Is my worth judged by what I do for others.. or simply because I'm a life?" He asks, looking over to the molly with, less curious of an expression, and more genuine. As if asking a simple question. "I would give everything I've ever done to help them if need be.. But I've- I've yet to find the- the.." He says quietly, struggling to find the right word. What, meaning for his life? It can't simply be on other cats, if they're gone, than he'd have nothing. The Stars perhaps? To simply live on? "I've yet to find what keeps me going, besides them, of course." He decides on, he doesn't want to- well, die, but he doesn't know what to live for either, and the idleness, the nothingness? It feels like it's killing him, dragging him further. He just wants to find that thing that makes it all.. have meaning.
(Spackle could sort of care less for his childhood funnily enough, he's more of, what's the meaning of my life in the future??? .-.)

WonderLocation: Barn With: Boz ( soot ) Wonder followed her nose to the horse pen. She slipped quietly under the gate and glanced about. His scent was coming from the hay in the corner of the stall. She paused and blinked in confusion as she circled it. Was he completely buried in there? No wait... There was a hole. She blinked and cautiously approached. The air coming from the hole was warmer than the air outside and smelt strongly of Zee. This was it. She bent down and left half of the remaining hawk feathers there, in front of the small hole. Then she turned and slunk back out of the stall. She made her way back up to the loft and set her feathers down near their nest. She reached over to peer into the nest and blinked in surprise when she saw that it was empty. Where was Boz? She stepped into the nest and circled. It was barely warm. She stepped back out of the nest and lifted her muzzle, parting her jaws to scent the air. His scent was strong here. He should be nearby. She looked around, only stopping when she saw a tail hanging down from above. It was coming from the very same window she had used a while back. She paused for a moment before making up her mind. Right! She would take out the bones she said she would and take out and replace the nest. Surely that'd help make up for being so burdensome last night. Then maybe Boz would be surprised when he came back down! She carefully picked up the bones and quickly made her way down from the loft and to the door of the barn. She paused at the entrance, staring into the darkness of night, the ghostly lit snow spread out before her, flat and untrodden. Woah. If only Boz could see this. Then she saw a temporary pile of bones around where she had seen the hawk skeleton. It was near the door, as if ready to be taken out when the time was right. Her ears perked and she trotted over, setting the bones with a quiet clatter with the others. Wonder speedily slunk back up to the loft to bundle their nest. It stunk from her feverish sleep last night. Normally she couldn't smell herself, but this was just embarrassing. She took it down to the door, where she paused once more to admire the sight. She set it beside the door because she didn't want to make the first set of prints in the freshly fallen snow from last night. By the time she made it back to the loft, her body was starting to feel tired. Just how many times had she went up and down from here? She sat and took a short break by grooming herself. When she finished, the first rays of light began to lighten the sky and dissolve the shadows. Oh no! There wasn't much time! She quickly dragged a bundle of hay to the spot Boz and Zee's nest once stood. She arranged and shredded it carefully, though tried to do it faster than she had last night. This was another thing that impossible to keep completely silent. Shhk. Shhk. Shhk. She kept glancing up at the window or the door as she worked, nervous that she'd run out of time. One of the pieces of straw pierced her paw and she hissed softly. That's what she got for trying to do it quickly. She lifted her paw and licked it, eying the nest as she did. It looked good now. She shook her paw before getting back to work. She deftly wove some of the feathers into it and gave a sharp nod. She was done. Her paws were tired and a tad sore, but her mind was wide awake. (If Boz doesn't react to the sounds, she will climb up herself. If you want him to drop in halfway through, feel free as well. ^^)

