(Oh yes, completely healthy for him! In the next couple responses I'm going to let Javalle contact the library to let any NPCs working there know what's going on. Let's say he's going to be especially concerned for Jack. I also wouldn't mind another interaction between Jack, Javalle, and Maria when he takes her to the pack for extra awkwardness. Terrified kid who saw Jack lose his ever-loving mind vs. The confused co-worker who saw Jack for two seconds on the full moon and wants to check on him. FORGOT TO MENTION! Javalle's response is done if you want to let Maria start shifting back now, bloodrosepelt might have to go two pages back to see it!)

Teagan sits down on her haunches little more relaxed that one of them shifted back into her human form. She still had her suspicions yet, these two sisters didn't seem that dangerous. "My name is Teagan, I am one of the Betas of the Primal Bloods. We are a shifter group and this is our territory. Forgive me if I seem cautious, last night we were attacked by rogues.

Sage shifted back to her human form and stared at Teagan. Her blonde hair sported various leaves and blades of grass, but her face was eager. A group?! she thought. A place that we could belong! We could settle! No more traveling! No more running! Her face betrayed her thoughts, her greenish eyes swirling in anticipation as she allowed her hopes to soar unrestrained.
Alanna was more reserved in her reaction to this new piece of information, though a spark lit in her eyes at the mention of rouges. Their parents had been killed by their old group, and she never knew why. She had been wary of other shifters since. The thought had entered her mind that maybe there was a reason, but she could never bring herself to view her parents as anything other than victims. The idea that they could have done something horrible was inconceivable, but then, was it really more far-fetched to think that all shifters were just cold-blooded murderers? Alanna shook her thoughts away. Seeing Sage so hopeful softened her gaze slightly, though her shoulders remained tense. I suppose it's worth a try... she thought. We can always leave... This woman didn't act threatening, so she took a step forward with a deep breath. "Do you... mind if we... stick around awhile?"
Sage's eyes widened at her sister's question, not expecting her to be so forward, but her surprise quickly dissipated with a broad grin, and she looked to Teagan for her reaction.

Teagan considers this for a few minutes. She ought to just send them on their way and leave it at that. However, she couldn't really bring herself to send the two wolves away. The Crimson Bloods might still be around and she didn't want them to get hurt. "As long as you both don't cause the pack trouble, I don't see why not. Follow me."

Sage almost leaped into the air at Teagan's words. She managed to restrain herself, but couldn't help letting out a quiet "Yes!" as she started to bounce along behind her.
Alanna blew out her breath she didn't realize she was holding. She eyed Teagan warily one more time before silently trailing after them. She would give this a try, she decided.

Teagan turns around and starts leading the way back to camp. She briefly glances back to make sure they were following before continuing forward. She was already crafting an explanation to Delvin who would know doubt have questions about their new guests. After some time walking through the forest, the trees part to reveal a huge clearing where the pack homebase was located.

Sage and Alanna looked around with identical expressions of shock on their faces. Their eyes widened and they looked around in amazement at the various sized houses, paths, and other buildings. With the sun rising behind it, the clearing had an almost enchanting effect.
Sage's grayish green eyes were shining, and also slightly full. Her emotions were getting the better of her, but she was determined to keep it together. Her mouth rested in a small smile as she turned her gaze up toward the morning sky. So beautiful... she thought. What a life they must live here...
Alanna sucked in a deep breath at the overwhelming sights, sounds, and scents suddenly assaulting her senses. She blinked rapidly as she tried to regain control. Closing her eyes, she took a couple more deep breaths before reopening them. Her reddish hair lifted in the sight breeze, and she felt a strange feeling rising in her chest.

