So for Alastair we need someone who ruins the whole thing and asks him out first xD

If he's ever relaxed for once it'll be super disturbing to him because what the hell, that's not normal, something must be wrong here. Just when it's too quiet at the monastery. This place is never quiet so Neason and Julius must be planning something right now. And yea, don't give the dragon what they say they want. Kerah could play innocent and say that he's only doing what they've told him. "You said you wanted me to stop" and then watch Ajax trying to explain without outright admitting that they love this kind of affection

Yea, they're probably not okay xD I think Javor gets so defensive of them because he didn't have the best parents back when he still lived in Brodia. They'd constantly put him down, telling him that no one would willingly associate with him. It's been years ago and he left when he was twelve (he's 23 now) but it probably kinda stuck with him. So now if anyone is genuinely nice to him he gets very attached and possessive. He gets this aggressive defending them not only because he gets mad on their behalf but also because he wants to show that he's putting in an effort so please keep accepting him. Oh, and no feeling too bad for him, he has a great life in Solm. Soon after travelling there he tried to find a place to live and a job and while he started out by just going around town and offering to help out with small stuff if needed (he's good at sewing and woodworking so he can fix clothes and tents and also furniture if it's not too complicated) there were some households who offered to take him in. He turned most of them down at first, believing he has to do something more useful for them to earn his keep, but eventually he met a goldsmith and soon wanted to learn from him because he loved his work. So yea, not too long after having travelled to Solm Javor was taken in by a goldsmith and over the years learned so much that he too can do that kind of work. So yea, he likes Solm much more than Brodia. The people are less barbaric (as Javor would call it), he lives with someone who's actually a good parental figure and there are fun parties ever so often. Oh, and he loves to watch the wolf fights. The only thing he dislikes about Solm is that it's so easy to get sand on his feathers xD
Yup, and depending on what classes they are they may have some specific methods. Like if one of them is a mage they could enchant an object (maybe a bracelet or some other small thing that one can keep on their person) and have Askaval wear it as it would serve as some kind of limiter, preventing them from having their skill triggered. And they'd only take it off if the royal decides it's the only option. There are other ways too to make sure it doesn't get used too often but that would be one example. Also depends a little on the dynamic of the three but like I said, the one thing that all royal/retainer teams have in common is that they would kill for each other. So even if the Elusian group might express it in different ways those three most likely still care a lot about one another. Hopefully

Definitely makes sense for Korith. It's the same for Askaval, they will only defect if the royal does it. And interesting, having Nyeril also factor into this. Any idea when he will defect?

Yup. I just hope we don't have too many who will make big plans xD Also thought a bit more about how my characters would act. Nora and Vincent would be good at dealing with this stuff. For the most part. I think Vincent would be a bit awkward about it. Callan would be super nervous around his crush and would probably run away screaming and find somewhere to hide if he were alone with them. Agnar would be handling it pretty well at first until he finds out that the other person might actually feel the same. Then he'd turn into a nervous wreck, especially if the one he likes makes it very obvious by showing some affection with words or small actions or by outright asking him out. So yea, it's all fun and games until he realizes that he might actually have a chance here xD As for the rest of my ocs, I'll have to think about it some more

So the best way for those two to unsettle him is to behave and be quiet. Maybe even in his presence because that would be even more scary. If those two behave so well it means they must have done something already or they have planned something and wait for the right time to put that plan into action. And wow, Ajax is doing such a great job xD Still makes it super obvious that they didn't mean it when they told him to stop