(Ah yes. I love it because it’s very relatable. ^^ And I love it when characters grow from a bad place to a good place. <3 I look forward to seeing his story unfold.)
(Yeah. ^^ Though I could possibly rearrange the timing of it all since nothing is accepted yet. If you had a different idea. :3) (Killer (Sun Eater) is strongbodied and strong minded, but isn’t always the sharpest knife on the block. He’s not dumb, but doesn’t really care to think too much about things. He will sometimes though. He also has this “code” he likes to stick by. One such part of it is to respect the terms of any challenge he accepts or gives. ^^ Game of wits. “If you/I can do this, then-“ kind of thing. XD If you do want them to have had some sort of interaction in the past (good or bad, long or short), we could work out some details to go off of.) (As a kit, Sun Eater would’ve been confident, proud, a bit of a jerk, and had very little fear. He would have played pretty rough, though he’d refrain from being too violent if he’s just playing with a friend. He’d be forward and careless with his honesty, regardless of consequence. He held no fault against his father, but rather, looked up to him and wanted to make him proud. When he got in trouble with his father, he rarely regretted his actions and didn’t blame his father for it. He just considered it a term he had to accept for the given challenge. He is very strong willed.)

Boz, Zee w/ Wonder (Light) Location // The BarnZee continued sleeping peacefully, stress, worry, and lingering doubts, not to mention the surplus of extra chores he'd been putting himself to do, has made the tom tired. In a deep, lingering sleep, dreams slowly falling into darkness as he did, the idle feeling, and almost.. scent, of another cat only barely stirring him, the blue tom curling in tighter on himself. A moments respite. ---- Boz stared out of the window idly, his tail swishing back and fourth behind him, his eyes staring intently, chin rested on the windowsill. He's brought out of his idle observation by a familiar sound, his ears perking up sharply, the tom's head inclining before turning, his entire body going with him as he did. Now what would that be, a cat shredding hay for a nest this early? He'd certainly hope not considering they refreshed all of them yesterday..? The toms green eyes glow curiously, his paws bringing him up and along the rafter, the same he'd used just a bit ago, steady paws walking along it, head lowered as he stared down. It was still dark, but not dark enough that he didn't spot someone at the his and Zee's nest, Wonder's partially now as well he figures, sharing is caring as Lada would grumble to Zee in reminder, oh so often. He opens his teeth just a bit, picking up a fresh, and less sick smelling scent of his new friend, head tilting slightly. Looking down at the rafter he'd jumped from earlier, he doesn't hesitate a moment before jumping back down, landing with an audible, but not quite loud 'thump', paws quickly reaching across, back legs springing, and he lands very, very precariously on the edge of the nest, looking at a fresh nest, his idle mind leaping happily at the sight of feathers, and more so at a better seeming Wonder. Besides.. the slightest tinge of copper in the air, looking over her cheerily, if still a neutral expression. "Wonder, you're feeling better I take it?" He asks, looking down at the fresh nest, (with feathers!) and stepping onto it carefully, tail flicking in subtle, quiet joy at the new softness. Wonder.. ah- did she really feel that bad? Shaking his head, the tom gives a small smile, "You didn't have to do this you know, I just wanted to help you get better." He says, a paw tapping the soft hay. He 'mrrrow's quietly, stepping forwards, closer to Wonder, head tilted doggishly as he looked her over. She's maybe still a bit morning-tired, and from what he figures, the bones gone, the nest refreshed.. she's probably a bit tired from going up and down as well. But from what he can tell, she's not sick any more. "Thank you." He decides to say, even if she didn't need to do this, a thank you is always warranted.
(And, Boz dropping down from high places, something Wonder will be seeing very, very often from now on:3 And Bozzy boi likes feathers, soft, and it's how birds fly, and be among the stars, so feathers are something he's fond of, if he could have a whole nest of them he would, lol.)

(I think the timing is pretty good actually, it'd be interesting to have Sun Eater, and Spackle know each other, and not as like, complete enemies or something, just normal friendly..ish, not friends. Spackle's not arrogant as much as he is simply trusting in his abilities, he can fight, but he's much, much more well versed in the fighting of minds than anything else.
Spackle makes friends easy, most of them being what he calls 'friends' but aren't really people he trusts. I'd like if they maybe had a bit of a legitimate knowledge of each other? Like, yeah, I definitely know that cat sort of area. If you need anything else about Spackle for it, just lemme know, we can work out whatever you'd like for it, you know your character better than I do-)
(And I totally want Boz and Wonder to be like, good friends xD Legit friends who stick around until they're older and stuff, if you'd like of course! If you have anything going on with Wonder in the future and wanna tie in any of mine own cat's especially Boz I'd figure- just lemme know, always love more opportunities to give more fleshed out stories.)