Though his ears were still pinned back, Javalle allowed his body to loosen up and listen. He smiled at the need for Maria to call him "mister" which he took as a respectful comment, and was touched at the fact the wolf was concerned for him when she was the one howling up a storm. Ah, don't worry about me. I've had worse nights. And it was true. The terror he experienced with Detective Anya nights earlier was still relatively fresh, even though the he made acquaintances with the were-tiger at the coffee shop. He lightly rested his chin on Maria's back as she sank to the floor, which was the best physical comfort he could offer. I get not being able to sleep when your family's far away. It's one of the loneliest experiences one could ever face.He laid there in consolable silence with Maria for a moment, hoping their words were enough to keep her at ease. The wolf shifted their head, and Javalle followed her gaze to the windowpane. The weakest sliver of light filtered beyond the trees' leaves outside and cast a faint pattern on the floor. It wasn't bright enough to cause urgency just yet, but it did stir a small amount of concern from the lynx. The fur on his shoulders rippled involuntarily, as if telling Javalle it was almost time to welcome his human half again. He hauled himself back up to his paws, and shortly after Maria did the same. Javalle pricked his ears up as he listened to the pup's concern, and frankly, he was relieved to hear that Maria shared his thoughts with wanting to change back. Oh, yes. I promised to show you where the restroom is. Come with me. The lynx swerved to his right and headed straight down a wide yet short hallway with two doors on the left and right walls. Javalle opened the door to their left (an exercise he was also getting bored of doing) and allowed the wolf inside. The bathroom was relatively roomy in spite of the numerous necessities, complete with a towel closet and a walk-in shower. There were frames above the sink faucet depicting rustic decor, and even an air diffuser that hadn't been turned on yet. Do whatever you need to do. We're in no rush. Another last-minute idea smacked him on the head, the same fleeting thought that slipped his mind before He went to sleep. Naturally the girl would need something to cover herself up if they were going to go back outside when the sun rose. He had a bin of clothes under his closest that he wore when he was younger, he was sure of it... Uhm - do you need anything to change into once you're finished shifting? I have some old clothes, but I can't guarantee they'll fit...(The fact I put in more detail describing the bathroom than the living room I'm not typically great at going in-depth about room decor and all that so I'm trying to stray away from it for the time being. Also I did not intend it on purpose but somehow these posts keep getting longer and longer.) Maria didn’t really move when Javalle rested his head on her back in attempts to comfort her. The action did make her feel a little bit better, but not much. She was still really tired from everything that went on during the night. It also didn’t help that her paws were achy from all the running. Like seriously they feel like she just took a hot lava bath and it was set to molten core temp. Slowly she got onto her paws and followed the lynx to the bathroom. Oh sweet shower how beautiful you are, so your sweet water will cleanse her of all her worries. ‘Thank you, as soon as I have thumbs I will.’ At the mention of cloths her tail tucked itself firmly between her legs in sheer embarrassment. Oh right the one thing that her mind happened to block out, the fact that she is commando. What should she do? Here she was with a veritable, though nice, about to be as natural as the day she was born. ‘S-some cloths would be nice,’ she said back to him with a whimper. I am having to write on mobile and don’t know how to bolden or italicize, so ‘…’ is how she will be talking. As for meeting Jack again, that should be fine. She will just be her still nervous self, just a little more exhausted.)

Noticing Maria's startled whine of unease, the lynx shrunk back a little. Of course the pup would be wary of getting dressed by strangers. Sometimes he could just be too blunt for his own good. Embarrassed heat flooded through his flushed face at his blunder. In related news, the spasm in his shoulders from earlier upgraded into a tingling sensation across his spine, the hair on their back beginning to bristle slightly. The sooner he found a safe place to transform, the better. Guess he wouldn't stall things any longer.
Oh, um Maria... I guess I'll leave you to it. If you need anything, just give me a holler. In fact, I'll be right next door in my room Once I'm back to being human, I'll get some clothes laid out for you. I'll give you a knock and place them on the floor. He motioned over to the door to the right, conveniently home to Javalle's bedroom. It didn't look incredibly roomy like the living space but it was satisfying enough for him. With a final glance at Maria, Javalle headed inside and to get to the lair. He was fatigued and couldn't close the bedroom door, so he settled for the next best thing: the side of his sleeping book where no unsuspecting visitors would see him change. Cautiously the soon-not-to-be lynx crouched down on the side of the bed rest and waited for the grueling shift take over.
(Not going to lie I was NODDING OFF when so wrote this so grammar and spelling errors may be present. Excited to see your weaver in action, Blood!)

