Auransky(D'aw that really sucks, but hey, only two weeks of bio left for you! Man, I gotta wait until the end of the school year, then take the AP test aha fun... ) Patrick nodded at what one of the brothers said, then watched the other as he approached a mine cart. Though, soon ,he continued with his search through the debris left at the side of the walls. "Oh, I see," he replied to the prince with a frown. It wasn't much information, but it might just be enough to work with. So he would know if the crystals he picked up were the right ones or not. He was about to ask another question, but it was obvious that the prince wouldn't have any knowledge about that, either. "So if we just get a bad vibe about this place, that's how we know we're getting closer..." "So these jewels...the causes are unknown, so doesn't that mean the kingdom will need samples in order to do testing on the subject?"

broken((I GOT A B!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ON the second exam xD Two more exams to go! )) ((But tbf I don't feel like I studied enough >.< )) "S-Something like that." Lyle turned his attention. "We have samples at the castle, as for testing well-there has been no mention. These are descriptions based on the people working in these mines. But the demon yesterday snatched a sample yesterday, he claimed that it was the thing he needed. Something about being able to maybe put up a fight against blessed items." Coire took out some bigger rocks from the mine cart, in order to get a better view on the inside. After the bigger rocks were out he started to pull out different colored rocks; then lumped them on the side based on colors. "Found what appears to be quartz but not the rock you speak of." Glen sighed at first. "Worst comes to worst we might need to dive deeper into the mine and see if we carry better chances."

Auransky(Oh congrats! And good luck on your other two exams! Hopefully you'll do just as well!) Patrick sighed some, shaking his head. "Great, the demon got his hands on a sample yesterday?" He said, shaking his head a shrug he pushed a few of the bigger rocks aside, picking up a few smaller ones. He examined them before looking up at Glen's suggestion. "Yeah, I think so too. All I'm finding is what's left of rocks..." he trailed off, dropping a few of what looked like normal rocks on the ground before taking a few steps toward one of the tunnels. "Which one should we take, though?"

brokenLyle glimpsed away for a moment, "W-Well... yes, but no one needs to know that. W-Well actually please don't let it be known. Should anyone find out, mother will know I disobeyed her." Coire turned with a sigh; walking over towards Patrick. "Huh, so many tunnels, so few of us. Splitting up may not be fun." He turned his attention over to Glen. "Leader of this group, lead us like your superiors lead you." He lightly joked. "And get told to execute myself by the princes' orders?" Glen raised a brow walking over towards the two. "no thanks! If anything-we are doing this as a team." He looked at the tunnels. "But if I remember this tunnel left leads to an underwater river; the water is warm , so there might be a spring past the river. Gems are best to be looked for in water sometimes." "Well then we go left." Lyle walked over to the group, then stepped towards the left. "All suggestions help, but if we find nothing then we perhaps prove everything to be false."

Auransky"I wouldn't nessicarily say that," Patrick said to the prince as he also headed for the left tunnel. "Whatever they found could still be true, even if we don't find anything. Though, it really does sound like a big story, huh? I don't know how anyone could believe it..." He stepped into the tunnel, glancing back at Glen for a moment. "Ah, you certainly have some knowledge about these gems, unless that's just common sense." The teenager chuckled softly then looked forward again as he traveled deeper down the tunnel, trying his best to see through the darkness.

broken"I guess." Lyle glimpsed up at the thought; "The stories, and reports were all repeating themselves. I-I just assumed that the long term exposure may have something to do with it. While I am excited to be here, and perhaps being able to find these things which people deem rechid; I also fear, fear that we may fall under its affect or-something worst." He shook his head shortly, "B-But we need to stay positive right? And just leave all possibilities open." Glen turned around, slowly walking backwards to address Patrick. "Well-it's more like I was cold. All I had was whatever was on me that day-so.." He paused, "I went around looking for things that might have been left behind by the minors. Instead I found the spring; which warmedup the area by a bit." He nodded at the thought. "But while I was there, some things were shining; perhaps not the rock we are looking for but other rocks. So it's somewhat safe to assume that rocks drift along the river-" He let out a surprise gasp, as he tripped over a rock. "And that is why you don't walk backwards in caves." Coire approached, then knelt down to help his brother up. "Perhaps you can pull it off, but even in caves, it just does not work as well." He sighed, then looked up ahead; "Looks like it's slightly lighting up ahead. Perhaps the next open clearing?" "S-Should be." Glen dusted himself off.