WonderLocation: Barn With: Boz ( soot) Wonder was just about to look up to check on Boz when a black and orange flash thumped onto the edge of the nest. Wonder let out a startled meow and jumped back. Her heart skipped a beat when she recognized Boz and how close he was to the edge of the nest. To her relief, the integrity of the nest seemed to hold, and Boz was fine. She looked back up at where he came from. Must he always jump from so far up? She sat down and looked back at Boz and his neutral expression. At first glance, he didn't seem to react too much to things, but she thought she was starting to get the hang of noting the minuscule signs in his body language. The bounce in his paws, the way he stepped forward and his tail flicked. He at least seemed more cheerful than he had last night. Either that or perhaps she was just desperate for him to be pleased. She forced that thought down quickly. She'd rather not think of herself that way. The fact that he seemed happy made her happy as well. "I am!" she mewed a pleasant and cheery reply. Despite the enthusiasm, her tone was still hushed for the sake of those quietly snoozing. Her expression took on a look of understanding when he told her she didn't have to do this. In that moment it all seemed to make sense, and the words came easily to her. She lowered her gaze, hiding the smile that had begun to grow. "I know." Then she lifted her head to meet Boz's gaze. "But I wanted to. Because we are friends." A wide smile had spread across her face, her eyes squeezing shut for a moment. There was no way she'd tell him that she was embarrassed of the scent she had left behind last night. She watched him as he looked her over. Her fur tingled at his careful gaze, and subconsciously rose. She was trying to force it back down when Boz spoke once more. Wonder froze and a warm shiver passed through her. The fur she had been trying to lie flat, poofed out unwarranted. Her eyes gleamed and shimmered with excitement and happiness. "You're welcome," she purred, her fur finally flattening naturally. "Oh!" Her ears suddenly perked as she remembered what she had wanted to show Boz. "Come on! There was something I wanted to show you!" she exclaimed in a hushed mew. Tiredness forgotten, she turned and dashed softly along the loft and onto the rafters. She jumped down onto the stack of bales they had used just yesterday. Once, twice, thrice, her paws finally landed on the barn floor and she winced. She paused for a moment and shook the paw she had pricked earlier, before continuing forth to the entrance of the barn. A cool breeze ruffled her fur as she peered out, stepping to the side so Boz would have enough space to see. Snow stretched out from the barn and across the farmyard. To Wonder's relief, the fresh snow was still untouched, a printless blanket upon the ground. It was still fairly dark, but the first rays of light gave the once ghostly snow a bit more colour.
(Yay! Wonder loves feathers too. :3) (I'd totally be up for a long term friendship between Wonder and Boz. ^^ Wonder would love that. And likewise!)

