Mountainleap in Medicine Den with Cinnamonpaw, Sunnysky, and Howlpaw Mountainleap nodded. "Rustlekit is a good name," he agreed. He glanced over at Sunnysky and Howlpaw, wondering whether they should gather with the rest of the Clan or not. "Sunnysky," he called gently, "Should we gather with the rest of the Clan?" Sunnysky in Medicine Den with Cinnamonpaw, Mountainleap, and Howlpaw Sunnysky dipped her head. "I suppose we should," she grunted. She would've much preferred if they could've stayed to give Cinnamonpaw a rest, but with the weather it would be best to gather with the rest of the Clan. "Howlpaw and I will each grab a kit. Mountainleap, you help Cinnamonpaw," she glanced over at the still born kit, "And grab Rustlekit, Mountainleap, we should at least bury him." |

Lynxtail The tom had awoken from a nap feeling rather groggy, and let out a long stretch. He made his way out of the warrior's den, and looked around. He saw Sootmask resting nearby, and padded over to them. "Hello." He mewed as he approached. "How are you?" He asked thoughtfully. |

Sootmask's ears perked up hearing a familiar voice behind him. The warrior's green eyes stared at the larger grey tom who said his name earlier. He turned to face the warrior with a warm smile. "I won't lie, just a bit worried because of this storm," the tom's ears flattened before continuing,"The lightning has been so strong that I feel the ground shake each time it strikes. His chest puffed, showing how he was truly restless with this weather. "Um, how about you though?"
Sootmask didn't want to bother the tom with his concerns as he was sure by now that everyone knew of how the weather has been acting up as of late. |

Lynxtail Lynxtail flashed the tom a smile as he sat down, flicking his tail side to side. "I understand, I'm a bit anxious myself." He said, and he knew how Sootmask felt. He hated the way the ground would shutter as lightning strikes, though he tried to keep himself grounded. "I think we'll be alright." He said hopefully in a reassuring manner. |

Howlpaw-Medicine Cat Den-Sunnysky, Mountainleap, Cinnamonpaw
'Shouldn't we wait to bury the body till after the storm," he asked his mentor. "The rain is making the ground not stick together, so it will simply uncover the body for any scavenger to come and make it, it's meal." He said flicking his ear after he finished his statement. He had a few ideas as to why one came out still born, namely the queen's age, the other two queens hadn't lost any of their kits, and it was because they were older, so to the young tom, it only seemed logical that age was an issue.

The wary cat looked down for a moment before looking back at Lynxtail. "I really hope so," The mere thought of having camp engulfed by flames gave Sootmask shivers. Could that even happen? After all, we are in a cave...

Lynxtail was keen on his wariness, and he felt similar to him within this moment. He had truly hoped they'd be alright, and deep down he believed everything would be fine. But could he really keep believing that? At each lightning strike the tom shuddered, and eventually his whole body began to constantly tremble. "I hadn't thought of that. Perhaps you're right." Lynxtail meowed, thinking of their leader. He wondered what Streamstar was feeling. He then thought of his mate, Ivy, and grew concerned as he thought maybe they were being punished. After all, nobody knew of their relationship, she was a rogue. |

Chilling thoughts of possible horrid scenarios played in Sootmask's head and the cat forced himself to forget as he believed that thinking about it too much will actually cause something to happen. His eyes were filled with uncertainty, not sure what the HavenClan had in store for his beloved clan.
"I hope if things do go hectic that we'd be fine. I'm just worried about so many cats here, especially Mumblewhisker. I don't know what I'd do if something happened to her. She's a great friend. The tom had nodded in agreement with his statement, it certainly wasn't safe to go out. His mind reeled, and he felt a bit dizzy as he thought of Ivy. "I hope so too." He said solemnly.
Lynxtail's mind swirled, and all that could escape him were small, raspy breaths. Ivy. What if something were to happen to her? There's no way she can withstand this weather.
Lynxtail gave the tom a soft smile. "I'm glad you have a friend like that." He said, truly happy for the tom. "Do you think..." Lynxtail shook his head and stopped himself before he spoke any further. "What if someone's lost out there? What do you think would happen to them?" He asked rather quickly. |

Cinnamonpaw-Medicine Cat Den-With Mountainleap, Sunnysky, and Howlpaw
Cinnamonpaw clutched the stillborn kit tightly once more, licking it's fur softly as she did. Afterwards she shifted away to allow Mountainleap to take the small kit's lifeless body, moving to stand herself and finding her entire body screaming with pain and exhaustion from the birth. She stumbled back onto her haunches in an odd sitting position and didn't try to stand for a moment again, giving herself at least a few moments to get some strength in her limbs.