Auransky"You know if we do fall under the affects, at least one of us will probably be alright to go get some help," Patrick said with a shrug. "Perhaps we won't worry about that if[/] if happens."
Then, the boy blinked, looking at Glen as he chuckled softly, nodding at what Coire had said. "You know, he does have a point. It's quite dangerous to do a thing like that." He continued forward past then as he made his way into the clearing, looking around. "Rocks, you say?" He asked taking careful steps forward. "I do see rocks, but none that shine right now." He walked toward the slow moving river, peering in.

broken((Feel free to find it if you;d like. Just throwing in some practice for self description Also a little brain dead atm with the bio exam and final coming up. >.< )) "Well, let's keep that as a final possibility." Lyle lightly laughed. "It would still be a bad outcome." Glen tisked in slight annoyance. "I was looking for our rock. falling makes things easier to find, because you see angles you normally wouldn't see." He explained while dusting himself off. He could see the laughter errupting from Coire, but he kept firm on his words. "It helps, helps a lot!" "Sure- helps spin the mind of reality." Coire slapped Glen on the shoulder. "Now wake up and smell the dirt, we need to find what we are looking for." He approached the mirror then began to walk alongside it. "Well- we are certainly bound to find something." Lyle softly stated as he wandered to the other end of the room.

Auransky (oh it's fine. And good luck on the exams and video projects! (I saw the other thread, I'm not being creepy ) I'll see you when you get back!) Patrick was still chuckling at Glen, shaking his head as he glanced back at them before turning his attention back toward the river. When he did that, a flash caught his eye and he blinked, kneeling down, seeing the shining object. He took his gloves off and pocketed them before grabbing at whatever was shining. He pulled out a few gem-lined rocks, setting some by his side before examining one of them. It seemed to be flashing a light orange and it was a little warm to the touch. "Hey guys, I think I found something! It might not be what we're looking for, but it might be a clue if we're getting close."

broken ((LOL no need to apologize on the creepiness. I did flag it to appear on every thread for a few days. )) ((And I am back! Sorta- Currently editing the videos from last week. Passed Bio with a B. Thank goodness! Q.Q )) Glen shrunk a little from his usual posture. He felt like a kid at the school house, being laughed at from the others. So in silence he shuffled his feet away from the others. It was noticable, but it only raised the laughter level in the room. "Oh, Glen. So strong, and high mighty. shrinks when three people alone in a cave make fun of him." Coire crossed his arms with a rather smug look. "Honestly, this is a victory on my end. I can never make you reach such levels as these. So I will gladly invite Patrick over more often!" His eyes sparked in excitement. Lyle shuffled a few rocks pulling out some green rocks, "Huh-Green." He pulled it over to the side then shuffled some more to see what appeared like gold. "M-Maybe gold but it could be fools gold." He considered. That was about the only type of gold he was familiar with, because it appeared like gold but its silver outline brought sorrow. He paused hearing Patrick then walked over. "Perhaps." His voice held hope. "But even if that isn't what we are looking for, maybe you should keep it; might make good currency back in town." @shootforthestars 🎃𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛🦇 telirius inky

Just got back from a college visit that I had to wake up at 5am for, then drive 2-3 hours to get there o.o) Patrick looked back over at the two brothers with a smile. "Oh, I was only joking, Glen, don't take it seriously," he said, shaking his head before sitting back on his heels, raising the rock to examine it more. He then glanced back at Lyle with a shrug. "Hm, maybe," he said with a shrug. "Do you know anyone back in town who might be able to appraise it or something?" He asked, then pocketed the rock. "Forget it, that was a stupid question, it's probably not what we're looking for."

"It doesn't hurt to be completely out of character every now and then. Otherwise life would be very un interesting." Coire pulled out some more rocks, "You got a point, but then again we are in a cave. Might as well take full advantage of it." Lyle knelt by the river, glimpsing in. There were a few shiny rocks, but not exactly what he was looking for. "There might be some traders back in town." He turned his attention. "I'm not too familiar with town life, but I'd guess there would be. Just need to look a bit. If not find a shop that specifies in it." "There is a rock merchant in town." Coire called out. "Consider collecting what you want, no matter how small. If you hit something of value, it's size wont matter as much. There are also traders whom trade items instead of currency. If the prince is inviting us to go picking, why should we decline?" "Because we wouldn't be humble." Glen shook his head, "But-" He paused. "It never hurts? The economy is collapsing, we need o gather what we can.." @shootforthestars ((Oh my, you actually replied. o.o )) ((I was just curious to see if you would replylol)) ((We still don't have a king replacement either q.q ))

Auransky(How in the world do you survive, then? XD that was exhausting. I guess you'll get used to it after a while, though) Patrick sighed, nodding as he listened to the whole conversation. "Yeah, I guess I'll do exactly that, then," he replied, then looked over at Coire. "Ah there is a rock merchant? Great, I just hope they don't ask where we've gotten the rocks." Then he returned back to the river again before straightening back up, walking away and toward the side of the cave to look around there. There were a few other rocks and debris, so he might as well look. Plus he was pretty sure none of the others have looked there yet. "I just hope we're able to find something soon."