Boz w/ Wonder (Light) Location // The BarnBoz stared at the cheerful, and slightly startled Wonder, head tilting with a slight smile at the cat, happy she's feeling better than yesterday. Thankfully, he'd certainly hoped she didn't get too sick, if she did than he'd have had to worry a bit more about himself getting sick. Looking at the slightly puffed, than settled molly exclaim, and turning tail, his own paws quickly letting him follow. With clean movements, he follows her along the rafters, pushing after her towards the loft, and down to the ever so familiar hay bales, jumping only twice on his way down them, landing just as softly next to Wonder, even with the bigger jump. The feeling of mid air is always.. fun? His eyes sparked with curiosity as he followed her to the entrance of the Barn, watching her move out of the way of the door, his attention quickly getting taken by something else. Wide, green eyes reflected the white snow starkly, staring at the clean, fresh, bright.. but also oddly hollow snow. Completely untouched, glittering, and sparkling like the stars near exactly. His fur bristles just slightly at the sight, head tilting a he stared at it, dipping just a tad to the side. It's.. it's like all of the stars in the sky, just got pushed together. Looking over to Wonder, a flash of cheerfulness running at the back of his mind, doting on the thought that she already knew he'd like to see something like this. He flashed a slightly toothy, but still small grin, glancing back at the snow before voicing his thoughts. He's sure she'd like to hear them. "It's like- all of the stars from a night sky got pushed together." He says, ears perking up rim rod straight as another thought came to mind, looking back to Wonder fully, with slightly squinted green eyes. "Now I've got to find something to show you.. do you?-" He pauses, tail flicking as his stomach growls quietly, his ears flattening to his head. "Oh."
Shaking his head, and flicking his tail in slight annoyance at himself, he gives a smile, "I'll have to find something to show you next time, but first... I'm hungry. Do'ya think there's anything left?" He asks, the thought of prey suddenly taking over a vast majority of priority. Shaking his head at himself, and to keep the sudden bout of hunger off a bit, "If not I'll probably try to hunt something.." He mumbles idly, looking behind him, head turned, looking over to where everyone usually piles the prey at.
(Boz is a hungry, growing boi, and yes yes! Long term friendship acquired, lol. And I don't have too much planned for Boz besides him growing up and being the adventurer type, and sort of a history buff. I've been playing Baldur's gate so much and I can only think of him as like, a nature cleric or something xD)

WonderLocation: Barn With: Boz ( soot ) Wonder looked at him, her eyes shining as he spoke. He seemed to like it and that was more than enough to make her happy. She loved the way Boz had of describing things. It made everything seem like so much more. She looked back out and pictured the sparkling snow as a piled layer of stars. Her tail flicked happily behind her at the sight. Her eyes widened when he mentioned showing her something in return. She opened her jaws to argue that this really shouldn't really be considered anything compared to everything he had already shown her, but before she could speak the quiet rumble interrupted. She froze for a moment, then broke into a gentle mrrow of laughter. At his question, she glanced back at the prey pile. The only thing left was a half frozen withered old mouse. She had the feeling it had been there for a while, but nobody had been taking it since it looked so unappetizing. Her ears flattened at the sight, but perked when she had an idea. She looked at Boz. "Let's go to the old bins and catch some more prey. We can bring some back with us and surprise everyone!" She hopped to her paws and leaned out the door, taking in a deep breath of sharp cold air. Too deep, too sharp, too fast. She gave a short cough, then lifted her head to do it again- this time more carefully. She still wasn't used to this kind of air. The only time she had experienced anything like it last year was when the farmer would come in, letting in a gust of cold snowy wind. It was a far cry from the same. The air out here was cold and poked at her lungs each time she breathed. Though the more she did it, the more she became accustomed to it. She shuffled her paws up to the edge of the entrance, and looked down at the snow that started from there- hesitant to make the first prints on it. She glanced over at Boz. (Boz: the knowledge vacuum adventurer.)

Boz w/ Wonder (Light) Location // The Barn
His ears tilted the tiniest bit bashfully, perking back up at the idea. Getting some prey.. would help out with the Barn's older cat's chores.. and they'd also just be getting food. He gave a curt, and tad hungry seeming nod. "That sounds delightful." He says easily, and a bit quieter than Wonder's exclamation, as cheering as it is, he'd like to keep everyone asleep for a bit longer. Shaking, and puffing up his fur, watching her take in too quick a breath with a small huff of amusement. Last he remembers.. he only saw Wonder a bit after he'd come to the Barn, not before, so she must not be quite used to the cold yet. At least, not on this degree if what she said about twoleg houses always being the same in temperature. Odd, however that works, he'd like to figure it out someday. Watching her hesitate over the untouched, sparkling snow, he steps forward, right next to her, a his eyes gleaming with a subtle hint of understanding. "We'll always be able to see the stars in the sky, even if they're not all pulled together." He says, giving less of a smile now, and more of a genuine set of words, like a promise. Not even a moment after, he lifts a paw, and sets it right on the snow, letting his paw sink into the fresh, fluffy stars, before his fur puffed at the cold morning, a bit colder than even yesterday, but clear skies from the looks of it, as dark as it still is. Walking fully out and into the snow, the tom's tail grazing Wonder on the way out in a familiar gesture that Spackle and Lada always does to everyone, chattering at the feeling of the fluffy snow under all of his paws. Going forward, standing a bit aways from the door now, his paws deft as he goes through the snow, going a bit far before turning to Wonder, head inclined to it's side. "Let's go hunt some prey, I don't know how you're feeling.. but I'm hungry." He says, huffing at himself before waiting for her a moment, and then making way towards the old bins. Out just by the side of the Barn, his paws taking him neatly over the odds and ands around the Barn, left by the Farmers or the cat's themselves. Walking with a bit more of his usual, neat, gait, tail flicking as he went, getting just to the edge of the side of the barn before tilting his head to peak over. He glances back to Wonder, making sure she's not too far behind.
(Ah yes)

