teliriusAlumina smiled , she was glad to see enthusiasm so early in the morning. "Well-I am not allowed to disclose full details, but i was hoping to borrow your kindly knight. But seeing as you two are both here, it will provide more ground to conver. As you may not have heard, effective as of yesterday the mines have been put off limits to civilian activities. Miners have been sent home, and we are sending knights to assure that no unwelcome activity steps foot." She paused for a moment , as something had slipped her tounge. "R-Right, as you make your what there keep an eye out for any demons. Any demons are to be pushed off the premises or killed. The same goes for the mines, push all unwelcome personal , and question as seen fit." He voice softened a bit, "Do check within the mines if possible , they have many tunnels, so someone may be hiding in. A-Also in your best interest, avoid touching anything. If you begin to feel dizzy, ill, fever, or any sort of illness do leave at once. This also includes nightmares, and illusions, anything that may haunt you mentally." She added. brokenGlen snorted a bit, "we can be annoying, but Coire doesn't worry me on the contents of fighting. It's more along the lines of how far his curiosity will drag us." He shrugged at the thought then turned away. "Oh my curiosity? Should we be worried about your stubbornness?" Coire challenged. "Something says no amenity just have to prove otherwise." Glen ignored the comment turning over to Patrick, "carefully take that over to the table in the next room." Still not meeting Coires gaze , he smiled. "Fetch the utensils , ooh lovely ." Coire raised a brow, "Humor... me more.." His voice held sarcasm as he approached the shelves. "And what can I do?"+Lyle peeped in. "Bring the juice to the table?" Glenn's voice held uncertainty. "Alright!" Lyle nodded.

AuranskyPatrick only nodded, he could argue about that. From the short amount of time he had been around a lire, he noticed how curious he has been. But without him, they would have never made it to the mines and the prince could be dead. So maybe curiousity was a good thing. The teenager nodded, turning back around and grabbing the spoon he had set down, placing it in the hot pot before picking that up by the handles. Once he had done that, he navigated through the kitchen, staying clear of any of the others as to not have a collision, as he exited. He set the pot in the middle of the table before stepping away, looking up at the other three.

brokenLyle brought over the pitch of juice, then placed it next to them stew. He turned his attention to see Coire walking in with plates and cups. "Anything else, um-" Lyle blinked, I don't think we have had an introduction...Coire set down the cups and plates, "ah-" he turned his attention towards Lyle. "I'm Coire, that's Patrick. And the one in the kitchen is Glen." "O-oh thank you!" Lyle dipped his head in appreciation. Glen walked in with spoons, knives, and forks. "Help yourselves boys. Simply down, munch and let's get going." "Right!" Lyle nodded then took a seat. "Your words, not mine." Coire teased as he seated himself. Glen waved then rushed back into the kitchen, a few moments later he walked out with a tray of fresh baked biscuits. "Do help yourselves." He placed it down then stretched a bit become seating himself.

AuranskyPatrick grabbed a bowl for himself, filling it up with the stew before filling his cup up with some juice. He sat there quietly for a moment, looking around at the others. "So Glen and Lyle, your highness, do the two of you know each other?" He asked before he began to eat.

Telirius glanced at his half-brother as she spoke, "I suppose we could help out." He said resting his hand on his sword hilt, shifting his weight, "How many soldiers are at the mine right now defending it? We may be good swordsmen but two men can't hold the mine if bandits decide to attack in force. And Aelonal, go see that our horses are ready."
Aelonal brought his fist to his heart and bowed to his half-brother as he went to walk to the stables to see that the horses where ready.

brokenLyle served himself, while keeping a calm expression. He felt odd, but at the same time he couldn't help but feel like his presence was crushing. It was when he tasted the strengths his face lit up like anchors when excited. "H-Hmmm?" He turned his head towards Patrick's question. Taking a sip of juice he shook his head. "I'm afraid we haven't met, formally. The knights well there are so many, and my parents keep a select group to aid us usually. I meet different knights from time to time but it's rarely anyone other then the knights of the king." Glen nodded, "I've seen him a few times, but the queen keeps us so busy that we don't hang around the castle for long. In fact we have been so busy that we have been short e handed." He took a bite on a biscuit. "But don't go around telling people that. Otherwise we be in trouble." teliriusAlumina frowned briefly, "for now it will be only you two. Just to go check it out, should whatever is there overwhelm you simply return for reinforcements. The other knights should be arriving shortly. " she explained. "Yesterday occurred two incidents, we had a group of bandits attack a caravan. After that we had a demon single handily wound a civil unit. We also received word late at night of a hunter causing havoc on a different end of the woods, so we sent a group out there as well. We aswell split off a relief team to find survivors in our neighboring kingdom. " she shrugged. "We are truly short handed, and many have been sent home today Forrest after a week of none stop occurrences.."

