Perking up, Javalle noticed that the conversation that originally started out apprehensive and tense had mellowed out somewhat. He was caught off-guard by the interrogated stranger's sudden spark of intensity, but now things have seemed to calm a bit. Then he heard a phrase that piqued his curiosity even further.
A rouge shifter?
He'd definitely seen the pack houses the werewolves resided in during his walks in the forest, but the possibility of a large wolf running amuck giving injuries to turn unsuspecting people made Javalle's blood run cold. Perhaps he should stay indoors this moon.
Well, there wasn't much use for speculation anymore. Besides, his break would be up soon. Clearing out his throat, he awkwardly shuffled his way towards the trio, hoping he didn't rouse the troubled atmosphere back up again. "Excuse me, I'm a bookkeeper for the library and I was wondering if you three needed help finding anything? I saw that you dashed off before I could introduce myself. I don't mean any trouble. " He forced that last part out in hopes that no negative suspicions would flare up. Maybe they detected he was a shifted as well?

Bruno grinned when they arrived at their destination. He had secretly hoped they would be going to Bernie's diner. In his opinion, the diner had the best food in town. Bruno looks at his dad when he mentioned that he could get dessert from here too. For a moment, he considered questioning him but decided against it. "Thanks dad!" He said before exiting out of the car. Bruno already had an idea of what he was going to get.
"Come on slowpoke!" He teased as he waited for his dad to get out.

(This is my nice little human character!) Name: Adeline Nicholson
Description: Adeline is a pale, and petite woman. She stands at around 5'3, and his medium length, straight, light blonde hair, and gray eyes. She's covered in a splash of reddish freckles all over most of her body, but her face is mostly devoid besides a few sprinkled above her brow, and on her nose. Her face has a rather pointed jaw, but a more round, small nose. More often than not, you'll find Adeline dressed in a sweater, leggings, tennis-shoes, and hair thrown into a ponytail.
Age: 21
What you are: Adeline is fully human, no animal blood found! (I have possible ideas of her maybe getting into some magicy stuff, dunno for sure though! Maybe even getting bitten later? Still figuring it out ^^')
Personality: Adeline is a very shy, and timid woman. She generally sticks by herself, mostly cause she's just shy, but she's also a very curious, and wondering gal. She often just calls family she's close with, and hangs with them, but she does her best to try and make some friends in the town she's more recently moved to. She has a few hobbies, and most include knitting, sewing, and also her actual job, which is at the hospital in the physical rehabilitation center. Most of her life, she's always been shy, but eager to help, even if she cringes when talking to too many people at once. Her curiosity, and general want to help, led to her job as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or PTA. Adeline has a love for fashion as well, but keeps her sewing to a minimum for budget and such. While shy, she's also always eager to talk about certain subjects, and is more of the 'has a lot to say but says two words' type. And even with her love of fashion, you'll not often see her dressed like the stuff she's really interested. She loves the styles she saw everyone dress in when she lived elsewhere, but she ended up just opting for the comfy clothes.
Background: Adeline was originally from Boston, but moved to New York state at an early age. That's where the love of fashion stemmed, and the dislike of big crowds. After moving away to live in Oregon after finishing college early, and going through a PTA program. She official got a job years ago to save up, and bought a small, but comfy apartment here in Griffindale.
Family: Open for anyone!
Romantic interests: She's heterosexual, and currently has no interests.
Other: She's a very hyper focused person, ask her to search something up in depth, and she'll seem like she's studied it for years! Comes with the straight A college student. Besides English, don't talk about English. And she's super great at sewing and such, and actual almost perused that in college, before just opting for a general degree. Want something specific made? She can probably do it!
SN: I am soot(:

And of course! She's definitely very shy, but willing to talk! Even if she's like a little deer in headlights, lolo)

