Dark 5 per clan to start out with! I just don't care for it when clans have characters that are never mentioned bc everyone has like 20 cats. I like developing each cat's personality!
Sand That's a great question. I've made Dapplesky and and Lizardeye's age difference gigantic by accident. Like, when Dapplesky was born Lizardeye was 120 Moons. Yikes. So maybe Lizardeye had Blacksong later in life, as a senior warrior perhaps. I'm going to have a headcanon that Lizardeye, being the fiesty grandma she is, had flings and had fun without being ready for kits until she settled down with Oatstream. So maybe she was 80 moons or so when she had her first and only litter of kits, that being Blacksong, and maybe then Blacksong had her kits at 40 moons, at which point she died in childbirth. And then since Dapplesky is 20 moons now, that means Blacksong would be 60 moons if still alive. If you don't want Oriolehop to be that old or young, though, we can change around some math. Just tell me what you're thinking. I'm excited to get to RP with you, but I hope you enjoy the beach and take all the time relaxing that you need!

Junospower - yes indeedy! I will be posting Willowclan as quickly as I can, It'll basically be a copy of Ivyclan, only with a more chill vibe since Thistlestar is a tyrant and Ryestar is a sweetheart. It shouldn't be taking this long, I really just am struggling to write out the territory and change some of the words from 'Ivyclan' to 'Willowclan' lol. I may go ahead and post it though so that we can be forming some characters and be doing patrols. For sure sometime this weekend.
🐦silvermoon2🐦 - Nice, Poppypaw looks good and I'll assign her a mentor soon too! I like the idea of her rogue/clan heritage! Looking forward to seeing more of that!

A brave and sometimes serious sweety! I've actually already written up all my Willowclan cats, just have to post them. Here's what I had for her if it helps!
Ryestar - Previously Ryebreeze, Air Elemental (3 remaining lives) 38 Moons Willowclan Bear
Ryestar is a dark ginger tabby she-cat with kind golden eyes. Ryestar has a fiercely passionate heart and refuses to help any cat in need. She believes in the good of all cats, even her enemies. Ryestar is naturally kind hearted and a peacemaker, but has enough of a backbone to be able to stand up to what she thinks is wrong. This has made her an honored and well respected leader of Willowclan, but has come with a price. Her self-sacrificial nature has caused Ryestar to throw herself in harms way on behalf of her clan several times over, leading her to only having 3 lives left at such a young age. Ryestar values family, friendship, and teamwork.
I figured having her so depleted of lives at such a young age would be good for the drama every time she lost one from this point on, and then eventually I'd hand the leadership role over to whoever the deputy would be, and have them try to figure out how to deal with Thistlestar without Ryestar around. I already am in love with her though so it'll be hard to let her go!!

Okay! Hi! So powerstones, let's finalize this.
So I want us to just RP a bit for funsies before we do the first quest. Like, do patrols, maybe even a gathering, before we split off and do a lil side mission. That way all our characters get to know each other a lil.
Here are the cats and possible stones, for my own reference:
Shadecreek- Underwater Breathing, Cold Manipulation
Mossyleap - Perfect Night Vision
Greenthorn - Any
Frecklecloud - Plant Control
Shatterfrost - Cold manipulation
Ebonywhisker - Any
Tansypool - Any
Ashberry - Underwater Breathing
So, you guys let me know what you think. I'm thinking the older cats such as Ashberry and Shatterfrost may already have a powerstone from a previous quest, so maybe we will hold off on them until a quest later. And from the younger cats, whoever wants to say they already have a powerstone and doesn't want to go on the first quest that's fine. I'm thinking I wouldn't have two cats from the same RPer go on a quest, so for example, between Frecklecloud and Greenthorn, if you want one of them to go on a quest the other can already have their powerstone. I also think that for now, I'll say that Ebonywhisker won't get a quest at this moment, so that way she can further her angst if her brother ends up getting one.
So that makes contenders for the first quest be: Shadecreek, Mossyleap, (either greenthorn or frecklecloud) , Tansypool
If out of this list you guys would rather skip a quest and just give your characters a stone, then let me know
And if its okay with you guys, I can go ahead and assign stones to the other non-quest cats. I will definitely try to be sure each RPer has a cat go on a quest eventually, this just made sense in my head for the first one. But like I said, it'll be a min before we actually do it.
Also. I'm going to post up some of my other powerstone ideas in a sec in case anyone wants to claim one or swap out

Alright, I'm not going to worry about formatting just yet, here were some base ideas off my google doc that I didn't introduce yet lol. Some of the powers can be learned already by some elementals- like 'earthquake' is an Earth elemental move, for example. So this powerstone would theoretically go to a cat of a different element so that they can do their own elemental power, like lets say fire, but also have this ace up their sleeve.
Yall peruse, tell me if you want to exchange or claim anything.
Increased Healing (their wounds heal faster, they heal quicker from disease)
Earthquake
Night Vision
Plant Control
Underwater Breathing
Animal Control (Can control prey animals. Useful for hunting, or terrifying an enemy with a swarm of mice)

Shadow Manipulation (Still workshopping what this even means, ideas?)
Reading minds (Seems OP and intrusive, lemme know how I can calm it down)

Vision distortion (Can make someone see something that isn't there)
And then I have mega OP ideas, which I wont be introducing yet or at all, including:
Resurrecting the dead

finally finished my characters, whew.
Cedarfrost may not get along with Hollyfeather too well lol.
I agree with the idea of rping for funsies, do patrols and a gathering, etc. then a side quest. I think it’ll set a stage for everyone to learn how other characters act or how they communicate.
I think Darkwillow has a good suggestion for the reading minds power stone! They wouldn’t really get to know the full thoughts, maybe just an inkling in a way.
As for dream walking, maybe the cat is only allowed to use it so many times in a season? not sure though.

That sounds perfect! So instead of reading minds, they'll read emotions/intentions, basically. Maybe like how Squirrelpaw and Leafpaw kinda knew what each other was up to without actually reading each others minds. @rattlefang, Hollyfeather and Mothdapple are neato and accepted! I'll add them in a min. Would you be chill if I went ahead and added the Speed powerstone to Mothdapple, since he's older? 🐦silvermoon2🐦 Owlfoot also looks great, and same question, you good if I go ahead and give him the invisibility power? Hey actually Sand , I just realized that Cedarfrost's name needs to change! I was originally wanting each cat not to have a prefix or suffix that was already taken and we already have shatterfrost. So if you could swap out the suffix, that would be great. Sorry for not catching it earlier! Also, I was wondering if you would want Foxskip to be Mintpaw's mom? He's young enough that it makes sense to me, they're both fire elementals so it may have been passed down the line, and she can be direct, which might would be fun if she gets fed up with Thistlestar. Or, if you'd rather, she could be supportive of Thistlestar's decision, however you want to play it. I just think him having a mom would be an interesting dynamic. But 100% I won't get my feelings hurt if you'd rather not! And of course as long as Ember34 is good with it!