Teagan allows herself to look back just in time to see the two girls reactions. She lets out a soft chuckle before continuing onwards. Most of the shifters that were still around turned to watch the new commers. Some watched them curiously while others glared at them. She comes up to the mansion where she finds a tired looking Delvin leaning against a pillar. He notices Teagan and two strangers walking towards him.
Once they were close enough, Teagan stops and motions to Alanna and Sage. "Delvin, I want you to meet Alanna and Sage. I met them while scouting for any stragglers. They are travelers looking for a place to stay."
Delvin gives them of them a nod of his head. "Welcome to the pack. My name is Delvin Blackwood alpha Sol of the Primal Bloods. Apologies for not being properly dressed. We had a rough full moon."
(For context Delvin is shirtless and wearing some ripped jeans)

(I was thinking the same thing!)
Roger spent most of the night anxiously looking for Jack. Darcy managed to keep back any rogues though for a time they had to lie low for a little bit. Roger ended up sending Darcy away back to the pack houses due to a nasty looking injury on her shoulder and leg. He continued on all the way until the early morning. He ends up finding Jack leaning up against the tree. "Oh thank the moon." He mumbled as he walks over to him. "Jack? Can you hear me?"

Sage grinned at Delvin. "Nice to meet you sir!" she said. Although she was trying to be polite, her excitement leaked through and she couldn't restrain herself this time. Reaching out, she took his hand and shook it vigorously. "I hope that we won't bother you too much." Obliviously letting go, she glanced at her sister and motioned around. "I'm gonna go look around! See you later!" With that, she practically floated away.
Alanna's gaze followed Sage as she walked away, a small smile on her lips at her little sister's lack of social awareness. Even now, people were staring at her, and she either didn't notice or didn't care. Shaking her head, Alanna turned her attention back to the bare-chested man in front of her.
Her face changed slightly as she took him in. Messy dark hair, tired face, body covered in fresh scrapes. She felt a strange twinge, but controlled her expression well. "Sorry about that." Alanna apologized. "She can be a bit much sometimes." She hoped Delvin wouldn't take her sister's actions as a sign of disrespect. The last thing they needed was any conflict.