Yup! But wow, Brodia seems to be the place for crappy parents xD Sure not everyone from there has shitty parents but still a lot of them. And yea, Javor and Rowan could definitely bond over sewing. Javor probably thinks Rowan's bird costumes are really impressive and doesn't mind at all that he's doing that in the first place. Even when he doesn't know why Rowan is even doing such a thing in the first place he doesn't think there's anything wrong with it. Unlike Astor who will think it's offensive at first xD And yup, put that sand somewhere else, you're ruining a pretty bird's feathers. And now I kinda wanna have that be a thing, the royal or other retainer having come up with an idea like that. Even if neither of them are mages they could probably know one. There's gotta be someone who can enchant objects like that, this is the Kingdom of Knowledge after all. So yea, now I really wanna have Askaval have some kind of jewerly or armor that is infused with magic and prevents their ability from triggering. They can take it off themself but most of the time they only do so when ordered to

That sounds good. And nice, having it around the time when Ajax finds out that Ralston is indirectly responsible for that damn curse. Now we only need to decide when that will be since you said Ajax might leave for a while after learning about it
Also I need to figure out when Javor joins the squad. I already know Askaval will defect if/when the royal does so I can ignore that for now. But back to the bird. Since he lives in Solm I think he'll join for one of the missions there. Maybe for the hidden ring. And maybe his village is somewhere near the area where the ring is hidden. Javor hears from others that some bandits have been seen a good distance away and not wanting them to come to his village Javor sets off to take them out, hoping to find some allies first. Maybe he runs into Jewel before they both meet the squad or he just finds them right away without your cat

So Neason is clueless at first. I really shouldn't be surprised xD But even then he's still better at handling this than Searc. At least he can ask the person out. And Imrie is a lot like Jasmine in that regard, she'd deny her feelings too at first. Juris sounds adorable and lucky for him he's not planning anything big. So no need to ruin his plan then xD And yea, I had that idea for a while. Sometimes, when playing videogames where you can decide what kind of personality the main character has, I like to do many playthroughs where I name the mc after one of my characters. It's a fun way to get a better idea on how they would act in some situations. I did that with Nora, Agnar, Callan, Tahvo, Zinara and Ronera already and it's how I decided to make this how Agnar would act around a guy he likes (as some of the games have one or more love interest for the mc). Very chill for the most part, maybe jokingly flirting with the person and some fun banter until it gets to the point where it's actually getting somewhere, then he's just screaming on the inside and gets super nervous and stuff. It's also a nice contrast to how he usually is since he can handle most situations well and there aren't many things that faze him (well, not counting the whole trauma after the crazy cultist stuff). So him suddenly getting all nervous and awkward like that will definitely invite some teasing from those who see it

Yup, he just can't handle it if he gets some peace and quiet for once. Things are too good, something must be wrong. And yea, Ajax just being the best actor ever, surely they can fool everyone. Would be fun if Ajax were actually convinced of that only to find out that nope, they ain't convincing anyone xD

Yea, the king is probably a good or at least alright parent. And Astor has decent parents too. But that's still a lot of characters from Brodia (either still living there are having left already) who didn't have the best family. Cenric spent his childhood in Brodia too and his parents were always good to him but sometimes they just didn't give him the best advice and he often misunderstood it or took some things as clear rules rather than suggestions or pointers. So yea, his parents are well-meaning but failed to notice when they accidentally taught him some not so great values and Cenric isn't innocent in this either as he never questioned anything they told him, even when he got a bit older. So a kind-of-not-the-best-family I guess?
And yea, Astor takes those things way too seriously xD She thinks everyone should be proud of what they are and never pretend to be something they're not. So she thinks what Rowan does is shameful because not only is he denying what he actually is but he's pretending to be something else while being unable to fully commit to it. To her it's all or nothing, anything else is just disrespectful to all species involved. She grows out of it of course or at least will see Rowan as an exception but she'll still insist that he shouldn't do this once she learns of his reasons. Pretending to be something you're not is one thing, she mostly just sees it as disrespectful. But trying to be someone you're not and not allowing yourself to be you? Nope, really bad. Don't do that. She thinks that's no way to live and that there's no way Rowan could ever be happy like that. And that he shouldn't do this for anyone either as those who don't value him for who he is don't deserve him
Yea, one way or another they could get a mage to do this. Either they just ask one and that mage will gladly do this for them or they'll have to force one to do it.

