(This is my first time playing. Currently on chapter four and decided to just free roam for a while to hunt, explore and just pretend everything is going to be okay lol. I decided to switch out my horses so now I want Arthur to bond to the mare I have now. Already excited to play again but this time go for low honor) ( My boy Sean though. )

(Hey Juno! Just kind of got an idea ^^ what If the sun is getting close to rising, and Adeline sees Jack start to shift, and either Jack books it out before she can see him, or she books it since shifting is a bit of gruesome process. Just an idea though! I’ll get my next reply up soon!!)

.’ - Adeline Nicholson - ‘. She watched with an odd sense of calm, and patience as the wolf with too intelligent of eyes debated. Seeming uncertain, Adeline shifted similarly, watching as the blue-eyes wolf’s head turned in an internal.. debate, she supposes? She perks up when the wolf straightens, nudging his muzzle against her hand. That- well, it’s not like he’s Scooby-Doo or something, so.. a nudge works? Taking that as a good enough, Adeline stands up herself… and leads the wolf to a more secluded area, in between a few of the more random buildings and shops. She doesn’t really think people would react well to a… not quite fully wolf looking wolf in the middle of the street with no leash. So once there, she crouches, sliding her bag off of her shoulder, and o tot he ground. Rifling through it for her small but pretty effective first aid kit. Unzipping the white plastic, flexible container, an obvious red cross smack dab in the middle. Opening it up, she sends a hesitant glance towards the wolf, before also reaching into her bag one more time, for some medicine she kept after visiting her uncle. His husky, Breckett had had some scrapes from a tumble on a run. And she’d accidentally taken it with her, thankfully after Breckett was all healed up and dandy, just a few scars in his wake. Did she mention how adorable he is? As mellow as an husky is able to be, but polite, adorable, and young little husky. Adeline.. didn’t take it out, half cause what would she do with it.. and the off chance of ever getting a pet and maybe needing it? Well, with a glance to the wolf, slightly more illuminated with it getting late enough into the night that it’s morning for some people. She only ever woke up at 5 A.M for high school, and college, thankfully no more. Shifting in her crouch, she lifts her hand again, carfully, after uncapping the lid, and letting the wolf take a whiff of the medicinal ointment. Her other hand already grabbing the small roll of bandages, and those little things used for helping stem bleeding. She may or may not have taken an emergency medical aid elective in college. “It okay if… uh, I use this on you, Buddy? Or.. well, wolf..dog, animal.”

(Sounds good to me soot! Probably one or two more posts and I’ll have him start to shift back)
The wolf tilted his head slightly before stepping forward to take a sniff at the strange object in her hand. It smelled strong and bitter, making his nose wrinkle and sneeze. But this strange… liquid? What was it? It was supposed to help. In another odd form of intelligent behavior, the wolf blinked in agreement. I trust you. Just like before.
Something within him trusted this human with every fiber of his being. Had he met this human before? Why did she seem so… familiar…

.’ - Adeline Nicholson - ‘. Adeline’s shoulder slumped at the.. neutral reaction the the ointment, taking it, once again, as a good enough. So, she didn’t waste to much time waddling over in her still crouched position, and grabbing a few antibacterial wipes from her first aid kit, and carfully reaching forward, dabbing off too much glistening red. Red. Like the wine running through their vines, through her veins, open and exposed. Power. She makes sure to be gentle, and cautious of the wolf’s reactions as she goes about her somewhat minimal, but hopefully helpful treatment. They’re bleeding, sluggishly, so once it’s somewhat cleaned, one wipe holding blood from making more of a mess, she goes about applying the ointment, quick, and a somewhat thicker layer of the ointment. It’s not like she’s going to.. keep the wolf-dog, so she’s going to do what she can, and silently hope and pray they end up alright. So, once the ointment is applied… she grabs one of the roll of bandages. A tiny bit hesitant before wrapping them somewhat securely around the worst wounds. It takes her a couple of minutes to do, start to finish. Once it is as… well, good as she can get, it’s not like Adeline was trained as a veteran. So.. she just hopes it suffices. Patting the wolf-dog’s shoulder gently before standing up, and inching away a few steps. “Alright… ah, that should do.” She pauses, glancing to the wolf-dog’s face. “Better?” Why she’s asking, she doesn’t know, but it’s not like anyone is.. watching to judge. She supposes!