++ Charlemagne Cross-- "I curated that mixture myself," He'd responded with a distracted hum, leaning on the truck to give his still-healing leg a break.
"Ah, yes. That would be for the best." He'd acted like he was offering her aid when he'd only made her situation worse. Of course...His answering sigh was silent when he gave the woman a stiff nod and turned back toward the trees.
The remainder of Charon's night was spent performing battle triage throughout the Primal Bloods' extensive woodland territory. He was dismayed to learn the assault on his son was not an isolated incident, as a rather sizable...pack of varying shifters had apparently seen fit to terrorize their own in its entirety. With the deputy at his side and other packmates seeing the value of his work, he remained blessedly free of any more significant injuries- bar the one time he'd elected to physically lift and toss a werefox that had been snapping at another- he was also helped along by a...gift ftom their newest detective. Charlemagne was loathe to use it even with the license to do so. (One he'd hastily obtained after Metaxas had left what he is sure is some form of contrband on his property)
They made it through the night with more than the blood of his packmates on his hands but Charlemagne willed the shock that was sinking into his numbed mind away with an itemized list of everything he had yet to accomplish. There was no time for rest or horror. He still didn't fully recall the events following Blackwood's 'all clear' message. There may have been a bleary farewell to the deputy, who had remained staunchly at his side through the worst of it- but at some point after that he was in his car and finally driving Bruno to the hospital. He can distantly recall a noisy escort as well...Metaxas' rough voice laughingly praising his aim, and a damp hand delivering a staggering pat on his back.
Sitting in a blindingly white hospital room filled by the drone of machines- he can still hear the animal screams; tearing of flesh and snapping of bones he'd been tasked with setting right. Charlemagne is no stranger to grisly injuries and their aftermath, but to see firsthand what had caused them...he doubts he can ever become fully acquainted with that. He doesn't want to. Else he'd end up like Metaxas.
Bruno shifts in his bed and Charlemagne gladly allows the direction of his thoughts to take a turn toward the lighter. His son wasn't one of the many that they would be lowering into the ground this following week, and he has two people to thank for that...he has met with Teagan but the deputy must have been busy in the aftermath. His work in the hospital and on the pack grounds prevented their paths from crossing thus far. Perhaps he should have gotten her number- despite his aloof nature, Charlemagne prefers to be a part of his patients' healing journey. And he's particularly invested in the deputy's recovery. He eyes his phone thoughtfully where it lies on the bedside table, ignoring a text from the detective and clicking his tongue when it starts ringing.
"What."
"Heey Doctor Dolittle~ I just thought you'd want an update on the case but if you're busy-"
"No. no." He relaxes his shoulders and rests his elbows on Bruno's sheets. "Please share."
Zhenya isn't actually at liberty to discuss his work, but he's made an exception for 'his favorite Surgeon Supreme'. The teasing hasn't diminished, but Charlemagne has noticed him checking in more and surreptitiously studying his stoic features. The report is brief and fails to contain any actionable information, but it reassures him to have proof that Zhenya is working on it. Not that there was any doubt to the contrary...he had been unfortunate enough to be nearby while the weretiger was making colorful promises to someone who was fast becoming a corpse...
"-so Nola and I-"
Charlemagne sits up straighter. "Pardon the interruption- can you tell me how she's recovering?"
"Hmm~? Why don't you ask her yourself?"
He moves the phone away from his ear to narrow his eyes at it but can't determine whether there's something more than the usual puckish curl in the younger shifter's tone. "I don't have-"
Metaxas only laughs before rattling off a series of numbers. "And remember to get her flowers too, 'kay~?"
"Wha-"
"Oh no~ I can hear my toast in the microwave! Gotta go- answer my texts next time!"
The call ends and he's left frowning at his lockscreen. Charlemagne sits in silence for a moment. He unlocks the phone to check his texts but closes the detective's one-sided conversation when the first thing he sees is an image in a 'meme format'. That split second already revealed more than he wanted to see however; Metaxas is posing in front of the police station with double peace signs and the glittering pink caption: 'Felt cute, might investigate something especially heinous later'
...If he's at liberty to call and 'chat' however, it would mean that his shift is over or he's at least on break. Could it be that Levington has a similar schedule? She'd been mentioned as if they'd discussed their findings recently...Charlemagne considers his phone for a moment but decides against contacting her himself. It wouldn't feel right and he doesn't want to bother her if she's busy.
"Bruno, are you awake?" He leans over his son's bed to smooth the hair from his face. "Would you like anything to eat?"

.’ - Nola Levington - ‘. The first thing Nola did once she got in, buckled, and took up as little room in the back of the doctor’s truck as physically possible, , was call her father. They’d been confused at the noises they’d heard, understandably, and the relief she felt was astronomical that none of them had a run in with the rogue shifters. Their subsequent worry was instant. Once they arrived to help the Primal Blood pack, Nola did what she could. Helping with her minimal knowledge of medical expertise, and also asking questions of what happened to write later, and mentally compiling information for investigation, and her report. She’s technically an eye witness, and victim. It’s a little hard to hide the tussle she has when she had to go into work with no shower inbetween. Once the sun started leaking above the horizon. It didn’t take longer than a few hours before she’d jogged back to her car for her spare set of (fitting) clothes, changed quickly, and then drove back to the station with Zhenya following her. She’d instantly got to work, laptop set up because she prefers it over her computer, putting her lists together, the usual, victims, what they’d witnessed and the such. After those lists were put together, it was her report. It was half written when she heard the microwave in the break room go off, pinching her nose before she got up in a flash, and quieted the blaring thing. Out of all the microwaves Nola’s ever encountered, this singular, specific one.. is the most pestering. With one more deep breathe, Nola went back to the small couch, sitting down with slightly less neat posture than usual, one elbow on her knee, the other on the table as she goes back to type out her report, very quietly humming the small, quiet tune the doctor, Cross, has hummed earlier. She’s careful on her arm placement, still aching slightly, her healing slower now that the full moon is down. She vaguely hears the slowly more familiar voice of Zhenya in the background, silently debating why someone would put bread in a microwave.. And of when she should contact Cross. Nola figures.. tomorrow? But she also wants to make sure Bruno is doing alright.. (I hope this is alright? If not, we can pretend it was switched around a little bit, haha. And.. bread, in a microwave, Anya?? ; ;?)

