"I'm thinking of maybe one more cat to come with," she said. "But I'm fine if it'd just be us, more patrols will get sent put later, so I'm sure it would be fine if we don't catch a lot or can only do a small portion of the border." She was already looking forward to spending time with the other warrior, and she didn't mind if they got other cats to come with them. "Maybe we could take Doveflower." She flicked her tail in the direction of the warrior by the apprentice den.

Sootmask's fur shot up when he heard the warrior suggest they go alone. "Perhaps we should ask her," Sootmask looked at Doveflower, the warrior was not so far from them, "But you're also right about going alone." The warrior didn't want to make it seem as if he was trying to avoid being with her alone. "I'll let you decide if we should ask Doveflower to join us. I'm fine with anything."
He looked back at Mumblewhisker and then at the camp exit. He wondered what the weather would be like once they would actually start patrolling.

Mumblewhisker smiled when he agreed to going, not really noticing the tom's neevousness at what she proposed. "Sure I can," she said. She got up and headed over to where Doveflower was. "Good morning Doveflower," she greeted the other she cat. "Are you up for going out to hunt or do a border patrol with Sootmask and I?"

Frogshade stood in front of the warriors den unsure of what to do. He considered going out to hunt but at the moment he would just observe his clanmates,
Firetooth: Camp Open
Firetooth, who was carrying a bird in his jaws, makes his way into camp and goes to the fresh kill pile. He sets the bird down and takes a small step back.

Sootmask dipped his head and looked at Mumblewhisker after hearing Doveflower's answer. His heart slowly calmed down knowing that another cat would join the pair. "Hunting does sound good," Sootmask did agree with the she-cat however he wanted to give Mumblewhisker a choice since this was her idea ,"But it's up to you Mumblewhisker."
He gave a soft glance at Mumblewhisker, waiting for her answer.

"Hunting it is then," she said, smiling. "Let's get going then. I don't believe we've hunted in the southern part in a while, so we can try there." With that the she cat headed for the entrance of the cage, excited to be able to get out into the forest, pausing once outside, both to wait for the other two, but also to get to enjoy the feeling of the wind and the sun that was filtering through the leaves of the tree on her fur.

The cat shook his head and followed the she-cat. The tom exited the cave they called home and was met by the wind and the sun. "You walk pretty fast Mumblewhisker," Sootmask then flattened his ears, "Not that it's a bad thing though."
The soft ground he stood above was cold. "It actually feels nice right now." He closed his eyes, enjoying the wind brushing against his fur.

"Sorry I'm just excited to get outside," she said, her ears pulling back in embarrassment. She always preferred being outside then in her former twolegs nest, and while she adored the cave that was her home, she loved the feeling of the sun on her fur and the sounds of the forest. She smiled as she headed off south, scenting the air as she went to locate prey, it was still early that not a lot was out but she was able to catch the scent of a mouse eventually.
