I think I started doing it over a year ago. The site was going incredibly slow for a few days and just typing up a single short post took forever so I just thought '**** it' and typed it in my text editor first xD

Yup! This is why angry Philomel would be fun to see. And love how Searc would still not forgive the formerly mean deer or if he does only once they're older. Gotta hold some grudges, especially in Searc's case because he gets so much shit all the time. From his parents and Rossi, from other crappy nobles and pretty much from life in general

He better take the other ring if he doesn't want to deal with that xD And yes, our idiots just not wanting to risk being haunted by a ghost raven and Ivora just telling them she can ask Elusia's best mages for some protective wards just to get them to stop whining about potential ghosts. Also she doesn't care, there's still some space on the pages to scribble some small notes, just writing on something else would be a waste of paper. But as someone who likes book I gotta say, how ****ing dare she

Yea, Neason would somehow find a way to cause at least be somewhat chaotic xD And yes, have Ajax be tasked with keeping their raven in line. Being his partner doesn't come cheap!
True, Kerah's gotta know what he can say and what he shouldn't tease the wolf for. And aww, Ralston doing his best to make sure wolfboy can hang out with some people. He's definitely the first person Fáelán will fully trust despite his uneasiness about both fell dragons and divine dragons

And even with all those back up plans those wolves still get their whole squad eliminated or have only one or two of them get away. And yes, Ajax doing their part in shutting Kerah up xD Only for either Ralston or Ronera to say something that really makes it sound like they're gonna live out some super weird fantasies with those wolves and even our more serious ones have to admit that yup, it really does sound that bad

Love what I'm seeing so far! But man, his life really does suck. Dude loses his sister, is super devastated as he walks home and his parents are pretty much like "Oh, did that worthless piece of crap finally die? Hooray! Oh don't give me that look Skye, you'll grow to appreciate that too when you're older." Astor will dislike Rowan at first because she considers the whole costume thing to be disrespectful to birds but once she either knows his story or at least suspects that he's not doing it for the selfish reasons she assumed she'll not only be nicer to him but also try to convince him that he shouldn't have to pose as his sister anymore because holy shit, that's no way to live
I think I'll make Rayén Marceau's other retainer then. She'll think she's not adequate for the job sometimes because of how pathetic her human form is but since her beastform is really powerful (definitely my strongest beast-type laguz) and also because of how great she and Marceau work together in battle she does have some confidence in her abilities. And yes, I love that theme we have with one human and one laguz retainer so let's keep it here too

Yea, he and the others really didn't make the best choices as kids. Sure, no one knew that some bandits would use the barn as a meeting place once in a blue moon but that was still a ****ed up prank and they all regret it. Not that Cenric cares, he wants them all dead because he falsely believes he was the one who was against it. I just hope he won't snap too badly from the revelation. Wouldn't be surprised if he went over to Astor and asked her to kill him. Or how about he ends up joining the bad guys later on? Instead of only hating himself he'll also lose faith in the divine dragon. Kinda that he does think he deserves to die for what he did but also that the world as it is right now is no good because not only did he get away with what he did for so long but also no one ever tried to point him towards the truth or tell him that some of the stuff he's told them about his past contradicts itself. So yea, he realizes he ****ed up big time but also thinks that in a just world this wouldn't have been allowed to happen in the first place. And so he'll leave to join the Fell Followers because the kind of world the fell dragon will create is exactly what he believes people like him and those who allow those things to happen deserve

If Searc ever met the Goddess I'm sure he'd have some words for her that would horrify any of those super devoted church members. And for them too if they try to justify any of it and sternly tell him that it's not his place to question the Goddesses choices for him

And the saner ones just getting fed up with it because what the hell is wrong with you guys, even if there will be a ghost it's not gonna eat your souls, all it can do is crack jokes. It may be annoying but ultimately harmless. And yes, hate that too! I kinda get why they would want some notes right there but holy shit, please write them with pencil and erase them when you no longer need the book. Sure, still not good for the pages in the long run but slightly less annoying