Telirius would nod, "I brought some of my men at arms with me as an honor guard. I can use them to help secure and sweep the mine. I best be on my way then." He said smiling as he made a bow as he went to walk to the stables to find Aelonal.
Aelonal was already on his horse as he held Telirius' blackstallion. He watched as his brother climbed up onto his horse, "Shall we be on our way then?" He asked his brother, Telirius gave him a nod as he reigned his horse out towards the gates.

AuranskyPatrick shook his head as he looked at the two. "Glen, don't worry I don't think I'm in town enough anyway if I was going to tell people. Plus, it's none of their business," he muttered, now stirring the food around with the spoon as he spoke. "Being a knight sounds like an exhausting job..." Then he looked at the prince again. "Your Highness, it sounds like living in the castle is tough, especially since you are part of the royal family. So many people look up to you, so they not?"

@telirus Alumina smiled in appreciation. "Oh you are too kind. I'm certain the king appreciates these kind efforts." She stepped back to see the man dismiss himself. With a firm nod she watched him go. May the light guide your way- broken Glen burst out laughing. "None of their business? My-yiu certainly know how to put it." He took another spoonful of stew, "I like your company, whenever you want, stop by and if I'm here I'll make you something good." He offered. Coire briefly looked away, oh dear...My brother found a friend..."But yes, it can be exhausting job. As of late it is becoming a deadly job. Working to extreme conditions without little to no rest." Glen shook his head. "It brings concern to all of us. Some don't care of course, because they see it as an opportunity to rise." Lyle listened with thoughts forming. are we really that short handed? A-Are knights working under such hard conditions..I should ask mother when I see her... he turned his attention over to Patrick."tough, or caged in.." He sighed. "Depending at how you look at it, I'm a prisoner of my own home. To stay within the wall's for protection, all while making decisions for people whom a barley know. These actions sound idealistic but -I don't know that." He shrugged. "My father used to go out and meet with people, but as of late he too like mother have blocked themselves in. It concerns me a bit-"

Auransky"Oh, didn't realize you were that short staffed..." Patrick muttered, then grinned a little. "But yeah I'll remember the invite, if you won't need to do any of that for me. If you like my company, I'll just come and visit, I dot need whatever you make." He then looked over at the prince. "Ah well who knows. Before I met you, I had a different opinion about the royal family- well I still probably do- but you're a lot nicer than I would think." He shrugged, sipping his juice. "But I think you should be allowed out of the castle sometime. I'm sure it's not healthy being locked up all the time..."

broken"Yes, to think such a massive army would be short handed." Glen sighed. He rested his head against his palm, "Do feel free to make yourself at home." He agreed. "But don't hesitate on the meal end, I enjoy making grub when I am home to relax." Lyle lightly laughed, "Well...It's perfectly understandable. Opinions are to make on our own, therfore there is no issues to any end." He nodded. "B-But I'm glad I had the chance to meet you all, and I truly hope in the future that I will be able to leave more often." He stated with a calmly smile. "But if mother says no, then I guess I will find myself wtihin the walls for a while before I sneak out." He chuckled lightly.

Telirius arrived at the mine with Aelonal and his honor guard. He looked at the mine entrance and then to the surrounding land. "Setup a guard, I want four on the entrance and the rest patrolling the road and keeping an eye on the forest." He said as he dismounted his horse as one of the men took it. He sighed as watched his men follow his orders, keeping an eye on everything.

