Sounds like a good day so far! And looks like it'll get even better. So you'll be getting some books, huh? One can never have too many of those!

Yay, excited to see 'em when they're finished. And to try and imagine how they'd get along with my idiots xD

Yup, it definitely sucks. Even more because he thinks he should be completely indifferent to it and that it's dumb of him to feel conflicted about fighting her because they didn't grow up together. So he'll avoid talking about any of his concerns, not wanting to bother the others with something 'ridiculous' like that
Oh, and he figures out her true identity without her having to reveal it. After his first encounter with Jarún he wonders why she seems to hate him specifically and also notices that she feels deeply hurt and betrayed for some reason. He tries and fails to ignore it and soon begins to try and make sense of it. At first he can't think of anyone he knows and who would hate him so much but over time he hears some stuff about Jarún. Some from others who have fought her, some from Elusian soldiers and some from Fáelán once he joins the good guys. Eventually Marceau has enough information to piece things together. At first he thinks it's absurd but he also can't deny the possibility. And when he confronts Jarún he secretly hopes that she'll just laugh him and tell him he must be insane for coming up with something like that.
As for afterwards, he's mainly concerned about whether he should tell his parents or not. She's their daughter and they have a right to know she's alive of course but it'd be awful for them to know that she's firmly on the enemy's side. If they knew who she is they'd just feel like they have lost their daughter twice, especially if they got their hopes up about her joining the good guys. So Marceau really doesn't want to tell them what he knows to spare their feelings but at the same time he thinks it's wrong to keep this a secret. Oh, and he'll eventually have to kill her so it'll be even more awkward after that, whether he told his parents or not.
As for Maéva herself, she's not happy about her brother figuring it out. She wants to wait for the best time to do her dramatic reveal and before she can do that he just tells her that he knows who she is. Makes her even more angry at him, she believes that her parents no longer care about her and that her brother stole her birthright and their parent's love from her and now he even ruins her big moment. Like "Dude, you couldn't at least let me have this?". To make things worse, before that (and before he realizes who she is) Marceau kills Vardan in battle. You know, Fiore's father and Maéva's father figure. Without knowing who this man is to her, of course. So yeah, he just keeps taking things from her without meaning to

Man, I love being mean to my characters xD My Engage ones and my Houses ones. Some get it worse than others but almost everyone gets a little bad stuff now xD Anyway, it's definitely your fault, Ember. Your insistence on making your characters suffer has made me a bit less hesitant to be mean to mine xD

And yeah, Neason would totally do the fence one. Marceau better not let Maylis have that Emblem ring, even if it's just for hanging out at the Somniel. She and Neason can't be left unsupervised. But it makes for a fun mental image. Maylis and Emblem Neason about to do something incredible dumb, taking "having no common sense" to a whole new level while Marceau and Emblem Searc try their hardest to keep them in line xD Searc even less successful than Marceau because of how Neason and Searc's emblem ring works

I like that logic, better from family than some random person telling them. And I also love that for Hias and him, would help further show the type of friendship the pair have

Good, Callan's is the one I'm most excited to see, everyone suffers, I do think the eagles are the ones that get it a bit easier just from how like you said no one knew the real Adora

Cjksnrri oms that's right I was gonna have them kill one of their siblings, but yea def would be how Hias goes about bringing it up towards Marceau on telling his parents, but as for the other sibling I feel Hias would ask for someone else to handle them since thyme would still be dealing with the guilt and grief of killing the first sibling, and would be dealing with the guilt of it could be partially their fault their siblings joined a cult

Looks like a cinnamon roll but could actually kill you, would he interesting if you go to path of having classmates figure it first as it could go to show how close they are or something. Yea it would be like you said a mix of emotions

That's very valid to want to do it yourself so you don't take out things on someone else if they do it, but yea Hias just wouldn't be able to bring themself to kill their other sibling

I like Ivora and Tiyani, but nothing wrong with that I think majority are female anyone in the culture with my two girls, and also having a non Binary that just vibes in the cult, so like just a cult full of girls waiting for a deadly dragon to be given full power and the few non Binary and men they allowed to join to show they aren't excluding people from joining the great fell dragon cult

Jewel would be confused at first and would want to try talk her family out of being followers, but would probably be willing to kill them if there is no other choice and would try to talk to others after the fact to get help with her

Oh for sure, there will be some situations that it would be welcomed but yea once you get to the I'm a bloodthirsty maniac who lives to be on the battlefield than you need to have a talk cause there are limits

For mine Yanser/Kerah/Jewel would for sure give into the chaos, hias/ajax/Ralston would follow after searc, everyone else I'm not sure

That would probably be helpful. Not the same as a real fight as there's no danger but it still might be good enough. I already plan for Callan to participate in some of the smaller tournaments at Garreg Mach (when it's for swords, knives and magic), mainly so he can gain some extra gold so he can keep the wyvern he trains with, so that's definitely an option too. And yup, his classmates will most likely notice his thrill seeking and violent tendencies once they begin to take root but still early enough to prevent this from becoming something that can't be fixed. Our Deer may all have a few issues but they do stick together and look out for one another

Plenty of chaos then xD Imagine Maylis teaming up with Neason and Kerah with Larissa. And the four of them working together. And everyone else who enjoys the chaos will do their best to make sure that no one stops those idiots

