C L A N H I S T O R Y  I plan on writing a little bit of a short story here about the clans history and how they came to be, but that will be on a later day! For now, just know that Ivyclan is older than Willowclan, that there are no known humans in this world, just ruins and abandoned twolegplaces, and that Starclan answers to a higher deity called the Ancients, which is where they get their prophecies, quests, etc from. The Ancients are rumored to be the ones who created the earth, and you can give thanks to both Starclan and them.

Name: Shadecreek Clan: IvyClan Age: 20 moons Gender: Tom Rank: Warrior Elemental Power: Water Totem: Crane Description: Broad shouldered tom with long, almost feathery black fur and big yellow-green eyes. He has a splash of white going down his throat to his chest and a smudge of the same color on his mouth as well as big white paws. Personality: As big as he looks, Shadecreek is a gentle cat at heart. Easy-going and a good listener. Shadecreek is dedicated to his clan will put the needs of others before his own. As much as he would rather have peace between the two clans, he will fight if he must. While he enjoys good company, Shadecreek is a bit of an introvert and would rather be around a few cats that are close to him or on his own. They both look great, I would be totally down to let Shadecreek be one part of the forbidden romance once we get Willowclan up and running (Probably this weekend sometime) and I will for sure consider Mossyleap for one of our first quests! Dark

Small question about a character i have in mind, lemme know if this is allowed so i don't go and do it and than find out i cant: making a young cat, around 21 moons, that had to retire really early on in their warrior career after suffering a severe injury, paralyzed in their front right leg, and so they weren't able to do their duties that's what i have in mind for a character, again please lemme know if something like this would be allowed bluewonder |

Ember34 I actually really like that idea because Thistlestar would definitely be the type of leader to retire a cat instead of actually trying to give them a chance. As long as you're okay with her throwing MAJOR shade to your character, you're more than welcome to write it up!
Thistlestar in my mind isn't necessarily like, Dark Forest evil, btw. But she will definitely be a source of difficulty to several of her clanmates lives lol.
Also, I've decided I def need to elaborate some on what I was thinking with Powerstones. Let me just get a post up on the RP and stew for a second then I'll come back here and tell yall what I'm thinking about it here in a second. For now, I'm not adding anyones powerstone til I discuss it with you guys.

Oh hey moonclaw400, for Frecklecloud, the like 'angry mama' subplot idea applies to her being the mom of the 4 moon old apprentices that got apprenticed early by Thistlestar. I just wanted to be able to create some drama with Thistlestar and an angry mama perhaps bickering back and forth lol. I am more than okay with Frecklecloud taking that role, but that would make her the mother of Mintpaw and possible two other yet to be made apprentices, should anyone else come along to make them. I am also more than okay with her being the mom of Patchpaw and Pebblepaw instead, but they're not the apprentices who were appointed early. They're 7 moons, the newly appointed apprentices are 4. So I'll let you decide which one you'd rather do before I add her to family trees, if that makes sense.

Okay, also I wanted to kinda workshop this idea with you guys. So powerstones as I see it are given after receiving a quest. I was thinking this [[Usually]] only happens once per cat, as the Ancients ((starclans higher ups, lol)) tend to spread their favor equally and without partiality. In my mind, not all cats will go on a quest to a powerstone, and the ones who never get a quest or calling feel pretty bummed about it usually lol. Cats can gain a 'broken stone' from either a deceased relative or stealing one in battle, which is just a stone whos owner has died and it is like at half strength bc of this... but this is kinda rare too, in my opinion. Thistlestar has one, but I haven't written up anyone else with one. I originally just didn't want to stack any one cat with power until maybe a big bad in the future  .
To me, questing would be like a chosen can takes two or so others and does like a mini version of the great journey in TNP, or basically like a side RP where they travel to a certain spot and have to maybe fight something or find something... just kinda different for everyone. And in my mind this is typically a great honor for all cats involved, is usually announced at gatherings like a pride point, etc. But its perilous, and cats might die, which is fun.
So that being said I'm struggling to figure out how to make that dream a reality. In RP, I figure maybe only one group can 'quest' at a time, so as to not leave all the other cats defenseless at home. I'm thinking senior warriors may have already done a quest, but the younger warriors I want to be able to gain their powers through RP, I think that would be super cool. But if only one cat gets a powerstone per quest, it'll potentially take a longgg time for everyone to get to let their cats go on a quest, in my mind... depending on how many members we will get total, I suppose.
So! I'm thinking out loud here, lemme know what yall think:
I think that maybe instead of a single cat finding a single stone, maybe Starclan calls a group of 3 or so cats to quest towards a pocket of powerstones, that way 3 or so cats can gain powers at a time without everyone having to wait forever for their turn to let their cat receive a stone. Every now and again something scandalous happens like theres only two stones instead of three so the cats fight for it, or a cat dies in the journey, or something like that, but mostly all three cats return and are that much stronger.
Btw, I just thought of that idea and love it for it's drama! I think I will make that idea a claimable subplot in the future, the two stones for three cats thing. That would be wicked, the cats would go on like this whole harrowing journey together just to possibly turn on each other at the end. Yes. Perfection.
Anyway, I'm also thinking that maybe instead of only one stone in a cat's life, for this RP's longevity sake, maybe you can get multiple, but only through RP, and it'll take a while.
What do you guys think?
So basically, if you have a senior warrior or a warrior who is older, I can go ahead and give them a powerstone, and it'll be like they got it before when they were younger. Otherwise, your cat can quest for it in RP, but it may take a while before they're called on a quest.
Does that sound good?

But if only one cat gets a powerstone per quest, it'll potentially take a longgg time for everyone to get to let their cats go on a quest, in my mind... depending on how many members we will get total, I suppose.
So! I'm thinking out loud here, lemme know what yall think:
I think that maybe instead of a single cat finding a single stone, maybe Starclan calls a group of 3 or so cats to quest towards a pocket of powerstones, that way 3 or so cats can gain powers at a time without everyone having to wait forever for their turn to let their cat receive a stone. Every now and again something scandalous happens like theres only two stones instead of three so the cats fight for it, or a cat dies in the journey, or something like that, but mostly all three cats return and are that much stronger.
Btw, I just thought of that idea and love it for it's drama! I think I will make that idea a claimable subplot in the future, the two stones for three cats thing. That would be wicked, the cats would go on like this whole harrowing journey together just to possibly turn on each other at the end. Yes. Perfection.
Anyway, I'm also thinking that maybe instead of only one stone in a cat's life, for this RP's longevity sake, maybe you can get multiple, but only through RP, and it'll take a while.
What do you guys think?
So basically, if you have a senior warrior or a warrior who is older, I can go ahead and give them a powerstone, and it'll be like they got it before when they were younger. Otherwise, your cat can quest for it in RP, but it may take a while before they're called on a quest.
Does that sound good?