WonderLocation: Farm With: Boz ( soot ) Wonder watched Boz step out. Her eyes glittered in gentle amusement as he assured her it was fine because the stars would still be in the sky. He sounded so serious and genuine as he said it, so she tried to tone down her amusement as she gave him a nod and stepped out onto the snow. She didn't feel as bad doing it now that a trail had been started. Boz's tail brushed against her as he walked ahead. Wonder's pelt twitched at the contact, but it felt warm and friendly. It felt good. "It's been a while since I've hunted. It'll be nice to have some fresh prey this morning," she agreed. Hunting was one of her favourite things to do, and she was pretty good at it. Her big sister Alice had been the one to teach her how. She watched him pad away for a moment, then looked down at where her paws should be as she stepped further into the snow. It was deeper than yesterday. Her fur puffed out and she padded after Boz, mostly watching her paws as they sunk into the snow. She hopped once, twice. She enjoyed the feeling as her paws sunk into the deeper snow. It was unpleasantly cold, but it was new and had a fascinating texture. Wonder began to hop in longer strides, and with less time in between. When she looked up, she saw Boz not far ahead. Tail high, she bounded past Boz and beyond the barn's shelter. The cold was less noticeable when she went fast like this. Plus, it was fun. It reminded her of yesterday, when she and Boz had raced to the fenceline. Beyond the shelter of the barn, the snow was deeper still. A clear pathway had not yet been pounded into the snow from last night. But luckily for them, the old bins weren't very far. They loomed tall and dark across the yard behind the barn.

Boz w/ Wonder (Light) Location // The BarnBoz looked back towards the bins when he saw Wonder skipping over through the snow.. Was she too short to step through it normally? No.. they were about the same size. He shrugged it off internally, paws sliding through, and over the snow smoothly as he went, tail held behind him in an idle sweep. Hunting was something Zee was better at than him, not that Boz was particularly bad at it, but certainly not the greatest. He could hunt. That's about it, he's efficient, if not a- a master at it. Flicking a bit of snow off of his paw as he started to slow his pace as they got closer and closer, ears perked, and eyes keen. He ignored the bit of weakness he felt in his limbs from the hunger, regretting not eating more yesterday, but quickly set his focus on righting that. Breaking off from Wonder, so they don't scare off too much by being right near each other, he steps lightly, and quietly. Almost managing to stay on top of certain parts of more packed in snow, barely sinking in. Waiting for her to get ready, as the bin was barely a few leaps away, he set his focus on them fully now, eyes looking for his prey. As cold as it gets, the little creatures can never resist the left over trash in these bins. His nose scrunches at the bins' scent, the most annoying part of hunting over here rather than by the farm animals food, you have to listen and see more than smell. A bit of a vital part for hunting in most cases. One of the many reasons he favors hunting in the forest, maybe when Wonder comes along he'll go hunt with her, teach her more about how to hunt in such a setting. Keeping his tail straight behind him, he waits until he sees, or hears something.