++ Charlemagne Cross-- Being in public automatically brings his walls up, motions more smooth and robotic as he goes about exiting the car and ensuring the doors are locked. The hospital's assault on his senses is only marginally better in comparison, as he has grown accustomed to the ever-shifting sterile and sour smells. But Charlemagne has been a shifter for years now, he has to remember that this inherent distaste and notion of being overwhelmed is all in his head, he need only focus on what's important. His attention narrows, and he approaches Bruno slowly...to poke him in the forehead. A literal slowpoke. Ha.
"There's no rush, this isn't the kind of food you have to hunt." He teases lightly, holding the door open for his son before entering himself. His pale gaze scans the surprisingly crowded establishment as he places a hand on Bruno's shoulder to prevent him from haring off toward the nearest empty seat.
Charlemagne's first priority is securing the ideal seating arrangement. Preferably somewhere in a corner or away from the windows, a spot that wouldn't typically contain large groups...He spots one in the back of the diner but is disappointed to find it closer to a table that has already been occupied. Sifting through the scents reveals that they belong to a tiger and a wolf. Both are vaguely familiar, as one closely resembles a certain meddlesome detective's and the other...a Levington, perhaps. Charlemagne never forgets a scent but by nature of that fact, he's forced to compartmentalize them into simple categories that are only expanded upon necessity.
He withholds a sigh before leading Bruno over, engaging him to avoid having to acknowledge them as courtesy would suggest.
"I hope you're planning to order something that includes all of the major food groups."
<><><>
++ Zhenya Metaxas -- Zhenya arches a brow, intrigued at this dissolution from the nebulous state where they'd started. He doesn't mind being surprised every once in a while, though~ "Well Turnip- er, Jack, admitting there's a problem is the first step toward solving it~"
They've firmly broken away from the line of questioning that would facilitate actual police work, but if he builds a rapport here and now he can always come back to it later. The detective drops his notepad into his lap and recrosses his legs, an encouraging smile curving his lips. "Let's take this step by step, shall we? Assume you're crazy first and work your way down to reality. We both know where we're going to end up but in this case, the journey is more important. So-"
He pauses, the nagging feeling that had been raising his hackles for the better part of twenty minutes finally revealing itself. Announcing, really, but Zhenya had long been aware. There had been a familiar feline scent occupying the space behind a nearby bookshelf for too long to be happenstance. Zhenya may have had to strain to hear footsteps, but he could feel the accusatory gaze and sense the air of wary curiosity. It was bothersome, but ultimately rather harmless. Zhenya has already made contact with or observed as many shifters within Griffindale as possible in order to classify them in accordance to their potential threat level and the bookkeeper doesn't rank particularly high on the list. It may be his 'bigger big cat' ego talking, but he sees the werelynx as more of an oddity than anything.
He's actually a rather interesting person that Zhenya wouldn't mind hearing more from- but not at this very moment. There's an anxious still-kind-of-human sitting before him, so he can't actually vocalize a snarl, but he bares his teeth in a would-be friendly smile as the other shifter approaches. His previously loose posture stiffens, and his mismatched eyes narrow in on dusky hazel. The weretiger's sharper scent and bearing already broadcast his desire to be left alone, but for Jack's benefit; "We're fine, thank you. And I'm sure you've rearranged every book on that conveniently placed shelf there, so you're free to move on now~"
<><><>
++ Zinoviy Metaxas -- Zinoviy listens attentitively to Nola's words, his head taking on an inquisitive cant. He doesn't truly need to 'look' down at her but he finds himself angling his face anyway. Force of habit as he attempts to make sense of more than what she's saying. He can hear a lot of action in her hands; cracking knuckles, flexing fingers, playing with some part of her uniform. Some thought or passing notion makes her straighten even more, arrange her hands and body in a way that somehow takes up even less space. But it's not in the apologetic fashion that he has learned to. It's more...poised. Nola's tone doesn't exactly change yet he detects a difference in the last syllables of her question. The smile has faded.
"If...if you wouldn't mind."
He brings a hand up to play with his hair, disguising the act by resting a scarred cheek in his palm. Zinoviy doesn't think he's done anything to warrant a change...he's probably been sitting supernaturally still, honestly...but perhaps it was in shifting the direction of the conversation. They'd started off more intimate, for lack of a better word, speaking as friends, before he'd created distance with a banal attempt at small talk. He'd succeeded, or she's just both polite and observant enough to go along with it, and now the conversation can continue but he's worried that he may have walked them backwards, somehow.
Well...there isn't much he can do about it now, but pray their food comes quicker.

