Adeline saw Jack nod, a bit.. concerned at his silence. Glancing over to Javalle with a similar gesture. “Yeah-“ She starts, “If you don’t mind?” Adeline adds, pushing herself away in her chair from the desk some, so he can access the computer easier. She tries to not dump into Jack as she does.
I’m sure the kind man who works here is more than willing to help you get a library card.
Adeline can’t help but wonder why exactly the voice in her head-.. is.. well. Well, she wonders who in the hell they are.
It still resounds, like an echo in a cave, it’s on the weird verge of giving her a headache, but also sounding oddly.. pleasant, she supposes?
She just wishes it wasn’t there at all, to begin with.
Adeline worries about what it is. Who. What it means is wrong with her.
(A bit of worry, and angst. And the Blueberry and Javalle friendship starts unironically-)

(Oh my gosh Blueberry is so nice about him? Totally not judgemental at all? Do they know Javalle is a shifter too? Meanwhile I'm imagining Javalle trying to hunt this little guy down on a full moon without any knowledge they're sentient-)

(He’s an absolute little nerd ^^ and that’d be a great way to end with this, lol, just have his little beady, adoring eyes staring at Javalle after they leave!

Maria let out a deep sigh of relief, having not realized she was holding her breath. She didn't know what she would do if both her parents were already against mr. Javalle. Sitting on her bed she looked up at Lexa and said, "That is good at least. Maybe I might not have to deal with two parents waiting to ruin the only friendship I got." Honestly, she really didn'twant her life to get sadder than it already was. Gonna be honest, don't know what to do now.) (Mmm good question) Wanna table this conversation line for right now? A lack of excitement from their companions sparked some mutual concern from Javalle. Am I losing their attention? The were-lynx pondered if their spiel about cards would somehow subdue Jack and Adeline further. However, that was not the case. Adeline quietly urged Javalle to continue onwards and quietly slipped away for him to work their assistant magic.
“I don't mind in the slightest,” the librarian affirmed with a charming grin, “It’s what I’m here for, after all.”
Once again he aimed for the directory bar at the top of the site, clicking on the LIBRARY CARD section. Through there a new tab opened through Griffindale library's system. An enticing little pop-up message saying "APPLY HERE" welcomed Javalle, Jack, and Adeline."You just click on that big green button here to register. That part is very self explanatory. "
"Digital cards are commonly linked to something that can be verified easily, like an email, phone number -take your pick. Once you enter that infomation, the services will send you a passcode as a message or text. After that step's completed, you'll be asked more specific questions, but nothing too difficult. Name, home adress, I'm sure you've heard it all. The only really challenging thing it may ask for is some photo identification, which will need to be confirmed with a staff member before continuing. A completed application will be rewarded with a permanent code which will have to be memorized. When checking out physical or digital copies, simply head to the front desk and consult with an esteemed librarian like myself," Javalle paused for some dramatic flair , "and you'll be all set!"
"Speaking of future esteemed librarians," the feline shifter turned to Jack, their hazel eyes burning with curiousity. "Jack, would you mind coming along with me? I have a couple confidential house rules to talk to your before your first real day at work." Emphasis on the confidential bit.
Adeline, I have faith you can handle this on your own? It's nothing more than entering a bit of personal information anyways." Nothing that I have any interest in. "If you run into any trouble, there's plenty of friendly staff around who are willing to help." And who are actually doing their job, Javalle fumed. He could've gotten paid for working overtime today, but alas, more important matters got in the way.

Delvin could hear Sherman's ramblings a block away and for a moment debated on walking over to mess with him. He knows he shouldn't, his family has told him time and time again to just ignore him. However, he liked to hear what he had to say. The pack had spent generations chasing or killing off anyone who dared tried to expose the pack as shifters. Even those who slipped through would just get laughed at if they tried to tell anyone.
Sometimes, they just needed some idiot to further enforce that the mere notion of shifters was unbelievable. How Sherman came into town was beyond him. Now he was like an annoying pest but he was more or less harmless. Honestly, how he hasn't died yet was beyond him. Last fall, he had been sure one of the wandering vampire clans had got him yet he appeared a week later further spouting his nonsense.

With his energy reserves running somewhat low, Jack was struggling to take in the walkthough that Javalle gave. He managed to pick out that he needed to put in his address somewhere and that he should set a password. All this information was going to go right through him and forgotten the second it's his turn to fill in the info, he knows it. Oh well, he'll figure it out. He's pretty good at winging it. He wished he had more energy to be focused and alert, but he was a still recovering from his transformation last night. He's honestly surprised he doesn't look worse.
At least Adeline was paying attention. It was kind of endearing in a way...
Whatever thought he had next was cut short when Javalle spoke up again after a brief pause. Addressing him. When his coworker told Adeline he wanted a quick chat with Jack, he couldn't help but assume the worse and nodded to Javalle. Might as well get it over with...

Nola Levington
The day had been hectic with yesterday’s.. events. Nola dealing with a few minor effects she always gets after the full moon are barely a bother with how busy she’s been. Well, less busy, and more so just a constant wracking of memories from last night, and speaking with the other shifters that has been in contact with the rogue shifters last night as well. Besides having to have more regulations around town due to a sudden rise of animals effecting a few things around town. Nola was happy for her break, stretching her arms above her head with a small pop from her back. Careful of her still injured arm of course, it is making a pretty decent recovery already though, but not fully of course. It’ll take some time, with how deep it was, and how she got it. It was a quick thing of getting herself somewhat de-geared, though not fully of course. A walk seemed nice right now, the weather, if a bit hot.. her legs have felt horrifically tight and somewhat painful with all the sitting, and running, and the whole fight with shifters trying to possibly kill them. So, a walk. It was almost evening by now, she’s been at work since early this morning, so it’s her first full break. But she’ll be getting off early today. Nola huffs at a loose strand in front of her face from her normally clean, and slicked back bun. She was quite exhausted this morning. The weather is pleasant though, so she enjoys that, debating if she should get a small snack. Maybe run by the grocery store, and get one of those pre-made sandwiches. Nola forgot to make lunch. Which. She… was mildly frustrated with, mixed with the exhaustion, and injury, and the post full moon shifting effects. Not all that pleasant. Thankfully, once she’s off today, she’ll be able to head to the library after (even if she wants a nap more than anything) for a bit of general helping out. |

Adeline ᓚᘏᗢ
It seemed like the usual sort of sign up. All that information, address, so on, so on. The photo is a bit of an- would prefer not aspect, but worth it for a library care. Adeline had listened closely, brows just a tad pinched as she did, nodding. “Alright, sounds.. like the usual.” She responds, somewhat distracted. Apartment building, and apartment number, her email, name- obviously. She hums, giving a bit of an amused smile, and a huff at his flourish before she scooted her seat a bit closer towards the desk once more. Her feet hooking together as she leans forward. Adeline hadn’t realized Javalle addressed Jack before she heard. A.. whistle, and the what she can identify as- an amused squawk. Confidential house rules the librarian says. How curious.Adeline startles at the sound from the voice-.. and a squawk? Was that the voice? Or.. well. What else is knocking around her head like a caves echo? Adeline gives an affirmative. “Yeah, I’ve got it.” She replies, sending a curious look between the two, what with her voice’s interest and all, but.. doesn’t linger too long. She turns back to the computer, and makes her way to putting in her own information. Name first of course, Adeline Nicholson. |