WonderLocation: Farm (“Old Bins”) With: Boz ( soot ) Wonder slowed to a normal step and glanced over at Boz. He was crouched by the garbage bins. She paused and tilted her head a little, somewhat confused. Oh- Bin! Garbage bin! It was likely her own fault for not specifying. She flicked her tail in a beckoning gesture before passing the garbage bins, giving them a wide berth as she did. Not far beyond them were a couple of old rickety structures, the dark looming forms she had really been eying. "Bin" was one of the words she had picked up from the farmer. The structures before them weren't the first thing one might think of at the word "bin", but back when Wonder used to follow the farmer around as he did his chores, she understood a few of his words in her own little way. The twoleg den was a house. The barn was obviously a barn. Then there were the shelters, the chicken coop and the garage- wait. No. The garage was practically a bin too. Everything else? According to Wonder's terminology, those were bins. The rickety old wooden buildings weren't used for much. One was stored with a bunch of random degraded twoleg objects. The other was used to store the chicken feed. The chicken coop was a short walk away from the bins, and unfortunately the smell wafting from that direction wasn't much better than the garbage bins. There was a gap where one could crawl beneath the bins and some places where the wood rotted away on the floor. It was the perfect hunting grounds for mice and the like. Wonder's steps, even in the snow became nearly silent as she approached the wooden building. Her practice yesterday and her experimental bounding today had done well to accustom herself to stepping on these clustered stars. She slunk slowly and carefully to the edge of the bin, stuck her head underneath the supporting beam and stopped. She semi-rested from all her earlier bounding as she let her eyes adjust and set her senses on high alert. The smell from the chicken coop was strong over here, a pungent stab to the nose, but underneath it all she could smell that prey was here. With extremely slow, silent steps she slipped further underneath the bin, until her tail completely vanished into the darkness. She slipped toward the place where the above floor began to dip low. It was there the rotted floor opened up. Her ears twitched at the sound of quiet scrabbling from above. Wonder carefully raised herself with her hing legs to peer over the edge of the hole and inside the bin. There. By the bags of chicken feed, about four mice were feasting away on the bits that had spilt out over time. She lowered herself from the hole and glanced back the way she came, checking to see if Boz had followed or had gone to hunt elsewhere. (Wonder is something like a... natural hunter. It (along with walking silently in new terrain) comes pretty easy to her, and she works harder at it and enjoys it because she's been told that she's good at it. Her biggest weakness would be maybe hesitating too long if she gets distracted. Hunting and nestmaking are her main skills. Everything else, she's not as good at. XD)

Boz w/ Wonder (Light) Location // The Barn
Boz looked over in confusion as Wonder walked right on by, flicking her tail for him to follow. Standing further up on his paws, sending a curious glance to the garbage bins before following her along with a mild shrug. He's heard from Zee that she's a pretty good hunter, may as well follow her, it's not liked he'd know any better with this area compared to the forest. Following easily, paws dipping into the snow with a quiet 'crunch'. He walks on, quieting his steps the moment Wonder does, and follows after her disappearing tail. He resists the curious chatter at the calling of these circular storages as.. 'bins'. A twoleg term perhaps? He knows Spackle calls a few things by words other cats don't. Like the thunderpath being a 'road' or 'street' to him, and the large monsters simply being things the twolegs use, and don't.. swallow. He blinked once, twice, letting his eyes get accustomed to the dark, his nose scrunching, whiskers twitching at the strong smell, perking his ears up and his eyes squinting everything into twenty twenty focus. His paws are extra careful once he feels the wood under them, knowing the creakiness of the material. He followed the long haired molly, keeping steady paws when he realized the dip of wood above them, the stab of anxiety at the rotting smell of it, the stab of worry that it could cave in on them. He shrugged it off quickly, not letting his fear scent get out too much before he heard, and smelt the signs of prey, along with the animal feed. He stared as Wonder peaked up into it before looking back over to him, he simply gave a curt gesture of encouragement. Letting her creep up onto the unsteady.. and rotting flooring, barely letting his mind focus on the scent of prey that he so wanted, curse the bodily needs. Keeping his breathing quiet, and his steps just as so, he puts his front paws up onto the sharply smelling rotted wood, and using a tiny bit of momentum to get himself up along beside Wonder. Settling lightly, similar to a feather, he went slowly and steadily, ears turning, and pointing, eyes narrow on the four mice. He paused for a moment, looking them over, they're full, well fed mice, much bigger than the ones in the forest, he's curious as to how Wonder might react to that. Debating for a moment on the best way to maybe get all four mice, if not at least three.. His eyes brighten with an idea for a second, going next to Wonder to communicate the idea. He looks pointedly to her claws, and her teeth, before gesturing for the ones on the right side, the ones she's closer to with a leap. He figures they might be able to pounce, and claw two at the same time each, maybe being able to get all, if not most of them at once. And if not, he figures one of them is fast enough to snap one, and leap for the escaping one.