Auransky"As I've said, I will keep the offer in mind," said Patrick with a smile in his direction. "But of course, I would need to know when you're off so I don't show up here when no one is home." Then, he listened to the prince nodding some. "Oh...can't you just talk to your mother about you wanting a little more freedom? And if worse comes to worse, can't you get knights or something to accompany you into town whenever you leave the castle?" The boy shrugged, shaking his head. "Perhaps that's easier said than done, huh?"

broken Glen nodded, "Right, of course." He agreed. He took another biscuit then gazed out; "Well we need to quickly wrap this up if we want to head out to the mines. They might have other's patrolling the place first." He tilted his head at the thought. Lyle leaned forward a bit, "W-Well if something is going off our way, then I'll step in. My guess-is that who ever is there was told by a middle man. Therefore they will not know who gave the order, if orders have changed within the first order to the next one." "A-Ah so?" Glen tilted his head, seeing Lyle nod he nodded as well. "T-Then i'll go wear a civil uniform. It'll look more credible on terms." He stood up, "Please excuse me-" With that he turned, making his way out of the room. Lyle turned his attention back to Patrick. "W-Well I could talk to her, but knowing her she will give me some kind of political explantion. An important reason for being along the lines type of thing." He sighed. "B-But... I mean I could get knights to come with me, but again mother's are difficult to convince." "W-Well Glen's right, we should get moving. The mines are underground, and while dark; it's not as nearly as dark during the day." Coire glimpsed out.

AuranskyPatrick tilted his head to one side a little, listening. "Ah, I suppose you are right your highness," he agreed with a chuckle, taking another sip of his juice. "You'll just have to deal with that later, then." The teenager dipped his head, scooting the chair away from the table as he stood up slowly, looking at them. "R-right, well I can take the dirty dishes away, unless we are going to worry about the cleans for later," he offered, already gathering his dishes.

"A-And just don't worry about anything-I just don't want to be caught in those caves after dark." "A-Agreed..." Lyle lightly chuckled. "B-But yes..Patrick; at the end of the day it is a manor I most with to now encounter." "Then let's get going." Glen peeped into the room. "The faster the better; I'll await outside." He headed out. "Come along your Highness..." He waved. "R-Right.." Lyle blinked, then followed. Coire too picked up the remaining dishes, "B-But yea; just leave it piled up. I'll tend to it later."

Auransky (random question: why are there ads with sound now? :0) Patrick nodded and did exactly as Coire said; he left the dishes piled up in the kitchen. He looked over at him and grinned softly. "Yeah getting lost in the caves would be horrible. I am actually surprised we managed to get out when we did," he said, tugging at the gloves on his hands as he headed for the door. "We better catch up before they leave us." He opened the door and headed outside, heading straight for the group. "All right," he looked over his shoulder, then at them. "Lead the way."

He walked over to the other end of the room, "B-But yes-we should get going. Right behind them before they really do leave us behind." He followed after Patrick. On the inside he was very excited for what was to come. Glen tapped the ground with his foot. "We'll go by foot.." He considered. "The less attention the better." "A-Alright.." Lyle nodded. "S-Suggestions?" Glen raised a brow. Lyle shook his head, "I-I don't fare with plans too well." He turned his attention over to Patrick, the grew a smile as he returned his attention to glen. "Lead the way." Glen nodded, "With certainty!" His voice held a serious manor, and with that he marched off. Coire followed behind. "Oh this will be interesting. How long before the pressure strikes." HE taunted Glen from the side.

AuranskyPatrick nodded at the mention about going by foot, looking the group over as they headed off. He fell into step beside Lyle, not really wanting to bother the brothers as they teased each other. "I hope we won't get caught," he now said, not to anyone in patricular, he was just thinking out loud. He brought a hand up to his chin as he thought, shaking his head. "if we do, how are we going to try to reason with them?"

"We can avoid them or anyone in the mines-there's a lor of paths. Some still not marked offically." He smirked like a child just at that simple thought. "The mines should be up ahead!" Both Coire and Glen called up they were still in some argument, but the thought just crossed their minds at the same time.

Auransky (Alright, sounds good!) "Oh there are some paths that are unmarked?" Patrick asked, glancing over toward the prince with a grin. "Then, if someone were to find out we are here, we could use one of those to escape." He thought out loud. Then his attention was brought up toward the mines as they soon came into view. He quickened the pace a little, looking around some, just to check so make sure no one was watching, then snuck inside after them, his eyes adjusting to the slight darkness. "All right, we got in," he stated, looking at them in turn before continuing down what looked like the main path. "No place in particular we are checking out, correct?"

broken "Yes, we can certainly pull through with that idea." Lyle agreed. "The unmarked paths are somewhat known by the miners, but until final confirmation, unofficial." He added. He looked over at the cave; he stopped to look around before Running after Patrick. He glimpsed behind him to see the Twins catching up, but still in somewhat of an argument. He sighed, perhaps of relief, or just at the two arguming. Turning his attention back to Patrick he nodded once again. "Well-" He considered. "We have no real direction-it is just us, this cave and looking for something that may destroy all of us." His voice was rather light on the subject. "Then let's get a move on." Glen walked infront of everyone now, it was mainly to get away from Coire.