Oooh, both sound fun! I'm voting for after the Solm party though. More drama! xD Things were looking good for them and Kerah and then this happens. Just perfect
And alright, Jewel and Javor can meet first and then they run into Ralston's group!

Yup. Man, the twins are really bad at this xD But at least Neason won't threaten to kill his crush. So that's one thing he's better at than Searc. And yea, let Juris do his plan, we can't have every plan ruined after all and the smaller ones deserve to be successful. But yea, I tend to replay games like that a lot because of it. It's just fun and you might learn something new about your characters that way. And how sweet of Juris, playing wingman for him. Agnar might let him to that depending on how difficult he thinks getting with someone he likes will be. But yea, I guess it's kinda adorable. Depending on who he gets with he might even be able to still joke about it, even when he's sure that his crush likes him back. So some fun back and forth teasing and flirting is definitely possible. He might jokingly suggest he and the other guy should elope if their own duties are keeping them from being together after graduation. But once his crush speaks more seriously and shows affection? Yup, Agnar will be a stammering and blushing mess. Especially when its in front of others. He doesn't really make a secret of his feelings (as in, he won't deny it when someone asks him if he likes whatever person he's into) but that doesn't mean he's good with public displays of affection xD Man, we have some real dorks among our characters

Don't have him say that out loud though, Neason and Julius will take that as an excuse to cause even more chaos. "We're only doing this because we know how paranoid you get when things are too quiet!" Then again even if he doesn't say it they probably know him well enough to know this. And yea, they will notice but are nice enough to not call Ajax out on it. At first at least. Because yea, once Ajax and Kerah are open about it they will tell the dragon to cut it out already and just admit it. Everyone can tell they like getting attention and affection from Kerah and will tell them to stop acting like they hate it

Yup, he has his reasons but that makes Astor even more insistent that he needs to stop. She'll definitely try to convince him that pretending to be Skye will get him nowhere and that his parents aren't worth all the trouble because if they are this bad about playing favorites he really doesn't owe them shit and they don't deserve him trying to make them happy. She'll definitely join Kerah if he decides to drop trash and fish on them
So that's one option. Maéva can use magic too but she either hasn't really trained with tomes yet or she has started doing so only recently. So she wouldn't be able to do that and Dalvani is definitely the better option here. Ivora is good with magic and might do that if those three can convince her that it's to their advantage. So we have at least two Followers who could help with that. But yea, otherwise there are always some npcs who can be threatened into helping. Or one of them is acquainted with a mage and can just ask them. But threatening someone sounds more fun xD

Hooray, lots of angst, some nice times in Lythos and Solm, and then more angst! How would Kerah deal with this? Will he stay or will he go with Ajax? Or at least follow him for a bit to talk about it?

Alright, an ancestor having made a deal with the Fell Dragon it is! Either it really was so long ago that it was during the dragon war or it was some years after that. Since the fell dragon isn't fully restored yet he was probably even less powerful when that guy made a deal with him. But still could give him plenty of power since even at this stage the fell dragon was much more powerful than a human
I really don't know yet, I'm open to both outcomes. But for now I think it's more likely that there isn't a way to remove the curse since its caster was exceptionally strong. Oh well, Jialan has still plenty of years to live. Not as long as the average snow leopard laguz and maybe not even as long as humans but at least they'll still be alive by the time the war ends and will still get to live a few decades. Still not great since their parents will outlive them. And Bijou will have to lead the tribe one day, whether he wants to or not. He often wished that one of his siblings could do that instead but his little brother Kuon is way too timid and it's unlikely this will change and Jialan, while having all the qualities of a good leader, won't live long enough to even get a chance at leading the tribe. So Bijou has to take over after his father and he's glad it will be many years until then since he really doesn't want that kind of responsibility nor does he think he could handle it. But yea, things will be awkward between him and Askaval. Bijou killed their brother and they would have every reason to hate him for it, even if they can admit that he may not have had a choice. And Bijou will probably resent Askaval because of what their brother did. Sure, Askaval had nothing to do with this and Bijou knows that but he might still dislike them by association. He might also be a bit bitter about them not knowing anything about curses. So something like "You and your brother got your abilities from the same source so why the hell can't you remove a curse cast by him?" He knows he's being unreasonable but he can't help it, he's very sensitive when it comes to this stuff