The wolf gave a sniff of approval. The smelly stuff the female human rubbed on him seemed to be helping. Granted it stung like no other and he suppressed snapping in pain in an attempt from scaring her. He even let her wrap something long, white, and soft around his wound. There was something deep within him that was amused by the way she was handling him, and it shone through in his pale blue eyes. Careful and afraid. Like he would bite her hand off at any moment. He hadn’t attack so far, he wasn’t going to do so now.
Without realizing it, he started to paw at the ground. The sky turning from black as pitch to a deep purple.

.’ - Adeline Nicholson - ‘. Adeline was extremely relieved by the wolf-dog’s calmness, and also not attacking her, a very, very big plus. She still gave him a slightly cautious, though less than before, look, catching the ice blue eyes for a moment, that odd intelligence shining through, and the smack of dejavu. Adeline was on the trail of thoughts on what to do now exactly, it’s probably a good idea to lead him back… into the forest? Right? Let the wolf-wild be a free animal, and probably alert animal… control? Or whoever it is who keeps track of wild animals in the premises. Her train of thoughts pauses though, when she notices the wolf-dog’s.. almost fidgety movements as light started to peak more into the sky, one of her brows quirking in mild concern. Adeline shifted on her feet, dipping down to out her stuff back into her bag, and sliding the zipper closed before standing once more. A little less hesitant now, “Ready to go back to being.. ah, wild and free, little- big wolf dog buddy?” She asks, bags under her eyes, legs still tired from her long shift, hands wringing around the shoulder strap of her bag on her shoulder, eyes intently on the wolf-dog’s reactions.

Without warning, the wolf ran off. He wasn’t even sure he heard the human speak, most likely leaving her just as or more so confused as when she found him. He just needed to run. His body tingled. Heart beating faster. Something within him told him to find a certain scent trail. But what? What was he looking for? And what would he do when he found it.

.’ - Adeline Nicholson- ‘. Adeline startled, flinching at the wolf-dog suddenly bolting off with little to no warning. Her blue eyes were confused for a few moments, taking a few steps further to see where they ran off too. Her lips purse, teeth catching the inside of her lip. Oh. Well.. guess they took her words very literally. Adeline was tired, but something urging her to.. see. Know. But the wolf-dog was already gone, like a breeze. So with a tinge of disappointment, she turns to leave, feet just slightly dragging. Adeline pauses, foot suspended in thee air for a moment before dropping it. There was a few drops of blood, left from the wolf-dog’s injuries. And the dread from earlier came back, crawling up her spine, gray at the edges of her vision. Adeline blinks, blue eyes in mild confusion. Ah- maybe she was just seeing things, no blood to clean up. Shaking her head with a sigh, rubbing at her tired eyes, and just sets off to go home. It’s way too late, or early, to be staying out in the middle of the night. So Adeline starts on shuffling home, just putting an alarm on her phone, and a reminder to deckhand out the library sometime tomorrow.

(Hello, can I join?)
Name: Alanna Skye
Description: A bit on the shorter side standing at an even 5 feet and 4 inches, Alanna is anything but dainty. With a curvy figure and muscles toned from a lifetime of hardship, she is much stronger than she looks. Hair the color of autumn leaves in the sunlight falls in waves down her shoulders. Her face is slightly round, giving her the appearance of someone much younger. Combined with her height, she looks about 16. Her nose is small and upturned, her lips full, and her eyes are a soft blue-gray. Looking into her eyes might give one the impression of a still pond on a cloudy day, or a stormcloud about to burst open, depending on her mood. Her skin is on the fair side, but she is not pale. Her cheeks flush easily, and she has a slight sprinkling of freckles around her shoulders and across her nose.
Age: 25
What you are: Werewolf
Creature Description: Alanna's wolf form is similar in color to her hair, her thick fur a gleaming russet color. Her paws are petite, but she is not small. Her nose has a pink stripe that turns into white fur in a thin strip leading up between her eyes. Her tail is bushy and curved, with a distinct white tip. She has white toes on her front paws, and shining sky blue eyes.
Personality: Alanna is very reserved around strangers. A life of having no one to rely on has given her slight trust issues. She never takes anybody at their word unless she knows them well. She is also very compassionate, with a lot of empathy. She will care for anyone like her own child and can be very motherly if she cares about you. Alanna is also very smart, she likes books and has a creative side to her. Her sense of humor can be sarcastic at times, but she can also let go and have fun. She isn't the easiest to anger, as she has more patience than most, but her temper is fierce when she unleashes it. Background: Alanna was born to 2 werewolves who had left their pack for reasons they never talked about. They were true mates who traveled the wilderness together until Alanna came along. They then settled in a small town and lived a relatively human life. She was sent to public school, but was also taught about survival and how to control her wolf form. Her parents were both killed when they were tracked down by their former pack while on a hunting trip. Alanna was with them but was able to escape undetected. She was only 16 at the time and has care of her sister by herself ever since.
Family: Sage Skye(Sister)
Romantic Interests: Heterosexual
Other: Rawr
Sn: bluedawn
Name: Sage Skye
Description: Sage is average in height, around 5'5, with a lighter build you might see on a runner or a swimmer. Her muscles are wiry and toned. Sage has long hair that is a light golden blonde, the color of sunlight, and she usually wears it up or braided. Her skin is a light peach color, warm toned and slightly fairer than average, with a small amount of freckles. Sage's nose is the same as her sister's, small and upturned, and her eyes are a grayish green color.
Age: 18
What you are: Werewolf
Creature Description: Sage's wolf is a light sandy blonde color. Her fur is short and sleek, and her build is light. She has long legs, small paws, and a narrow frame. She is not the strongest wolf, but she is very fast. Sage's wolf has the same markings as her sister's wolf, with a white strip between her eyes, white front toes, and a white tail tip. Her eyes are mismatched in her wolf form, with one being green and one being gray.
Personality: Sage is a cheerful girl. Her eyes are always sparkling and she walks with a bounce in her step. She's a optimist, a glass half full type person, and always tries to see the best in people. She's very open with her emotions, and can be very sensitive. She can also be very naive, but she's not one to be walked on. Sage is a very likeable person, but she has no problems standing up for herself and those she cares about.
Background: Sage was born to 2 lone werewolves years after they left their pack. She was the 2nd born, and was raised by her sister after their parents were tracked down and killed when she was 9. The 2 of them have been wandering the wilderness ever since.
Family: Alanna Skye(Sister)
Romantic Interests: Heterosexual
Other: Rawr

