Yup xD He does wish for death sometimes but not nearly as often as Searc. Whenever he catches himself thinking of dying he just has to imagine how happy his former allies would be about it. But most of the time he does enjoy living xD

Still needs to stop calling everything a bird. Those are dragons, not featherless birdies. And that's a griffin. And those are cat laguz. They don't even have wings, why would you think they're birds? And yay, becoming a better judge of character because of sad and hurtful experiences xD It's totally worth the cost, Ralston so don't be too upset, character development isn't supposed to be fun for the one going through it ^^

Yea, both parents suck and things only got so bad because they are who they are. The mother keeps sleeping with other men and keeps lying to him instead of just breaking things off with him first and the father responds with murder and pinning it on the oldest kid instead of just dumping her. Both are/were shitty people and their kids deserved better, especially since they're all still affected by this
Makes sense that Ajax would feel that way. Man, their family sure ****ed things up for them. Ajax will still have to accept that sometimes they have to rely on others. And hey, they might eventually realize that it doesn't mean they're weak

The others might be against those two hanging out because while Fáelán has no desire to die he is still reckless and also doesn't take proper care of himself. So Searc might be a bad influence on him. Or just a hypocrite if he yells at the wolf for training and hunting shortly after almost dying

Yea, they're somewhat right about the griffin but everything else? Not even close xD And yup, that's just how it works. We're gonna be mean to everyone in some way. And those who we have no plans for yet also won't be happy all the time, they have to watch their friends almost die or get traumatized

Man, whenever we make bad parents for someone we make sure it really messes them up for life! xD But at least most of them know that their parents are/were awful to them and dislike them for it. Orion is a bit less fortunate because his father Taryal both loves and hates him and the kid just can't accept that he wouldn't be safe around him. He'll also walk out of any conversation when someone tries to imply that he's better of without his dad and won't tolerate anyone talking badly about him
And yay, more character development. Not an easy thing to learn for them but they'll get there eventually

That, and sometimes they just make a game of it, each claiming they can hit on more people than the others in one day xD But yup, just making each other jealous because they don't want to be the first to apologize isn't a rarity either

I guess he can. Both have a pretty low opinion about themselves, are obsessed with proving their usefulness and have no regard for their own well-being. And they have shitty parents, though Searc's were always awful to him while Fáelán at least got to have a good childhood until he was eight, then they slowly began to treat him like garbage too

And this is why we love giving our characters family issues. And then have some with good and loving parents, just to make the already bad ones look even worse

Yup, Searc's parents were always shit, they didn't need some vile religion to turn them against their kid. On the other hand he won't have to fight them and they won't try to kill him. The Deer and some other students and teachers will have to get him to see that he has value even if he isn't perfect at everything, and the squad here has to get Fáelán to understand that he doesn't have to go that far to prove himself to them, especially those who are already quick to trust and accept him

And also even more reason for the other Deer to just not step in, they don't wanna risk making Desai mess up in any way but even outside of that they just know that trying to stop him or speaking out against it would just make things worse for Searc. Still, every single Deer will despise that guy from that day on and celebrate when he eventually gets executed by the church for assisting the agarthans. And yup, not gonna be easy for either group to convince them. Engage squad will have to put Fáelán on a leash and tie it to a post or tree, leave him some food and have Sommie keep him company so wolf boy can't run after them when they're going into battle. Or Ralston just closes the portal so the wolf can at least roam the Somniel a little and won't be too bored and also instructs Sommie to make sure he doesn't do anything to hurt himself even further

Hope they never see a manta ray or anything similar because something with "wings" like that has got to be a bird!

Those with good parents offering them to have a sleepover at their place and even let them join them for dinner and breakfast (yes, even the royal kids will make that offer. just spend the night at our castle/palace, guys, it's great!) so they can spend at least one day with a nice and functional family

And the stable area sounds good, it's more comfortable than the grotto and yup, Fáelán (and Sommie) will have all those adopted animals for company. By that time wolf boy is more relaxed around cats (Zinara picked out the calmest and nicest cat to get him used to the kitties at some point after finding out he's a little scared of felines) so that's no problem either

Makes it even funnier, this idiot thinks every creature is a bird but can also identify every real bird, even if they only pick up a dropped feather. The squad is just super confused because how can someone know so much about birds yet also mistake other animals for birds too?

