I want honest thoughts, but NOT an argument okay? in my opinion alderheart is biromantic and puddleshine is homoromantic. i will love this ship until the day i die, the amount of worry going through alderheart's head when he heals puddleshine with deathberries is much more than friendship to me. it's not as blatant as ravenbarley or talljake but it's still pretty obvious in my opinion. (this art is not mine as you might have guessed. also rip needletail)  |

nah. alderheart is anxious about everything so that situational reaction felt pretty on par to his usual self, imo, not romantic coded at all.

I don't really see it tbh. I always saw it as a very strong friendship, and they're both dedicated to their jobs as opposed to romance.

its cute, yeah. i think the reason its so easy to read as romantic is because they actually have chemistry and nice interactions, which was a big struggle for the series around that point in time. its been getting better, but avos did not have the best character relationships imo.

Cute. I definitely think the fanon AlderPuddle is better than the briefly canon AlderVelvet shoved into one book in the latter half of AVoS. That was just so unnecessary.

Cute. I definitely think the fanon AlderPuddle is better than the briefly canon AlderVelvet shoved into one book in the latter half of AVoS. That was just so unnecessary. aldervelvet was cute but it was too short and didn't have time to develop therefore making it unnecesery i was ok with alderneedle at first but i didn'tlike needlepaw bieing with darktail for so long lessening the tolerance i had for it |

No thanks, I'd rather Alderheart be single, or with Velvet in a scenario where he becomes a kittypet. I'm also not big on shipping medicine cats with other medicine cats, it never really made sense to me.

I don't think anything about them was purposefully written to be shippy, but I love them regardless and AlderPuddle is def my fav Alderheart ship. No deep reason, I just think they're cute.