WonderLocation: Farm (“Old Bins”) With: Boz ( soot) Wonder climbed into the bin and much like Boz, drifted across the floor like a feather. She was careful where she put her paws. Having been in here several times, she knew where the flooring was more sturdy and where it wasn't, and she had developed a knack for feeling it out if she ever wasn't sure. Wonder saw him gesture to the mice on the right and gave a single nod in response. If this was the way they were doing it, then they would have to go at the same time. If one of them left too early, then the mice on the other side might get away. She watched him out of the corner of her eye as she bunched her muscles. The spot beneath her paws should be strong enough to jump from. She timed her jump with he moment she saw Boz's muscles tense for the leap. Satisfied on their timing, Wonder put her full attention on the mice as she slammed her paws down upon them, claws unsheathed. One paw hit square on the mouse's back and the other snagged another's tail. With quick deft nips as taught by Alice, she finished them off. She raised her head, her ears swivelling as she prepared to go after any escapees or any other mice that might be hiding in the area. (Teamwork makes the dreamwork :3) (She considers storage sheds to be bins too. XP Lol.)

Boz, Zee w/ Wonder (Light) Location // The Barn, ('Old Bins')
Boz sets his gaze towards the mice once he gets a nod from Wonder, his tail twitching, ears swiveling slightly as he watches them with keen, sharp green eyes. A predator about the pounce their prey. Inching forward just the tiniest amount, keeping the rotted wood from creaking as he does, muscles bunching, tense, hind legs shifting, and his body lowering before he pounces. His claws unsheathed, slamming onto the closest one, a set of claws just barely missing the other one, he's quick to sink his teeth in a painless way to the mouse, before letting go. A sharp gaze turning to the side, catching sight of the quick, skittering mouse, and not hesitating a moment to tense his legs and make another pounce, almost missing it in the process. He dispatches it neatly, always sure to remember Lada and Spackle's teaching with hunting. Just because they're not like us doesn't mean you should cause more pain than necessary. Letting the creature's neck fall from his teeth, tail flicking at the taste of copper, stomach cheering for the taste. He shakes his head, turning to see Wonder with her two near perfect catches, ears tilting. His figure was correct than, she's quite the huntress. Huntress.. he huffs a quiet laugh at the thought, that'd be a title he oughta call her someday, just for her reaction. Giving a curt, satisfied, and nod, "Good catch, Wonder. Now we just have ta- to take them back." Boz compliments, before sending a almost fearful glance down to the wood beneath his paws as it creaks a tad ominously. He's quick turn and barely manage to heave the plump mouse up, setting it down near the hole they'd come up from, a spike of anxiety coming up his spine at the feel of the weak, rotten wood. Setting it down neatly, he goes over with careful paws to retrieve the other one he'd gotten, waiting patiently for Wonder to gather hers as well. Looking down, and debating slightly with how to get the mice down.. with a glance towards Wonder, he simply nudges his down, letting it fall with a quiet, and small 'thump', nudging the other one along with it before letting his front paws fall down, keeping away from the mice, and making quick work of gesturing for Wonder to follow, and then nudging them out of the way for her to get down. Flicking his tail idly, his head looks up at a familiar scent, and voice. "Boz, Wonder?- Oh." The blue tom pauses in his crouched way in, looking at the pile of mice with wide eyes, a sharp grin cutting the blue cat's face, looking at the two with it keenly. "You both- my, aren't you both a capable little pair, four mice?" He says, crawling in fully, head titled. He still smells a bit tired, and of stale.. something, Boz can never place what exactly the is, merely that it's the stench the Barn leaves on any cat who goes in it. Boz gives an idle shrug, "Good mornin'- g, Zee. Do'ya mind helping us carry these back? Wonder Figured we could..catch a few more to help out with the empty prey pile." He says, face neutral, but those who knew him more saw the little twitches. The ears swiveling and dipping, the tail curled just slightly. He was happy to see Zee, and hopefully be able to get out of this wood rotten.. ah- bin?
(Boz doesn't get scared of many things- but the idea of being crushed by a cave in, or anything falling on him really, does scare him quiite a bit.) (And I was just as tricked as Boz xD And he's a good strategizing cat, he can do the action, but he's best at the head of the plan than anything.)