Yea, he starts out completely normal and unless he's next to someone with less than half of their normal hp he's smart and sensible but that goes out the window once he starts to become obsessed with battle. I mean, we did say that those who become a riding or flying class later on but don't have a horse/pegasus/wyvern of their own can buy the ones they're training with and since they're students and therefore do chores and go on missions (so working for the monastery) they won't even have to pay too much. Some just want to earn some extra money though so they can afford their animal even sooner. Sure, those who have already bonded with an animal will get to keep training with it and taking it on missions but it's just nice to know it's already officially yours. And Callan definitely wants to make sure he gets to keep his buddy Zephyr as soon as possible. Natalie is also someone who doesn't have an animal for her final class yet. While her family owns and breeds pegasi she didn't take one of those, she wants to become a riding class instead. She'll befriend one of the horses at Garreg Mach and as a noble she might even be able to afford it already. I think you said Elara will also get her mount at the monastery. I think it would be one of the pegasi there since you listed Dark Flier for her

Yup, she is and she'd totally do that xD She hates bullies after all and will hunt them for sport. Hawk girl will beat the crap out of them. Spies and criminals get death and bullies get fear and humiliation

Just like in the game. You see an animal and "yoink, mine now!" Zinara will both love the cats and also be a bit jealous of them because of how they get all the attention xD

Even better, have Searc be among those who tell him that he's taking this too far. Seeing that Searc himself is thinking like that too will definitely make this kid realize that yup, he may have a problem xD
Yea, I guess it is ^^ Once he befriends one of the wyverns (he'll start bonding with it during the second month) he'll quickly decides to volunteer for some extra chores and signs up for tournaments that focus on magic (and later swords and knives) because damn, he wants to be this wyvern's official owner right now so he knows for sure that he can keep him! And yay, Elara getting a pegasus. Since pegasi and horses share the stables she and Natalie can hang out there sometimes so they both can befriend their future animal

Yea, best feline for cuddles. Sure, Jewel and Bijou are bigger than the little cats too but Zinara is just much more spoiled and affectionate xD I mean, Bijou probably wouldn't mind some cuddles either but he's more about impressing others with his stunning fur, he prefers to be looked at and admired rather than touched

Hell yeah xD Just having him agree with the others or point it out himself. Either way, it's the best way to get the point across because yup, if Searc is concerned about your battlehungry tendencies you've really crossed a line
They only have to make sure that Néo isn't hanging out at the stables when they want to see the horses and pegasi xD And yup, of course the kids will want the animal they've spent the most time with. The church probably knows that and it's another reason why they make sure that even students who don't come from a rich family are able to keep the animal they've trained with so much by the end of the year by giving them plenty of opportunities to raise some extra gold and by not making them as expensive as most breeders across the continent do

Cute lynx-cat is cute after all. Out of my good guys most wouldn't be able to say no to them if the kitty wanted something. Astor is fully immune, Marceau and Bijou can resist their cuteness for a while (but will eventually throw the lynx a freshly caught eel) and Féalán is nervous around cats and other felines, including laguz. He doesn't dislike them though. As for those who could never say no to Zinara Orion is the one who loves to pet the lynx the most. He's more of a dog person (Sommie is his absolute favorite) but he also can't resist a cute mewling kitty looking for cuddles

Exactly xD Though even before he shows signs of enjoying fighting too much Searc has a reason to get on his case. His personal skill can make him do pretty stupid things, after all. And while it won't be too bad at first (Callan still shows plenty of common sense during the first missions and even if his skill gets triggered the enemies aren't too dangerous) it's just not a good way to fight the assassins during the Blue Sea Moon mission. Attacking them mindlessly while neglecting defense and not avoiding their attacks is not how you should fight them. But if Searc does have something to say about it Callan would not think too much of it, that guy doesn't take care of himself either so why should he listen to that hypocrite? But yeah, if Searc critizises him for his bloodlust during the later missions the kid will definitely realize that something's really wrong
Yea, wyverns, pegasi and horses becoming a bit cheaper for the students, first after Blue Sea Moon, then after Verdant Rain Moon and finally after Guardian Moon. And every time it's because the previous month was probably traumatizing so you deserve something good also don't tell anyone, it wouldn't be good for the church if word got out about any of this

Fiore and Ivora are firmly on Team 'Pluto is a planet', Maéva doesn't care much either way but she's on that side too, and Faélán is on 'not a planet' both because it's what he believes and to spite Fiore

And if anyone's surprised that she goes after this thing, she'll just have to say that surely there's a criminal hiding in a costume. No good person would walk around in something this hideous and offensive. Yes, it's an insult to all birds! Astor no longer only goes after criminals, spies and bullies, now she also puts 'anyone who's a disgrace to birds' on the list! And no killing the latest addition, death is too good for those people! She just flies off with them and abandons them somewhere in the mountains. Pretend to be a bird? Well, you can leave this mountain anytime by flying, right?

Zinara could steal all the eel from anyone who's fishing, stand in the middle off a fish pile and eat them all and even then the lynx is totally innocent, someone must have planted all the eel here to make it look like Zinara stole them, lies and slander, how dare you etc.

Especially since Searc kept protecting Neason during the Garland Moon Mission so who does he think he is to criticise Callan for also protecting his classmates during the next mission? Aside from the fact that Searc didn't nearly get himself killed doing so (that's for way later xD), such a hypocrite smh
True, both Blue Sea Moon and Verdant Rain Moon are missions only concerning the monastery so since the students aren't out helping the people of the three nations they won't get much gold if at all. But yea, don't worry, you get a discount on those animals if you want one, weapons will be cheaper for the next month and class won't be as demanding for a while so you guys can work through your trauma

I love his and Fiore's dynamic for when they are still forced to work together xD Fiore loves to bully Fáelán and in turn Fáelán has picked up the hobby of mocking Fiore and disagreeing with them at every turn