Gotta make this a thing, the squad is travelling all over Elyos so they'll also stop by the castles, palaces and hometowns so they definitely have the opportunity to invite their friends over. Sure, not everyone will be able to stay in the normal houses in the towns but those who have shitty parents can still stay at their friend's house while the rest stays at the local inn. And the royal kids are nice enough to pay for everyone, unless they insist on paying their share themselves

Yea, that would work xD Especially the shopkeepers. But yea, Dalvani and Fáelán get dragged into this too, whether they like it or not

Yes, anyone who thought of Desai as a good noble isn't invited. Same goes for those who are like him. Just tie them to a chair while everyone is having fun. Actually, make them part of the party too. Have the kids throw rotten fruit and eggs at them. Winner gets to cut the rope of the catapult that's gonna launch those uninvited assholes into the woods below the monastery once the party comes to a close. And yup, the lynx just being supportive of their allies. Even if it doesn't happen on screen during the rp it's still canon. Zinara just inviting the wolf to hang out to help him get used to cats and making sure the cats don't scratch or bite him and that Fáelán knows he can back out any time if it's too much at once

And when the squad finally meets the Fell Dragon himself Yanser is still gonna mistake him for a huge scary bird at first xD

Yes! Those who need it get to have a nice dinner and breakfast with a normal family and the rest just stays at the inn and has a fun evening there. And sometimes more of the squad can stay at one of their homes since some of the kids are nobles and have more room there. But whether they are commoners, nobels or royals, the kids better make sure their parents don't tell their friends embarrassing stories about their childhoods xD

Sounds good. It could be before Ivora meets the good guys and lures them into a trap (some nameless cultists that are easily defeated) and she only decides to do that because after hearing that report from her allies she just has to see for herself whether she's right about that being the divine dragon's son and if it is if he's even a worthy opponent. As for why she wasn't with the baddie squad when both groups met, she still had stuff to do in Elusia and also figured she wasn't needed for that mission since it sounded easy enough for that small group. As for her going to test Ralston's group, either she does that before Fáelán has tracked them down (since in her dragon form she can get there faster than he in his wolf form and he's also taking a difficult route so no one sane will follow him) or he's already joined the good guys but is told to stay behind at the Somniel with some others because they don't trust him yet and want to get some more info from him first. Either way, he can't be present when Ivora meets them in that village of future Fell Followers because he would recognize her

They better include Luz. Things been scary at the monastery lately so Neason and Searc wanna make sure she's having some fun. Néo will have a turn too He just jumps at the chance to bully some humans who deserve it and he also gives Luz some tips so she can aim better. And yup, they're a good kitty. Spoiled sometimes but also very caring. And Vigran would definitely make sure the lynx gets their proper payment. But wolf boy will also catch them some eel as thanks

Oh definitely xD And other embarrassing stuff, like Maylis' parents keep talking about how great of a mage she is and how talented in general. And how she looks up to Hias and how bummed she was when they became a retainer. Meanwhile Maylis is just sinking lower in her chair, hiding her face behind her hands and hissing at them to stop. Sure, she only admires Hias and doesn't have a crush on them but it's still embarrassing to her. And she also wants her parents to stop talking about how great she is

Yup, gotta see if she's right about her suspicion about that leader of that group since she only has her allies' description to go on. And after having confirmed her suspicions she will tag along with Levia's group so the baddies are more prepared for fighting Ralston's team again. And I think I'll have Fáelán find the good guys shortly after they got tricked by Ivora. Just because it makes him look a little more sus. Ralston may be willing to trust him but the others will be more careful. Sure, the wolf brought them an emblem ring and if this is a trick it's a very risky one and they might have noticed how miserable he looked when he was with the baddies but they still won't trust a former enemy right away, especially after having met Ivora only a short while ago

Best payment the kitty could ask for. Zinara already loves helping others. And getting rewarded for it with fish? Makes it even better!