. ‘ + Callisto Ayutthaya + ‘ . The alarm on her phone started going off about an hour late, cheery and bright, Well, technically not late, she woke up early. Callisto was already out of the shower, hair dried and put into a high ponytail, a few braided pieces running through the strands. Her makeup is almost done, mascara, thin but sharp eyeliner, a bit of bronzer and eyeshadow.. a pop of her lips with lipgloss, and she’s.. Ready. Callisto, with that done, turns from the mirror on hung on her wall, and reaches over to shut off the alarm blaring cheerily from her phone. The full moon went well, smooth actually. She’d shifted, and spent the night roaming idly in her apartment, before simply.. going to sleep. And she woke up, and went back to what she normally does in the morning. It’s her day off, thankfully. The full moon always leaves her feeling off, so.. whenever she can manage, her main day off is after the full moon. Plus, her fridge is empty because she’d had exact meal plans.. which went well, by the way, tasted good, not as good as mom’s or her brother, but she’s still cooked too long to not have the hang of it. Speaking of which, carefully slipping on her doc martens, already dressed in fifteen black slacks, an elegant lavender shirt tucked in, short sleeve with small prices of lace on her shoulders, and back, and a thin dress jacket over her shoulders. She’s tired. Callisto feels like when you stay up way to late, than drink two cups of coffee from Starbucks with double the shots of espresso. The caffeine crash, that.. is a good way to explain it. Thankfully, she’s done this for years, and knows in a few hours, hopefully once she’s done shopping or a get’s home, she can go about her day less wanting to take a cat nap that lasts four hours. Speaking of cat nap, she nearly forgets her breakfast.. and jogs back inside to warm up her breakfast (she feels terrible without breakfast) and eats at all the red lights to the five minute drive to the grocery store. (There was only two red lights-) And thankfully actually remembers her wallet this time. The store was relatively empty this early, thankfully again, she’s tired, and.. of really in the mood to talk with anyone about money besides how much her groceries will cost. Did she get a shopping cart?- no. Oh. No she didn’t. She’s always so forgetful after the full moon.. and way more tired than usual. And she… kind of wants coffee, is coffee a bad idea? Maybe after she’s done shopping. Turning her phone on, (after getting her shopping cart) she scrolls, looking for the first items, frozen or fresh items on the bottom of the list, and heads for the bread isle, waving at a mother strolling her toddler around, redesigning from cooing as she passes. … Does she have her wallet? (She’s normally not so forgetful and tired, haha ^^’ she gets all antsy and caffeine crashy after the full moon)

His body burned and ache and his head didn’t fair well either. A constant pounding and boring, like a jackhammer. Every part of him wanted to slip into oblivion and never wake up, like when he was mauled in the woods. He was pretty sure he would have let himself fade away, but that distressed voice pierced through the void. He wretched his pale blue eyes opened, now dulled gray in the early morning light. He was weak and could barely make out the figure above him. ”Roger…?” He barely managed to croak out. (I imagine first timers have a very hard time recovering. Luckily for Jack I am merciful this time and will let the guy recover after a bit of rest)

Roger gives him a soft smile. "Yeah it's me. How are you feeling?" He had a million questions but he didn't want to overwhelm the poor guy. He could smell lots of different scents on him, least he didn't appear hurt. "You had us worried you know. Do you remember anything from last night?"
