Tansypool-Badger Attack-Fighting Patrol
Tansypool rushed in and sent a blast of air, to aid in covering Darkwhisper's leap. He attacked at the badgers side to keep it distracted so that Darkwhisper could make his way to the badger's head. The tom watched from the corner of his eye as Frecklecloud got Mintpaw out of the area.

( Mintpaw has me in my feels right now ;; ) Oriolehop badger fight — accompanied by: Stoatpaw. Mintpaw & Frecklecloud (briefly)
 Oriolehop was grateful that Stoatpaw could follow his command, but Mintpaw seemed to be enamored with a leaf. The sudden movement of the badger caught the tom's gaze when Mintpaw was swept out of the creature's way. His heartbeat quickened once the creature turned her attack on him and Stoatpaw, her beady eyes fixated on both felines."Mintpaw!" he yowled, quickly glancing back at the tom and then his sister.
He was going to need another cat to help them out. Some cat needed to move Stoatpaw and Mintpaw quickly or they would be next as the badger's prey, but it was too late. Mintpaw was hit and Frecklecloud had been able to intercept him. At least he was out of harm's way. "Stoatpaw, move back carefully!"
The ginger and white tabby let out a hiss, glaring at the stupid badger. He leaned down and focused on the destructive animal. A large splash of water was sent flying towards the badger while Oriolehop weaved back and forth to confuse it. Hopefully his diversion would prove successful.
Cedarstorm medicine cat den -> camp entrance — accompanied by: Hollyfeather, Pebblepaw, Shadecreek & Mossyleap  Cedarstorm was ready to leave the medicine cat's den until Pebblepaw began meowing. Clearly the young tom was traumatized and worried. It was normal, especially after seeing the badger throw Shadecreek around like a moss ball. "I wouldn't say it's cowardly," he told Pebblepaw, trying to find the right words. He would have told Pebblepaw something entirely different if he was a warrior, but chose to go easy on him. "You're simply not ready to be fight an elemental badger yet. You saved your mentor and that's an achievement."
The insistence from the black and white tom's almost made Cedarstorm roll his eyes. I really don't want to take Pebblepaw, but he's all I got, he thought, staring at the apprentice with stern copper eyes. "Fine, fine. Stop your begging and come with me. You're lucky I need another set of paws," the umber brown tabby told him. "Let's go. We need to hurry before anyone else comes back in bad shape."
With that, the medicine cat flicked his long tail and beckoned Pebblepaw to follow.

Mintpaw-Badger Attack->Towards Camp-Frecklecloud
Mintpaw gave a small whimper as Frecklecloud picked him up. The young cat struggled to stay conscious, but he was tired and everything had a spark of pain. He wished he was back in camp, curled up in his nest or next to his littermates and mom. Mintpaw grew a little limper in Frecklecloud's jaws as the tom fell unconscious.

Shatterfrost w/ Fighting Patrol
Shatterfrost let out a snarl and leaped onto the badger, sinking his claws into its back. Somewhat stupidly, he jumped further up and raked a claw over the badger's face.

Shadecreek - In Camp - Dark ; Sand ; bluewonderShadecreek purred back to Mossyleap as he felt her bury herself in his long black fur. Then, at Cedarstorm’s insistence, slowly rose from the ground. He was still unsteady and clearly in pain, but he had the support of both his sister and his apprentice to guide him into the medicine cat’s den. He hoped that Thistlestar knows how hard he fought, though he wouldn’t be surprised that she would accused him of not trying hard enough or that he was weak to be defeated by a badger. Speaking of Thistlestar, he glanced around camp again in search of Mintpaw, who was earlier reprimanded by their leader. He was nowhere to be seen. Dread filled his body. “W-Where’s… Where’s Mintpaw?” |

Stoatpaw - Badger Attack - Fighting PatrolStoatpaw soon gave up her attempt of shooting another small blast of earth at the badger, huffing with exertion. The few crumbs of earth she managed to move would be of no use. She briefly glanced over at Mintpaw, relieved to see Frecklecloud pick him up. Then she looked back at the badger and nodded at Oriolehop's command. Slowly she crept backwards, keeping her eye on both the warrior and the huge creature, and hoped that it wouldn't get closer. Darkwhisper - Badger Attack - Fighting PatrolDarkwhisper managed to move forward slowly thanks to Tansypool and Oriolehop's attempts of confusing the badger. For a moment he clung on even more tightly, not wanting to get thrown off the badger's back when he was this close to his goal. He let out a small hiss when Shatterfrost landed beside him, though more surprised than annoyed. He gave the other warrior a small nod and looked at the badger beneath him again. Then he quickly moved his frontpaws towards the badger's face, ready to dig his claws in around the badger's eyes ( bluewonder , it's your badger so you decide whether Darkwhisper manages to cover her eyes or not)

"It doesn't have enough moss. I'll go grab some from my nest!" Before getting a response, she bounded out of the den, ready to fuss over her brother as much as she could. Hollyfeather w/ Shadecreek & Mossyleap- JunospowerHollyfeather helped the tom lay down and get comfortable, rolling her eyes lightly at Mossyleap's exclamation. "She's a handful, isn't she?" She checked to make sure the cobweb binds were on tight and nodded in satisfaction. "I'll change these when Cedarstorm and Pebblepaw get back with some herbs." |

Frecklecloud had just appeared with Mintpaw, who was unconscious. For such a young cat, he looked small and weak. "I'm headed out to find herbs with Pebblepaw," he told the warrior straightforwardly.
Sighing, he leaned down to smell Mintpaw's fur and head. He put a gentle paw on the tom's chest momentarily. Bump-like bruises were forming underneath his silver lilac coat. It didn't appear any of his limbs were broken, just very sore-- for now. Recovery was going to be painful.
"Hollyfeather will need to check him for other injuries, but he is beaten up. He'll stay in my den with Shadecreek. Do you need me to help you move him, Frecklecloud?" he meowed to the warrior. "Also, find his mother. StarClan knows she's going to lose her temper."