Sucks for her to be from the same little farmer village Hias moved to xD Bonus points if Hias (and someone else since there's room for two guests) is staying at that house and Maylis parents just cheerfully tell them all this and also how excited they are to see them again. They may not have interacted much with Hias but were always friendly and greeted them when they saw them. But probably kinda nice for Hias, knowing how happy their neighbours are to see them. But also kinda sad because as welcome they are in Firene the same can't be said for Hias' former home in Brodia

Yes, Ralston or Ronera misspeak and he doesn't tease them? Wow, something's really wrong
Yup, she may see that his group at least isn't weak but she'll also have a hard time believing that her allies had to retreat because wow, this divine child is an idiot. Still gonna join her squad for some missions so she can make sure they aren't being incompetent. And yes, gonna have him join at that time then. The squad's just thinking it's a little too convenient for him to show up right after the fell child tricked them. They will accept Ralston's decision of letting the wolf join but all make sure someone is always keeping an eye on Fáelán. Also tell Kerah, Ronera and Astor to fly around a bit to make sure no baddies are lurking nearby. Marceau and probably some others will also go speak to Ralston to discuss this a little. Not to tell him to send the wolf away but to make sure this naive leader knows about the potential risks

My evil manipulative dragon now likes to make confections. She's gonna hand out some sweets to her squad sometimes if they've been doing well or need something to cheer them up. One of her ways to show she doesn't despise them like she does most other humans and laguz. As for her enjoying reading, it's mostly about history. She's always curious to see just how truthful the humans are when writing down those events. She's witnessed quite a few important things in her life and will know when there are lies in those history books. I guess it's amusing to her but it also makes her look down on humans even more

Yea, just send one or two classmates with him so nothing goes wrong and only those nobles are affected. They deserve it anyway, whatever he does to them. And nice, Luz just having a great time with those two. Having her around is a good way to have Néo be more open about not disliking humans anymore. Sure, the first humans he gives a shit about are the professors (especially Orryn) and Hera but he's showing it in his own bratty way. With Luz he's more honest once he gets used to her and stops using "I just don't wanna make a little kid cry by saying no" as an excuse to be nice to her

Yup, Yanser just sees our bird laguz in their human form and instantly goes "that's a raven" and "that's a red-tailed hawk". Same for every other bird laguz they meet, this weirdo just recognizes them right away, even from a distance

Ronera may be annoyed by him but she'd definitely be concerned if he just suddenly stopped teasing her. Might even repeat whatever accidentally suggestive line she said in case he missed it and then be like "okay, what the hell, that's just wrong" when he still doesn't comment on it. Marceau would also be a little worried if Kerah missed an opportunity to make fun of Firene
Yes, someone just needs to let Ralston know he's being too trusting. Just have the guys have a calm but serious conversation with him. Sure, the wolf seems like he's telling the truth and the emblem ring he brought is real too and yes, the Fell Followers are probably not gonna give away one of their rings so there's a good chance it's not a trick but it's still possible it's all part of a more complex plan. Whatever emblem Fáelán gave them can probably vouch for him but most would still be wary of the wolf for a while. They may trust the emblem but it's still not easy to also trust a former enemy

Yea, with the idiots it's definitely more a "you're of no use to me when you're like that" xD She might like them a little but she doesn't respect them, unlike Nekosh, Maéva and Dalvani. If she's giving them candy it's mostly her just being genuinely nice and only a little manipulative. With Levia and Fiore it's the other way around. And yup, scribbling notes inside those books with the actual facts and putting them back in the shelf so others will read them and stumble upon the corrections. Destroy whatever faith they had in their ancestors so they are even more willing to just serve the fell dragon because if humans can't be trusted then maybe the dragons can. And yes to painting the other side in a better light, she'd totally do that, not just with history but in the present as well. Even if it's not the side she herself is on. Make sure the other countries have absolute faith in the divine dragon, only to put a plan in motion that causes them to accidentally to more harm than good. Boost their popularity only to tear them down and make them look like villains

