Lunapaw awoke sleepily, glancing around the apprentice's den. She padded out into campgrounds, searching eagerly for Yarrowfoot. She found him with haste, the yellow tom was perched upon a fallen log, grooming himself. "Yarrowroot!" She mewed excitedly. He turned to look at her, his eyes glistening. "Ah, hello Lunapaw." He meowed, tucking his tail underneath him. "Woah, did you catch that?" She asked, gesturing towards the large rabbit at his side. Yarrowroot nodded with a chuckle. "Maybe you can catch a big rabbit too." Yarrowroot encouraged, and Lunapaw's eyes widened with excitement. "Maybe I will!" She said enthusiastically, trotting away and off into the forest.

A relatively young cat, Birchfrost surely had few experience in interpreting unusual dreams. His most recent related experience dates back to his apprentice days, when his mentor interprets dreams for Stagstar. However, though inexperienced, Birchfrost was not unfamiliar with the sign of contact from ancestors, and he too shared an indescribable feeling that Ravenstar's dream should not be overlooked. "It's been long since something alike happened. It seemed possible that our ancestors are trying to tell us something," he mewed. "We might have to work out the meaning behind your dream carefully. The dead stag at the creek and the ravens might not seem as ominous as it appear. We need to dive in." he tilted his head. "Was there something abnormal with the creek?"Seedsong (at the creek, with Lakewhisker moonclaw400 Songpaw 🎃☠️PumpkinAmberBlaze☠️🎃)
"Let's head to the creek then," Seedsong mewed, leading the way out of the camp. The forest was still quiet in the day, but it's bound to get livelier and more difficult to sneak around quietly as the sun rises. Seedsong chose the shortest route to creek, watching around with alert, making sure they would not be disturbed. |