Hollyfeather w/ Shadecreek, Mintpaw, & Frecklecloud- Junospower, Ember34, moonclaw400As more noise sounded at the entrance of the den, Hollyfeather looked up to see yet another injured cat, but this time it was Mintpaw, unconscious in Frecklecloud’s jaws. She took a sharp breath and hurried over to where the molly had set him down. As she was checking him for injuries, she meowed, “I assume this was the badger.” Hollyfeather noted that the young tom wasn’t too badly injured, bruises here and there, and a sprained leg. If he had hit his head, there was a chance he could have a concussion, but she prayed to Starclan hoping it wasn’t that severe.

Shadecreek - In Camp - Dark ; Sand ; bluewonder ; Ember34Shadecreek looked in horror at the limp body of Mintpaw. The horror was quickly replaced with rage and his claws dug into his nest. How could Thistlestar allow this to happen? He was a kit for StarClan’s sake and now he was out there risking his life fighting an elemental badger before he was even ready! If he wasn’t wounded like he was, he would have marched right over to Thistlestar and demanded why she let that happened.

Mintpaw-Medicine Cat Den-Frecklecloud, Hollyfeather, Shadecreek
The young tom didn't stir as he was placed in the nest. The tom lying still in the nest except for the rise and fall of his sides. Mintpaw didn't show signs of waking anytime soon, though he hadn't even done any attacks the running after his mentor had been enough to exhaust him combined with the pain from his injuries it was enough to keep him under.

Hollyfeather w/ Shadecreek, Mintpaw, & Frecklecloud- Junospower; Ember34; moonclaw400(nooo why did I have to mention a concussion :cry:) Hollyfeather sent a sharp glare at Shadecreek. "Settle down for now. You can get your anger out as soon as you're healed." She flexed her claws, feeling anxious. Cedarstorm, please hurry.Mossyleap w/ all the homiesThe molly basically leaped back into the medicine den, exclaiming, "I got the moss!" though it was muffled, due to the moss being carried in her jaws. She set it down next to Shadecreek, her eyes catching the battered Mintpaw. "Did he get attacked as well?" Her eyes widened.

Pouncestone-Camp-Open
Pouncestone watched all the commotion as he worked to ensure the camp stayed safe. His fur fluffed up a bit seeing all the injured cats coming in, his tail twitchingnin alarm when Frecklecloud brought Mintpaw. Glancing to the entrance of camp, Thiatlestar sent the kits out there to fight the badger!? The tom felt guilty that he hadn't chosen to go out and help, maybe it would have prevented the kits from being in harms way. Shaking out his head there was nothing he could do about it now.

Mintpaw stirred in the nest, the young tom throwing up. He scrambled to his paws only to collapse. The young apprentice whimpering in pain, as pain flared in his injuried leg. He didn't know where he was that added to the tom's distress. He was struggling to recall what had happened, all he could remember was leaving camp. He whimpered, he wanted his mom she always made things better when he had been hurt when he had still been a kit. Mintpaw struggled to stay awake, as he was already about to pass out once more.

 Pebblepaw felt the weight of Cedarstorms assurances land firmly on his conscious, but instead of lightening his guilt, it only seemed heavier. Cedarstorm was right- he wasn't ready to battle an elemental badger. But he was an apprentice, not a kit! He has been training for a little over a moon, and yet some days he felt as though Mintkit and Stoatkit were accomplishing more than he was! He barely registered the tom's surly acceptance for his help, just dipped his head in acknowledgement and began to follow. At that moment, Mintpaw was brought into camp. Pebblepaw's breath caught as Frecklecloud lay the small frail body on the ground in front of them. Starclan no... it was all happening too fast- just heartbeats before he was catching fish with Shadecreek, and now.... was his littermate going to die? He looked to Cedarstorm, listening to him give orders, before rushing towards the camp exit with him. Pebblepaw could do nothing for his clanmates medicinally, but at the very least he could assist with the herbs needed to try and heal them. He let Cedarstorm take the lead-realizing he was quite clueless as to where the best herbs were- and followed him at a quick pace.

 Waspfang had risen to his paws shakily moments before, and watched as his clanmates pummeled the badger back. Darkwhisper appeared successful in reaching the badger's vulnerable eyes, as did Shatterfrost, for the badger was all too distracted by Oriolehop's water blast. Waspfang crouched, preparing for attack, when the badger let out an agonized wail- the tom's had succeeded in their attack. Waspfang gave a hiss and sent one last seismic crack racing towards the badger, who was then thrown even more off-balance and fell to the ground.
 With a final cry of begrudging defeat, the badger retreated. Blood fell from gashes in its face, its flank, and it's hindquarters. Its fur was soaked from water and burned from fire, and its claws were cracked and twisted from the several earth attacks. The badger stumbled once, twice, then finally pushed its way through the reeds surrounding the pond. It cast one last glance back at the Ivyclan warriors, it's beady eyes full of hate, before it disappeared past the rolling hills, heading west out of Ivyclan territory.