[ Initially Anya would have welcomed Javalle into the conversation and tried to play off him to spook Jack, but given that things have turned to Jack opening up about himself, he's pissed at an interruption that could cause Jack to change his mind. Also, he's territorial with people and attention too. ^^" If you're paying attention to him, it's his! You can't stop 'til he says so! This trait is based on my cat, who would place his head between me and my phone/computer screen and just stare into my eyes but wouldn't give me the time of day otherwise. He'd also hit people that I'm paying attention to if I'm supposed to be petting him and praising him for how fluffy he is. Anya wouldn't go that far but he isn't above being petty lol ]
[ Also, please don't mind Teo. He overthinks everything haha ]

Jack’s hearing was indeed stronger now, and yet he still jumped in his seat a tad bit, startled by the approaching man. At least the conversation, even for a brief moment, was off him. His improved sense of smell decided now was a good time to switch on again. He tried to not have a visible reaction, but he couldn’t help but to subtly cover his nostrils with his hand. To anyone passing by, he was just super focused on the conversation, not trying to block the overwhelming scent of feline that he was now noticing. He wasn’t sure if the officer or the clerk had noticed his reaction yet, and he may have known the man for only a few minutes, but he could just imagine the absolute smug face on the officer. Could almost hear the “I told you so, you’re one of us.”
Or he was just becoming paranoid and is overthinking. One of the two.
(Don’t think of this post as discouragement toward getting Jack to open up Hush, my son is just an idiot and is a mess haha)

.' - Nola Levington - '.
Nola scent tinges towards pleased. Nola's always pleased when someone accepts any sort of offer, and it's not often she makes an offer with the hope it would be not accepted. She takes idle note of the other shifters posture, her own fingers tapping in a familiar rhythm. Swan Lake. So, the werewolf's posture stays prim, chin still tilted up in a fashion that some might see as egotistical, but is merely proper to Nola. She takes a few moments to debate what to say, before settling on a general, and smoothly said idea. "It depends on what you like. If you enjoy more interactive things.. the mall, not too far from here, has plenty of things inside to do. Arcades, stores for more hobby related things, plus clothes of course." Nola starts, tone verging towards an almost precise way, but more of a soft look crosses her face. "There's also kiddie rides, if your so inclined." She adds, voice a tad amused, "Ah- and there's a stable not to far away. It's near the edges of town, they mostly board horses, but they offer lessons." She adds as she shifts the topic of 'things to do'. "If you like watching shows.. the motel does plenty for the guests, and The Ivory Table does some on occasion as well. Ah- it's a restaurant more near the center of town, not too far from the mall." She pauses, still picking a tad at the end of her jacket's sleeves. "Oh- and the school as well, I dance there, and at the motel on occasion." She adds idly, head tilting in thought before she straightens it again. "If you enjoy swimming.. the motel has a pool, and the Library is good- well." Nola stops at that, trying to keep a cringe off of her face. "Ah, there's good books at the library, sometimes.. I do readings there, for children, or book clubs. It's done out loud, if you'd ever be interested in going." Nola adds, a tad hesitant, but stays steadfast in tone. She's said it, no going back from that. It's moments later when her attention is dragged a tad by the sharp scent of sterile cleaning agents, and medicine. She glances over to the table just in front of her, and subsequently behind Zinoviy. A.. father and son, she assumes by their scents, and shifters. It's easy to figure out the fathers occupation.. the son, like anyone his age, simply smells normal. Comfortable, if excited for food, and like their den. Everyone has a specific scent.. and coyotes always have a little hint of something she can't particularly place. Almost.. like cinnamon- but mixed with nutmeg?
(First off, love Anya as always xD Nola's got no idea why she likes this were-tiger, but she'll occasionally give in and 'pet' the fluffy fur, per say. And Teo's all fine to overthink as much as he'd like, haha. Unless it's a downward spiral of bad stuff, cause then Nola will whip out her motherly card.)