Searc actually allowing Neason to **** shit up? That's almost concerning xD Then again Searc would only need to take one look at Levia and Fiore and decide that he doesn't have the patience to wait until the good guys take the ring from the baddies so yea, Neason gets to do his stuff
Yea, he loves to tease others but never in a malicious way. Still gonna mess up every now and then. Just like he'll do with Vigran. And Fáelán is so gonna love Sommie! So yea, Ralston actually has the right idea here. As for showing that he's not a dragon to be feared or to be uncomfortable around like that, Fáelán doesn't dislike divine dragons per se, it's more so the fact that many people are worshipping them and thanks to the Fell Cult he's not a big fan of religions like that. And he knows that even among those who worship the divine dragons there are some lunatics who take it a little too far. So I guess the best thing Ralston can do is just to be himself, it makes his kind look a little less awe inspiring and more like more or less regular people

Yup. I mean sure, those who stayed on the island or left Elusia would still be there but since the majority of the tribe has joined the cult there won't be much left. So yea, congratulations to everyone who hasn't joined the Followers, you'll be safe from that massacre and will be the last wolves of your tribe! And yes, our two weird dragons just making Ajax' job harder "'Harder' you say?" "Shut up, Kerah". That's what they're best at!

It started out as a fun little joke idea and you turned it into an actual character. And of course you also have to traumatize him xD And yup, I can see it not gonna be easy to convince him that he doesn't have to live as his sister and should instead get to live as himself. Also, once they know of his backstory I bet everyone will hate Rowan's parents
I think Rayén will be pretty open about that, at least around Hias and Marceau. So I'm sure she'd accept their help. She'll also ask both Hias and Marceau to train with her sometimes in her human form. While she knows she won't be as strong as them and also that she can never train for too long she at least can work on dodging attacks that way and improve her stamina a little. Just in case an opponent has a staff that forces her to change form and she can avoid taking any serious damage until she can transform again. Might be necessary if the enemies are smart because despite being half lion and half tiger her beast form is not only not weaker than "pure" lion laguz, it's actually a little bit stronger. Guess something went wrong and instead of having a normal human form and a normal beast form she got a weak human form and a unusually strong beast form

Oh I bet they will xD Same for plenty of my characters, especially Marceau and Astor. And even those who won't hate him and may even say that it was just a bunch of kids being stupid they'll also distrust him. Most will still judge him harshly because even if nothing had happened Cenric and his friends were still a bunch of cruel bullies for doing something like that. No one will hate Cenric as much as Cenric himself though. Also, I doubt Astor would kill him even if he asked her. When she first learns the truth she'd totally want to but then just refuses because she thinks letting him life with the guilt is much worse for him

Just a bunch of church members not knowing what to say after Searc uses such crude words and a few just trying to scold him but they can only stammer. The kids will be more or less chill with it. My outsiders don't care about Sothis anyway and the only students who actually give a shit about the Goddess are my three Eagles. And even they are like "Huh, kinda rude but valid as ****"

The Followers could try to get him to stop bothering them by telling him to go see his allies because even if he can't hug his beloved dragon any more he can at least watch over them. Kerah stays anyway because teasing the cultists is less depressing. And ugh yes, hate it when they just underline seemingly without any thought behind it. I think I almost never underlined stuff in books, and if I did only with a pencil. Most of the time I just wrote on some smaller pieces of paper and used them as bookmarks. Either some short sentences or just some numbers to know which line and stuff. Takes more work but at least I don't have to write on the pages. Most of the time this wasn't even an issue because we could just make copies of the relevant pages (if there weren't too many) and underline stuff on those

And Neason thinks it's a shame they're evil and kinda insane because otherwise they may have been fun to be around. Only for those two to reject such notion because "eww, cis boy. gross"
Yea, wolfboy's just like "yea, I'm not sure I trust those dragon religions. The last one I had to deal with turned my friends and family against me". Thanks to that he also worries that his new friends will also get taken from him eventually and that whatever happiness he may have won't last, which makes him want to prove himself to them even harder. Shit, the fell cult really made it hard for him to just enjoy the moment and relax every now and then. But yea, Ralston being who he is will be helpful in a way, even though Fáelán knows he can't judge the whole divine dragon thing on that alone. It's a small thing but one he really appreciates