WonderLocation: Farm (“Old Bins”) With: Boz ( soot ) All was quiet, other than the sound of Boz finishing off his second mouse. She watched his technique with an approving glance. In her own hunting adventures, she had always tried hard to make clean kills. She did it for the quality of the prey, and just because it felt right. "Nice one!" she nearly purred as he finished. She looked down at their catch with bright eyes. They were fairly large mice, having been fattening themselves for leafbare. She paused, perhaps realizing her err in rationale. How were they going to get these home? Perhaps they'd have to take two trips. When Boz started to take his first mouse towards the hole, Wonder quickly clued in and did likewise. She snatched hers and strained to keep her head up as she carried it over. The tail dragged on the floor as she padded along. Boz seemed nervous and impatient to leave. Maybe he was just really hungry and eager to get going to eat. They could eat here, but even she would agree it wasn't the best place to eat. Having lingered around here often and having Boz alongside her, she felt very little fear other than her normal cautious manner. She knew the building wouldn't stand for reckless behaviour, but she trusted it would hold as it had for all the time she had been there. She set down her first mouse with a sigh of relief and went back for the other. It would be interesting carrying this across the snowy yard and back to the barn. She and Boz might end up with thick muscly necks by the end of this. Pfft. Wonder huffed in amusement at the image that came to mind. Hopefully not. She closed her jaws around the second one, which thankfully wasn't quite as heavy or big as the first. She set down the mouse with the other and watched as Boz knocked them down into the low crawlspace below. He hopped down as well. Smart. She peered down, waiting until he was out of sight before knocking her own down like he did. She hopped down to one side of them just as another scent reached her nose. Something other than the scents of fresh prey, rotting wood and the nearby chicken coop. Or rather. Someone. Zee's voice cut into the crawlspace. Through the dark silhouette he painted against the brightening world outdoors, she could see the flash of a grin. Her tail twitched behind her as she resisted a shiver at the sight. It was soon forgotten as Zee carried on with impressed words. The warmth of happiness spread through Wonder's body that their efforts were appreciated. She peered ahead at Boz. They made a good team, didn't they?
Boz still seemed pretty nervous~ which was kind of strange for him. She glanced above them at the dark warped wooden floor. Perhaps he'd feel better once they were out in open skies and had food in their belly. Padding up beside Boz, she shuffles her paws a tad shyly before looking at Zee. "You're welcome to have one." Her ears flicked up at a thought, and she began to look back and forth between Boz and Zee. "How about we take these out outside and share one. Then there'd be one for each of us to carry back." And with some food in their belies, they'd have the energy they needed to carry the others. After all, it had been a while ago now that Boz said he was hungry. Now that she thought about it, she was starting to get pretty hungry herself. The scent and taste of fresh prey had awakened her appetite. With an excited chirrup, she went back to fetch one of her mice and began half-dragging-half-carrying it toward the streak of faint light at the end of the crawlspace, closer to where Zee was. (Lol. I just gotta work on my descriptives. :3) (Wonder feels safer in small spaces than she does out in the open.) (And she is apparently in a very good mood this morning. Boz is already having a positive affect on her. XD)