Though his ears were still pinned back, Javalle allowed his body to loosen up and listen. He smiled at the need for Maria to call him "mister" which he took as a respectful comment, and was touched at the fact the wolf was concerned for him when she was the one howling up a storm. Ah, don't worry about me. I've had worse nights. And it was true. The terror he experienced with Detective Anya nights earlier was still relatively fresh, even though the he made acquaintances with the were-tiger at the coffee shop. He lightly rested his chin on Maria's back as she sank to the floor, which was the best physical comfort he could offer. I get not being able to sleep when your family's far away. It's one of the loneliest experiences one could ever face.He laid there in consolable silence with Maria for a moment, hoping their words were enough to keep her at ease. The wolf shifted their head, and Javalle followed her gaze to the windowpane. The weakest sliver of light filtered beyond the trees' leaves outside and cast a faint pattern on the floor. It wasn't bright enough to cause urgency just yet, but it did stir a small amount of concern from the lynx. The fur on his shoulders rippled involuntarily, as if telling Javalle it was almost time to welcome his human half again. He hauled himself back up to his paws, and shortly after Maria did the same. Javalle pricked his ears up as he listened to the pup's concern, and frankly, he was relieved to hear that Maria shared his thoughts with wanting to change back. Oh, yes. I promised to show you where the restroom is. Come with me. The lynx swerved to his right and headed straight down a wide yet short hallway with two doors on the left and right walls. Javalle opened the door to their left (an exercise he was also getting bored of doing) and allowed the wolf inside. The bathroom was relatively roomy in spite of the numerous necessities, complete with a towel closet and a walk-in shower. There were frames above the sink faucet depicting rustic decor, and even an air diffuser that hadn't been turned on yet. Do whatever you need to do. We're in no rush. Another last-minute idea smacked him on the head, the same fleeting thought that slipped his mind before He went to sleep. Naturally the girl would need something to cover herself up if they were going to go back outside when the sun rose. He had a bin of clothes under his closest that he wore when he was younger, he was sure of it... Uhm - do you need anything to change into once you're finished shifting? I have some old clothes, but I can't guarantee they'll fit...(The fact I put in more detail describing the bathroom than the living room I'm not typically great at going in-depth about room decor and all that so I'm trying to stray away from it for the time being. Also I did not intend it on purpose but somehow these posts keep getting longer and longer.)

