So based in the grand world of Engage, we included laguz Lythos and Elusia: House the dragon laguz, as the tribe seperated with half following the fell dragona nd the other half following the divine dragon Cat Laguz; includes cat/tiger/lion and other kitty cat kinds reside in solm Wolf Laguz: reside on the small islands of the world, some members have branched off to explore Elyos Bird Laguz: Ravens, Hawks, Ravens reside in Brodia None are solely from Firene but it is a country that the laguz go to if they want to settle down outside of their tribe Pineclaw The form made by Pineclaw Name | Age | Gender | Country | Class | Physical Description | Personality | Likes: | Dislikes | Hobbies: | Talents: | History | Other | Screen Name | Plot: The rings have been a thing amongst the kingdoms ever since the creation of Elyos. Lythos housing 6 of the 12 rings, and giving one to each kingdom, however Solm and Firene had recieved a second unknowst to Brodia and Elusia. After the great war between the divine dragon and the fell dragon, and the fell dragon being sealed away, peace was amongst the land. But now a cult, that worships the fell dragon in the land of Elusia, seeks the rings to bring the fell dragon back to power, unbeknownst to all outside the cult, the fell child aiding them. The dragon child now sets on a quest to retrieve all the rings before the cult can get their hands on them, to try prevent the resurrection of the fell dragon. We only need to make sure everyone keeps doggo safe during battle. Or Ralston is like *opens portal to Somniel* "Go take a walk and enjoy yourself buddy, we'll get you right after we beat those bandits!"
And yeah, having a Fell Child beside the Fell Dragon would be great!
Do you already know where your emblems will be? I know Tahvo is the one hidden in Brodia but that's it. And I guess Vincent could be one of those entrusted to some country's royal family, or a second ring the royals know about in the case of Firene and Solm

and yea either sommie is protected in fights, could paly into how he gives support when you do work outs and he can provide support, just boosts a few stats of the person he is near, or yea, ralston just open the portal and tells sommie to stay safe and that he will come back
hmm, Orryn will be the hidden one in elusia, imrie will be the ring entrusted to brodia royal family, and neason/searc they can be a ring of firene the royals know about if thats ight with you

Yea, Sommie could probably give support but it's not entirely safe for him. So yeah, let him stay at the Somniel for the battles. He can support the squad whenever they want to train though!
Sounds good! Either the twins are the ring that's in Firene's castle or it's the other one the royal family knows about. I think I prefer the former. And Vincent can be the second ring. Larissa can be one of Solm's emblem rings, don't really care if its one the royal family knows about or not
Also, we might also want to figure out who gets to wear an Emblem ring. Out of my characters definitely Marceau and Fáelán. Not sure about the third one, maybe Kirat or Maylis. Or, if Spark joins and picks Luca, then probably Calais since they're a dancer and would benefit the most from him

Sure, having him join for easier stuff sounds good! As for being send away for the more dangerous missions, Ralston will just explore the area after such battles and pick up some stuff to give to Sommie "sorry we had to send you away, here's your favorite fruit though!"
I'll definitely need to know which Emblem, besides Orryn, is in Elusia and which ones they find before our squad does so I can figure out which one Fáelán steals and gives to our good guys. Marceau will probably have to deal with Neason and Searc since that's the ring from the castle. Either he keeps it or lets someone else use it and wears a different one. And we already said that Kerah gets Tahvo. I think that's all we have for now
And oh no, I just realized... we'll also need to come up with titles for the rings and emblems and their invocations xD Like Ring of the ___, Emblem of ___ and that kind of stuff

Now I wonder if the other royals have an animal or laguz they can spoil. Ralston has his doggo and Vigran has their kitty retainer/support lynx. Pets could be left at the Somniel, they'd just have to ask Ralston if they are allowed to let their pets live there for a while xD Or they have a close bond with whatever riding animal they have. Marceau will get to pair up with a laguz (one of the stronger ones, like a dragon or lion) so maybe he could spoil them a little And I love that xD Especially with animals and laguz that don't have wings. But it would also be hilarious with the dragons. "Did you just call the Divine Dragon and their child birds?!" He'll just have to put up with that xD And it would work well for him, having their emblem ring. He uses swords and bows so he would greatly benefit from Neason and Searc I will try to come up with potential names and such for my three emblems. Later. Not today and probably not this weekend xD Getting my replies up for our three houses rp and filling out the joining form for my characters in this rp takes priority!

Okay ^^ I'll let you know when I know what I'll call my royal's base class (and its promotion). I guess if I have no idea I could just go with the generic 'Noble' or 'Lord', like how in Engage the royals of Firene and Brodia had those as their base classes respectively
Also, I just had a super dumb idea and it's probably better if it's something we will not do xD The ring that's being kept in Solm's palace? Its fate is even worse than being kept in the doodad drawer. Sometimes it was taken out of the drawer, got a string tied to it and was misused as a cat toy. It's an emblem ring after all, it can withstand anything xD Yea, we better not do that, just a weird image that suddenly popped into my head
But speaking of cats, I think one of Zinara's parents works as a palace guard. Or both of them do. The mom is a regular lynx laguz and the dad is a cat laguz. He has the same fur as the Solmic Cats in the game. You know, those with the beautiful leopard pattern. Not that it's relevant, Zinara's beastform is a lynx after all so they don't have their dad's pretty fur. Just some little trivia about the cats