Those who are still left will be thrilled because finally they no longer have to fear the crazy ones of their tribe. While they live in Firene and on the island and would rather enjoy their peace those wolves might offer their assistance to our good guys now that they got rid of the bad ones of their tribe. They still fear the other Fell Followers but they want to do show their gratitude and also want to do their part now that they have a realistic chance. And yea, have Kerah make his remarks during the less serious battles and during training. Ronera will try to avoid training anywhere near him because she just knows she'll say something that will earn her one of his comments xD

Every single on of my good guys will hate his parents. Astor and Cenric even think it's a shame they haven't commited any crime yet because they really wanna go after those bastards. Oh well, just because they can't kill them doesn't mean they won't find any other way to punish them. Only if Rowan is okay with it of course. He gets the final say on what and what not to do about his parents
Look like they'll all get along then! Rayén will definitely take Hias up on their offer and is always eager to learn more. I think when she first met Hias she was a bit uneasy around them and was worried they'd judge her for her weakness, only ever training in her beast form whenever they were around but eventually stopped doing that

Oh yikes xD Yea, I also did some not so nice stuff as a kid but also no worse than your prank. Jump scaring others was always fun! I sure had some mean thoughts about some kids I disliked, mostly because they picked on me, but even then I just let them be mean thoughts and was mindful to not actually do anything hurtful or bad
Yea, I guess he is. He is kind to his friends and always tries to be helpful and in battle he only focuses his hatred on those who deserve it (bandits, murderers, fell followers) but he's especially cruel to those and sometimes his hatred gets misdirected and he's cruel to not so evil opponents instead. He tries to justify it and will come up with reasons for why they deserved it but he feels like crap for doing that and hates himself more and more. So yea, better make sure someone is there to step in if it looks like he's taking things to far when fighting anyone who isn't really evil scum. Dude needs a reminder sometimes that no, someone fighting for the fell cult because it's the only way they can make enough money to feed their family is not the same as someone who fights for them because they want to kill and destroy. And yup, he's a little blind when it comes to the divine dragons xD No matter how much evidence, he still thinks Ralston is just trying to be funny and isn't actually this naive or stupid. Sometimes he'll praise him for always trying to lighten the mood or for having such a creative mind
Yea, the Followers won't be happy xD Not that he minds, he doesn't care what they think of him and might even think it's fitting that they don't like him. Evil scum thinking he's lower than them? Also, worked a bit on my new characters. Not done with either of them but I already put them with the others. Also, while I'm actually done with Ivora I'm gonna leave her completed character form in my drafts for now, so no changes to her. Gotta figure out some stuff first so her backstory works with what we decide so yea, keeping it in my drafts for now

Néo would be actually impressed (not that he'd admit it) and Larissa would even cheer. Jasmine would be a bit upset but thinks that he's right to swear at the goddess. Agnar thinks that the church members who are scolding Searc are a bunch of wimps because they can't take any criticism against their precious goddess, Tahvo would be a little concerned about how Sothis will react, Konstantin is just looking away so no one can see his proud smirk, Callan would watch from a safe distance because angry Searc is scary but he'd laugh at every single swear word thrown at the goddess, Julius is fully supportive of Searc telling Sothis off and Akakios and Nereus would cheer him on and make some cool effects with their magic to make this whole thing look even more impressive

Yea, get those gross cis boys away from them. Neason would be such a fun addition to their team and he ruins it by being a guy. Nope, can't have that, our Followers insist on their girl and non binary club
And Ralston has a much easier time getting Fáelán to not be wary of him because for wolfboy it's just those religions he's worried about. No such luck with Orion though because unlike wolfboy his problem isn't the believers of those religions but the divine dragons themselves. The kid just doesn't trust them so most of the time he'll try to avoid Ralston. Makes it hard for him to play with Sommie. Orion loves that doggo but since he knows that Ralston is almost always with Sommie he can't play much with him

The Followers getting even more annoyed because when he isn't teasing them he's whining. Eventually they'll try to find someone who can send ghosts on to the afterlife just to have some peace and quiet again xD
Yea, makes sense then. One of the few times where it's acceptable to do that. Because yea, it can be pretty damn useful to the next person