(Oh fun, they'll be naturally suspicious of strangers then.)
Alanna wandered through the strange forest, not completely sure of the direction in which she traveled. Her legs weary from traveling, she came up over a small hill to see a thinner patch of trees ahead. Parting the bushes as she moved forward, she came upon a small clearing littered with wildflowers. A couple large rocks sat to the side, and her eyes lit up at the sight of the obvious place to rest. This forest made her uneasy, though she wasn't sure why. The many different smells that hit her nose seemed to set her on edge. She felt as though she should recognize them, but she had never encountered such scents before. Shifting to her wolf form, she stretched out on the largest rock and flopped onto her side. Alanna let out a deep sigh and closed her eyes. Just for a few minutes... she thought. Then we'll get out of here.
Sage trailed behind her sister, already in wolf form. Her light, sandy-colored wolf flitted almost unseen through the undergrowth. When they came upon the clearing, She let out a wolfy grin at the sight of the grass and flowers. Her tongue lolled out of the side her mouth as she headed for the thickest patch. While her sister snored away on the rocks, Sage rolled over onto her back. Belly up, she proceeded to wiggle back and forth like a house dog after a bath.
(Not sure if it's day or night, so I avoided writing those details.)

(The sun is just starting to rise)
Teagan walked through the forest making sure everyone was accounted for. Whatever injuries she had were starting to heal rather quickly. Most of her pack members managed to make it back and she was about to turn back herself. She paused when she scented a unfamiliar scent. The smell didn't belong to any of the rogues but she had to be certain.
Carefully, she follows the scent until she reaches a clearing and two wolves one asleep and the other rolling in the grass. She observes them for a moment, they didn't seem dangerous nor did they look like any of the lone shifters around town. Teagan waits a few minutes before straightening up and walking towards them.

Sage rolled in the grass, enjoying herself, itching her back. She admired the morning sky through half-closed eyes, thinking about how beautifully the different colors mixed together. Suddenly she heard a rustle that sounded different to those caused by wind. Closing her mouth and rolling back over onto her stomach, she lifted her head and perked her ears. Looking around, Sage spotted a stranger approaching. Instantly alert, she rose to her feet and emerged fully from the grass. She held her head low in caution, tail straight out in a neutral position. Her nose twitched as she took in the stranger's scent, recognizing it as one that seemed to linger around this forest.
Alanna blinked open her eyes, sleepily gazing at the lightening sky. Realizing she had fallen asleep, she quickly got to her feet and took in her surroundings. The first thing her eyes landed on was her sister, and relief washed over her. Knowing her sister had a habit of wandering off, she was thankful that she was still close. But Alanna's relief quickly turned to alarm as she saw her sister's defensive posture, and her eyes widened when she saw the reason why. Quickly jumping down from the rock, she loped over to stand slightly in front of her sister. Alanna put up a more aggressive display, the fur on her back bristling and a low rumble coming from her throat. In her experience, it was better to show strength over caution. Her eyes flickered over the stranger, taking in her every move, calculating the level of threat.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" Teagan called out watching the two wolves carefully. She eyes the both of them her gaze resting on the larger one. She assumed the two of them had to be young though she couldn't tell just how old they might be.

The wolf’s movements slowed to a crawl as the sky turned from a deep purple to a dusky pink. The unmistakable scent of a pack hung in the air, but that was the furthest thing from his mind. He was deep within their territory, but he couldn’t bring himself to care. He was fading.
Vision blurred…
Limbs heavy…
Heart pounding…
A whine of pain escaped him as he felt his bones from snout to tail contort and break and shift. Vision fading…
…
…
…
…
…
His vision faded back. Jack was on his hands and knees, struggling to take in breath. He… How did he get here? Where was he? Everything was hurting, his body washed in agony. Through blurry vision he inspected himself. His clothing was torn, nearly in shreds. He had bandages wrapped around his middle and arms.
What the hell happened last night?
He tried to pick himself up off the ground, managed to stumble forward for a bit, not entirely sure where he was going, until he collapsed against a tree, all but dead to the world.
(Everyone welcome Jack back (: )

Alanna glanced at Sage, who looked back at her encouragingly. Perking her ears and lowering her tail, Sage relaxed her stance and blinked her mismatched eyes at her sister.
Understanding her sister's message, Alanna cautiously shifted back to her human form. Her chestnut hair was wild and wavy, her blue-gray eyes warily sizing up the stranger. She appeared to be older than both of them, and Alanna couldn't help but wonder if she could fight her off if it came to it.
Sage came up behind her sister, still in wolf form, and promptly sat on her sister's feet. Knowing her sister's tendencies to fight first and ask questions later, she usually found she could help avoid bloodshed by relaxing the atmosphere.
Slightly irritated at Sage's behavior, Alanna chose to ignore the hindrance and focus on the other woman. "We are travelers, and I really don't have any idea where we are." She admitted. "My name is Alanna, this is my sister, Sage." She shoved her sister with her foot. "Who are you? Do you know this place?" Although Alanna could tell that this woman resided in this territory, she asked anyway in hopes of an explanation.