Geez Searc, get your shit together. Even Neason is better than you at this! Nah, love that about him. And nice, hope you find a good one. Also that sounds fun, doing some runs with your dnd characters. And the fe ones too. I'm also looking over some of my games and might do some more runs. Only gotta figure out which ocs I'll pick for it next time. Definitely Astor, Rayén and Javor. Maybe Calais and Askaval too. Also in one game I'm doing runs with Julius and Larissa. But aww, Juris is such a good wolf. Depending on whether or not he'd be okay with a poly relationship he and the other person could both have the same partner and be happy so he might not have to put his happiness aside entirely. Great, and now that I brought it up I'm starting to wonder which ones of my characters would be cool with a poly relationship (and what kind of dynamic since there are many ways to have that kind of relationship) and who wouldn't want that for themselves. And yea, he really does, huh xD Agnar is definitely one of those among my characters I kinda wanna see ending up with someone eventually. Just because of how fun it would be xD

They'll just have to get used to it. It's not like they can do much about it anyway. I mean, what are the others even supposed to do? Try to make things a bit more stressful for Searc when it's peaceful and quiet so he doesn't have to be so nervous? And clearly Ajax needs to go to theatre class so he can learn a bit about acting

Yea, looks like it will take a while for him. Oh, and since he'll join as "Skye", will he communicate in sign language at first or does he talk? Sure, his voice might give him away but then again Elyos is super LGBTQ+ friendly (what with none of our characters being straight and some being non binary) so the squad might not question it that "Skye" has a masculine voice
Yup. Speaking of jewelry though, I had an idea related to that for quite a while now. Normal jewelry though, nothing magical. I think that in Firene's royal family the children get an accessory each (maybe a bracelet or a ring, not sure yet) once they're over 16. One is for the heir and the other for the second born. They're mostly the same but the one for the first born has a bit more gold or an extra gem stone in it. Or its ornaments are in finer detail. Anyway, the difference is visible on first glance. Usually the heir gets the slightly "better" one, regardless of whether they were born first or not. For example, Lucienne's father was the second child but he turned out to be better suited as future ruler than their older sibling so he got the "heir" thingy. With Maéva and Marceau it's a bit different though. While Marceau is the heir now he still got the other bracelet/ring/whatever. It doesn't change the fact that he's the crown prince and no one treats him any different because of it. And he doesn't mind having gotten this one either. His parents just didn't want to give him the "heir" jewelry because to them doing so would mean they would be trying to pretend that Maéva never existed. So not giving that piece of jewelry to Marceau is their way of always remembering Maéva. It could also be one of the things that would help him convince his sister that their parents didn't mean to abandon her and that they didn't know she was alive. Because while those pieces of jewelry are only handed out when the person is over 16 the parents still would have told their kids about it long before that (in Maéva's case when she was 6). So finding out that her brother isn't wearing the thing that was meant to be hers is one small step towards finding out that she is wrong about her family not caring about her

Yup, some angst is always welcome! And oof, Kerah being without his dragon for a while and maybe resenting Ralston a bit. Yup, this is great!