Most of those who fled Elusia probably don't even consider themselves to be part of that tribe any more anyway. It stopped being their tribe the second their leader chose to serve the Fell Cult. But they might consider starting a new one, just a bunch of peaceful wolf laguz who live in Firene and have a leader who doesn't betray everything they stand for. And nice, Ronera just can't escape him xD No matter how well those training areas are hidden, Kerah will still always show up right when she says the worst things

Nice, Ralston still being naive but also willing to suggest something like that. The group then discussing how they will totally not have some of them do something at a certain time and a certain place because that could cause some destruction. Anyone who happens to do so anyway is totally doing that accidentally

Ralston stepping up and telling Cenric no. The naive dragon child is actually doing something no one can complain about for once xD And Cenric would definitely listen if Ralston is the one to tell him to stop so yea, best choice actually. But aside from that they're both idiots because yup, he really doesn't get that the dragon child is actually this naive. Cenric doesn't think that Ralston doesn't have flaws but it's more a "huh, those divine dragons have a strange sense of humor. I don't really get it but I'm not gonna tell him his jokes are kinda lame, he's really trying his best to keep us in high spirits after all"

Yea, Searc would definitely play that game xD Good thing the Deer have multiple potential healers (Estelle is gonna focus on black and white magic, Tahvo will also learn white magic and of course we always have Philomel) so it's a little less stressful for them. As for our Engage squad, one of the reasons I made Cenric a Martial Monk is so Kirat isn't the only staff user on our good guys side. I couldn't just let my Griffin Rider be the only healer xD

Oooh, that clan sounds delightful. And that tradition is wonderful. Well, not for the cat who wants to retire but that's what makes it so much fun

Yea, they may despise humans but they hate the goddess and her children more. So when a human talks that way to Sothis they can tolerate that person for just one day and do what they can to make it more epic

Neason could dress in drag and while the club still won't accept him they now see him as one of the slightly less gross cis males because they can respect drag queens. Not sure if Neason could pull it off though, but then the club could get a good laugh out of it because of how absolutely bad he looks in that
Orion would definitely accept that kind of arrangement. He'd feel a bit bad for temporarily taking Sommie from Ralston but at the same time it also helps him getting more comfortable around him because surely the divine dragons can't be that scary if they're this nice

Wow, begging and trying not to crack so many jokes? From Kerah that's quite a lot. So yea, it'd be best for both him and the Followers if they don't kill him if they ever capture him, it's just not worth it. They just couldn't handle ghost Kerah and he'd have a miserable time too because no cute dragon partner, little to no jokes or it's off to the afterlife and also no whining about not being able to hug his beloved dragon

Yea, those woofers decided that leaving their beloved tribe was still better than staying and risking getting taken in by that creepy cult too, no matter how much they might miss their old friends and families. Let them have some nice things in life. And yup, no matter where she goes Kerah will still find Ronera. Not even Valla would be safe

Nice, Ralston giving them an alibi and everyone not part of his squad believes him because he's the dragon child and there's no way a divine dragon would ever lie. So in a way he's even taking advantage of his status, even if it's not intentional
She'd be a bit surprised because she thinks her insecurities are entirely on her (no matter what others might tell her), especially since neither Marceau nor his parents ever gave her reason to believe that they'd ever think lesser of her, no matter how impressive Hias is. And Marceau also repeatedly reassured her that Hias would never mock or look down on her (once he gets to know them a little. But even right after meeting Hias for the first time he told Rayén that Hias doesn't seem like the type to belittle her but if they are that he'd see to it that they don't) so she had even less reason to worry about that. She'd still accept Hias' apology but would also apologize to them for having made assumptions like that in the first place

Same. I apologize to tables and other stuff, how could I ever do something really mean to a person? xD Sure, I can also be a jerk if someone really pisses me off and depending on what they did I can hold grudges but even then I apologize after a while if I did something mean to them
And they're all ugly dog (and a few other animals) costumes because they needed disguises for wolfboy. While his beast form would have been sufficient most of the time they can't have him look cool so yes, ugly dog costumes are a must. And now Cenric gets the honor of wearing those hideous things. "Yea, I don't think I like that fursuit. Maybe I'll just do what you said and act like their other Pokémon. You do your motto and no one will see me"

