 Patchpaw Badger Attack
With Tansypool, Ember34 ; Shatterfrost, Dark ; and Oriolehop, Sand
 Lizardeye nodded a goodbye as Ebonywhisker excused herself, then closed her eyes, appreciating the comfort of her mate. He was right. Dapplesky was probably fine, and surely at this point enough warriors had been dispatched to ensure the safety of any cat that was originally fighting. "If these old bones would let me, I'd be racing through the forest right now to find her." At least her father, Oriolehop, was on the fighting patrol. If Dapplesky was in trouble, Lizardeye knew he would make sure she was brought to safety.
 Pebblepaw let out a whimper as he saw the medicine cats rushing over. He backed away from Shadecreek's form slightly, allowing them to do their duties, but still stayed within eyeshot of Shadecreek. "Will he be alright?" He whispered, locking eyes with Hollyfeather. His legs threatened to tremble. Shadecreek couldn't die!
(Feeling too lazy to write a Waspfang post, but he's still battling lol. I may write one up after breakfast. You guys feel free to have the badger attack in whatever way you want, I don't have to be the only one controlling it  ) |

Shatterfrost w/ Patrol- bluewonder; Ember34; SandUpon spotting the badger, Shatterfrost darted over to help, sending a blast of ice toward the large creature. It turned its head toward him briefly, and he sank his claws into the ground, baring his teeth. Oatstream w/ Lizardeye- bluewonderOatstream let out a small chuckle. "I know you would, don't worry." In an effort to distract Lizardeye from the situation, he added, "Would you want to find a sunny spot near our den to help our clanmates guard the camp?" A purr rumbled from his throat. Hollyfeather w/ Pebblepaw & Shadecreek- bluewonder; JunospowerBefore answering the apprentice, Hollyfeather closely inspected Shadecreek's wounds. She looked up and met Pebblepaw's worried gaze. "With enough rest, cobweb, and marigold, he should be fine," she meowed calmly. The problem is, we might not have enough right now. She snatched one of the last bundles of cobweb from the storage and started binding it over the spots that were the most severe. "He'll probably have to stay in the medicine den for a while, but he'll be okay." The molly noted that Shadecreek was still breathing, which sent a wave of relief in her chest.

Mintpaw-Badger Attack-Fighting Patrol
Mintpaw was exhausted by the time he had caught up to Frecklecloud. He froze seeing how big the badger was, a whimper escaping him. He glanced to Frecklecloud, waiting to see what his mentor was going to do. He pressed close to the ground trying to stay hidden best he could.
Tansypool-Badger Attack-Fighting Patrol
Tansypool took a breath to steel his nerves, before sending a blade of air current at the badger to knock it off balance for one of his clanmates to be able to lay a strike of their own. His tail flicking as he sent out another attack aiming closer at the badger's paws, knocking the badger onto its side.

Greenthorn shook his head, teeth digging into the badger's throat. He tried to ignore the pain as his side was hit by the beast

(since bluewonder said I could start with Darkwhisper here I'm gonna do just that. Also having Stoatpaw here since Waspfang was suggested as her mentor)
Darkwhisper - Badger Attack - Fighting Patrol
Darkwhisper stepped up beside Tansypool and sent a blade of air current of his own at the badger, timing his attack with Tansypool's so it hit the badger right after the first one. He briefly glanced over at the apprentices, making sure they were staying out of harms way, and then sent another blade of wind at the badger.
Stoatpaw - Badger Attack - Fighting Patrol
Stoatpaw crouched low, trying to catch her breath after running so far, and watched the badger carefully. She crept backwards a little but then stopped when she bumped into Mintpaw. She quickly looked over at him, mouthing a silent apology, and then turned her attention towards the ongoing battle again. Focusing on the ground beneath her she tried to create a small wall. It wasn't much but she hoped it would be enough to hide her at least a little bit.

Mintpaw jumped and looked to Stoatpaw. The tom nodded to her as he quickly gave himself a few links to clam himself seeing it was a clanmate. Seeing the warriors fight Mintpaw slowly pushed himself to start creeping towards the badger. Maybe he would be able to make things up to Thistlestar by being able to help fight the badger!

