Medicine Cat Code
The Medicine Cat code is a set of laws that establishes a cat as a Medicine Cat. Separate from the Warrior Code, Medicine Cats are able to traverse beyond Clan rivalries and borders to travel to the Moonstone, assist other Clans in their medical treatments, and conduct safe trade agreements of herbs between each other if desired. Medicine Cats who break the code harshly enough will have their connection to Starclan severed, and will be required to step down or be exiled to the Clan Leader's discretion. A Medicine Cat is expected to see every cat in the clan as an equal, and therefore is denied the opportunity to show favoritism by taking on a mate or having kits while holding the position.
I. A Medicine Cat may not take on a mate or have kits
II. A Medicine Cat serves all members of the Clan equally
III. A Medicine Cat may not allow personal feelings to stand in the way of their duties to the Clans.
IV. A Medicine Cat is outside of Clan rivalries, but may still learn to defend themselves in the case of attack.
V. A Medicine Cat must be able to interpret signs from Starclan, and swear to serve Starclan's will through themselves.
VI. A Medicine Cat cannot turn away a sick or injured cat, no matter what Clan that cat resides from.
VII. A Medicine Cat must be willing to put their life on the line to defend the sick and weak.
VIII. A Medicine Cat may have trained as a Warrior prior to taking the position, and may retire from their position if they believe their apprentice is capable of taking their place.
**(This code is not canonized in the series, but is merely for the use of the FiveClan RP!)**

Talk about a big presence! Beyond her massive size, Peachdapple's heart certainly fits her body, large enough to share her love with every cat in Thunderclan, perhaps even beyond that if her training of Riverclan's medicine cat is any indication! She began her training as a Warrior apprentice, but supposedly Mossfeather's prodding combined with Starclan revealing that she was barren combined to influence her to train in the ways of the Medicine Cat. Her courage, powerful faith, and understanding of mental wounds equal to that of physical wounds make her as warm and welcoming as she is large and imposing. While she never denied her affections for Lightningstar, she never acted upon them in accordance to the Medicine Cat Code, and she cares for each cat with an equal amount of attention. Her wisdom is beneficial, and she serves as Thunderclan's longest running Medicine Cat. It is believed that she has a path set in place for her, and perhaps out of anyone, Peachdapple is best suited to brunt her path until the very end.

Foxstep Windclan benefitted greatly from this crucial member of their core leadership. Foxstep's wisdom and dominance made her hard to disobey, though she never acted with anything but the Clan's best interest in her actions. Foxstep often calmed Wolfstar's temper during her time as his medicine cat, though she had served as Willowstar's medicine cat before him. Nothing seemed to phase her, and such a grounded demeanor made her a beacon of safety, respected by all who she healed and served. Her death was sudden, struck by the same illness that had taken Windclan's deputy when a wind vortex tore across the territory. Perhaps Starclan set her free, before she could suffer a worse death within the violent storm. While her skills were hailed, it is believed that it was actually her training Brownfur that was her greatest achievement.
Strengths: Control, Confidence, Wisdom, Intelligence Weaknesses: Frailty and Apathy.
Trained: Brownfur
Brownfur Perhaps Brownfur's greatest feat was the brilliant connection he held with Starclan, born to become a medicine cat and interpret each sway of the breeze, each flutter of a bird's wing. Brownfur prophesized the coming of the wind vortexes that plagued Windclan, and while he suffered greatly from his skittish demeanor and social anxiety, he could map out a cat's purpose and path as easily as one might catch a rabbit. Brownfur played a crucial part in defining the lengths of a medicine cat's spiritual abilities, and in turn knowing when to trust his intuition. But perhaps with so much natural ability in his paws, it served as much to his deterioration as it did to his power. Brownfur's frailty and fearfulness made him physically weakened. The love he held for his apprentices was always evident though, and he served as an exceptional guide for Wolfstar, Scarstar, and his eventual successor, Silverjay.