Yup, sounds perfect. And it's also the only time no one is disapproving of his weird plans, not even the knights and professors. They're all just like "yea, sure, go ahead and do it, just make sure you only get those nobles" and yes, love that little feral tsun rabbit growing a little over the year. Starts out as "this place sucks, humans are lame, I hate Fódlan and I'm not gonna even try to give it a chance" which slowly becomes "okay, not all humans suck but I'm not gonna admit it because I still want to go back to Sreng and have my tribe accept me and my parents" until he finally realizes he doesn't want to live in a tribe that sets impossible standards for him ("your parents are pathetic for being so accepting of humans and you are also no good because you're their kid but also don't you dare talk bad of your parents either or try to rejoin us without them because no true taguel abandons their family") and just joins the knights at Garreg Mach instead because that's now his real home

Now that's a great environment for this kind of talk and also good thing Hias is there too. Ralston is one of the few people Marceau won't be a jerk to but it's still better to have his retainer there because he'd definitely get a bit frustrated and impatient with Ralston when discussing his trusting nature. And yes, it'll take some time and maybe some conversations with that emblem until they become less wary of the new wolf. And yup, whoever that emblem is, I'm sure they'd put in a good word or two for Fáelán. Wolf boy and that emblem ring had a long and difficult journey to leave Elusia and track down Ralston's squad so the emblem knows wolfboy really wants to help the good guys

Yup, she still sees them as beneath her since they aren't fell dragons themselves but she respects them as much as she can respect humans and laguz. And she'll also be a bit more tolerant of Levia and Fiore. They're idiots but they're growing on her. And yay, some people also noticing some things about their records. Even without Ivora's notes they'll see that some things don't add up and while sometimes they will say "well, they didn't have all the details" other times it's also a clear "okay, they're trying to cover stuff up and thanks to their standing they even get away with it". So when they find those notes? Makes them even more convinced that some of the historians were lying. Ivora may not do this to help the humans and has her own reasons for doing this but she greatly approves when more and more people begin to question what they've been told about the continent's history. Good thing she's not in Fódlan at Garreg Mach, she'd really have a field day with slowly exposing the truth about stuff there xD

Since it probably happens somewhere between those battles against the agarthans it's also a nice way for everyone to catch a break. No, seriously, we need to make this canon, they will have that party! Even if some at the monastery may think it's tasteless at first they too will eventually celebrate Desai's death. Because "man, if his own kids are this happy then he really must have been an awful father"

And then Yanser sees Tahvo's beastform when someone makes use of that engage skill and thinks that's a bird too. Fáelán even jokes that it probably is because it sure as hell isn't a wolf, it looks nothing like him and Harrison. Tahvo makes fun of his own beastform too, saying that some sort of mutation must have happened down the line and that's why his tribe and other wolfskin tribes too are so secluded and rarely leave Albinea

Not even gonna stop you if you actually do that xD I do love him teasing everyone though so even if you are mean to him make sure he doesn't change too drastically
Marceau is definitely trying to not get too annoyed but Ralston is not making this easy so yeah, Hias being there is for the best. Even if they don't have to step in just being present for it will ensure that Marceau will try a bit harder to keep his cool despite getting incredible frustrated with Ralston's naivety. As for wolf boy, even if he and that emblem aren't a good match during combat they'd probably hang out at the Somniel every now and then

Yup, lovable idiots they are, even a proud fell dragon like Ivora can't deny that. And hey, they do get shit done somehow. Not always but for being idiots they can be surprisingly competent. Nekosh still isn't getting paid enough for putting up with them though. And yes, kinda wanna see that too xD I think sometimes her notes are in a more professional tone while other times it's more like "oh please, this 'greatest warrior of his time' couldn't even walk two steps without tripping over his own feet and literally cried for his mommy when a foe glared a little too hard at him. The only reason he still got hailed as a hero is because his daddy dearest offered gold or death to any writers who were keeping records of that oh so amazing battle". And yea, the agarthans would probably tolerate her and she them. Both think of each other as beneath them and there's no backstabbing only because both sides somewhat fear each other and don't want to risk it. Also, the agarthans totally thinking of her as 'borderline Nabatean' because she's a fell dragon but to them all dragon people must be nabatean. Only 'borderline' in her case because they can tell this little monster is not related to the goddess they hate so much

Good, we need some chaos between those battles. Just one huge party before we torment the kids again. And yup, three out of four of this guy's children say that he's a piece of shit and the only kid who thought of him as a good father is a little demon spawn herself