The satisfaction of telling people who live down the street to hush up on the topic of traffic. ) (I been doing it for almost three years. Some semesters I take classes at a later time and avoid traffic so my drive can he like thirty minutes. Other times it's traffic one way, empty the other. So I'm not really driving a three hour distance, it's more of a three hour wait time.) Coire chuckled, "for all they care is that you brought them something of value. Some are independent merchants, others have deals with local pottery makers. One rock has a ton of uses. As long as people supply they could care less." Glen was shuffling through another pile of dirt which was filling in a rather already dug hole. It was odd, considering that most holes were dug out, but this one was dug back in. He started to force out as much dirt as he could, yet the hole was deeper then it appeared at first glance. "Or a sinkhole?" He softly asked himself. "We will find something soon." Lyle assured. "But with that demonyesterday, for all we know he could have seemed these caves last night to look for allure rocks that were out in the open. We might need to dig a little to look inside the dirt for anything." He considered. "Luckly for us, the miners have left some of their supplies lying around." @shootforthestars (If you can that would be great! ) ( If only 🎃𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛🦇 would appear to progress the story on that end too. >.< ) (We had a group at a nearby kingdom exploring the complete annihilation of everything. Auransky(Yeah I guess that does make sense. Though I won't be driving home and to college ever day, I'll be living in a dorm, which I'm a little nervous about. But eh, I'll have to get over it I guess) "Yeah know , guess you're right," Patrick said, puching a few of the larger rocks out of the way. Then, he looked over at a Glen for a moment with a slight frown. "Oh, if it's a sinkhole, you better not fall in." The teen finally heard that the prince said and nodded, standing up again and heading over toward one of the mine's walls, picking up a shovel. "It is good thepat they left some supplies. "Miners are known for hiding loot, something the guards have been asked to keep an eye on when coming to the mines." Lyle nodded, "The order included they stop. My guess-is that whoever came to execute the order, was keen on dropping whatever the miners were doing to evacuate. But we do have the mines to ourselves, and the day is still young, so we surely will find something." He spoke in a hopeful tone. "Worst comes to worst, we find nothing." Coire chuckled, "Find nothing-sounds like the average day in a mine. after that which was simple to find is taken out; one fights to find more."

He chooses the civic over the sports car xD I currently have to bike everywhere because the transmission went out in my accord o.o geez, I have such an old car; I bought it from my uncle really cheap, since it was my cousin's) "Oh so most of the miners can't even be trusted because they take loot for themselves? I guess it makes sense, a job like this, you'd have plenty of opportunities to do that," he said with a shrug, unburying a few rocks from a hole, pulling out a few stones. "Oh we'll probably find something. We're probably looking in the wrong place, though," he said with a shrug. "IF we don't find anything, you could just pry information from your mother, your highness." He suggested, looking over at the prince once before continuing to dig up some dirt.

She's like "No you take the civic" for its miliage, and the fact that where you work is where everyone has a higher end car. o.o )) ((Aye my older brother bought his first car with the help of my dad. The steering wheel came off easily, and the door latched off on the first drive. So going to the junkyard he found a door replacement. The steering wheel was just placed back in whenever it came off. Now he has like 5+ sports cars. Debates which one to take around town from time to time. >.< It's funny just watching him readjust each car)) Glen shrugged, "I don't want to be direct, but yes. Miners need to make a living too, and with the way our economy is dropping; this is a need to living." He continued shuffling the rocks from side to side. "Considering they are down here all day, I would not blame them for doing things of the sort." At the mention of his mother, Lyle shied away, "She wont tell me anything, instead she'll be scolding me for asking more about what she asked me to not ask about." He continued digging into the hole. He paused feeling something rough at the bottom floor. He blinked leaning in to shuffle more dirt off the rough surface. Seeing a glimpse of something dark, then with more dirt off he felt a fabric along the surface. "T-There's something down here." He softly called out. Coire blinked turning over towards Lyle. "Better not be some snake of sorts." He jokingly stated, walking over to kneel down and help widen the small hole. Seeing the glimpse of the bottom he blinked, brushing a hand against the surface, "There is something down here. A fabric? Like a cloth sack?" He tried to picture the possibility. "Something buried perhaps ? B-But we'd need to make the hole bigger to see it for ourselves." He turned his attention towards Glen, "Grab a torch from the side of the wall we need light." Glen snorted. "Alright captain." He headed for the wall to snatch a torch, then returned casually over to the two making the hole bigger. "Maybe a shovel or ax would help." He considered turning his attention towards Patrick,"Mind snatching something of the sort?" He knelt down and leaned the light closer in, "A black sack....not small either.." he tried to distinguish it.