Alright, so I think that ancestor made the deal shortly before the fell dragon was fully sealed away. While the fell dragon has no respect for humans he might have figured this will be useful for him in the long run. But now I wonder, do those who are affected by his power from so long ago even now have some kind of connection to him? For example, when the Fell Dragon fully returns Ajax and Askaval would be the first ones to know as they can somehow feel it, even if they're nowhere near him. Or that connection could do some not so great things to them. Who knows
Yup. Askaval has their reasons for not knowing anything about curses since their brother would always shut himself in his room when working on new curses so even his family doesn't know much, aside from those who are also good with magic. And of course they're just way too uncomfortable with anything that causes harm to others so Askaval never felt like trying to learn anything about curses. Bijou can probably guess as much but it doesn't stop him from snapping at Askaval sometimes because he just needs someone to turn his frustrations against and they are the best target because of their similarities to their brother (appearance-wise). Oh, and I still need to decide on what age they are. Since my other retainer characters are 18, 19 and 21 it would be nice to make the fourth one 20 to complete the row. But I also kinda like the idea that Askaval reminds Bijou of his little brother (not the cursed sibling) because of how timid they both are. And for that it would be fun to make Askaval the same age as Kuon (17) too. Makes their dynamic even more interesting as Bijou resents Askaval (and they him) but at the same time feels protective because of how similar they are to Kuon. Definitely makes him wonder how he and Jialan are doing right now on the island. So yea, trying to decide between making Askaval 20 or 17

Thought a bit about mine and here's what I have so far:
Vincent - It's not something he would want for himself so no poly for him
Nora - She might be okay with it but only if all of them are girls
Callan - Open to it and would be okay with most dynamics, having no real preferences
Larissa - Open to it and would be okay with most dynamic, prefers to have it be romantic between everyone included though. Still not opposed to having romantic feelings for only one and accept a committed platonic relationship with the other
Agnar - Open to it and would be okay with most dynamics, having no real preferences unless one person is female, he'd be strictly platonic with her as he only like guys
Jasmine - Would be okay with it but only if she's not the "center" of it. She's cool with herself and someone else liking the same person

Yup. They don't have to understand it but will have to accept that this is how he is. And wow, harsh xD But yea, I think even our most naive and gullible characters would at the very least feel that something's off about what Ajax claims

Sounds like it'll be interesting with him! And now I really gotta think about which characters (in Ralston's squad) know sign language. Aside from Orion of course. For now I think Marceau, Ronera, Zinara, Javor and to a lesser extend Calais. Have to think a bit more about the others. But most of all I wanna see how everyone will react to "Skye" actually being someone else. Some might be a bit suspicious of him at first (if they don't know his reasons) but won't be mean about it. Only Astor won't be nice but not because she thinks he's sus but because he wears those costumes. But only until she finds out why he's doing that
Alright, so that's a thing then! Gotta think a bit more about what the differences are between both objects but that shouldn't take long. And yea, a nice way to have Maéva beginning to question what she had come to believe about her family. She won't be convinced right away of course but it will make her think and have some doubts about whether or not her family has really abandoned her

Things are gonna be a bit awkward for a while. Because no one can really take a side in this. Sure, Ralston is indirectly responsible for part of Ajax' family being cursed but he was a child then and couldn't have known that the fell dragon would curse those who switched sides. And of course Kerah is right to be upset about Ajax leaving and since Ralston was the reason for their decision it's no surprise the raven would resent him but at the same time there probably aren't many who would fully side with him because like stated before, you can't really expect a naive and sheltered child to think ahead this far and know that convincing some dragons to switch sides would cause the fell dragon to curse the traitors