Kerah and Tahvo experimenting to see if they can make use of both of their forms by not fully engaging in hopes of ending up with a huge wolfskin/wolfssegner with wings, talons and maybe some feathers mixed with the fur just to mess with Yanser even further but of course the engage mechanic doesn't work like that. It was still worth a shot and they aren't too disappointed

I love that! And go ahead, make that pairing canon. Like you said, we already have so many characters that it won't hurt if you pair two of your own with each other. Besides, I plan on making that Maéva and Ivora ship at the very least semi-canon anyway. Only that Maéva is less horny and has more dignity than her incorrect self xD But back to Kerah and your plans for him. If you don't do that it's a crime. They probably won't need to hide their relationship but if they still feel like they should keep it hidden I won't complain either. And hell yea, make it someone Kerah knew! And him realizing only after killing that person! Raven boy just gets double traumatized!
But man, we sure love traumatizing the kids by having someone severely injure their partners, friends and allies they feel protective of. We have Ajax taking a hit for their boyfriend, Praxar forcing Zinara to protect their bestie Vigran, Orion shielding his father from one of Ralston's attacks and who knows what else we'll do to our other characters. Man, we are the worst xD
Yes, they get annoyed but won't snap at first but when Ralston keeps falling for Levia and Fiore's disguises I think plenty of his friends will get more direct. At least one of them is gonna yell at him. But during that first meeting where the only issue is Ralston immediately trusting Fáelán without question despite the squad being tricked by Ivora only moments ago? Yup, everyone stay calm and don't get too mad at him, we can discuss this without screaming at each other

The more we joke about them being Team Rocket the more I want them to have a shitty motto xD Something they think sounds cool, intimidating, edgy... and their friends and allies are just cringing every time they do this. And yup, Ivora just switching between writing about the true events in a normal, professional way and just throwing shade at those false heroes and stuff xD Sometimes it's just like that one incorrect quote, she's made solely out of sarcasm and homosexuality. And I kinda want to make that crying 'greatest warrior of his time' canon now. Either he's a national hero of Elusia or, even better, of Brodia. Maybe the great-great-grandfather of Brodia's king or of Calais' dad xD Either way, that dude was pathetic and having anyone find out how much of a clumsy crybaby he was would be super embarrassing so there are no records about his less than stellar moments, he's just portrayed as a super amazing warrior everywhere because no one would respect a king or warrior with that kind of ancestry xD

And whatever happens to this little shit, no one will care. Rossi is just that much of an asshole, even at her age. The only good thing about it is that with the right people raising her she could maybe change for the better. But even then her siblings aren't obligated to accept and forgive her. She's not gonna have nice things. And yes, maybe shortly before the agarthans put their newest plan in motion, the one where they have the old legendary heroes posses the current crest bearers. Can't have that happen before the party, we don't want those bad spirits to have a good time xD Would be funny though

A bird laguz from before Kerah became a retainer makes sense. Since that bird will be an enemy I guess they joined the baddies at some point? But they can also be an enemy without being a fell follower. There are plenty of possible reasons
And yup, best way to traumatize them xD And true, it also affects the others, like how our kinky dragons will notice that Kerah just isn't being his usual cheeky self. Ronera makes one of her usual accidentally sexual remarks, realizes what she just said and waits for Kerah to make fun of her for it. And then carefully repeats it because the raven hasn't commented at all. "Uh... I'm gonna pound her real hard and she'll still be feeling my tail for weeks. See, because 'pounding' and doing stuff with my tail to her... no? okay". Yup, raven boy is really messed up and it creeps our dragons out
Yea, they can accept the first few times he trusts an enemy. And to be fair, he ended up being right about the wolf. But not every enemy is gonna change sides, most of them weren't forced to fight for the fell dragon and Ralston just keeps believing that everyone wanting to join him has good intentions. Sure, he'll learn eventually but until then his poor friends will have to keep him in line xD

Our two idiots just presenting their ideas to the squad and not caring if they hate it. And now they not only want a motto, they want a cool name too! Fell Followers sounds nice and all but they want something unique only to them