It was only when he interfered did Javalle notice how loosened up the questioning got. The mold already broke, and the two seemed to be at decently good odds with each other (he even suppressed an amused snort as he called his questioner "Turnip") but once all sights were set on him, he tensed up, preparing not to be welcomed to this interesting conversation. Instinctively, he would've shrunk back at the tiger officer's threatening aura and stronger scent, but Javalle held his ground. Their narrowed eyes met Zhenya's territorial gaze for a good second, then ultimately dipped his head.
"Very well, then. I'll leave you to it. Just come back to me when you're ready to check out your books."
And with that, Javalle stalked off. He was still completely baffled as to why a police officer would be interrogating in the library (and part of him still wanted to question further about the fact), but they pushed the thoughts away. The pair would meet him again soon, so it was not his place to fuel conflict further. He could make acquaintances then. Returning to his counter, Javalle flipped the break sign over and got ready to resume regular work. Glancing at the small analog alarm clock, he calculated the amount of time until he was off his shift.
One hour. One hour is all I need, and then I'll be home.
(If I came on right as Jack snapped at Zhenya, this whole interaction would've been a different story, but alas, I simply got back into things too late! Javalle means what he says about not causing trouble, and if he sensed the conversation was going south he would've stepped in and been a lot more stubborn. Pacifist Javalle is what you're getting today whether you like it or not lol)