Yay xD Having one of Hias' siblings as an actual character would make this a lot more fun because now we even get to know that sibling
But since we're on that subject already... Out of the Firene royal and retainer trio Rayén is the only one who doesn't have to fight a sibling. So I might gonna change that xD But unlike Hias' siblings and Marceau's sister Rayén's sibling didn't join the Fell Followers. She'll still be forced to fight them though. Maybe the Followers attacked her village at some point so they could kill the people there and turn them into Corrupted. Some villagers, including her parents, managed to escape but not all of them. Her sibling is one of those who got killed and they'll fight her as a Corrupted. If I wanna be really mean they died protecting their parents, only to kill them after being raised as a Corrupted. But even if I don't do that it's still not a fun time for Rayén since she still has to fight their undead sibling

Searc really knows how to make their jobs difficult xD And yup, we need more than just one. Especially when the squad splits up into two groups for some missions. Can't have one team without a healer. Sure, sometimes Kerah could help out when he's engaged with Tahvo and Marceau knows a bit white magic but Kerah would always have a time limit for how long he can use Tahvo's magic and Marceau doesn't train with staves so while he could just grab a staff from a dead enemy and use it for his spells it would be super rare and not nearly as effective as having a trained healer around

What a lovely clan! Do they only exile cats who want to retire and tolerate the old ones who want to remain warriors until they drop dead or does the leader also exile cats who are no longer useful but haven't stated that they want to retire?

Still a surface dweller though so still an enemy and lowly creature. But at least they might respect him somewhat

And they just might make an exception for him because yup, that's dedication. Still a gross cis boy but they show him more respect than Fáelán or Cenric so at least he's not the lowliest of the low
True, a week is nothing to him so he can probably manage without Sommie for a while. And it's only until Orion stops fearing him, once he sees that there's really nothing scary about Ralston he won't mind having him there while playing with Sommie

Yea, let them do something like that. And yup, screw the bad ones. Let them rot and keep anyone away from them who's interested in their fur. Because that'd make them useful in a way and they don't deserve that. Kerah just has a sixth sense which allows him to find people he can tease. Gotta fly quickly to Plegia so he can get there just in time to catch someone there saying some unintentionally creepy and horny things!

Marceau and Rayén have been friends since they were kids so yea, he's always watching out for his lion. And yea, she definitely thought Hias was intimidating when she first met them and that impression kinda stuck for a while. She absolutely took them for someone who would belittle a "weakling" like her at first until she tried to get to know them better

Hm. Tough choice. The brother so we have some variety or the sister to keep this accidental girl and non binary club thing going
Definitely gonna do the Corrupted sibling thing for her. Just adds an extra layer of trauma. As for whether or not I'll have that sibling kill their parents, depends on how mean I wanna be. Not something I'm gonna decide now but it's definitely an option I'm going to seriously consider. Just letting her fight her sibling is bad enough already because damn, that's a horrible way to find out your sibling died. Also no chance of her getting her hopes up about that being some other lion or tiger, she and her family are the only laguz in that village. But even if they weren't the only ones she knows what her sibling's beast form looks like so yup, she'd know right away who that undead creature is

No need for you to change any of their classes. If we really don't have enough healers we can simply change the rules for those classes a little. For example a wolf knight who uses staves instead of swords, lances or axes but still keeps the knives that this class uses. As for the time limit, I don't know either. We probably don't have to be super strict about it. The second option sounds best for now. Three attacks (or other engage specific actions) and done. As for recharging, we can have that happen automatically instead of doing it the way it's in the game. We just need a set amount of turns/actions until they can engage again. No strict rules for engaging outside of battle though, it can last for however long we want it to when they're just doing silly stuff xD