Alright, fine xD That poor emblem though, having served as a toy for Zinara and some other kitty cats. That emblem will be pretty awkward around them and the royal family after being summoned
I thing sometimes they jokingly wish they had gotten more traits from their dad, especially in terms of appearance because solmic cats are just super pretty and cute xD As for the beastforms of Zinara and their mother, I think they look like a mix between Eurasian and Iberian lynxes. The former because that's my favorite lynx and the latter because those might be better suited for a place like Solm xD
But now that I'm thinking of what those beastforms may look like I better figure out what kind of hawk I want Astor to be. I already mentioned once that Ronera's dragon form looks like her father's (a red dragon) but is a bit bulkier. As for Fáelán, I think I'll give him black fur
I mean, at least they are good at that xD Telling all kinds of birds apart. But yeah, this assassin is something else. Knows so much about birds but somehow thinks other animals are birds too
Oooh, both solutions sound good! I do like them wearing a glove but them being a dope archer sounds cool too! And paired up with our lynx they'd be pretty dangerous, one using arrows and the other using claws. Maybe it can be a bit of both? Vigran does use gloves but ditches them at some point?

I think I'm gonna name Marceau's personal class 'Regulus'. Both because it means 'prince' or 'little king' and because of the constellation Leo. Its a riding class and I probably don't have to say that he's paired with a lion laguz for it. So I guess a lion rider using swords and bows, just with a different name for it because royals have their own unique classes xD And yup, they really do. Especially because therapists don't seem to exist. If we get Emblem Philomel that would be helpful but if we don't or if it takes a while to get him then Hias and Searc can still talk to each other about their issues Sounds good xD Bonus points for if those two saw some of the group's emblems in action before but thanks to denial they just didn't make the connection and are surprised when Ralston actually summons an emblem from that ring Also filled out some more weird stuff xD

Yay ^^ And yeah, I was wondering about that. Whether their class has a unique name or if you stick to Lynx Rider (which works too of course). And yup, Kerah better not find out about it xD Not that Marceau would get too offended, just even more annoyed with the raven
He'd just have to clarify that Desai is his bio dad and plant dad his real dad. And that if he talks shit about his father he's always referring to the former
Depending on who the emblem is this could be slightly awkward but forgotten pretty quick or something the emblem never lets them live down xD
Yeah, good thing the kitty does that xD They can be serious and threatening if necessary and dealing with a threatening phone call from a villain is definitely one of those times
Oh, and I totally forgot something about the laguz. I looked at the wiki again to double check and yup, not exactly a happy thing. They're all gonna outlive our humans. Apparently cat laguz have an average life expectancy of 204 years, tigers have one of 192 years, lions 180 years. No idea how old wolf laguz can get, it doesn't say that. They still live longer than humans. Hawks can live up to 207 years, ravens 210 years and herons 300. Dragons live even longer, but that's to be expected. Red Dragons live 1002 years on average, White Dragons 1050 years and Black Dragons 1020. So yeah, sucks to be them. Now I wonder how much our laguz think about the fact that they will outlive their friends

yea probably, and only time hes referring to plant dad is when hes complaining about not getting to do something, which is natural for a kid to do
we adore the kitty, they fight they attack but most importantly they are to cute to be mad at

Oh, speaking of classes, did you mean to write Sage Knight for Dalvani or was that meant to be Mage Knight (like Levia is)? I don't remember it being listed anywhere when I looked up all the canon classes in Engage so I guess it's a new one for the rp. If it is, sounds cool! We can definitely add a new class or two, even for those who aren't royalty! Our squad may not know Searc as well as the other emblems do but even they can tell when he's talking about plant dad and when about worst dad. Those with good parents can probably relate when he complains xD Yup, and they use it to their full advantage. I don't think many of my characters could stay mad at the lynx, only Astor is fully immune xD And Fiore I guess but they are a villain so of course they hate on our squad, no matter how cute someone is Yea, dragons really have it even worse! As for the other laguz, yup. And depending on what Brodia's royal is like Kerah is gonna miss them too, being their retainer and all For my characters, I believe Ronera hasn't really thought about it much yet, she's only lived among dragons so far after all and never had to think about the fact that humans and other non-dragons have shorter lifespans. She'll get reminded of it when she sees an old human (just some random villager) and from then on she'll value her time with the squad even more, knowing that their time together is limited.
Astor is a bit reluctant to befriend any humans when she joins because she knows they don't live as long as laguz do. She'll try to keep her distance at first but gives up eventually, not wanting to miss out on bonding with them just because she'll outlive them. It's definitely on her mind most of the time though.
Zinara is very much aware that they'll outlive Vigran and the other humans but right now they don't let that get them down. The lynx thinks about it sometimes but it doesn't stop them from focusing on the present, they want happy memories to look back on after all. Fáelán doesn't think about it for the most part, simply because he's too focused on proving his loyalty to the squad and dealing with the fact that his family and former friends are his enemy now. There's just too much going on for him. He'll start to think about it when someone asks him about it though |

Ralston tries to not think of it, and tends to not even take into account when he makes friendships with others, that he will outlive them
Jewel doesnt mind it to much, as its a natural part of life, and when she goes she will get to be reunited with them
Ajax is rather indifferent, they dont care but they also do, and just tries not to think of it and live in the moment with their friends and enjoy being with them
Harrison doesnt even realize as it was nevr something he was taught that his friends will die one day
Kerah, as stated is bothered and will be sad to know he will outlive everyone