Yea, we keep the things we like and throw out whatever we don't. So of course we can add some things of our own here and there and change the lore in some ways if something else works better or sounds interesting. And I really wanna make that a thing now, having those who got cursed by or made a deal with the fell dragon (and their descendants of course) have some connection to him. So yea, maybe the squad somehow made sure that the baddies wouldn't be able to perform some ritual meant to restore the fell dragon's power, think they achieved something great (though they know they'll still have to defeat the Followers) and might feel pretty good about it, only for Ajax and Askaval to suddenly feel a great sense of dread and they both don't know just what they're so terrified of. And then it turns out that the baddies have found some other way for the fell dragon to rise again. As for how the good guys find out, maybe the fell dragon destroys some town or village and while there's nothing left of it some people might have seen him flying over the land and soon word about this gets to Ralston and his friends
Yea, it's understandable but Bijou still has every right to resent them for it. Askaval will definitely feel bad about it and will try to figure something out. They can't learn spells so they won't be able to do anything about such curses but this doesn't mean they won't try to help anyway. Askaval will probably do some research, reading everything they can find about curses and after trying some stuff out themself (and having to give up because they just can't cast magic) they might turn to those in the squad who can use tomes or staves and ask them if they can do it. Not an easy thing as having to approach the others with such a request is terrifying for this guy, even if the others would be more than happy to help and don't mind them asking, but since they feel guilty about this whole curse thing they think they have to do this. And alright, making this kid 17 then! Because yea, makes the dynamic between them and Bijou even more fun

Haha, yea, makes sense for Jason not to get in one xD Way too confusing to him. Also have to think a bit more about the rest of mine. But regardless of whether they'd be okay with being in a poly relationship themselves or not, they have nothing against them or those who are in that kind of relationships. I will not have my characters be intolerant and judgemental about relationships, gender, sexualities and romantic orientations. Not even npcs get to do that. Classism, racism or viewing surface dwellers as dumb animals is okay though. Wow, that sounds really wrong xD But hey, at least most of those who have those not so great views will change so it's all good

Thankfully they won't have too hard of a time accepting this, he's far from the only Deer with some issues. He may be the only one at first but over the course of the year there will be worse stuff going on so him not being able to enjoy some peace and quiet will be the least worrisome thing they have to deal with xD Yup, it may be harsh but it's nothing but the truth. You know you're a bad actor if you can't even fool Ralston

Some of mine will be trying to learn sign language too, even after Rowan starts talking regularly. Just so Orion won't have to keep writing down stuff for them, it can be really inconvenient for him after all and sometimes stuff to write on just isn't available. And they also don't want to always have to bother those who know sign language to interpret for them what Orion is telling them. So yea, most of those of my characters who don't know sign language will definitely try to learn. And yea, Astor will just not stop getting on "Skye"/Rowan's case, both before and after he explains his reasons. Before because she considers it offensive and disrespectful and after because she wants Rowan to live his own life and not have to pretend to be someone else. I wonder how some of the others will act around him once they know his reasons. Most definitely won't agree with his line of thinking but I doubt many will be as persistent and direct as Astor
Yea, that's one thing I was considering. So it's nice to hear it here too, (ty ^^) so now that's definitely how those thingies will be! The second one may still have some really nice detail (so it's still clear at one glance that it's made for a royal of Firene) but the heir one is much more elaborate. Also the heir one might have some slightly more valuable material used for some details

Yup, just things being super awkward for the squad for a bit. Because yea, everyone can probably understand all three of them to some extend but that just makes it difficult to fully side with either of them. And trying to talk about it with Kerah or Ralston won't be easy either as neither of them is really right or wrong so it's kinda hard to only be supportive to one of them without feeling bad about it. But at the same time telling them that both sides have a point may not be what they want to hear, even if it's true because sometimes you just want some validation

Alright, so Fell Dragon spidey sense for those too it is! And yea, once they hear those rumors or even actual eye witness accounts about the fell dragon rising again they will be quick to figure out that this is what Ajax and Askaval were sensing. But now I wonder if there are some other side-effects to being cursed or making a deal with him. Aside from just sensing his return, I mean
One might argue that he's not entirely right since Askaval had nothing to do with their brother's actions but let's be real, knowing that won't stop him from resenting them. It's definitely not uncommon to resent the kid, sibling or other kind of relative of someone who harmed you or your loved ones. Especially if that person still feels close to their relative even if they admit that what they did was bad. So yea, very valid for Bijou to have a grudge against Askaval. Same is true the other way around. Askaval understands that Bijou was justified in killing their brother but at the same time they do resent him for it. Still gonna try their best to fix what their brother did to Bijou's sibling, especially after getting to know the snow leopard a bit better. And nice, so aside from Maylis (who is very a skilled and talented mage and knows it but is not super confident about being able to fulfil such a request) we'll also have Dalvani. Maybe they could both work together to figure something out