Plus if he looks hideous in those dresses it makes them warm up to him even more because hey, he's so dedicated he's willing to make a fool of himself
Yeea, that. Really sucks for all three of them. Taryal will be furious at himself and Ralston but refuses to take the chance and turn this battle around even though he could do that. He'll just warn Ralston that while he and his allies have the advantage now reinforcements will arrive soon and urges him to take Orion and get out of here with his squad. He may hate Ralston but keeping his son out of harm's way is more important to him. Unfortunately one of the other Followers will see him warning the good guys and letting them escape and will report this to the Fell Dragon. So yea, Taryal will definitely get executed for this and this battle is the last time Orion gets to see him. The kid will find out about it from Ronera who had decided to go spy on the Followers to see what became of Orion's dad after the battle because she knows this is the one thing he wants to know, no matter if she has good or bad news for him. Orion won't be surprised but will definitely feel guilty because by trying to protect his father he indirectly ensured Taryal's death. He'll also feel bad for having gotten in Ralston's way and will ask him if they're still friends even though he has tried to defend a Fell Follower

After having their nice funeral thing for their dead the woofers will have another sort of funeral, this one for the bad wolves. They won't bury the bodies or anything, they won't even go near them. Instead they just list all the things the baddies have done to them and why they won't be mourned. Let them sort out all their feelings about this by allowing them to talk shit about those awful guys and be disrespectful. And yes, Kerah just leaving randomly in the middle of talking xD "Would you stop this 'randomly showing up' crap already? What I said wasn't even so bad this time! I only threatened to shove this thing right in, make them scream and that it will take forever to clean up this wet and sticky mess- oh, right."

Love that about him xD Naive and sheltered but willing to abuse his status to help his friends. Everyone approves though, even those who think super highly of him and you'd think they'd be scandalized by it. Nope, they think it's a amazing display of how much he cares about his friends
Yup! A human and their kitty retainer being besties. And if Marceau and Rayén ever wonder if some might consider them too buddy-buddy for liege and retainer then they'll be relieved to see how Vigran and Zinara interact because those two make them look professional xD And yea, Hias kinda makes it easy to assume those things when meeting them for the first time. My quiet and more shy ones will have a hard time approaching them at first but for most it won't take long to give it a shot anyway

Oh, that sounds great! A guy enjoying girly things and being confident in his masculinity sounds lovely. Also kinda cool and adorable at the same time
Alright, I'll have her sibling kill their parents then! Because yea, never hurts to add more trauma. As for when this happens, probably after Hias killed one of their siblings and Marceau killed Maéva but maybe before Hias' other sibling dies. Also had another fun idea today. Some time after all of this the squad will fight our Followers again and Ivora will specifically seek out those three to mock them for what they each were forced to do. Rayén, who usually has herself under control, gets so mad at her for it that she attacks her, using her beast form, and Ivora quickly turns into her dragon form to swat her away. Right before Ivora's attack connects Cenric (who has defected to the followers by then) uses his staff to forcibly turn Rayén back into her human form. Marceau or Hias (or both of them) will then kill Cenric for it because that bastard knew exactly what he was doing by casting that spell at that exact moment. Yes, I'll let her live but it's still gonna be upsetting for them having their friend almost die, especially after they already had so much shit to deal with

Yup! And yea, having them use three basic attacks before they can engage again sounds fair. And like in the game it can be reduced at a certain bond level. Since it takes a while to get to that level it'll still be fair because there probably won't be too much of a difference between each pair up's bond levels

Well I mean, currently as a subplot for Rivuletclan is that for some reason, totally nothing to do with the prophecy that is the main plot, but all the kits are stillborn that are being born in Rivuletclan, and yep nothing bad can ever come from his actions at all he is such a great cat

Yep just these two out here being a disgrace of their kind, and yea just a little anger for him otherwise gets to be happy doggone, then there's just...Rowan good the man sad af

Maybe they even make it look like a fox or a bird of prey has taken said kits. One warrior takes the kit, another plants feathers around that spot or if possible one or two cats lure a fox in. The Rivuletclan cats also know how to perfectly cover their scent and leave no traces. Not that they'd get to do this often, Horizonclan probably makes sure that no kit manages to sneak out and they'd double their efforts after one kit went missing. So yea, Rivuletclan would mostly depend on taken kits from rogues. Just some thoughts of course, I don't know how you wanna do that second warrior rank
