They all sound like great matchups and yup, Foxpaw being mentored by Talonstrike is fine by me!
Also, there seems to be a body of water in Willowclan's camp. And there's the sea on their territory too. How dangerous is the latter and are apprentices allowed to go there? My boy Foxpaw absolutely loves to swim so he'd either want to spend a lot of time there or be sulky that he's not allowed to

Sagepaw would 100% be in a dilemma "my mentor is breaking the code. But if I tell I'll be betraying their trust, but if I don't I'm keeping something dangerous a secret. But they aren't really doing anything wrong?? They are just in love they can't help they were born in different clans....but it's against the codee" sitting in a corner of camp with his paws on his head

I feel abd for foxpaw XD pine I'm sorry for the harshness he will be put through by talonstrike she will be pushing him so much out of his comfort zone cause he needs confidence

He'll have to deal with that, as much as it sucks for him. Poor thing but it might help him in the long run. I think he'll always be on the more withdrawn side but he will develop a quiet confidence over time

Great ^^ Might be useful for deciding pairs or even onesided crushes. Also, someone needs to make an apprentice called Leafpaw for Mintpaw xD And Foxpaw would like that a lot. Also a nice method. Positive reinforcement and stuff

so, the water in camp is supposed to be just a lil pond basically. I had written up some info on it but am struggling locating it in all my random google docs. So pretty shallow, pretty tame. My idea was basically its there to make water elementals comfortable in camp, but it's not a danger at all.
The ocean is, well, an ocean lol. I figure Willowclan accepts this risk about the same as they would accept the risk of apprentices being out in the forest with foxes or apprentices being on border patrols or apprentices climbing the mountains- just one of the risks of clan life. But I am thinking there might be like a 'high tide' season in which cats of all ages are forbidden for going. No idea when that is. Anyone close to a beach have any idea? Google is confusing me.
All in all, Willowclan territory does look a lil more precarious, doesn't it lol 
Willowclan also has less hunting grounds than Ivyclan, unless you count precarious bird hunting in the mountains or rat hunting in the abandoned twolegplace, which could lead to diseases...

Why did reading blues post about willowclan give me this idea for mintpaw
In which he feels like he disappointed Frecklecloud, Thistlestar(which he probably did anyways), and even Foxskip. So this boy somehow manages to get out of camp, and tries to track down the badger to make sure it's gone/fight it on his own to make up for his failure the first time