++ Zhenya Metaxas-- Like the sun emerging from behind dark clouds, Zhenya's entire countenance brightens once again. He allows himself to sink back into the plush chair, smiling in a pleased manner as he idly pats down the alabaster hair that had fluffed up with his earlier ire. The bookkepper had held his gaze, but more to show that he wasn't cowed than to issue a challenge. Zhenya can accept that~ Although he wouldn't have been completely averse to a confrontation, the tiger is content with how reason had ruled that particular interaction. He is...perhaps more keyed up than he should be in public but it's nothing a quick shift couldn't remedy~
"Will do~" He bids the other shifter farewell with a lazy salute before returning his attention to his current person of interest. Turnip is pressing a hand to his nose with a slightly pinched expression and Zhenya blinks at him with amusement before realizing that he's probably reacting to the increase in 'tiger' that had begun to suffuse the sitting area. No doubt any other shifters that happened to be nearby could also tell that he was nonverbally marking his territory. It would likely seem more offensive to others of the 'panthera' genus, however. Even Teo gets pissy when Zhenya broadcasts that something is 'his'. Smiling at the thought, Zhenya holds out placating hands with an apologetic lilt to his tone. "Sorry about that, though it's a good thing that you could detect it! Might save your life one day~" He means this in jest. Mostly.
Tucking his glittery pen behind his ear, he then flips through his notepad to quickly go over what little ground they'd covered. Most of it is comprised of the turnips he'd doodled to mirror his conversation with the new werewolf. Eh, good enough.
"Circling back to what you said earlier-" He accompanies this by circling a gloved finger in the air next to his head, "-you stated that 'if this is reality, it's the worst possible outcome', yes?" Zhenya's tone remains light, though the ever-present smile wans. "If you believe that, you aren't thinking big enough. It could definitely be worse. Right now, you may not trust them but you do have support. That's more than many could say. Doesn't mean you have to stay though, just use 'em until you can make it on your own if that's what you want."
His somber mood fades and he sits forward with a grin, scribbling something on a fresh page and tearing it out to place on the table between them; a line of numbers in glittering chartreuse accompanied by tiny doodles of a magnifying glass and the deerstalker hat commonly associated with detectives. "Here's my number, shoot me a call or text if you remember anything else or feel that you might be in danger of another attack. I'll personally take on your case, 'kay?"
Zhenya raps his knuckles on the table before standing up, aborting the motion to turn around so that he can dig around in the pocket of his leather jacket for something. He pulls out lockpicks, liquid eyeliner, four shotgun shells, and a small baggy of cat treats before he finds what he's looking for. "Ah, here we go!" He presents a crumpled scrap of paper with the air of a gameshow host bestowing a massive check.
"Here's a coupon for free coffee at Bernie's Diner~"
<><><>
++ Zinoviy Metaxas -- Zinoviy perks up at the change in Nola's scent, unsure of its origin but pleased himself that her mood has seemingly improved. Perhaps she's proud of her town and likes speaking about it? His lips quirk upward when he catches the beginning of Swan Lake- somewhat dampened by the medium and less evocative without the ability to overlay notes, but still recognizable- being tapped out on the table. Oh, that's pleasing too. Learning to play all of Tchaikovsky's works had once been a goal of his...
He laces his fingers together within his sleeves, resisting the urge to accompany the rhythm himself. "The mall...Anya is fond of the arcades, but I'm sure that comes as no surprise." He's addicted to the claw machine but has yet to win the much coveted Espeon plushie.
Zinoviy finds himself chuffing out a soft laugh when she suggests the 'kiddie rides'. He isn't sure if that was meant to poke fun at their age difference, but he looks forward to mentioning them to Anya and suggesting they'd be perfectly suited to his height.
"Oh?" He tilts his head, faded chartreuse eyes forming crescents with his unconscious smile. "I didn't know there were horses here..." For all their traveling, they'd never had the opportunity to see horses in real life...that actually sounds like an enjoyable experience. Zinoviy would love to learn to ride. Zhenya teases him about being a 'horse girl' but dutifully read aloud their pilfered copies of 'Black Beauty' and 'Seabiscuit' about a hundred times each when he first lost his sight.
Active listening doesn't always include physical responses when it comes to him, but Zinoviy nods along when Nola adds the motel and The Ivory Table to her list. They are his most frequent employers after all, as he is often asked to provide music to accompany their shows. That she dances, and has done so for them is not a known fact, however. He has noticed her there a few times but never knew why she may have been present, and honestly never thought to question it. Oh, it's no wonder that she's familiar with Swan Lake then, and the graceful way she holds herself...perhaps he should brush up on his Tchaikovsky?
And a pool as well? He hums at the thought, though a bit embarassed that months have passed with features of Griffindale still remaining unknown to him. Zinoviy didn't tend to venture out beyond work and running the occasional simple errand for Zhenya...recent events don't bode well for any further excursions, but he may be able to persuade his overprotective little brother to loosen up with the promise of a refreshing swim. The nearest body of water was quite some distance away and when shifted, Zinoviy still felt cagey around others of his kind.
Nola's smooth voice falters and draws his attention, though he doesn't find her apparent faux pas to be much of a problem. It's rather common given that he hides the scarred upper half of his face from view, and heightened senses allow him to fool most for the first few meetings. Zinoviy respects that Nola doesn't backpedal or immediately apologize. He can practically hear her wince but she continues in a lighter tone and he's privately amused that she manages to 'save' it so adroitly.
"That sounds...very nice. I'd like that." His minute smile is more genuine here, and he opens his mouth to say more but is saved once again by a server arriving with their food.