Neason possibly creating a scandal sounds about right xD Even if no one in Fódlan has an issue with poly relationships some would still think it's just not right for someone of his standing. Maybe it's mostly jealousy as many nobles didn't marry for love and now this guy not only got with one person he likes, nope there's even more of them. How dare he!

And this makes the Deer so much fun. After a few months Searc is no longer the only one with very much visible issues. Yea, Ajax should take some acting lessons from Levia and Fiore xD Sure, they're no experts either but at least they manage to fool Ralston so they're at least better than our tiny dragon

Yea, makes sense for Vigran. But then again they'd only need to know how to 'read' sign language (since the kid "only" can't talk and isn't deaf) but it's probably easier to memorize if you can use your fingers as well, especially since the grammar structure is completely different. Unless Orion uses Signed Exact English (or whatever language they speak in Elyos) instead or as well. But for those who have a hard time learning sign language I think Orion might try to come up with some alternatives. But those who have trouble with sign language might come up with ideas too because they don't think it's fair to put it entirely on him

Calais will often state that what Rowan is doing doesn't make sense to them and will question it a lot, in a genuine "huh, that's pretty strange" way, not in a "omg why the hell would you do this?!" way

Geez Kerah. His feelings are still valid but he's also being a bit unreasonable. But that's just how it is and I don't think too many people would be surprised. No one is gonna expect any of those three to be perfectly logical about something that stirs up so many emotions. Some of my characters might step in though if Kerah is taking it too far

Yup. Whether it's just something neutral like their fell dragon spidey sense, something even more useful or something that affects them in a bad way. There are quite a few possibilities with this

Haha, oh don't I know it. But yea, Bijou's resentment might be completely understandable but not really justified. And yup, him still having both of his siblings (even with one being cursed) would probably make Askaval resent him a bit more. They wish no harm on either of his siblings of course but they do feel a bit bitter about the whole thing. And alright, we can do that then! I think even outside of that Maylis might be one of the first people in the group who would try to get to know Dalvani. She feels that Dalvani can likely be trusted and most of the time she's right about that kind of thing but she does worry a bit that she might be wrong because she's only known her as an enemy for so long. Hias probably would agree and come up with something with Marceau about what to say, that wont fully reveal everything that went down, but enough that would be enough to get people to be like, ight thats fine, even if its jsut something like they dont get along well with their father and after a bad fight hias had left brodia, or something not sure, and hias would also accept doing other tasks and that could even be the excuse they use for hias to not be present, cause marceau is a riding class with Rayén so she cant really do them. only one they would truly feel should know is ralston. but yea Hias will still end up going into brodia to meet up with everyone, while they know they can handle themselves, wont stop them from ending up showing up cause they still got worried. and for sure im sure all the trios would be willing to do things like this for anyone in their group

Of the Brodia people, I feel at first only Calais will be told the truth, as with the two having known each other in the past Hias feels more obligation to at least tell them the truth compared to Kerah and the royal. Sides they don't want to risk telling the royal should things not go well. But probably after the battle Hias would tell the other two of the brodia trio. Kerah has a decent bullshit detector, probably from how much he teases people, so he would be able to tell they are all being sincere, but he also wouldn't really care and regardless would ask where the dad is to just maybe accidentally drop some trash or a fish. But yea love that about firene trio, despite all knowing they can handle themselves, they still worry. But damn yea those two are the worse, as Vigran also worries about Zinara and dislikes being apart for very long. And yea that how praxar thing just really made it worse. And while they can fight on their own, they do tend to stick close to either Zinara or the other retainer.