He went over toward the group, looking over their shoulders and into the hole, seeing what they were talking about. "Y-yeah sure, I'll go do that," he muttered, turning and looking around before heading off in a random direction, snatching up one of the shovels leaning against the side of the dirt wall. Seeing the shovel he turned his attention over to Coire, "Your package has arrived." Glen couldn't help but glance into the hole once more, "For all we know it could be treasure, or something a Minor was intending to pick up later." Coire turned to Patrick taking the shovel with a nod and thanks. "Aye, I think Glen's having too much fun all of a sudden. Considering we found him as a mess last night from head to toe." 🎃𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛🦇 Chiaki sighed, "Defining interesting is always left to the listener." She replied softly then settled herself in place. "Well to start off; i'm certain you never herd of the silent order? You shouldn't, it's what the king considers a none-existent entity; and the king wishes to keep it that way. The reason for his doing is personal and has not shared with anyone else; but he has told us one thing, and one thing only. It's to not tell the queen; nor alert her of this round above the table." She glimpsed out for a moment. "We deal with forign affairs; things outside Nolyra's reaches. We take on tasks that require us to check ahead for the knights tasked with escorts; we are to assure that the path ahead is safe at all costs. We are asked to assist other kingdoms in minor affairs that may cause harm to our homeland in the lon grun." "Our team was bigger at the start, but still smaller then the average team of knights. It consisted of Hajime, Makoto, our previous leader Yash, myself, and-" She paused for a moment, "The traitor Rave..." "What made Rave a traitor was not only killing Yash, but secretly selling armory, and information to an underground ring hence we have been tailing for a while." She gazed down slightly upset. "Now perhaps that would be enough to call Rave a traitor, but-Yash wasn't just your average person; he was a messenger of the skies above. An angel whom been assigned to watch the king...therefore Rave is wanted on more then one end." She paused again to look around the camp; wondering if the tea was set. "Well-We found out recently that Rave sold his soul to a witch, and con'd a devil; therefore he had the essentials to wipe up our beloved leader. Not only wipe him, but stop any process in reviving him should there have been one." Her voice softened a bit. She was upset, with the events as clearly noted in her tone. "The sword our current captain uses belonged to Yash; it was given to Hajime to complete the task at hand..." She added. "B-But now there is a new question at hand..." She added. "Rave during a previous encounter, stated that we were pawns in a bigger game. That we can trust no one in the royal house; he speaks of puppets and manipulation. The king, and queen; those who are gaining while others are suffering." She leaned a little, "You are welcome to interigate the man whom we hold in question, no one will stop you. We are beyond the borders; therefore actions must be taken if they account for reasoning." "S-Should you like more information we will provide it, but we ask you keep the kings word..." ((Not a lot has happened.)) ((Had a new chap join, rp'd for a bit, then disapeared. We were hoping to have our new person encounter the group in the mines. Ok, thanks ^^ I might be a bit rusty, so I apologize in advance.) Arai had listened with a stone cold expression, it never wavering. As her sentence trailed off he said "By your story I can assume you have no information on this larger game." it wasn't so much a question, more of a comment "I have no need to question him. He is your problem. But if further information surfaces I would like to know." it had been a long time since he had heard of something going on within the kingdom, but with his position he was always too busy to look into it.

"All I see if four of us, in a cave, that is supposed to be empty by orders of the royal house." He tapped his own elbow, "I also see it being sun out, and we're inside a cave in the depths of what could be considered night. Anyone aching for adventure would be excited." Coire rolled his eyes, "Glen just speak directly please." He then started to lean farther into he hole. He paused for a second to think it through. "It could be that his plan backfired, or that he did it so his coworkers would have a difficult time retrieving it during their work day." Lyle crawled into the hole, Coire had helped make it wide enough to go in, but part of the pouch was still trapped. Going into the hole he started to poke the dirt to his left, in hopes of making it just enough to drag it out. "We'll find out in just a moment." He called out.
