The molly chuckled softly, amused at her kit's playful manner. "Maybe in a few moons, dear." The she-cat spoke gently. "Okay!" Echokit mewed with a smile. Stormtail sat by her side, watching them as Riverstone spoke.

The tom stepped forward, his smile faltering. "I'm sure he would've." Stormtail reassured them, with a strong smile returning to his face. Rivertstone smiled at his compassion.

The large tom looked up from his grooming as the other approached, his ears flicking at the greeting. "Oh, hey Lynxtail." Shifting the tom moved to lay down, tucking his paws underneath him and simply relaxing. "Did you need anything." Not a lot of cats approached the tom usually, mainly just those looking to form a patrol who wanted some extra muscle in case they ran across something not so friendly.

The molly had been hoping to see her mate all day so to see him pad in brought an immediate smile to her face, a small purr rumbling up when he licked her head.. "I'm okay Mountainleap, just feeling a bit... big." She gave a small chuckle and her tail curled over her large stomach at the word. "The little ones have been rambunctious and not letting me get a semblance of good sleep. How has your day been so far though?"

Mountainleap hesitated before answering, should he tell her that he feels guilty? "It's... it's going fine," he replied. He froze a bit, realizing that he stuttered a little. He hoped that Cinnamonpaw wouldn't notice. "...I can't wait until the kits are born!" He meowed, trying to sound casual.

He purred in delight after learning the names of the new kits. "You picked out very good names Spottedtwig," he blinked before looking back at the tom,"How are you feeling right now? I hope I'm not bothering you if you're tired." He understood if the queen wanted time alone as he had just finished a vigorous task. "I can leave if you're too tired."

Sootmask dipped his head, showing the queen he was genuine with his words.

The molly did notice though and her ears fell back a little. "I'm excited too but... it feels like something is bothering you." She knew what it was already really. It wasn't the first time she had noticed him feeling bad about having halted her training and even if she tells him that she doesn't mind it she knows that he minds. She wished she knew how to truly ease his worries.

Hm, a hunt didn't sound that bad actually, they needed to get out and stretch their legs after all. "Sure I'll go with you. Where were you hoping to head to?" They themself enjoyed hunting in the more open areas of the territory, their larger size making the woods a little more difficult to hunt in since they had to be so careful about where they placed their paws and where their tail was and so many other factors. The feline enjoyed running and you couldn't do that in the woods.