[ Haha that's fine, Juno! He has every right to be lol Roleplaying is so fun~ You don't always know how things are gonna turn out and this is a prime example! There were at least four different ways for this interaction to go but it ended with Anya feeling protective of Jack. He's still gonna call him 'Turnip' though... until he thinks of another nicknameWhile he loves being a shifter, Anya believes that humans have the right to choose when it comes to being one and is offended on Jack's behalf. So I might take up your offer on reintroducing the rogue who turned him because Anya's like "me, personally, I wouldn't take that level of disrespect" soot aaa I'm relieved you like him! He's...quite a character And he'd be very smug about it but also appreciative haha That's sweet of her! I totally get those vibes from their interactions~ lazzylake That's completely understandable! Jack was about to make a comment that the officer has no idea about the turmoil he’s going through. How at the next full moon there’s an ever increasing chance of him becoming an unstoppable killing machine when three days before, he had been a normal young man. That now he had eyes on him everywhere just in case. That there was still a chance, how ever small it may be, he could keep his humanity. It was the only thing keeping him sane right now. But any and all fight he had left of him had run out, and it probably showed on his face and deflated posture. Too tired and overwhelmed, it was now easier to believe he was just out of the hospital, And his leg was aching again, but in a different way it had had before. At this point he didn’t care.
He took the card from the officer. Even though it was yet another pair of eyes, it was still somewhat comforting that these complete strangers were willing to help. Jack then watched the shorter man dig through his pocket and was able to catch a glimpse of what the contents were. A few lock picks (strange for an office to carry, be he digress), shotgun shells, what looked like eyeliner, and… wait. Was that?
Did the man carry around cat treats? Either he had a cat at home or… Or god, there are other types of were-creatures, were there? That explains the smell of feline. And possibly the eyeliner…
The officer then offered him a free coffee coupon, to which he happily accepted.
”I’m sorry I couldn’t be much help, but if I remember something or see something, I promise I’ll give you a call,” Jack vowed with sincerity and he too stood up, preparing to grab those books he was after and leave. Perhaps to get a coffee, now that he had that coupon. God knows he needs one right now.
(Jack doesn’t know that Anya is sympathetic, so don’t mind him again. Anya’s weird personality is my favorite side character. Homeboy carries around cat treats, I can’t-)
(Also had to shifted responses here, but have, this is all basically improv, right? It’s fun!)

( Hushabye Thanks so much! Javalle's not all too territorial so it came as a shock to him that Zhenya was ready defend over the questioning space, even though Anya is technically the bigger cat. His internal thoughts during a more tense confrontation would've been something along the lines of, "No, this is my library who gave you the right to disturb the peace and stink up the place. I'm supposed to be the one working here, not you!" Honestly seeing new replies from this thread is the highlight of my night, even if they aren't directed to my character! It's really refreshing just to write interactions about a topic I love without having to worry about rubics or a grading process like in school. Especially when my motivation has seemingly reached an all time low after fruitless scholarship applications. Happy to have stumbled across this rp and very, VERY eager to see what plays out on the full moon!)

.' - Nola Levington - '.
Nola brings a hand up to nudge at the slightly messy, over worked, but sturdy bun on the back of her head, bumping against it slightly. Nola's happy to report, Zinoviy's scent is more.. genuine, and a tad more cheery. Not joyful like a buzzing bee in a perfect flower, but better, less like a brittle branch ready to snap. It was moments after her mention of the library, and his subsequent response, that made her shoulders a tad less tense, and another moment later, when the same waitress came right by their table, converse making a barely audible 'squeak' on the ground she's sure only shifters could hear. Looking up, the waitress is wearing an even brighter smile, the scent of.. hm. She'd rather not think about that too much, and just take the apple pie set in front of her, and her usual black coffee with a club sandwich. "Here you folks go!-" She says, setting the fruit special down in front of Zinoviy. She looks back and fourth for a moment, "Is there anything else I can do for you two?" She asks, to which Nola gives a polite, small smile, and a shake of her head.
Nola figures Zinoviy ordered with precision, and if he does want something else, well, she'll get the waitresses attention. "We're fine, thank you." The waitress replies with an almost too giddy thumbs up, "Alright, perfect! I hope you both enjoy your food." She says, and turns right around, to head back to where she came from.
Nola quirks an idle brow at the young woman before looking back over to Zinoviy, and the sugar packets that came with the little plate they put her coffee mug on. Taking one of the seven sugar packets (the perfect amount), she rips it open neatly, and proceeds to pour it into the dark, amber liquid in her mug. Speaking of mug, they even got the pretty one with all the pastel flowers.. Nola takes in the delightful smell of the freshly brewed coffee, and looks up to Zinoviy, a question in mind. "Ah- before I forget to ask. You and Zhenya.. neither of you spend the.. full moon with the pack, right?" She asks, tone a tad quieter, but not impolite, just wondering. Nola likes to keep track of everyone, especially shifters, and their subsequent whereabouts during the full moon. She kept on forgetting to ask Zehnya, and she figures she'd simply as now rather than forget again later. Plus, she's a tad curious how tigers spend their full moons. She's planning on maybe.. finding a secluded corner of the woods, going for a little run, maybe a hunt, than sleep the night away.
Something Nola has never been the biggest fan of, with her shifter status, is the forced affects of the full moon. She does her best, on nights where she might have to work, or get a call for something on the full moon. But it's particularly hard to resist the urges, even for someone as well trained in the art if resistance of instincts as her. As open armed as Nola is with them, because she's not just a shifter, she's a werewolf. The wolf, and her, have no line between them, but she also knows there's a difference in the instincts, and her more.. sound mind. The full moon has never been technically difficult, but she's never been.. fond of the idea of verging more on the 'feral' side. She's nearly always sound of mind during full moons, unless she's been dragged through the metaphorical mud, but even the chance of something happening she doesn't have control over on occasion.. does scare her some. Be that it is probably something she got drilled into her head at a young age, for good reasons. Losing control is not ideal, in any way, for anyone. That's part of why her family is more secluded during full moons, and from the Primal Bloods in general. They value the idea of control, and peace with their inner selves, but they also know the risks that come with it.. too well. Past tragedies affect the future, and teaches them.
Also, she's always so dirty after a night out shifted, and she always feels so muddled with all of that dirt.. and bacteria covering her.
(Yess! She's gonna be a total friend, and accidental care taker, don't mind her, lol. And Nola's family very very much so values stark control over your 'full self' as they call it. She's a werewolf, she's happy with that, but control, and not hurting anyone comes with the territory.
And the random thought of Zinoviy and Nola bonding over classical music xD)