"It's just..." He began, but stopped himself short. "Sootmask, you can't tell this to anyone. It could risk everything for me." He said in a sudden and serious manner, coming closer to the tom. "I have to go out there." He sighed, his eyes fixating on the ground.
"My mate is out there." He said with a gulp, adjusting his gaze to the tom. "I know it's against the rules, but nobody understands. I love her, and she's the only one who understands me." He began to explain rather quickly, hoping not to be judged. "She's all I have." He said finally.
He made sure as to not give away Mosspelt, as Ivy was his sister after all. If anyone in the Clan found out of his relationship with her, Lynxtail couldn't imagine what would happen. Exile? |

He shook his head before sighing. "This isn't any of my business, so I won't tell any cat here, regardless of how I feel about your situation," Sootmask's eyes stared at Lynxtail showing that he was serious, hoping he could trust his word.
"If you need to go find her, I won't let you go alone, what if something happens to you?" Sootmask's philosophy was always to live life simply with no problems, even at the cost of doing things he didn't like. He understood to an extent why Lynxtail has a mate outside of the clan and perhaps he would do the same if no molly was interesting to him, but Sootmask would rather be alone rather than cause trouble in his life. |

The tom felt relieved as he had finally told someone of his mate, and a burden felt as thought it had been lifted off his chest. He felt grateful as well, that he had a new friend in which he felt he could truly trust. He looked into Sootmask's eyes, and something told him that the tom wouldn't betray him.
"Thank you, I know it's strange." Lynxtail sighed. "When I first met her, I almost attacked her, but she was ever so beautiful." Lynxtail said, his eyes foggy as he began to reminisce. He shook himself free of the daydream, and returned his gaze to Sootmask.
"You can't risk yourself for me like that." Lynxtail's eyes widened at the tom's words. They had barely known eachother, though Sootmask had put so much faith into him. "If something happens to me, I'd rather not bring you down with me." He explained carefully. "Besides, I got myself into this mess." He sighed once more. |

Sunnysky in Medicine Den with Howlpaw, Cinnamonpaw, and Mountainleap Sunnysky nodded. "Yes," she replied. Howlpaw was right. It would uncover and scavengers would come and take it, but they might as well bring it along, just in case. She whispered into Howlpaw's ear, "But we need to bring it in case the camp sets on fire. Do you know how devistated Cinnamonpaw would be if that happened?" Mountainleap in Medicine Den with Cinnamonpaw, Howlpaw, and Sunnysky Mountainleap let Cinnamonpaw rest for a few moments. He understood just how exhausted she must be after having kits. After a few moments of letting her rest, he tried to help her to her paws and allowed her to lean against him if need be. |

Ivy The she-cat hid in fear of the storm, taking sanctuary in her small den. Her worries lay with Lynxtail and Mosspelt, who she cared for dearly. She had hoped they were within the safety of CrystalClan, and not out in the dreadful storm. Her body jolted at every lightning strike, and she felt herself growing weary as the rain poured down above her. |

Howlpaw flicked his ear in thought as she spoke. At the possibility of a fire, his tail flicked in slight disapproval. "Shouldn't we then put our focus on getting the herbs to a safe place, then worrying over a body," he asked her quietly. While he understood the importance of honoring the dead, no matter the cause, but if a fire was possible with the storm raging outside, he couldn't help but feel the priority should be to get the living cats out of danger and get as much of the herbs as possible. "Because if a fire is possible who knows if we would be able to find herbs is all...with three queens with kits and elders, the ash that will come won't do them any good."

Sunnysky in Medicine Den Sunnysky let out an exasperated sigh. Why did Howlpaw have to make everything so difficult? She took a moment to think of what they could do to get the herbs and the kits. "How about this," she prompted, "I take your kit on my back and you and Cinnamonpaw carry the herbs. We can also just get a few warriors to grab some." There was also the possibility of asking CragClan for some herbs, but she didn't want to pester them. |

The tom hesitated before agreeing reluctantly. "She's a beautiful grey molly, you won't miss her." He decided to provide a brief description, that way maybe it would be easier to find her. "If we're doing this, let's get moving." He said quickly, looking around them to make sure none had heard. He trotted off in the direction of Ivy's oak tree in which she had made her own little burrow, and hoped they'd find her rather quickly. |

Howlpaw-Medicine Cat Den->Camp-One of Cinnamonpaw's kits, Queens, Kits
The young apprentice flicked his tail as he simply picked up the kit once more and left the den. If Sunnysky didn't think of protecting the herbs then he wouldn't waste his time trying to gather any, if they got destroyed in the fire they got destroyed. Setting the kit down by the other queens and kits the medicine cat apprentice flicked his tail as he padded to ensure the other dens were empty of cats, before returning to the queens and settling down to help watch over the kits.
