Leo wanted to ask if he could come over to his house sometime, but his mother and father wouldn't be the happiest people in the world if this happened, and he had just met this girl today, he wasn't even sure if she liked him or not, most likely not- I'm a straight up pheonix, and she doesn't like the warmth, why why why do you have to have a crush on a girl you could never be with?"Oh uhm- I'm Nightshade, you know like the poisonous flower?" She looked down at him, her sharp green eyes burning holes in his face despite their chilly nature. "Very interesting your name is Leo, since that's a symbol of fire in the zodiac signs. Quite fitting- and rather ironic." Then she let out a low chuckle as she turned to scale further up the tree, shaking her head. This has been one hell of a day... I might just be tired enough to sleep tonight! Not. "We can meet up wherever. I'm not picky, and I get the feeling your sister won't be either as long as I show up." |

"Yep," he chuckled, "Thats Sage, and, believe it or not, my zodiac is a Leo, ha, my parents weren't very excited appearntly. And for where we meet.." he paused, thinking for a moment, "Know that large Oak tree just a ways away from here? Thick as a redwood? How about there, tommorrow afternoon?" Leo grinned as he thought of Sage's favorite place in the forest- she was little when they discovered the area, and called the tree a Chonky Boi, so the name stuck- ever since then Chonky Boi was Sage's favorite spot in the whole forests, and considering how big the forest was, it would be hard to chose a favorite.

"Will do dad." Lexa waited for her parents to leave before letting out a groan and placing her hand on the back of her neck. This all could have gone a lot smoother. She lingers for a few minutes before making her way towards the stairs to try and find her sister. What she found was her brother looking expectantly at her. "Something you want to share dear sister?" He questioned. Lexa walks past but motions him to follow. "I'll explain on the way oh and there is something I have to tell you and you are going to lose it!"
Michael, who had been out running errands, notices a familiar looking figure in the distance. He moves closer to investigate and for a brief moment thought it was Delvin. However, upon closer inspection he quickly realized that it was actually his twin Selene. Been a while since I've seen her around. "Hey!" He called out hoping to get her attention.

( soot I’m not sure if he has a bipedal form or not, maybe when the hunters get him and Javalle and turn them feral for a bit? But I think there’s definitely wolf trait like claws and teeth when he resists hard. I do want him to have ONE victory where he manages to successfully fight it off and then never again lol ( Junospower how do you manage to know exactly what I'm thinking? It's scary. Stop it.  Seriously, I was planning on making that a plotpoint with the hunter arc too! I have this thing planned where Javalle has some internalized conflict since technically he can't transform outside of full moons. He forced himself to shift once and then never again. He can do it but the pain is unbearable and they don't feel pressured to waste a bunch of energy. They could definitely help out Jack if worst comes to worst. Again, poor guy can't get a break. Love planning ahead and seeing the thread active! Also, welcome, Rivermagic I'm sure Selene will be a more than welcome edition to the pack chaos haha-) |

Part of Selene was considering calling a tow service. They should be able to handle picking up a bike, right? She continued to rack her brains, to try and come up with a plan, but her train of thought broke at a sudden sound. She nearly jumped out of her skin, and looked off to see a mildly familiar figure. Well, he was a sight for sore eyes. She stood up from her kneeling position, then raised an eyebrow towards Michael. He was certainly a sight for sore eyes. "Hey yourself." she called back, trying hard to fight the smile creeping onto her previously frustrated features, "You gonna help a girl out or just keep standing there?" She tilted her head to one side to try and see if she could gage his reaction. |

While her family discussed Javalle Maria was in her room changing into more fitting cloths. This wasn't how things were supposed to go. She knew her dad was bull headed, especially for a wolf, but this was insane. Javalle saved her. He wasn't mean, nor did he want anything for helping when he had no reason to. She just hope that her brother and sister weren't going to be forced to bring him here. That wouldn't happen, right?

Hawkeyes258, I was wondering, what is the next sort of 'event' gonna be for dealing with the rogue shifters? I know Nola is still doing research into the attacks (and healing up from her own injuries), so is there anything specific that you might want me to work with and stuff? "Perish the thought." she rolled her blue eyes, "I think a tow service might be a better plan, but I also don't want anyone else touching my ride." She crossed her arms over her chest, looking over to try and gage how many potential onlookers there were. "You know anyone with a pickup truck? I bet it could be easier to just pop it in the back." she mused. |

(okay, this may sound silly but I may have to do some further research on how libraries actually work?? So I actually know what I'm talking about when writing Javalle's work experience. Response is coming tonight though but I wanted to say something. I may draw a diagram map of Griffindale's library when I have the time for it!)

Now they just had to wait. At least it would be with someone she tolerated. Now there was a pit of awkwardness when it came to her absence. "I... Yeah, I didn't think the office would keep me in Portland that long. But I hear shit went down." she noted. She was only grasping at straws, but Delvin could only text her so often, and she hardly had her phone on her for that retreat. Still, she didn't like being so much in the dark. |

Javalle passed his gaze over the shelf rows, aimlessly checking to see if they were organized. They placed the last supernatural book back in its place; Jack was beginning to look uncomfortably suspicious for Javalle's liking. Not that he would deny his co-worker any information, but the book wasn't for his eyes just yet. Perhaps if they talked things out more on their job...
It was the stranger's question that took Javalle by pleasant suprise. He hadn't expected her to speak so soon- and have an interest in the paranormal, no less. Relaxing a bit, the feline shifter crossed his arms, keeping his posture more casual.
"A journal, you say... Have you tried going to a museum for advice? I'm not sure how expansive our archives are, and the lack of an author would stop our search short, I'm afraid."
Sensing that the lady would be disappointed by this outcome, Javalle tried to say something reassuring.
"Don't get me wrong, I'd love to help. But more information wouldn't hurt. I wish you both luck in your research; Griffindale's history is so rich- it never fails to impress me each day..." And subsequently terrify me. Never would I have imagined seeing so many cryptic mysteries running around. They kept that last bit to themselves.

"You can say that again." Michael remarked as he crosses his arms over his chest. "Everyone is still a little shaken from the attack." There had been so many of them that the fighting seemed to last for hours. He didn't remember a whole lot from that night but he did remember letting the rage take over. "We uh lost a couple of members in the fight."
Leon frowned as Lexa finished explaining the whole story. "Are you for sure it wasn't just some were bird or something? There is no possible way it could have been a dragon. Most dragons especially the really big ones are sleep or completely extinct." He found it very hard to believe that his sister saw a Were-dragon. "As for this Phoenix, you might have just seen a red-tailed hawk." Lexa takes this time to smack him in the head. "I know what I saw Leon! Maria can testify as well. In fact, he wants to meet us again. Watch I'll either bring you alone or get a feather." She pauses at Maria's door and knocks on it. "Hey it's me and Leon."