AuranskyPatrick moved to the side a little as Glen took the lead. He looked over at Lyle with a shrug. "I am fine with whatever, just as long as we get lost- or at least if we do get lost, we are able to find our way out," he muttered softly before looking around a little, shoving his hands into the jacket pockets. "Ah and I have forgotten, was it just crystals that were causing illusions or did you actually meet a demon somewhere in here?"

brokenLyle chuckled at the thought, "We will probably find our way out. Eventually..." He considered now. "But even with the unmarked paths, there has to be something indicating a way. Just like the lanterns along the walls." He considered. He glimpsed up forward then behind them to see the last bits of sunrays gleaming in. "O-Oh" He turned his attention. "we are looking for crystals, which is easier said then done because this is a mine after all. The demon yesterday I didn't encounter him here, it was more along the lines that he came down here with me." "Well then, we got Glen for extra protection." Coire spoke with a smug. Glen gazed away, "We will all be fine!" He assured. "no personal, less distractions, more mining!" "Well the first clearing should be up ahead right?" Coire tilted his head. "And from there other tunnels leading to many other clearings." Glen added

broken (HA! I hate when that happens. Q.Q )) Lyle sighed, "Aye, I was a fool for following the first friendly face." He looked to the sides of the wall now, "Well the harder part is finding it because there is more rocks out here. Mine carts with collected gems, and whatever else they are gathering. I saw a sample of it back at the castle but another question we need to ask ourselves is, if it comes in one color, many colors, shapes, or many different types of rocks?" Coire tapped the prince on the sholder. "You worry too much! relax and just focus on our objectives. One step at a time!" "I-I may... or may not know my way around here." Glen gazed away trying to keep a straight face. Reaching the open clearing he couldn't help but turn around and walk backwards for a bit. "I wasn't dared to spend the night in here or anything, that would be lutanist."

Then once Glen spoke, his attention was on him again. "So in other words, you do know your way around here... somewhat," he commented with a tilt of his head. "This is good news for us. He looked back at the group before heading off to the side to take a look. "W-Well..." Glen continued looking away. "I do know my way a little. Not too much , but by then how many new paths have been created? Things we need to take into consideration." He walked over to a pile of ruble then started gently brush a bit. "But I was stuck in here perhaps a few months ago? I lost a bet after an assignment and the boys wanted some excitement. So the bet took multiple turns. While I had to be here, someone else had to be in the open woods. Another individual had to take higher elevation, and I forgot where the other individual had to be-I think it was the stables." He sighed. "It was a while ago nonetheless, and whoever came up with such cruel ideas is still going to recieve a brutal awaking when I find the one responsible."

AuranskyPatrick blinked, beginning to look around at the rubble himself. He pushed a few small rocks out of the way, trying to see if there were even any crystals that might be what they're looking for. "Ah I see," he shook his head, chuckling softly. "I can't believe you actually did that...nonetheless, it is good you know a little bit about this place, even though they have added a ton of tunnels." He continued looking, soon straightening up as he examined a rock. "This is probably a strange question, but do these crystals have any side-effects when touched?" He threw the rock down with a sigh before looking over at them.

It's upsetting, rather annoying, but-a bet is a bet nonetheless. The guy in the stable might have had a more warming time then I did though." He walked over to the side and started moving some rocks around. Coire headed over to the side spotting a mine cart, he appproached and began carefully moving the rocks around. Lyle blinked turning his attention over to Patrcik. "Well that is a very odd question in deed. The biggest issue is that there hasn't been much confirmation on the questions. While it is to drain you when touched or held; it was never asked how long it is supposed to be touch or held. Nightmares, illusions, and everything else happen after long term interation, but we aren't sure what sets off much as of this moment. One thing for certain, it can give you a bad vibe.