.' ~- Adeline Nicholson -~ '.
Adeline shrugged her jacket off, and fumbling with the bag that got stuck between the action. The woman gave a slightly cringing look, righting the jacket, taking the bag off, then taking her jacket off to tie around her waist. It's been getting warmer, which.. well, she sorta forgot about that. She woke up early enough there was a bit of wind outside, and a darker morning. Adeline's head said 'cold', so she took a jacket.. which was not a great idea.
It did block her skin from the sun though.. so not totally useless?
Putting her satchel back over her shoulder, her pale hands fumbling with the zippers some, and slipping inside of the unzipped bag. She rifles through the make-up, random candy wrappers, inkless pens, and finally finds her phone. Adeline takes it out with a slight triumphant look.
Her tennis-shoes make quiet noise against the sidewalk as she goes, the destination of the diner in mind. She's been there.. two- wh- no, no, four times. Four times? Four times. Shaking her head a tad, and thankful for her hair being up in a messy bun, her feet take her in the path she's walked plenty of times. Being a 'city slicker', she's yet to actually get her own car, so, walking it is. It's healthy anyway.. but she's still saving money for a car. One of those half decent ones you can buy that are a couple years old. She doesn't need anything fancy, gas efficient yes, fancy and new? No. Adeline taps away on her phone, double checking her schedule for the next few days, and scrolling some through the new fabrics that came in from her favorite store. The online selection isn't as good as the in person, but there's more sales.. gray eyes glance up, taking stock of where she is. She's.. near the library. So, no.. take a left? Cross the street?- no no, that's further up ahead, the library is just down this way a few more cross walks... then the left.

(She is! I'm still getting into the swing of how she'd think, but she's a tad scatter brained on occasion, haha.)

[ That's fine! Very few people know that Anya feels empathy because he likes to pretend otherwise~ pfft! I thinks it's funnier that Jack seems to think they're for him! In a way, he's not wrong... And the fact that he thinks it makes sense that Anya carries eyeliner because he's a feline shifter- that made me laugh! again, he is correct ] [ lazzylake Of course! ^^ I look forward to learning more about Javalle~ And his response would be right on point! Teo's in the back like "get 'em!"I'm glad that you're having fun! <3 I felt the same way when I first found roleplay- I wanted to write but so far my experiences had always been graded so the enjoyment got taken out of it. It's great that you have a creative outlet~ ✨️ Wishing you the best and sending positive energy your way for success in those scholarships!✨️ ] [ Aww love that for her <3 Though the twins intend to give as good as they get! That's interesting! I'm curious about her family now too haha If they meet, it'd be a rare opportunity to see Anya actually become awkward~ That'd be cute!! ]