 Angry Badger (lol saw this pic on the internet and couldn't resist)
(By all intents this badger should have given up by now, but I'm gonna let it get a few more blows in before I retire her bc I want everyone to get a chance to fight a lil hahaha)  With multiple cats and the Angry Badger
Waspfang was hit by a forepaw as the badger barreled past him towards his clanmates, sending him flying off to the side. He lay there for a moment, wind knocked out of him.

Greenthorn fell to the ground, his grip loosening as he tried to catch his breath. His gaze stayed on the badger, trying to force himself back to his feet as continue the attack.
Specklecloud sent more blasts at it, trying to damage it where she could. She hadn't noticed Mintpaw getting closer, having told the young cat to remain back and she trusted he would listen.

Stoatpaw - Badger Attack - Fighting Patrol
Stoatpaw ducked a bit lower, still watching the warriors fight the badger. She turned towards Mintpaw, only to realize that he was creeping towards it. With a hard glare she shook her head at him. Surely he wasn't crazy enough to actually want to fight that creature. While she also didn't think much of just hiding away and letting the warriors deal with it on their own she also knew that neither she nor her littermate would be of any use, especially if they tried to attack it up close. Before she could say anything she felt the ground shake. She quickly turned towards the badger, just as it ran into the warriors. With a low hiss she jumped back and then leaped to the side to get out of the way, even though the badger wasn't close enough yet. She glanced over her shoulder, hissing for Mintpaw to follow her, and then shot a small blast of earth towards the badger, aiming for its eyes. From where she stood however it didn't get all the way there, her attack hitting the badger in the chest instead.
Darkwhisper - Badger Attack - Fighting Patrol
Darkwhisper dodged to the side and began to move around quickly, shooting more blades of air at the badger. The quaking earth made him stumble but he kept moving, trying to draw the badger's attention so those who were too thrown off by the quakes could get their bearings

Tansypool-Badger Attack-Fighting Patrol
Tansypool was knocked off his paws from the quake. But managed to find his paws, seeing Darkwhisper, he went the opposite direction of the other tom and launched some of his own blades of air, to aid in getting the badger distracted so others could collect themselves.
Mintpaw-Badger Attack-Fighting Patrol
Mintoaw pushed himself back to his paws, shaking, ignoring Stoatpaw, he tried to get himself to move closer. His mind screamed at him to run but he choose to tune it out, and moved closer towards the badger taking advantage of what the air warriors were doing. But his attention was soon being drawn towards the world's best thing,....a leaf. The tom tried to keep an eye on the badger, but the leaf...he couldn't resist pawing at the object.

Cedarstorm medicine cat den — accompanied by: Hollyfeather, Shadecreek & Pebblepaw  Cedarstorm had nodded to Thistlestar when she had poked her head in, letting them know there were wounded warriors. When he and Hollyfeather heard a thud, they found out it was Shadecreek with Pebblepaw escorting him.
While Hollyfeather checked out the black tom's injuries, he watched and listened intently. It was obvious that Shadecreek had bled heavily and was not feeling well. After all, he had fainted, but as long as he was breathing, everything would be alright. His injuries were treatable.
"No need to worry, Pebblepaw. Hollyfeather will take good care of Shadecreek," he meowed to the apprentice. "Do you have any injuries?"
He made eye contact with the other medicine cat, knowing that Tinypaw was inside the den. The tabby padded closer to the white and grey she-cat. "Hollyfeather, it may be best for me to leave now for the herbs. We need them," he whispered in a low voice. "Are you fine with me leaving? Tinypaw can help you out."

Oriolehop was with the cats who were fighting the badger. He was about to conjure an ice blast until he noticed Stoatpaw and Mintpaw. The two littermates were far too young to be fighting the massive badger. It appeared Stoatpaw didn't want her littermate near the creature which made sense. However, neither of them should be involved in the fight at all. He knew neither kits were his, but Oriolehop was a protective feline; it was in his instinct to stop and keep them far away from the badger. He would have done the same for Dapplesky if she were here.
"Mintpaw, Stoatpaw!" he called, sprinting towards the two apprentices. He slid up next to the pair. "Get behind me! Now."
In the meantime, the ginger and white tabby tom forced a blast of ice towards the elemental badger. He hoped Stoatpaw and Mintpaw wouldn't get in the way.

One of its massive paws swung at him and clipped his flank, causing him to stumble. He felt blood well up where the badger had struck him, but ignored it. Hollyfeather w/ Cedarstorm, Shadecreek & Pebblepaw- Sand; Junospower; bluewonderThe molly nodded. "I'll be fine here. We desperately need herbs as soon as possible." She glanced at Pebblepaw. "And maybe some thyme to help with Pebblepaw's shock."

Stoatpaw - Badger Attack - Fighting Patrol
Stoatpaw staggered back after having launched her attack. The small blast of earth wasn't very strong, the badger probably didn't even feel it. This really wasn't a fight she was ready for. At Oriolehop's shout she spun around and nodded. Stoatpaw quickly leaped over to Mintpaw and briefly grabbed his tail in her teeth, yanking at it to get Mintpaw to stop getting distracted by that Starclan-forsaken leaf. Then she ran over to Oriolehop, dropping down behind him and watching the fight from there, already exhausted from running and using her powers twice.

Shadecreek - In Camp - Dark ; bluewonder ; SandWith effort, Shadecreek stretched himself forward to lick up the seed. The risked looking around the camp, seeing it practically empty and with no sign of his sister from what he could see. He could see that his apprentice was still beside him, giving him some relief. |

The badger swung it's head around as it continued to charge around in a blind rage, trying to dodge the numerous attacks. The small form of Mintpaw was barely perceptible to the badger in the onslaught of oncoming attacks, and though Stoatpaw had grabbed his tail, the badger swiped a huge claw-laden forepaw at Mintpaw, slapping him out of her path with a much force as she could muster. To her, it was like removing a pesky flea, and she continued charging without another thought. She turned her beady eyes to Stoatpaw and Oriolehop, preparing for an attack on them next.

Mossyleap was sitting in the clearing, her eyes never leaving her brother as Hollyfeather took care of him. She inhaled sharply when she noticed the slight movement that Shadecreek made. Ignoring what she thought earlier, the molly rushed over and exclaimed, "Shadecreek!" |

Mintpaw-Badger Attack-Fighting Patrol
Mintpaw's attention from.the wonderful leaf got drawn away by the yank on his tail. Looking to Stoatpaw and seeing her treating towards Oriolehop, he never saw how close the badger had gotten to him till it was too late. The young tom cried out as he got hit, his small body getting flung back by the force of the blow, a small crack coming from his body as he hit the ground, a whimper coming from him as he tried and failed to get himself back up.

Pebblepaw blinked his thanks at Hollyfeather before watching her go to work on Shadecreek's wounds. He licked Shadecreek's paw, a small gesture of comfort. When Cedarstorm asked about his own injuries, he shook his head vigorously. "No. I... I hid for most of it. I was a coward." The words came out softly, barely perceptible, but they clawed his heart as he said them. He hung his head, ashamed, until he overheard the second part of Cedarstorm's words. "I can help you look for herbs!" He insisted. Anything to help his mentor recover. "I don't need thyme, I promise. I'm okay. Please let me help you. You.... you have to let me!" He looked to Shadecreek, who's eyes seemed so full of pain. He had to make it up to his mentor. If he had been a decent apprentice, none of this would have happened.

"Mintpaw!"Frecklcloud ran over to the young apprentice, checking him over. She very gently picked him up by the scruff before running back to camp. She wasn't going to loose Mintpaw while he was under her care

With a yowl Darkwhisper whipped around and leapt, conjuring an air current to enhance his jump so he could land square on the badger's back. Immediately he dug his claws in so the badger wouldn't be able to throw him off too easily. He moved his front paws a little to get them closer to the badger's head, hoping to reach its eyes once he crept close enough.
Stoatpaw - Badger Attack - Fighting Patrol
Stoatpaw winced as the badger flung Mintpaw aside and climbed to her paws, ready to run over to him. Maybe she could create another wall of earth but she doubted that it would be enough to protect them both. Even her first one before hadn't been very impressive. Before she could make any decision though she saw the badger turning towards her and Oriolehop. Ducking behind the warrior she tried to focus on the ground again, hoping to manage to throw another small blast of earth at the badger
